I had a meeting with Britany Rains at this property. She was excellent. she was actually scheduled for a meeting with another client but she went above and beyond and helped me with all of the questions that I had and all of the needs that I needed to get the best information possible for this property. she was very knowledgeable and very open and forthcoming with information. I felt that I could trust her and I felt that she really wanted to help me find the best place possible for me. even though I was a little bit looking for the place that I needed it. She still took the time out gave me her undivided attention, even if she didn't have anything for me at the time I wish there were more agents like this. .

We’ve recently moved into Winthrop West about a week ago & by far the most pleasant experience ever! The neighborhood is super quiet & the fact that they are pet friendly was a plus for our fur baby! Both Brittany’s in the office are amazing made the process of moving in a breeze when we first moved in we had a hiccup with our oven racks but they were on it within mins Brittany was at our door with the racks. We never had to be place on hold their response times for answering the phones & emails are super quick! Absolutely happy with the whole process from start to finish.

My brother stays here and I am relocating back to this area in about a month. Both “Brittney” girls in the office made me feel at home right away. Had a chance to meet some maintenance guys when they took care of my brother’s beeping smoke alarm. Like you ordered jimmy Johns. Super fast! feels unreal how easy being here seems because of what they do for you. like replace normal lights and AC filters regularly. Such a big difference from where I live now. I recommend 100 percent and already signed up for my new apartment next month.

Call me crazy… but Winthrop West has the BEST pickleball courts in the area. I love this sport so much and am so thankful to have this amenity so close to my apartment. I am a resident of Cortland/Winthrop west apartments for a little over a year now, I absolutely love it!! To start the service manager, Anthony and his maintenance crew are the best.They are quick, and very respectful as well as getting every job done as soon as possible. The Girls in the office are helpful ,kind, caring. Heather is the manager and she makes the community welcoming. Brittany hosts the bingo nights and the paint and sips and all the other events. The parties are awesome and we always have a great time, pics to follow. Cassie is very welcoming and nice. Always smiling and ready to go, a leasing guru! You will love it here!

Staff is very friendly and it has been quiet so far. We have been here almost a month now. It is a great location, you are near everything! We had issues so far that are maintenance related but most were solved the next business day. There were things broken or not working when we moved in. If a cleaning crew came in they did not thoroughly cleaned. I'm not sure of the state of the unit before the last tenant left to know if they cleaned anything at all. The lint trap in the dryer was so full it was almost stuck in the dryer and dog hair was caked on some of the doors and on the ceiling fans. There is dust on the vent in the bathroom that the painters just sprayed over it. I am glad maintenance got these things fixed right away. Other than the issues we have had it has been great place. The gym needs to be updated or the equipment needs fixed/replaced.

I recently came to this community I must admit I was very impressed by the veiw coming from Texas I haven't seen this much florage. Upon entering the grounds they were very well kept very clean. The units were very well maintained and welcoming. I came from a horribly, mismanaged property down the street. Winthrop West has redeemed my faith in good people.the PM ladies are so wonderful and I pray to God all 3 of them and the maintenance team stay! The team knows their residents, provide weekly, monthly and seasonal community events. The pm staff are professional and very positive in working with residents to make sure each tenant quickly has what they need. This is a rare environment! Neighbors are friendly and speak and dog owners are very responsible in picking up after their dog. The apartments are well maintained and quiet. Very well managed property. So very glad I chose to live here.

I moved in less than a week ago and I've enjoyed every minute living here. The management staff is great Jessica, Cassie and Brittany did an amazing job making sure me and my family were moved in and felt welcomed. The complex is clean, quite and has some really nice admenitites. The location is within walking distance from almost anything you may need Walmart, Publix, Resturants and differnt parks . They also do special things for the renties like food trucks, dog walking clubs and others. Anyone would be happy to call Winthrop West home.

The property has a new manager. She brings a lot of energy and enjoys interacting with the residents. She does not sit behind closed doors as the previous manager had. Cortland has also brought on a new maintenance supervisor. He also has great energy and has made a commitment to bring the property up to Cortland standards. There are plans for adding a fourth member to the maintenance team. This will be a positive move in keeping the property up. The changes recently made in staffing have already shown to be a great plus for the property as compared to previous. If the trend continues I will definitely return to referring family and friends to the property.

Cassie at Winthrop West did a great job when we stopped in for a tour! We did not have an appointment but she immediately sat down with us and helped us to decide which floor plan fit our needs. She explained the leasing process thoroughly and was very transparent about what the apartment has to offer. Although we decided to choose a different property due to proximity to work, Cassie was an amazing representative - knowledgeable, friendly, and patient answering all of our questions. Thank you!!

So far so good! I’ve transferred from a very bad apartment complex that didn’t wanna help me fix my maintenance issues for over 2 years and once I’ve moved here everything has been fixed asap and they staff is AMAZING! Brittany has been so helpful to me and my mom for our move in! And Jessica as well they both have been checking up on us and making sure everything is ok! I really appreciate this apartment complex for families I strongly recommend they have everything here! Again thank you guys for all the hard work you do to accommodate your residents we really appreciate it! ❤️

The management team is involved with the tenants, which is so sweet. Whenever we need maintenance, they’re on it. We have so many events like poolside yoga or pet meet-ups. And some that pertain to holidays, of course. We have a Mother’s Day “Muffins and Mimosas” party coming up and each mother gets a free succulent. Are you kidding me? How can you not love that? They supply doggy pick up bags and trash stations to pick up after your pet. It’s great. They even have a trash service for everyone to have their trash bin emptied. All you have to do is leave it on your front step. Lemme tell ya, I appreciate that after a day of hard work. Management’s effort shows and it’s comforting to know that they care.

