I like this community and the team members… My experience here over the last 9 months have been nothing but pleasant.. On 2 recent events the response time was immediate through the Cortland app… I missed Valet trash pickup and they sent someone immediately from the grounds crew to pick it up.. On another occasion after rain and heavy thunder/lighting some type of loud alarm went off , it was nonstop for several hours so I contacted them and within 10 mins it was stopped. I also renewed my lease for another year…

I love living along the canals and under the huge shade trees of Cortland Bayport. My concrete build apartment is super quiet and the added square footage of the bonus room plus vaulted ceilings is incredible! I’m very impressed with the friendliness of the service team and work orders are always completed much faster than anticipated. When I walk my dog, everyone walking around the community is super nice. I’m very satisfied with the amenities: multiple dog parks and pools and fitness centers! Target is just minutes away and is always empty — so quiet! — which makes for a great shopping experience. In this area, the folks at CFA, Taco Bell, and McDonald’s are SO NICE. The people in this area are very cool. It’s just a sleepy little part of Tampa and I’m in love with it. Last but not least, the office staff is always willing to solve problems quickly. They even picked up a package for me when it was delivered early and I was out of town — they kept it safe in the office for me until I got home. Glad I chose t

I just moved in two weeks ago and so far everything has been great. Leidy made my move in smooth and everyone has been attentive and friendly. The location is a great area, easy access to get just about anywhere and there is a great trail to ride your bike just across the street. So far so good! Will update as the weeks go on.

Been living here for over two years now and will be renewing for another year. Had an A/c issue and it was taken care of immediately. Had an issue with my assigned parking space and they changed it for me. The pool is always taken care of and the common areas are always clean. The service team is great. Also Denise in the office was very attentive with my parking space issue. The assigned parking spots are nice since the last place I stayed was first come first serve ,which is a pain if you’re out and about late night and come home and the parking lot is full.

The staff here is amazing, and the apartment complex is so beautiful, clean, modern and safe. Jen Crump was by far the best guided tour agent for my apartment Tour and showed me all of the amenities and everything that cortland bayport had to offer. Definitely the best apartment complex to lease in!! Thank you Jen for being so accommodating and walking me through the leasing process!

I've lived in Cortland Bayport's Gallery South for about 8 months and would absolutely recommend this community to anyone looking for an apartment in the area. The neighborhood is safe, beautiful, and quiet. It's like living in a botanical garden that's also a bird sanctuary. Pauline was wonderful to work with during the leasing process. Management is quick to resolve any issues and Heidi has been super helpful. The service technicians are phenomenal, especially Iliev and Rey. It's a pretty great place all around :)

I have been living here for 3+yrs and I can say that it is one the best places I’ve lived! From the space to the multiple gums, pools and jacuzzi times, we have been treated with the upmost courtesy and respect! And not to mention the food trucks every week, contributing to give back to the community and environment. As a family of 5, we have been abundantly blessed. We are so grateful! I’ve lived here ten months and I have nothing but good to say. The community members are genuinely kind and caring. I can honestly say that I feel as though I’m home. Cortland staff are professional, and do their very best to make sure that you are well cared for. The maintenance staff are also wonderful and very professional and polite. It’s absolutely beautiful and I feel as if I’m living at a resort! Words cannot do justice to the Cortland experience, you had to come and visit to see it for yourself. I just renewed my lease for another year!

UPDATE 5/23/24: Made our own bouquet 💐 and enjoyed mimosas today. Such a cute and sweet event. Thanks for having me!!! 🥂 UPDATE as of 1/2022 So I’ve been living here several months now and wanted to update my review. They did replace my washer dryer with a cosmetically better looking set however it is still not the one I was shown and also makes really loud noises (washer only) when I run it. My upstairs neighbors does the same thing because I can hear it. HOWEVER, even with that being said I am very happy with the communication and effort put forth to at least get a better looking one in there. I’m changing my review from a three star to a 5 star mainly for the following: 1. The management team has ALWAYS gone above and beyond to make sure I’m happy. They communicate quickly, professionally, and happily. I don’t ever seem to bother them when I’ve had any questions or concerns. This goes for the maintenance team as well. These apartments are really nice both inside and outside are well kept up with and it is a nice friendly/family community which I feel is something rare to find when you are living in a apartment complex, Leidy has always been helpful and informative whenever we go to the office and had any questions she is always the one to help us out. Overall Cortland Bayport is really nice however the only thing is the pricing is on the higher side.

This is my absolute favorite apartment complex I have lived in the Tampa area. The location is perfect. In the nearby area You have Publix, 7-Eleven, target, coffee shops, restaurants, pet stores, veterinarians, and more all within a three minute drive. And don’t forget about all the beautiful bike trails nearby and this complex is right on the water! There’s even places to dock your paddle boards, kayaks, and boats. Heidi made my move-in, exceptionally easy and made me feel so welcomed and at home. She even honored me the rent special that came out after I had already applied. Rey From maintenance helped me with my maintenance requests at move-in And he was so kind and courteous. He was great with my dogs and so helpful! This place doesn’t feel like an apartment complex, it feels like a resort, Everyone I dealt with is not just an employee, but they show hospitality.

