I lived at Cortland Brighton Bay for 14 months and absolutely loved it. I utilized the pool, dog park, fitness center, the business center, and the coffee machine in the leasing office. Maintenance staff was always quick, nice, and on point. I only had to request service twice. The complex is quiet and the neighborhood down the street is nice to walk in. The community was great, friendly residents.

I have been living in this community since 2017, and I cannot find a single flaw in my experience. The grounds are always beautifully maintained, and the maintenance staff is exceptional, going above and beyond every time I have requested their help. The front office staff is also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciate everything that the community staff does to make our living experience comfortable and enjoyable!

I’ve lived at Cortland Brighton Bay for almost a year now. It’s a beautiful and peaceful place. I have a problem with roaches possibly coming through cracks from the front door and the management team has fixed the door. I still find dead roaches but not as many as before. Hopefully the pest control will take care of the problem. I truly appreciate the management team and Madi Morris for always taking care of my needs right away.

I was looking and looking and looking, touring apartment after apartment, and no one gave me quite the experience that Cortland Brighton Bay did. It was my 3rd tour of the day, and I fell in love. My leasing agent Liz, she was PHENOMENAL. I have had several things get in my way of moving after already paying for my application and Liz has never hesitated to help! They were able to accommodate a last minute apartment change due to me being summoned for Jury duty and when I got laid off and informed Liz that I no longer could move at this time, they opted to move me to a waiting list so that it would keep my application active in the system and I didn't have to go through the whole process again. 10 out of 10 recommend this apartment, and 10 out of 10 recommend Liz! I am looking forward to getting everything back on track and continuing my move to Cortland Brighton Bay in St. Pete!

It’s a great experience living here. The office staff, especially Maddie and Liz are fantastic. There are great activities and amenities to enjoy. I especially love the food trucks because they give you a chance to try foods that you might not think about while you’re driving around searching for dinner.

We have had a great experience so far here at Cortland Brighton Bay. My boyfriend received an amazing job offer in this area that we didn't want to pass up, however they gave us a 2 week window to make a decision, which did not leave us any time at all to travel and check places out. Considering that, at the time, we lived across the country, we were going in pretty blind and it was one of the scariest things I have ever done! I got into contact with Millie and she was amazing. She took the time to answer every question/concern that I had and was incredibly informative and kind through the whole process. She just rose above all other options every time and made me feel truly secure in my decision. Upon our arrival, I was not disappointed, this place is beautiful and well maintained. I highly recommend this apartment complex. The community here is phenomenal, and I just love the St Pete area so much. The location is 10/10. We are 15 minutes from downtown Tampa; 15 minutes from downtown St Pete; and 25 minutes from the beach. My fiancé and I have made so many friends here through all of the community events the Cortland team puts on for us. The staff are always so welcoming and I know them by name. The grounds here are beautiful and the maintenance personnel are very professional and top notch. Marcos who know longer works here gave us a cat ramp for our kitties and was very kind. We’ve had mini issues with our A/C unit and Mike, who is a new member to the maintenance team just came to our apartment to troubleshoot the issues and he was SO thorough and diligent. I really appreciate the time he took to make sure the issue was fixed and how well he explained the issue to me. He was also extremely professional. Thank you, Mike!!! Our experience at Cortland Brighton Bay has been amazing. We were homeless to some degree, after moving our daughter here recently and looking for a place ourselves. When one of our options fell thru, Millie at CBB helped us out and has been fantastic to work with, as well as Maddy and Liz! The maintenance guys, Andy and Jose were right on our move in repairs; taking the extra steps this house feels like home. Its an older facility, but in great shape and the people here are amazing! Definitely worth it!

It's a great place to stay. I work for Raymond James and is super close to office. The best thing I like about the apartment is that the room height. It is a high ceiling compared to apartments in the neighborhood. It makes the apartment feel so spacious, even one bedrooms. All the amenities are kept really well maintained. Maintenance team is also very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff make it a point we residents have a pleasant stay. They conduct events and parties every now and then. The community residents being very good and to themselves adds up to a wonderful time. They also have a car wash spot in the compound which I love.

I have been here for 6 months and so far the staff in the clubhouse and the maintenance people and the apartment itself and the grounds have been excellent. The pool and all the grounds are very well kept and it feels and has been completely safe anytime of the day or night. We have needed maintenance on a few occasions and the response each time was quick, effective and very friendly. I have no complaints and lots of thanks for the apartment and the service which has been above and beyond.

After searching and viewing over 20 homes in the nearby area. We walked in and instantly were welcomed by Yamily. She was very supportive and gave insight that felt we were already at home. It was a very easy decision because of her to move forward with the decision on this apartment. Very polite and attentive staff. Easy access to Tampa and St. Pete. No-hassle parking. Nice, clean community facilities. I was initially very hesitant to return to an apartment setting as I've had poor experiences with apartment management in the past, but Cortland Brighton Bay has easily risen above my expectations and I intend to stay for quite some time as long as conditions remain this good.