Since Cortland took over the property everything has improved dramatically. I have lived here for years under countless property management companies and finally things are the way they should be. I have lived here for about 7 or 8 years and been through countless management companies but no one has been as great as Cortland. They truly care about the property and the residents and go above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy. The property hasn't looked this great in years. I’ve been at the complex for five months now. The staff has always been friendly and very easy to approach. In particular, Ms. Brittany. She’s a ball of joy and a ray of sunshine. She always engages with all residents and staff with an upbeat and positive attitude. It’s refreshing. She exceeds all expectations if a staff member. Very knowledgeable as well. I was assisted by her and Jaleel of the maintenance staff. My vehicle’s battery died right in front of the office while getting mail. They gave me a jump and kept my mind at peace during a stressful time (as I was running late). They are both a joy. New management has shown the same type of friendliness.

03/15/2023 was my move-in date and I have to say, Brittany has made this entire process such a pleasure! She has really went above and beyond to make sure any questions or concerns were satisfied. I moved in almost 3 weeks ago and honestly at first I thought I made a huge mistake. The oven door was literally falling off its hinges. The ice maker didn’t work washing machine didn’t work dryer took 3 hrs to dry. BUT. All my concerns have been addressed in a very timely manor. It’s very quiet here and I love that. The staff is amazing , especially Brittney. I look forward to meeting my neighbors. The only complaint I have is whoever painted my apartment, left paint splatters EVERYWHERE. But yes I would definitely recommend living here. Oops just realized my last name is wrong on google. Last name is Silva

I have been a resident since 2021. This property has undergone a new management takeover in my time living here. The majority of times, when apartments are bought out, you deal with incomplete people and employee turnover. NOT HERE! Between Daniel Lopez's maintenance supervisor and Brittany, the leasing consultant, this property earned me that as a resident, I am not just another resident. They go above and beyond for this community and ensure they have a smile while doing it. These are the type of employees companies NEED! Hannah greeted us very warmly, especially considering we were a last minute walk-in tour! All of our questions were answered in a very easy to understand way and the actual tour was top-tier! Especially the ‘wow fridge’ in the apartment. The tour itself was very thorough and we were extremely amazed by the property. I moved from Ohio to Riverview almost 40 years ago and have been living here at Winthrop for 20. I absolutely love living here and have seen so many changes along the way. One thing has remained constant, this beautiful paradise I call home. I have always felt safe and I love watching all the wildlife. I would love to live here forever! I had the pleasure of meeting the new staff( thank you Jessica and the team!) I would recommend anyone moving to this area check us out! Very family and pet friendly.

For those who read reviews, the negative reviews of Winthrop West Apartments are all from 2016 or earlier. That staff is gone! The current staff is awesome. I highly recommend you call them and get to know them. We did and are loving the experience.

I've been living here for about 6 years. In the last four years Daniel and his staff been the best. If need to ask a question about something minor in my apartment unit or something major they try their best to get it done as quickly as possible. Sometime there come fix one thing and something else goes wrong and they work on it right away. One thing I can always say they never tell me no they can't do something they always say let me see what I can do to get it done. Daniel has been an excellent manager over his team and I see he brought in a newcomer this year. I see one of his team is leaving that have been a good in our community as well.

Daniel & Luis are always super respectful & helpful. They always go above and beyond to make sure everything in my apartment is okay. Literally the BEST Maintenance I've ever had in a community! 1000000 stars if I could. Brittany In the office always Goes above and beyond to help with any questions or concerns that come up. Everyone in the office is very understanding and all for the people. Love the new company Cortland and everyone that came With them!!!

Being at Winthrop West is like being on vacation. The community is quiet, and safe. One special feature is that it is within walking distance of at least 12 restaurants and several supermarket chains. Several parks and public buses are also a short distance away..

I have lived here over two years now. I have enjoyed my stay. I like that there are people here that will take care of anything I need. Maintenance is always available if there are any problems. If I have any questions Cindy is always there to give me answers. All of this and the location can't be beat! Everything one would need is within walking distance.

I had a concern about black mold in my apartment. I emailed Brandi who was acting manager for our residence at the time. She immediately sent a crew and the maintenance team to investigate. They replaced my AC unit and cleaned my vents, they also repainted all of the discolored vents. Maintenance is always kind and professional, there are only 3 of them right now and they do the best to come in a timely manner. My advice is to stop calling the main office (they never answer anyway) and reach directly to a manger via email or phone or just flag them down if you see them. They will usually take a few minutes to check out the unit really quickly before giving their opinion. Daniel has always made sure to call before he entered the home and if someone new was dropping by he made sure to give me a heads up with an accurate description so I was comfortable. Living here hasn’t been all bad, it’s been kind to me and they’ve gotten better under new management. :)