I honestly gives this place a 100%... the truth is that from the first day I decided to call to see when I could move and all the steps to follow, Leidy Leon assisted me in a unique and professional way. She was in charge of everything and the one who helped me until the end. It is a super nice, clean, quiet and safe place. The truth is that I feel very satisfied with Miss Leidy's professionalism, and with everything on general. It has been a super nice experience for me and my family to currently be living there. Every time I call the office to ask something, they immediately answer me and help me with everything. My son is happy, because the truth is that it has beautiful pools, its has a basketball court and super nice views. In particular, I recommend them. Absolutely enjoying my experience here! The property is very well maintained and landscaping is always beautiful and trimmed. Plenty of waterside walks and views. The office and maintenance staff for the complex are great! Any time I've had an issue, even as small as my garbage disposal is clogged, they are fast to resolve and tend to it. (Literally usually within a day if not the same day) It's so easy to reach the staff for messages and/or file requests online anytime with pics and videos, but the front office is always welcoming as well. I always see maintenance/cleaning staff around working hard daily; whether it's at a unit, cleaning outside the pool/gym/shared spaces. Both pools and gyms are also always clean and well maintained. There are nice grilling and picnic areas and the chairs and patios are are always clean. There is actually really good equipment in both of the gyms as well. They have real circuit equipment, dumbbells,TRX, benches, smith machines, yoga space, variety and plenty cardio options,

I have really enjoyed living at Cortland Bayport so far. The maintenance team is top notch and the ladies in the office are always so helpful. I have had a string of maintenance requests lately to figure out why there was water leaking from my ceiling and the apartment above me. It took several visits to have them find and correct the issue(s). Jen in the office was so patient and amazing. She helped me schedule appointments that worked in my schedule. She explained things to me and made feel at ease. David on the maintenance team came out to my home on a Saturday to take the most recent look. He was friendly, quick, and thorough finding things that I had not even noticed. By the time he left, the leak had been fixed and I was very happy with the results. It really is a wonderful place to live.

I don’t really leave reviews like this but I just had to. My mom (72) lives here and the office staff has been nothing I’m but amazing to her, the entire time she’s been here. They all know her by name and to me that says a lot BC this is a very large apartment complex and that is pretty hard to remember someone by name. And it’s not just the office- it’s also the Maint tech's and the mail lady. Overall super happy my mom is living at a place where they actually care.

The landscaping and layout of the property are amazing, the gym is awesome, the view is incredible, we're close to everything we need and I love the community events!! From the moment you walk-in the door until you leave, this place treats you like gold!! I have never been in a place where l've felt so welcome by so many people at this beautiful property thanks to the amazing Team Ana,Anthony,Denise. I was greeted by my name when I walked into the office which was the first from all the experience I had this week from apartment rentals in the area. I felt so welcoming. Ana and her Team gave me a property tour which I must say the curve appeal was up to par! When I enter the first apartment and walked in I felt at home at once! You can smell the freshness of a clean home that’s an A+ the spacious bedrooms was also a A+ I can fit my king size bedroom set here! I really appreciate the Team for taking time to help me find my home.

I live in the older side (hate to call it that but there is a newer side) and I love it. I have upgraded features like stainless sink, black appliances, back granite tops and the best part no carpet in my living room and office! I have had issues here and there nothing crazy just things people can expect with apartment living but the staff is Johnny on the spot and handles all concerns i have had fast. My access card stopped working and i couldn't get my package, i called the office they not only reset my card but asked if i wanted them to grab my package and bring it to me. I had a pest control issue with ants and the same day i put the request dylan was out to service my home and showed me some tips and tricks to help. I had a new neighbor park in my spot by accident and i sent a picture of the tag to the office email. Within minutes the neighbor was out moving their car. The events are great and they are always hosting something for us. I love bringing my friends over to the parties and to relax alongside

After months looking for a nice place to move, we found Cortland! It's been almost 2 years already and we love living here! The place is beautiful and well kept, they do many nice events to entertain the neighbors and the apartments are a reasonable size with a good number of closets and room for everything. Highly recommend here 😊😊❤️

Leidy, Sandra, Denise, Jose, Nelson and the entire Cortland Bayport Staff. They hold cool events and are very friendly and helpful. Maintenance also is on point they are quick to respond and make sure you are happy with the work.

My girlfriend and I have been living here for the last month now and the experience has been exceptional. From the move in process to any work orders we needed fulfilled, they keep the place extremely clean and up-kept. Nelson and Ray have been to our place to do maintenance a couple times already and they have been extremely helpful and overall great people. Definitely recommend this place!

I absolutely enjoy this community! Signed my 3rd lease here because it's Amazing here the staff is always nice, the maintenance is fantastic, it's ALWAYS clean. Denise is Incredible, her and her staff hold the bar high for taking care of people and situations. Thank you all for everything you do and continue to strive to accomplish. Cortland is a great place to live! The office staff is amazing and so is the maintenance staff! I have lived here for 8 months and have loved every minute of it. Everyone is very friendly here and the staff plan wonderful events for the residents!

Moved 4 months ago and love it, the maintenance team is the best and the office team is great. Parking can be tight but that’s apartment living. Love the pools and lakes. I go fishing every Friday and it’s very peaceful.

This community is so nice, it's on the water and just very peaceful to live. The office and all the staff are always very nice and always willing to help with anything. They put together monthly events which are always to nice to join

Our oven and burners were not working at all. Albert with Cortland was extremely knowledgeable and courteous and fixed our problem right away! Very pleased! Thank You! Sandra Setin The 23rd of January I needed help with a leak in the shower and dryer element died. Nelson and Ricardo were very professional and kind and fixed the problems! Also leaning no mess behind!! Thank You! Sandra Setin February 12,2024 our AC unit went down phoned 800 number to report and 10:00 am the next day the AC was fixed. Maintenance team is great and efficient making a headache go away efficiently. Management followed up with a phone call to see if we were satisfied. Very pleased. Sandra Setin

2/13/24 - Update! I am absolutely loving this community! They have fun contests every month. This month is the chocolate fountain with wine!. Last month was beer and wings and each time they have a drawing with generous gifts. Lastly, any time I have ever needed service, it is taken care of right away! I just moved in a couple weeks ago and I am soooo impressed with everyone I have dealt with so far! My Lease Consultant Pauline, Lease Manager Jen, Maintenance Mgr Al and especially Maintenance Man Leo. They have all been so helpful and have gone over and above to make living here so comfortable. Any time I have asked for anything to be fixed it has been done right away. Top Notch Service all around!!

