I’m confident out of all the local options, this place has the best value for money. The move-in process was made quick and easy thanks to Tionne and all the unwaveringly friendly staff. This complex sports a pool, a complete gym, a fire pit and plenty of lounging space on the roof. Generally the entire community is kind and welcoming. Additionally there are plenty of restaurants and activities within reasonable walking distance.

I've only been living here for a few days now, but I just have to say that Tionne has made the process of moving in (from across the country, at that!) an easy, minimal-stress experience, and I'm so grateful. Everyone I've met here so far, be they residents or staff, has been extremely nice and helpful. I haven't had any noise issues from my neighbors; everything in my unit is working and comfortable; and I'm very happy with how dog-friendly the building is. I will definitely update as time goes on, but I'm really glad that I chose to move here so far! Having such an updated apartment, WITH w/d in the unit in this extremely gorgeous, historic, walkable neighborhood is the best of Birmingham, in my opinion.

Just moved in a few months ago and have had a great experience so far! They have a number of floor plans for everyone's taste, and I have been very happy with my pick. I highly suggest going on a tour prior to move in the see what the apartment has to offer and to view a few different floor plans. I had my tour with Elena and she was great. She laid out all of the expenses in detail, showed me my different options for units, made sure I was familiar with the different amenities and basic neccessities that residents have access to, and she was very thorough and responsive to questions I had while filling out my online application to get approved for my unit. Overall the move in process was straightforward and I have been satisfied since moving in. I recommend the Cortland Vesta to anyone who wants to live in the downtown Birmingham area.

I’ve been living here for over a year and a half now, and it has been such a pleasant experience. Although the units and amenities are great, it’s the leasing and maintenance teams that ultimately made me decide to renew my lease! Both teams work incredibly hard to help with any questions or problems you may have. The maintenance manager, Jonathon, especially goes above and beyond to ensure requests are answered quickly and that any other concerns are addressed.

The property is nice and has some really great amenities, but what really sets it a league above others is the team at Cortland! Tionne and Elena are two team members who have gone above and beyond to ensure that Cortland Vesta feels like home to me and my small family. Tionne went out of her way to ensure that our virtual tour and move-in process was smooth despite coming from out-of-state. Even though we moved in on the one day the leasing office was closed, she went out of her way to make sure we could move in on our desired date. Elena has handled everything with so much care and consideration, from making sure our packages are safely stored to even taking care of our cat! These two go beyond just what the job entails, and show that they genuinely care about the tenants and their happiness. I’ve had a great experience with **Cortland Vesta in Uptown Birmingham**. The location is excellent — it’s close to **Mountain Brook and downtown**, so getting around the city is easy. The views are great, the building is **very clean**, and the area stays **quiet and well-kept**. Another big plus is how **walkable the area is**. It’s easy to get outside and enjoy the neighborhood. I also want to give a shoutout to **Bri**, who was a huge help. I walked in when they were almost closed, and she still took the time to help me out and show me around. The **office staff overall has been great and very welcoming**. Definitely a positive experience so far!

Living at Cortland Vesta has been an amazing experience. The amenities are beautiful and well maintained, and the community has such a great atmosphere. One of my favorite spots is the rooftop deck where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the incredible views of the Birmingham skyline. The pool area is also stunning and feels like a resort with its amazing views and relaxing vibe. They also host resident get togethers, which is a great way to meet neighbors and build a sense of community. I like that we now have a coffee shop next door for residents to enjoy which makes it so convenient to grab a coffee and pastry to start the day. Overall I think it’s a great place to live and I enjoy my time here. Elena and Tionne are gems and always available to answer any questions.