I love living here. The apartment floor plans are great, so many closets! Tall ceilings, some arched doorways, and even fireplaces on the third floor. The apartments have a lot of charm. My dogs love going on walks here, my neighbors have been so kind and friendly, and the front office staff is fantastic.

Our experience so far has been great. Landscape is kept well, pool and gym are great. Front desk has been helpful. I like that food trucks come. Maybe add another dumpster in the complex but other than that, it’s been good.

Moving to Cortland Brighton Bay from a cold state up north was a wonderful experience! From the moment my family and I arrived we were met with friendly service and great neighbors. Madi at the front office has been extremely kind and helpful whenever we need help with anything. Any issues that come up are quickly addressed and resolved. We are just as happy as when we arrived two years ago. We have felt very safe in the area and our dog has loved making new friends! I definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a nice community in the St Pete/Tampa area to give Cortland Brighton Bay a try. Don’t forget to ask for Madi!

I lived at Cortland for 2.5 years and just moved out. Always felt safe, despite the gates not working (I believe they started working a few days after I moved, and was finally able to enjoy the new gazebo before I left. There are definitely pros and cons to all places but I could not have been happier that I chose to live at Cortland. The office staff and is friendly, maintenence was always spot on in terms of time to complete orders, and all staff were definitely animal lovers. My dog Kila loveddd to try to pull me to the office when we would pass on our walks to go say hi to the staff. I Would definitely like to shout out Crystalline (I hope i'm spelling that right) and the maintenance manager. They both were always very helpful, kind, and attempted to fix any issues I had in a timely manner. Sad I left but so happy that I spent my first few years in Florida there.

I have been living here for about 6 months and my experience has been fantastic. The complex is in a beautiful area and is centrally located in Tampa Bay so it is easy to get around. There's plenty of parking and it's first come/serve so guests can get spots easily without worrying about getting towed. The ceilings are 10ft+ in all apartments and appliances are updated. Maintenance is incredibly efficient and I have never had an open request for more than 2 days. When I first moved in there was actually an issue with their contracted cleaning service so my apartment was not clean when I arrived. The office made sure my unit was cleaned right away and I was able to get all of my maintenance concerns handled in the first three days of me living there. To make up the inconvenience the office comped my first week or so of rent without me having to ask, which was a great sign. When I first visited this complex two years ago, I knew within 30 seconds that I would lease here. My experience in the leasing office was the most pleasant I'd ever had. The apartment staff assists me with all kinds of stuff that makes my life much easier (changing A/C filters, light bulbs, etc.). One staff member even moved my car for me while I was gone so it wouldn't get towed during parking lot maintenance. The property is beautiful. The area is quiet. The residents are polite. I was not incentivized to write this review. I only felt compelled to write some kind words because Cortland and the staff here deserve some positive comments after all they've done for me.

I lived at Cortland Brighton Bay for around 7 months before moving away. I've looked at tons of apartments in St Petersburg, mainly similar price or cheaper, and if you're looking for the most for the price this is the best you can get. Other Cortland properties are slightly more expensive and this one is better and cheaper. Spend the extra $100-200/m to come here instead of a cheaper option if you're able to. The leasing team has always been great, the pool area is super nice in front of the pond, and the property is always upkept well. The maintenance team is the absolute best.

Lived here for almost 3 years and overall it was pretty nice. But like all places one lives it has its pros and cons, however with this complex thankfully there are more pros than cons. Amenities are always clean and up to date, the pool is beautiful and they just updated the other side of the “pond” with a new beautiful grill. I have always felt safe here as a female and have walked by myself day and night with no issues. The community and area are nice to walk around, which is a plus if you have a fur baby its a very pupper friendly community. Additionally apartments are not outdated and look nice. My only cons are that parking can be a hit or miss depending on what building you live in. Also staff overall (all staff both previous and new) need to work on internal communication better. I do recommend living here, great location to all things local, amenities are nice, community is clean, and safe.

Cortland is a very accommodating community. Everyone is friendly, parking is ample, and our pool area is gorgeous. The complex seems safe and I highly recommend!

Moving here was such a breath of fresh air! Millie our leasing consultant was so helpful and always made us feel like we were the only ones she was helping, something I know that can be hard to do! The move in process was so easy and I felt so welcomed. I love my new apartment. It is so nice and they have come to quickly fix any minor issues that come with getting a new apartment. The grounds are so well kept and the pool area is so nice. I would recommend this apartment complex to absolutely everyone. I love living here!

Got charged for replacing the carpet when no stains were present due to "odor" that did not exist. Overall convenient location and nice complex to live but be careful about move out charges Update: Cortland has resolved this issue. Thanks!