I usually wouldn't leave a review but my brother lives here and had a personal situation and Denise and Jen were on it within 30 minutes. I've lived at many different places and I've never seen an office staff care that much. I'm really really impressed with the workers and the community. I'm so glad that my brother is in good hands.

I must say this property is just amazing. It sits on the water and has so many amenities. The staff is great especially Denise and Sandra at the front office. They are always willing to help without hesitation, and always with a big smile. They even remember my name and my dogs name!!!! In such a big community you’d think that would be hard. I LOVE IT HERE!!

I absolutely love Cortland Bayport apartments. I have spoken with Jen a handful of times and she always answers all of my questions. She’s very detailed and makes sure you have all the information you need. I would highly recommend these apartments and working with Jen! Update: Jen was able to give me a tour of the apartments and she did wonderful! She helped me decide which layout would be the best for me and gave me a detailed tour of the property. She was very professional!

Great complex so far. Maintenance responds within 48 hours which is way faster then other places I lived. Apartment was very clean upon move-in. Great waterfront views, depending which rental you live, plenty of walking paths on the water for everyone to walk. Our Leasing rep Leidy Leon was very responsive to our requests and questions and went out of her way to make sure everything was in order for pre and post move. The grounds are very clean, nice landscaping, lots of sidewalks. Rental price is average compared to other places. Rent is high in general accross the US. There are 2 gyms which are very nice and 2 large pools. I will update review if needed, but don't forsee any future challenges. I saw other reviews about mold, but you need to keep your AC running in Florida, you turn it off and you get mold, that is everywhere you go. There is not any mold in our place. There is not any insect issues either, they do have Pest Control. The apartment I live is a concrete structure. I live on the first floor and

What a beautiful property!!! I had the pleasure of going on a tour lead Ana one of the leasing agents. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered every one of my questions. I’ve been here almost a year I’ve loved it! There are weekly community events and food trucks with great food! The entire staff is friendly, attentive, very communicative in regards to addressing issues and concerns. AND on top of that, they offer residents free coffee, donuts, pizza, and other snacks for different events throughout the year!

I have written a few reviews over the years because long term tenants really get to know the property. I’ve lived at Cortland for 6 years. The office and maintenance people are so nice. The property is maintained meticulously. They throw parties for us, give us breakfast on the go, invite in food trucks. Cortland makes it feel like home!

Cortland Bayport is a great living environment with many amenities. Access to gyms, pools, hot tubs, and tennis courts is an attractive benefit to people who value fitness. The staff is attentive and responsive to residents who have questions and require assistance. Update: Sandra, Leidy, and Jennifer have been warm and welcoming to communicate with. Any assistance I've requested from the office has been met with kindness and professionalism.

Cortland Bayport has been my home for the last three years. Between quick response times on repairs and helpful front desk associates always willing to help (Sandra is amazing) it continues to be one of the best communities I have called home in Tampa. In addition, there are always multiple community activities to engage with! They have food trucks that stop by every Thursday and movie nights for certain holidays. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

Nice place, super fast maintenance crew. Parking can be tight but you cant complain given the size of the community. If you dont like that they have garages available to rent. The pool overlooking the canal is the best part. We saw our first manatee! Still loving it here! The food trucks every week is a huge plus. Westchase BBQ and Got Lobstah are mu favorite.

My family recently moved into the Cortland Bayport apartment complex and I couldn't be happier with my decision. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming specially Ana and Jennifer, they made the leasing process a breeze. The amenities are exceptional - from the sparkling pool to the state-of-the-art fitness center, everything is well-maintained and easily accessible. The apartments themselves are spacious, modern, and filled with natural light. The location is also perfect - close to shopping and dining options, yet tucked away in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Overall, I highly recommend Cortland Bayport for anyone looking for a luxurious and convenient living experience. Five stars all around!

Nice apartments on the water. Really nice pools and gyms. I just transferred from the south side of the community to the newer side. Both sides of Bayport are nice. I miss my assigned parking space and screened in patio but the upgraded interior of my current is a nice change. I am closer to the office which is nice. I can swing by and grab coffee or a snack. The team always hosts some sort of event for us. The maintenance team is great! They are some of the nicest folks I have met. Always willing to help with a smile. Ana and Denise in the office are always available to help with anything i have needed. I really appreciate all the team. 100% recommend it. You cant beat the view.

Cortland Bayport is a beautiful community to live in with a staff who truly focuses on their residents. Every apt complex has issues but if there’s any here, the team is always more than willing to listen, take feedback, and adjust accordingly.

Update - Still very happy here. I just wanted to point out that no place is perfect. The team here is always responsive and send community updates. They make the difference and the maintenance team is phenomenal same day service in most occasions. It’s sad to see people leave negative reviews when they have the information as to what’s going on. Just because you don’t read the emails and text the community send. Yes, some of us can’t access the some of the amenities but give these guys a break! There was a lighting strike that fried all of the software and they have been working diligently to get everything back online. This is beyond just their control we have spectrum trucks fixing stuff to allow our access to be restored AND guess what they have communicated daily on progress. They don’t have control over the main guard gate as this is a public road and access cannot be restricted. Again this is outlined on all move in documents. So again is it ideal.. no …. but if you took the time to listen or better yet

I have lived here 6 years. The community is meticulously maintained, the service team is amazing, and the office staff is great to work with. I have lived in similar communities price wise but never had such an at home experience.

