Chauncee and Marlena are the best leasing and front desk personnel you could ask for. Marlena was very helpful with not only my move-in but also with my establishing residency in Texas. She answered my questions about picking an electric provider and let me know the information Cortland would need from me. She provided me with copies of information that I would need to establish my residency in Texas as well. She is extremely friendly and was very patient in answering all my questions. Chauncee showed me my unit and walked me through the application process, answering all my questions and provided technical assistance as well. He was friendly and patient throughout the entire process, even after showing multiple units to me. When an unexpected change occurred in the original unit I was going to lease, he switched me to a new unit and made the process seamless. Amazing staff, amazing management, and amazing place! I already miss living there. I was a resident for 1 year and Chauncee, Logan, Marlene and the team made living here a dream. All my maintenance requests were completed immediately and with quality as well as other request above and beyond what the office staffs’ job is. I was pleasantly surprised with the property from the day I visited and took a tour. What really captured my eye was the decor which is modern, simple and very functional. The location is also perfect.along with nearby shopping and a great park for walking/biking, tennis, etc... I must also add that the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, especially Sabrina Romero. Not a single inquiry was ever left unanswered. The property is very clean, as I am always seeing the staff constantly cleaning. The amenities are of high quality from the workout room, pool table, meeting center, outdoor patio, secure bicycle room and even the dog spa. Overall, I am very satisfied and will continue to recommend this place to others.

This is such a beautiful community! The pool, the gym, the leasing office, the grounds, it's gated, it's literally everything! Chauncee showed us around, he was very professional and personable. I love the little trolley cars they use to maneuver around the community. I wish the floor plan we were interested in was available. It's very close to DFW but didn't seem to be too noisy. We will definitely keep this place in mind, and now I see why they have almost a 5 star rating!

I’ve been a tenant for four years, I’ve lived in 3 different units. First was 3/2 with 1 car garage second floor, than 3/2 with 2 car garage but the garage was so huge we could fit 3 cars inside and 3 outside when we had guest over. Now I’m in a 2/2 no garage all the units are very spacious and updated. New manager has really been fixing previous issues that were left unfinished by the old manager. Property is well maintained,very quiet and safe. Now I will say it’s expensive to live here but it’s worth it. Chauncey is my favorite leasing agent very professional and we’re going to have a good laugh every time we see one another. 10 out of 10 I recommend

I recently relocated to Irving, Tx because of a job opportunity in nearby Arlington. My family and I had a limited transition time to move, but Chauncee dealt with paperwork and the business side of things as optimistically and efficiently as possible. With a smile, he greeted us and placed us in a beautiful, aesthetic 3 bed 2 bath 1482 - 1552 sq apartment that we can now call our home. If you’re looking for a nice spot in the middle of DFW, Cortland is probably one of the best. They do a great job of making their residents feel like they matter. Technical difficulties and maintenance is always going to be an issue anywhere you go. But at Cortland they do a great job of making it their priority to get it done. Many of the staff are great people, when my AC went out, one of the staff, Edgar, was there as soon as I called. Overall a great place to stay in the DFW

I’ve been living here for 3mo and have had a great experience with the management team and maintenance workers. I will say the portal to submit work orders isn’t the best, but if you find a maintenance worker, they’ll always help if you ask. The best by far is Edgar and Jose. I asked if they could lay some pipe for me ( on separate occasions) and it was done no hesitation. I was very satisfied after the pipe was laid. 😉

I was a little nervous when looking for a place, everything was so overwhelming. That all changed after taking a tour of the place. Lucky for me, I got to tour with Chauncee and he did an amazing job of showing me around. He was very helpful in answering my questions (which I had a lot) and he was very knowledgeable about everything I needed to know. If you’re on the fence about the place, take a tour and see for yourself you won’t be disappointed!

Writing this review not entirely out if guilt lol but more so to shine light on an AMAZING employee Chauncee? Not too good with names, but I’ve Had 2 hours of sleep in the last 2 days and i was very dry and annoyed with life and i couldve been a more decent person to engage with but Chauncee? Was 100% professional and didnt allow my mood to deteriorate his nor his character!! Sorry to him if i was any bother and not as pleasant as i could be!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cortland Walnut Hill Apartments and it was an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. The apartments themselves were modern and spacious I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the furnishings. The kitchen was fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances. The location of Cortland Walnut Hill Apartments is also a huge plus. It's conveniently located near shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment venues, making it easy to get out and explore the area. I have seen other Cortland properties but this has to be the best one. Overall, I would highly recommend Cortland Walnut Hill Apartments to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious living experience. The staff, amenities, and location are all top-notch, and I can't wait to come back for another stay.

This is my home, for now. An older property, but it was remodeled in 2019. A large complex with pool, fitness center, business center, community center. A good mix of residents.The Wednesday gatherings are an excellent opportunity for the residents and the management staff to come together.

I’ve been in a long search for apartments in this area and came across this phenomenal apartment complex on my commute. I am so glad I went with my gut and decided to set up an appointment for a tour. The staff alone was really great. I was not excited to move to Texas until I came across this complex. UGHHH WOW! The area-BEAUTIFUL! The building-BEAUTIFUL! And the consultant-BEAUTIFUL! Chauncee not only made my leasing process a reflief but he was also funny. He kept saying “flewed” which made me tickle pink and I’m nowhere near the color pink. HA HA LOL 👍🏾

My husband and I have been here ironically since the day Covid-19 started. This is our blessing of a retreat to call home compared to where we lived before. Our Leasing and Management staff that we had (Johnathon, Jasmin, Hannah and Chelsea) and currently have (Genesis, Chauncey, Johnathon and Clayton) along with maintenance crew does their diligence to answer, assist, correct and fix what they can with a smile. I've lived here for over a year, and I can honestly say that these apartments are very quick on maintenance requests the rent is very manageable and best of all they have a number of payment options that can help you if you have any Financial issues paying rent I think that the payment options these Apts offers are revolutionary to the whole renting process. I've rented from many different complexes and I can say that this one was the most manageable as well as assisting. The staff is very friendly and courteous we will probably be here for another year since my kids love the area and the school district.