Cortland at Brighton Bay was great when we moved in but the management continues to make improvements around the property. The grounds are always very clean. The office staff are wonderful. There are often community events that are fun and worthwhile, we look forward to connecting with neighbors at these. Communication to residents is very timely and appropriate. My husband, toddler and I have been here 16 months and we love it.

I recently was planning a move from NJ to the Tampa area. I didn't know where I would live but I knew I needed to be in the vicinity of Tampa, St. Pete, and Clearwater. After months and months of research, I contacted CBB and was greeted by Mily. Right off the bat, Mily was transparent, understanding and compassionate. Mily understood that this move was very stressful for me. She took her time sending me pictures and answering my thousand calls and emails. Fast forward to move in day, we pulled into the complex and I was immediately impressed with the grounds and how beautiful everything was! I got the keys and opened up my door and was immediately overwhelmed with how nice and clean my apartment was! I am in love and I know wholeheartedly that I made the right decision for me and my dog Kaia. I couldn't be happier and I am super grateful. BIG thank you to Mily and CBB!

Brighton Bay has it all!! Let’s just say they the best spacious bark park divided for small and large dogs, car wash station and very clean community. The finishes are great and apartments are super spacious. Feels like you are in you little island, such a quiet area, perfect for walking and great restaurants by the area. Customer service is on point and shout out to the super ladies in the team Melissa, Kelly, Liz and Millie. Service team is also amazing Tom and Micheal get things down before you know it ! Amazing property .

Moving from NJ to FL without having the ability to visit in person during our apartment search due to the pandemic was nerve racking. Safety, accessibility, affordability were most important to us. I contacted Liz at the office for more information and I’m so grateful for all her help in assuring us we would have everything we needed. She walked us through the move in process step by step, went above and beyond, and was very transparent about everything! She made us feel like prt of the community even before we got here! My situation was very unique. My partner and I moved from out of state, we viewed the apartments both virtually and in person back in June 2020. We weren’t sold at first, the apartment came across our news feeds once more in October, we decided to take a second look. Liz Donoian was incredible, she insisted going above and beyond with her virtual tour. Showing my partner and I the apartment once again. Her outstanding attitude gave us hope, she has been amazingly friendly. I would recommend this property to any one. I moved from another state and was SO nervous moving into a place site unseen essentially. I worked with Liz from the beginning to the end of the process. Liz was by far the most incredible person to work with. She made the transition so so so easy and no stress. This could have been a very stressful move. Liz made it everything but that! Thank You Liz for the incredible move in process and follow up on everything. Definitely recommend this property and Liz. She definitely sold the place and knows what she is doing. From July 2020-January I was traveling in healthcare. I was constantly in and out of hotels. I was originally supposed to move into student housing but due to an emergency and battling covid, I was off work for 7 weeks from November 9th until mid December. And i lost the apartment. I went in apartment finder, and I found the Cortland. And I have never been to pleased with such amazing service. Especially Mrs. Rebecca Coursey, one of their very own Lessing agents. They are so humble, and so friendly. It makes me feel like I am at home, even more! I am 1000 miles away from my family. And I love the fact, that when I come here, I am home. I highly recommend this place. And the hospitality and amenities are so great. You will be very pleased! I am so glad I found this place. I highly recommend it. ❤️

Just moved in to Cortland Brighton Bay and am so pleased! I just moved from Ohio and was not familiar with the St. Petersburg area. I toured 8 apartment complexes and picked Cortland Brighton Bay because of my leasing agent Rebecca Coursey, the updated apartments, and the beautiful location. Rebecca and the rest of the office staff hands down were the most friendly and professional staff that I dealt with during my selection process, and like I said, I toured so many apartment complexes. Very happy with my choice!

Rebecca, Melissa, Sandra, and Anthony have been amazing. Maintenance is also very quick to fix any issues I have and they also leave such a lovely note behind explaining what was done which is actually very comforting to not only know who was in your apartment but they leave the notes of what was completed. They are STELLAR! The entire office staff has gone above and beyond to accommodate me. I'm currently getting ready to transfer to a different apartment within the community and everyone goes out of their way to make sure to take care of you. Not to mention, the apartments are so lovely, upgraded. Neighbors are friendly. I love living here and I'm sure you would like it to!

I am just rating my inquiry and application process. 5 stars! Everyone I spoke with was nice. I would like to highlight Rebecca Coursey, who was extremely helpful and informative. She is the best leasing consultant I have had. i have lived in 5 different apartments (and dealt with so many more leasing agents). I had some hesitations and reservations on taking the leap to apply; she remained honest and wasn't afraid to tell me she would get back to me with the best answer (a lot of other agents have lied to get me to sign). I applied and look forward to continuing to work with her. She is an amazing face for the complex and deserves all the kudos from me!