The maintenance crew at Cortland Bayport is a well ran team. Any time I have put in a service request, they were punctual and quick to identify the issue at hand. More so, the service techs were able to answer any questions and were expeditious with the repair.

Nice place, super fast maintenance crew. Parking can be tight but you cant complain given the size of the community. If you dont like that they have garages available to rent. The pool overlooking the canal is the best part. We saw our first manatee! Still loving it here!

I love my neighbors and the events the community puts together. Food trucks every week and always doing giveaways on Facebook. Not just a complex. The Maintenance crew are the sweetest and most attentive. Office is hard to get a hold of sometimes but if you email they respond quickly. It’s a large complex 900+ so I get it. Overall happy with the team and community. Love being next to the water. Very grateful for the teams help during the recent hurricane. I was out of town and unable to bring my plants inside from my patio. Ana and her team made sure to go to my home per my request and being my plants inside. In the middle of the chaos they took my concern to heart and got it resolved. Thank you!

Beautiful community, love the pools and being able to see the manatees in the morning. Maintenance is quick to respond - we love Iliev he is very nice and always takes the time to greet our dog. He comes the same day to fix things as soon as I report. Update; want to say a special thanks to Ana the general manager. She has been very understanding and helpful. She always asks about my dog and is quick to respond any email or message. Thank you Ana!

I lived at Cortland Bayport North for a 15 month lease and I had a wonderful experience there!! The amenities are incredible, especially the North pool and it was like living in paradise with the views and the breeze from the Bay!! The other 2 pools and hot tubs in the South are extra perks!! The office is attentive and the maintenance team took care of our needs the same day or the next day every single time. I will miss living at Cortland Bayport and highly recommend the property!!

Me and my bf went to Cortland for a tour yesterday and got lucky getting Jennifer to help us. She was by far the best leasing agent we’ve spoken to ! She was so helpful, very friendly and has the best personality. She didn’t put any pressure on us to move in she even gave us other options I hadn’t thought about before. She was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had as well as helped us find something within our budget and did not try to push us towards the more expensive units. If we do decide to move to this property Jennifer is definitely one of the main reasons why. It’s not every day you meet someone as great as her ! We also loved everything she showed us. The apartments are really nice and the property is huge with tons of amenities. It also seemed very clean which is a huge plus for us.

First off i love living here ! After moving from the Midwest to Tampa,Florida. The importance of living in an area where everything is centrally located and having great amenities were high on our list and Cortland Bayport provides just that. The community has beautiful and picturesque spots all along the property. The communication between tenant and staff is impeccable , you will always be in the loop. THE PROPERTY omg! It is stunning equipped with a gym, hot tub , market place, ponds (we just had little ducklings) and more! Maintenance team is very responsive . The overall staff in particular are helpful, reliable and understanding. This is a place to live, Thanks to Ana , Heidei and the rest of the staff. Also we have food trucks come to property so there are times dinner is right outside your front door !

I recently moved to these condominiums, from the first moment they treated me excellently, they were friendly and answered all my questions, so far I have not had any complaints, everything is clean and tidy. The people in charge of the maintenance and care of the establishment are friendly and professional, I called because my A/C was not working, the technician José was friendly, fast and solved my problem in a short time. I definitely recommend this establishment if you are looking for a new home.

Living at the Cortland Bayport property is amazing. We have beautiful grounds and amenities. The staff is efficient as well as kind and considerate and Ana, the manager has been awesome. The maintenance team are exceptional - Iliev and the entire team always go the extra mile to make sure that everything is just perfect! I feel so well taken care of! I have lived here for 2 months now and have had no issues at all. There were a few small things to be fixed in the apartment and once I reached out to Anthony, he had David come and fix them the next day. If we have any questions or any concerns, Anthony has made it well known that we are well taken care of and he ensures that if anything needs fixed, it is a priority. He is very polite and respectful, he makes it easy to go and talk to him if anything were to need fixed or looked at. He has been very helpful with getting us moved in and settled.

My husband , son and I have been here going on 9 years and we love this community. We really love the remodeled fitness facility and pool area. It’s a great place to call home. Nowhere is perfect but this place has beautiful landscape, waterfront views , wildlife in the lakes such as ducks and exotic birds, turtles and fish and you also can spot a dolphin in one of the water ways on The Galleria side . Nice walking paths along the boardwalk or even by the homes behind us . Management is constantly coming up with ways to celebrate their residents with brunches by the pool, holiday events, cocktail socials, food truck nights and complimentary breakfast on the go. Rent is expensive everywhere but having these beautiful amenities and social gatherings make up for it . Maintenance responds within good timing and especially for emergencies . Like I said before nowhere is perfect, there are always room for improvement in some areas but for the most part it’s a beautiful safe and peaceful community to live in.

Update: 03/21/2022 I have lived here for 2.5 years and still haven't had any issues. idk what some people are complaining about when I haven't experienced any issues really. Any time i want something fixed they get it fixed within 24 hrs. I also love the community which is away from the road noise but close to the city. my apartment is fair priced so I expect it to not be flashy and brand new. If I had to pick one thing to complain about it would be that the bathroom is too small. old review 2020: Everything went very smoothly with Crystalynn. She was great. she always made sure to stay in communication with me via email or phone and answered all my questions. She took her time showing me all the apartments that i was interested and she even helped me out with the RPP (military housing program) paperwork. The cherry on top of it all was she left a small little placard in the kitchen that she wrote "welcome home". The customer service here is great and the area is perfect where i have access to just about ever

I have lived many places and can say hands down the team here cares. Maintenance crew is quick they often times come out same day as request. Office team is always putting fun events and keeping us in the loop of anything happening in the community. As a perk we have access to the master HOA amenities on top of two pools and two gyms. Happy to call this place home.