It’s a pretty nice complex that has made several upgrades during my short stay here, including a dog park and adding stone paths to an area I like to walk around. Communication with management and maintenance is not the best but they have good attitudes for the most part. Nice amenities and furnishings, convenient location off of 161, but be wary of warning guests that they’re vigilant about towing.

This apartment complex is old but renovated. It is a well kept community. I always see in the morning the maintenance people picking up trash from the bins outside each unit and the grounds/parking lot area. My husband and I have lived here for about 2 yrs. The office staff is very professional and courteous, though sometimes it is kinda hard to talk to someone when calling the office. The maintenance personel especially Jose is the absolute best. Every single time I put in a work order/request, it is resolved within 12 hrs. Jose will listen to your concerns and will do his best to fix it. Parking is limited and every night, there is a towing truck that checks for tags/stickers and tow the ones that don't have it. Some tenants do not like this but I do like it. Making sure that all vehicles are authorized to park not only helps the tenants have a parking spot but it is also for safety and security of the community. edited: Just want to add to the management, please fix the light by the gate/callbox. I've had an excellent experience with this apartment complex. This was my first apartment home, and Adony (the leasing agent) has been exceptionally helpful. He answered any and all questions I had in the moving process and made moving into my apartment extremely easy. I really appreciated him answering my questions, even when he was working at another Cortland location that day. I also really enjoy the amenities the complex offers, and my favorite bonus feature is the trash bins outside each apartment home so that your trash isn't flooding the hallway. Overall, I am glad I made the choice to move in here and would recommend this location to anyone looking for a new apartment home!

I toured at this complex a while back and I absolutely loved it! Definitely one of the nicer properties in the area. The office staff was very helpful and it looked well kept. The floor plans were also very nice. I still have a bit until I have to move, but this is definitely at the top of my list.

Been here for about 8 months. No place is perfect, but this one is great. The only issue is the main gates are always broken. They're broken more often than not. It's the residents that ram them. The leasing team and maintenance team are great and always respond to service requests within 1 day or 2.

Recently moved in this community. Right from touring this community the staff have been very welcoming and warming. Adony was our leasing agent and he made our move in very smooth. Its been week we are here now and I am loving this place. When I moved in had few issues in the apartment but maintenance team took care of it within a day. Looking forward for my stay.

My fiancé and I moved in last year and our lease is about to end soon. In the beginning, we had complications. The apartment wasn’t even clean when we moved in and had other problems along the way. However, the maintenance staff were always on top of it along with the leasing staff. Because of this, we didn't mind it as long as it was fixed. Overall, the customer service is amazing and for the price it was good. No apartment complex is perfect and I’d say this specific apartment complex is very good. If I do lease again, it’d be with Cortland. ☺️

I just recently moved into this complex last month and it started off amazing. The staff was really friendly and maintenance would show up for anything that needed to be done in a timely manner. I love the location as well. However, over time I started having critters appear in my apartment. I know it's normal but they started appearing more frequently. I am terrified of these critters (aka roaches) to the point where I have been suffering from panic attacks and not sleeping well. I am really stressed out about it all and I am not sure what to do at this point. I want to love this place but I might end up in an early grave this keeps up. I have gotten to a point where I have to creep around my living room as to hopefully not see one. I was told it was not an infestation but I really so believe there is one as I heard these are German cockroaches. Just thinking about that makes my body itch. I really want this problem to be solved so I can actually live an enjoyable time at this apartment complex. Not only tha

I just moved in about 2 weeks ago and already I am in LOVE with this place. If I could give a 10 star review I would!! From the start, my experience has been amazing. Adony Rios (the leasing consultant) was such a big help when I inquired about their apartments. He responded to my emails so quickly and even sent pictures/videos and whatever other information I needed. This is my first time moving out on my own so I had no idea what I was getting into and what would come with this, but Adony gave me all the information I needed and was happy to answer all (and I had a ton!) of my questions. Following my move-in I had a few minor details needing to be fixed in my apartment, but since it was nothing major I assumed it would just get taken care of at a later time. I was pleasantly surprised when Adony asked if he could send the service tech the next day! Jose Martinez (Service Tech) showed up and took care of everything I had brought to Adony’s attention. Moved in here back in October and for the most part it’s been okay. Tyler was very attentive during the whole process and even though he was on vacation the week we moved in he made sure to give us a call as soon as he got back to check that everything had gone smoothly. One of the only little things is the parking. Parking spots are scarce and I see residents parking in the visitors parking but you can pay for your own parking spot. When I first wrote this review I had put about a pest problem that I had since moving in but Itati contacted me the next morning and had someone come by my apt that same day to check. Later in the day she called me once more to let me know they had found the root of the problem so they had fixed it. It’s been a couple of days and I haven’t seen anything pop up yet so I am very thankful for that!

One of the nicer places in Irving for the price you pay. Parking could be a little better, but aside from building a whole new complex or parking garage, I don’t see how you fix that. Other than that the staff seem pretty on top of the stuff and are always smiling. I would recommend to anyone in the area.