I love this place the dog friendly community. Tia gave me the warmest welcome. Hiedy gave me a great tour of the north and south the views and boat dock was amazing. I was surprised their was a move in special. So many unique layouts I also think I saw a mantee.

An excellent experience at Cortland Bayport. The service continues to be stellar after over two years living here. Great aesthetics inside and out plus the amenities, they are consistent in maintenance and upkeep, quick in repairs, at enforcing rules without intruding, keeping it pest free, and engaging the community with breakfast giveaways and social gatherings. I’ve lived in places where the opposite of each is true; and it’s been a pleasure to experience what it’s like when property owners and managers do it right.

This community has by far been the best experience since moving to Florida. The staff are amazing, the crew are amazing, the events and activities as well as the amenities are top notch! The views, the landscaping, we love it here so much! Sad to be leaving but excited to start a new chapter in my new home, and still a little weepy eyed about leaving the Cortland family! Couldn’t recommend this place more! The location is IDEAL!! And the beauty every direction you turn is priceless. Never had any issues with getting anything repaired or any maintenance done late. Every single experience the past 4 years has been the best! Thank you so much for making home such a beautiful and comfortable space for my family for the time we were here. I will miss you all! Ana is phenomenal and Iliev is hands down the best person to show up for your maintenance request! So friendly and always on top of everything! I feel like I’m leaving friends!

I live in the older side (hate to call it that but there is a newer side) and I love it. I have upgraded features like stainless sink, black appliances, back granite tops and the best part no carpet in my living room and office! I have had issues here and there nothing crazy just things people can expect with apartment living but the staff is Johnny on the spot and handles all concerns i have had fast. My access card stopped working and i couldn't get my package, i called the office they not only reset my card but asked if i wanted them to grab my package and bring it to me. I had a pest control issue with ants and the same day i put the request dylan was out to service my home and showed me some tips and tricks to help. I had a new neighbor park in my spot by accident and i sent a picture of the tag to the office email. Within minutes the neighbor was out moving their car. The events are great and they are always hosting something for us. I love bringing my friends over to the parties and to relax alongside

I've lived here at Courtland Bayport for about a year and a half now and so far I have really enjoyed living here. The location is perfect for me and my family. All of the amenities offered are great and you even have Food Truck Thursdays just incase you don't want to to go far for food. As a prior resident of Cortland Bayport I can tell you that you will be more than happy to live in this community. They are so quick to respond to any needs you have or any emergencies. Every time I called maintenance they were at my apartment within 10min to an hour max. They are very attentive and just an awesome community. The community is also very well kept, it is so clean and full of little animal friends. The pool is gorgeous, the fitness center has everything, and the walk-ways just add that flare. Jen is absolutely amazing. She has great customer service skills and will follow up with you so quickly. If you are thinking about moving to this area of town, definitely consider Cortland Bayport.

The grounds are beautiful! I’ve really enjoyed walking my dogs around the lake and down the canal. I also loved being able to just walk over to the kayak launch, drop my kayak in, and head out to the Bay. The ducks are a lot of fun. My only complaints are the pot smoke from the neighbors and the fact that my dishwasher still doesn’t clean well. But these are minor complaints compared to how much I have enjoyed living here and are just normal things you’d deal with in any apartment.

I cannot say enough good things about living here at Bayport! From the front office staff to the maintenance staff, this place is top notch! I have had a few service requests during my stay here and I must say I’ve never had a faster response than here. And…even in the middle of the night when my a/c acted up, David was not only quick to respond, but showed up with a big smile on his face and a friendly attitude and handled his part of the situation professionally. Then, when I was almost certain no one would show up to put in a new a/c unit before the storms hit, they proved me wrong! My husband and I recently moved into Cortland Bayport and have had nothing but a positive experience so far. The Leasing Manager, Jennifer, and consultant, Anthony, along with their entire staff, has made our quick move so easy for us! Not only have they worked past office closing time multiple days in order to approve us and get us moved in, maintenance was extremely quick to fix a couple minor issues we had upon move in. We would highly recommend this apartment to our friends and family, along with anyone interested. Once we get all our kitchen items moved in, I will be making Jennifer and her staff a sweet treat for being so great and making us feel at home already! :)

Great community to be a part of they care for your concerns and respond very quick when you have any issues.The service team and leasing team has been the best! since I moved in 3 years ago Denise in the front office has been more and great with us and has always answered our questions and made us feel like we are an important part of this community if you’re looking for a nice and affordable place to live in a great area I recommend cortland Bayport the parking is a bit tight but you will never be left without a parking spot! Very quite community and safe!

Ricardo went above and beyond on my maintenance request regarding my AC not working. He checked the inside and outside units. He also installed a new 30 amp fuse for the AC in the breaker box. He did not have to but he also provided and installed a new air filter along with another one for future use. Lastly he also topped off the Freon in the outside unit. Throughout the entire visit Ricardo was very professional and kind to both myself and my service dog. Thanks again for your help sir. Give Ricardo a bonus or raise it is well deserved. Regards Wade

had to relocate and lease with out visiting the place. very happy with my decision. The team was very helpful and patient. Answered all my questions and I had a LOT. They all greet my dog by name and the maintenance guys always help me bring in my groceries if they see me struggling. During my first storm my neighbor checked on me and made sure I was ok. First time living on my own and this place feels like home.

As a long standing tenant here at Cortland Bayport, (Formerly Island Walk) I'm truly grateful for Denise and Ana. They've always been compassionate, understanding, and dependable in rectifying any concerns or matters brought forward. The last couple of years have been especially hard on many of us; However, they've always been consistent in finding solutions for the residents here. You won't find many rental properties in Tampa that provide the various amenities at a feasible cost.

This literally is the best place in my life I’ve lived in (on my own that is)!!!!! Where do I start? The rental office looks like a snappin’ boutique hotel plucked straight from L.A. Instantaneously when you walk in you feel a sense of luxe. The second floor apartments are my favorite because they have an extra room which can be turned into an office and vaulted ceiling’s which makes the living room much bigger. The island in the kitchen makes it to be a very open space. And the shelves in the closets are to die for. The greenery in the neighborhood is always kept. Anytime and every time you make a maintenance request it is answered in the same day. The swimming pool, jacuzzi, mail room, and gym It’s almost state of the art if I must say so myself. After living here for a year I then discovered a dock behind the apartments that you can purchase a canoe and go canoeing. And the ducks are adorable. We have been living in Cortland Bayport for 3 months now and we love the community. Our apartment is very spacious and the community is quiet. The amenities are awesome. It's a really beautiful community both the North and South side are very well taken care of; It feels like your living in paradise. Perfect place for someone moving to Tampa. I had no major issues with any appliances or amenities while there and when I had minor ones it was a simple call to get them resolved within 24-48 hours. The maintenance staff is GREAT very friendly and eager to help with anything. The leasing office staff was hit or miss though Ray and Denise in particular were VERY hospitable and easy to talk to. There were a few other stand outs whose names I can't recall at the moment but the majority of the leasing office treated me like an annoyance anytime I had a question or issue such as needing a new Gate FOB. I don't want to turn this review into a rant but there were numerous other times in the leasing office the professionalism was questionable but still as a whole my experience with Cortl

Every apt complex has their issues but what makes Cortland Bayport stand out most is the team behind it that actually works through those issues; quickly I might add! Jen, Ana, and Denise, as well as all the other office staff, are AMAZING here! And the maintenance team? Phenomenal! I have never had to wait longer than a day for a maintenance order to be resolved and it’s always fixed properly. They’ve even come within an hour of submitting a request right before close when it wasn’t even urgent. Our previous apt experience was a nightmare compared to bayport and that’s when you really notice all the hard work that goes in to keep a community as nice and clean as Cortland Bayport. Overall, you can’t beat Cortlands amazing staff and beautiful community. We’re so thankful we resigned our lease a few months ago! The nature and wildlife here has our hearts too ;)

I’ve lost count of the amount of times random guests park in our spot but the overnight hotline for towing has been helpful. They remodeled the gym which is a great amenity. I also love how pet friendly they are and their bark park is large with plenty of shade. We enjoy living here and would recommend it to our friends.

The leasing office was aware of it, but it was so bad my husband and I were going to take advantage of the 45-day guarantee policy while we searched for a new home to move into. I have asthma, but my son has multiple chronic complex conditions. We informed the front office there was no way we could move in there as a result. As we searched for a new place, Esmeralda gave us a call to look at a new apartment that recently became available. We had two options now - move into the new vacant spot once it's been cleaned or give the other one a chance as they continued to work on the smell. When I say Cortland Bayport outdid themselves they really did. The unit we decided to move into had more upgrades than the former and didn't smell like smoke. We did lose the water view, but breathing is far more important to us. They even gave it to us for the exact rate we were going to lease for and even (without our request) credit

Cortland Bayport is an awesome place to live. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The office staff is very kind and attentive. Cortland does lots of nice things for us like brunch by one of our 2 resort-style pools, Chic-Fil-A for breakfast, and birthday cards left on my door. These are nice little extras that you don't often find. I've lived here for 4 years and would highly recommend any Cortland Property based on the way this one is run.

I’ve been living here for a good year now. All I can say is, what a great choice for my move to Tampa, FL. The staff has been amazing, they are there to help with anything. They offer an APP where you can communicate with the community & much more! Plus the amenities are top tier. Multiple pools, gyms & clubhouses on site! I don't usually leave reviews, but I have to in case of Cortland Bayport as I have loved living here for more than 2 years now. The Community is well managed, and the staff is always working hard and promptly to ensure that the residents are having a peaceful stay. A recent service request for my apartment required an outside vendor to come in and fix a bad leak over the weekend. As I was having guests over that weekend, Pauline and Heidi were able to work with the vendor to re-prioritize the work and ensure that the issue was fixed ahead of original schedule leading to my guests having a pleasant visit. St Patty’s day party tonight is so fun! Dj playing great music, catered food which wow is sooooo good, good people around, I always come to Cortland Bayport’s party events alone and I never feel alone. The only downside is the rent. You're paying a lot for very little space and security isn't the most active. But there is a reason I put 4 stars. The maintenance is stellar and the office staff are kind and rarely flustered (from what I've seen) if you have ever lived somewhere were maintenance is no good, then you know the frustration. Anytime I've had an issue, they (maintenance and office) are solution orientated. They don't throw it back on you, they handle it. They call you back and they get it fixed.

The community events are great. I live on the older side an maintenance crew is phenomenal. They are always smiling and willing to go the extra mile. The office team checks in periodicaly which is a nice touch. The gym is great and open 24/7. Parking can be a little tight but its nice to have one assigned spot.

The staff here at Cortland Bayport had a social gathering on January 20, 2022. It was called, Wine and Cheese. I was absolutely impressed with all of the fruits, meats, cheeses and cracker trays... that were set up. It was beautiful! There were quite a few residents/staff members present. This was my first time to one of these. I was highly impressed and truly appreciated everyone who made this happen and look forward to more of these.

Overall can't complain. One of the best options in the area! Beautiful and spacious community with plenty of places to walk, nicest gym you'll find in an apartment complex. Maintenance has always been courteous and quick for high priority issues such as AC. The best way to log a ticket is on the online portal. To the person who was upset that they had to put a replacement filter in themselves - are you for real? At least they brought it to you. Most complexes you have to go get it from the leasing office. Checking your apartment before leasing should be a no brainer anywhere. I haven't encountered any mold issues but with burst pipes that can easily happen. It's also Florida and the AC and fan need to be run and windows shut in the summer due to the humidity outside. Management has been incredibly helpful when I've needed them. Parking is limited like most complexes. Every apartment gets one designated (numbered) spot. The visitor spots are not marked, and the extra resident spots are marked reserved instead

UPDATE as of 1/2022 So I’ve been living here several months now and wanted to update my review. They did replace my washer dryer with a cosmetically better looking set however it is still not the one I was shown and also makes really loud noises (washer only) when I run it. My upstairs neighbors does the same thing because I can hear it. HOWEVER, even with that being said I am very happy with the communication and effort put forth to at least get a better looking one in there. I’m changing my review from a three star to a 5 star mainly for the following: 1. The management team has ALWAYS gone above and beyond to make sure I’m happy. They communicate quickly, professionally, and happily. I don’t ever seem to bother them when I’ve had any questions or concerns. This goes for the maintenance team as well. Ive only needed maintenance a couple times for normal issues and they come take care of the problem FAST!! 2. I absolutely LOVE all the events they have. I visited the community and the team was very welcoming. Jennifer and Esmeralda took the time to answer all of my questions and show me units on both sides of the property so I could see what felt more like home. I really appreciated their genuine approach. The maintenance team was also very friendly and happy to help. Having access to two pools and two gyms is a plus and we even saw manatees while we toured. I am excited to get to call this place home soon!

I moved into this community one year ago for 15 months and just renewed my lease early for another 15 months. It is quiet, safe, and I have never had a problem. I had a few maintenance issues in the beginning, but they were resolved very quickly and at my convenience. The office staff is extremely nice to work with. Awesome pool and gym. And the ducks!!! Love the ducks!!! Can’t imagine living elsewhere.

Choosing Cortland Bayport to be our next home was hands-down an easy decision! This review is solely based off my experience with Rodolfo, and Alex Rodriguez the two maintenance staff members that are assigned to my building. Lets start with how remarkable they are. Extremely respectful and a pleasure to interact with. I work from home currently and they are so thoughtful and have figured out the "type of resident" I am and they cater to my needs so I am VERY VERY happy. They deserve so much credit for all of their hard work, they make sure they don't leave a mess and are quiet as possible in case I am on a call or in a meeting. They have even won my dog Tunde over. He loves them. I also like the fact that it is the same two staff members every time, it allows us to build trust and I know that my home and belongings are safe.

Therese Stemm, the leasing agent was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to help me lease my apartment from another state and I felt so confident with her that I submitted my deposit same day! She took me on a virtual tour and answered tons of questions, helped me with technical issues and was super nice to boot! What a great experience! I can't wait to move into my new apartment! The entire team was great at Bayport! Thanks Therese! Looking forward to meeting you in person real soon! Five Star Service!!!!! It’s a peaceful community with lots of trees and a little island surrounded by a lot of unique birds, ducks and turtles. Nice pool deck and gym. High ceilings on the second floor. I enjoy sitting on my Porch looking at the water.

Cortland Bayport has excellent handyman and they are great at getting service request completed the first time. I want to highlight Imier and Adrian, they were super courteous, took ownership of the issue and made sure to fix our dryer. These two gentlemen along with the rest of the repair crew are excellent and they deserve to be recognized.

I’m doing this review on the leasing consultant Gigi ! Without her assistance I probably wouldn't Of chose to move into these apartments. Gigi has a very warm welcoming spirit . Everytime I come into the office she’s always the first one the greet me which I love. During my tour of the community she was very patient showed me Multiple apartments without any hesitation. She hasn’t been working with this company long but I believe she’s A great asset to Cortland Bayport. If your interested in moving here I suggest working with Gigi she will make your experience memorable and will do her best to accommodate you in any way she can . My personal moving experience became a little stressful but Gigi definitely made sure it was worth it. My apartment was clean and ready for me to move in on time ! Just moved here and I’m loving my Apartment! Would like to take a moment and give a special shoutout to Yamily for her professionalism and helping me with the moving process. Always keeping me up to date regarding the application process and taking time out of her day for a Virtual/ In - Person Tour while fully answering my questions. Sunset views 🌇 are beautiful. Local shopping, dining and entertainment in Downtown Tampa are just around the corner! Not to mention the amenities it has to offer. My expectations have exceeded. I would Highly recommend Cortland Bayport to anyone looking forward to a great living experience at exceptional prices.

I highly recommend Cortland Bayport North. The property is beautiful and quiet. If I’ve had a need for maintenance, they always take care of my concern within 24 hours. There have even been times I’ve put in a request after hours and receive a call to assist the same evening. Adrian in maintenance has always been so kind and helpful! Heather and her team do a phenomenal job! Any requests or issues that arise, they are always quick to respond for solutions. I've lived in several apartments over the years and without question this is the best staff of all and it's not even close. With the large footprint/size of this community it really is amazing the work that they put in and I'm grateful that I can count on them. Not to mention the property is amazing with the new Island Walk fitness center and pool giving their amenities an edge over their peer communities.

This is such a great community and the staffs are so professional and understanding! During this COVID-19 pandemic, I was having difficulties paying my rent for the past 2 months and the staffs were so nice and understanding, they waived late fees for all residents. That just proved to me that they were not only a business corporation but also humans with real feelings and very considerate. I urge everyone to check out our Cortland Bayport community for a luxurious live and safe place to call a home!

I really appreciate the Immediate response when we put in service requests. I always feel as though Adrian addresses the issues I have and He goes above and beyond to help. During a service request call I noticed my cat was missing and not in my apartment and he immediately helped me search for and locate my cat. I was shocked that he went to such measures to help me out when he really didn’t have to. Just one example of how he goes the extra mile for people!

I’ve been a resident for about 8 months. I recently moved from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom Yamily, Teresa and Heather have made this transition so easy! The team has been super helpful especially going through this pandemic. Best team ever!

I have lived here since April of 2018 and by far it has been a great place to live. There have been major improvements to this property, from a new state of the art gym and pool area and new lighting on the decks and so much more. But the most recent is Ana Penaherrera she is the Community Manager from Cortland Property out of Orlando and now at their Tampa office and since her arrive here things have changed for the better. She is always friendly and willing to listen. But most importantly she GETS THINGS DONE! She cares about the residents and ensuring that we continue to have a great living experience with Cortland. Thanks you Ana so much for your hard work and for ensuring the standard that Cortland has set remains in place. If you are looking for a great place to live, Cortland Bayport is it.

I really want to thank Fernando, our pest control/ maintenance professional. He was both quiet and thorough with his services. ( This is important as I work at home) He also returned when he said he would. Not all of the professionals entering our home is as courteous as Fernando.

The maintenance staff in the complex always provide prompt, courteous and professional services. An excellent example is Adrian, who promptly and courteously answered a service call I made around 9:30 PM, as the A/C stop working. He identified the problem and fixed it in less than an hour. He went the extra mile and called me around 7:30 the next morning to make sure that it was working and the apartment was cool; that's quality service.

Cortland is a great place to live. Been there for 6 months and no complaints at all. Staff is friendly, amenities are great and central locations. The maintenance staff is amazing, Richard is my guy and gets any service request done ASAP and is super friendly! Recommend anyone to check it out if you're looking to rent in a great community.

I have lived here for 1 1/2 years. During that time all of my service requests have been answered promptly and professionally. I have also frequented the office to say hello and chat with the staff. Teresa and Yamily have always been most hospitable and have been able to answer any questions I have had.

One of the best experiences I’ve had with housing in Florida. Particularly maintenance staff and even more particularly when my air conditioning system went down and Richard took not only complete control but worked earnestly in coordination with the HVAC company and me to lessen what could have been a major situation. Richard is polite and competent and an asset to Cortland. Thank You!!!

We have been at Cortland for a couple Of months and so far we’ve had an amazing experience. Liz helped us find our current apartment and she made sure that we felt at home. Everyone from the office is super nice and friendly and they make sure to take the time to help with whatever you need Maintenance is also great, you can submit a request and it will be fulfilled in like a day or two The amenities are also great, overall is a nice community that makes you feel at home 10/10 would recommend

I have only been here for 7 months but my experience has been so awesome. The office was so welcoming and I love having a den space. My neighbors are friendly and everyone has dogs. It’s close to work. I like the scenery when walking when my dog. The amenities are great, fitness centers and pools. Maintenance takes care of every request, big or small. Rich especially was very helpful when I moved in. He had to come back a couple of times and offered different options. I love it here!

Since my roommate and I first visited, we had the pleasure of working with Liz to figure out if this is the right place for us. We were torn between the north and south properties at the beginning of the COVID pandemic, and Liz was super accommodating to let us view the apartments again. Since we've moved in we've borderline bombarded her with our questions, and she has never let us down. Our neighbors in the North can be... entitled, and lack the common sense to clean up after their pets (even in the buildings/hallways) but the office staff is professional, and happy to help with anything you need. We love living here (it's been 2.5 months)

Love this place! it's quiet never any problems and neighbors are friendly, Pet friendly community and Our maintenance friend Richie always has us covered with same day fixes if not next day for sure he is there! which is a major key for any apartment complex luckly he is on our side. Cortland Bayport is a stunning apartment complex with beautiful amenities. The leasing agents are extremely polite and will answer all your questions. They went out of their way to help with our tour and assist with our odd down payment situation. I would gladly recommend this complex to any friends in the area.

Therese and Denise have been great and very helpful in making our move-in process stress free. The moment we toured the townhome we knew we had to have it, It’s beautiful!!! The property is great. We haven’t had a chance to explore too much as we just moved in a few weeks ago and are getting settled but so far things are going very well.

I have written a few reviews over the years because long term tenants really get to know the property. In the last few months we have experienced times like we have never know before. With Covid and the unstable economy housing has really been a worry on everyone's mind. I want to compliment Cortland once again on not just treating the tenants as a source of income but truly as family. In particular I'd like to give a shout out to Denise Vazquez. I work for a major cruise line and all of my income came to a screeching halt March 27th. I called the office to explain through hysterical tears. I was met with nothing but kindness. I never felt my housing was in jeopardy, I simply felt taken care of. I'd like to thank the entire Cortland office staff and maintenance for being so awesome and especially Denise for helping to guide me calmly through this difficult time. I truly appreciate it.

I have been living at Cortland Bayport North for 3 years and have loved every minute of it. They are fast and responsive with any request you make. Even supplied me with some paint for me to touch up my walls and pretty much anything I ask for within reason they provide. The fact that they do monthly events for residents, fitness classes, etc. blows my mind considering I’ve lived in 5 different apartment communities since moving to Florida and have never experienced that. But what I love MOST is the staff. Therese specifically is the sweetest most helpful woman. You can tell she cares and if you need help with something that goes beyond what she can do she will find a way to get you to the right person. Her and many of the other ladies and maintenance men are probably the greatest reason I love being here aside from the community that you can tell is monitored and cared for.

The property management was by far the best I have ever worked with. I am honestly sad to be leaving!!