We’ve lived here for more than two years and have loved it. The rooftop offers one of the best views of Birmingham in the city, and the amenities are excellent. The staff are friendly, responsive, and genuinely involved in the community. Tionne was our main contact during the move-in process and has been professional and helpful ever since. I have been living at Cortland Vesta for almost a year now, and my experience has been excellent. The community is beautiful, well-maintained, and very comfortable to live in. I have lived in the Cortland Vesta high-rise for the past two years. Because I work from home, I’m able to see how the building and management operate on a daily basis, which has given me a good sense of how consistently things are maintained. The office in the lobby is fully staffed Mon-Sat, which I love, because there is always someone ready to help, if you need it. Even when I have had something come up on the weekend, I was always able to reach management or maintenance and get help. The maintenance team is top notch and 99% of the time, they come within a couple hours of submitting the request, they are all great and really helpful. The facility is nice and kept clean and issues are attended promptly. Trash chutes and bins are tended to routinely and oversized items and boxes in the fire lobby on each floor are taken out daily. What a place to be! Do not even know where to start with this community. From the moment you walk in, the leasing agents make you already feel like family. The residents here are some of the most welcoming people as well. There is not quite another place in the Birmingham area like Cortland. Jonathan is one of the best at what he does. Elena was an absolute joy to work with. The location of Cortland Vesta is fantastic. The property is situated in the heart of Five Points South, close to UAB, and within walking distance of restaurants and gas stations. The building itself is modern, clean, and beautifully designed, with contemporary décor throughout. And the views from the high-rise floors are truly stunning. Elena facilitated my tour and was incredibly patient as we explored the different layouts. She welcomed every question and made me feel completely at ease, even though apartment hunting can often feel exhausting and overwhelming. She genuinely made the entire process effortless. I’ve been living here for about 4 months and absolutely love it! It’s the best apartment complex I’ve lived in so far. Maintenance are quick to respond to any issues. I love the front desk staff (Tionne and Elena). They have activities for the residents each month (e.g., bingo, Halloween party, etc). The views are breathtaking! I hardly ever hear from my neighbors beside me. I love the security in the apartment (elevators and doors only work via phone app) and how they keep the gym clean. I like my neighbors and we all respect each other. It’s just a gem! 😊

I was only here temporarily, and it was honestly one of the best apartment buildings I've stayed in while in Birmingham. My only complaint is the occasional noise from inconsiderate neighbors that think everyone wants to enjoy their music with them. Avoid renting anything near unit 1706 if you don't want your walls to shake.

I truly enjoy living here, they have food trucks that come on site, they offer yoga classes, which I haven’t had the chance to explore yet. They keep us informed with everything going on at the property.The office staff is amazing!!! Teon is amazing, we have been here almost a year I usually get my girls from school and see her, she always smile and greet us as we come in. My daughter and I took a tour, hosted by Elena Sanders. The facility is absolutely stunning, a surprise to me, having rented almost all my adult life. The models are very nice and help capture the vision you’d have for “your own place”. Most high-rise apartments have very limited space, but these are very well planned and could easily accommodate the modern dweller. I love how the top floor is the community center, instead of a pricey penthouse. It makes the building completely accessible to all residents, leaving very little to be desired. Since she is graduating college next December, we took a tour to set a goal for her and Elena was very welcoming, answering all of our questions, no matter how trivial. I know Caroline is excited and willing to work hard for what she wants. See you all again in December!

I absolutely love Courtland Vesta!! I’ve been staying at the property via Landing and it’s my fav out of the 6 various apartment communities that I’ve been able to live in thus far in the Birmingham area. The staff are nice and polite when I’ve encountered them, the amenities are well maintained and clean, easy access to interstate. Location isn’t central as the other apartments I’ve lived in downtown however still a great location. I was a bit weary after reading some reviews but again my fav so far! I feel comfortable and safe and the views…absolutely breathtaking! Thanks to Courtland and Landing for making this connection bc I’ve enjoyed them both! Sunsets and sunrises here are immaculate especially facing Highland Ave.

He has gone above and beyond as well and I am very thankful for the team. UPDATE I am very displeased with the internet service being offered in the mid rise building. Although it is no fault of Cortland I do feel I need to disclose that I feel stuck because my college student is without any internet because of the error by the Att concierge for the the complex, Becky, who has been a complete pain to deal with. After contacting her multiple times about the address on file for the install (I had scheduled internet installation in JUNE for an AUGUST INSTALL TO INSURE my student had internet for the start of college) she gave me some BS excuse about why it was saying the address was wrong and assured me it would be fine after the install on the 15th. The install didn’t happen on the 15th because surprise surprise they said it was an incorrect address and the next day the Att

Where do I even start. I have lived here for over 3 years. The Cortland Vesta is the absolute best place to be in if you are living in Birmingham. From the views of the sky deck, the gym, the upscale design of every apartment is unbeatable. I have had the honor of living in the high rise & the mid rise & can say you can not go wrong with either choice. This place doesn’t make you feel like a resident, this place makes you feel like family. Crystal is a wonderful manager who strives each day to make sure her residents are at their full potential of living. You ever have a problem within the apartment then Jonathon, Danny, & Cliff will always have an answer for you & are some of the most exceptional people within their profession that you will ever have the privilege to meet. (Original 2 Stars, edit notes at the end) This apartment has decent concrete walls for quiet living, good appliances, decent location, and a good view, but that is about it. I have lived here for over a year. Our parking garage gate has been broken for 60 days (I have the text/date they sent when it became broken) with no end in sight. It is like leaving your garage door open 24/7 and hoping someone doesn't come in and rob the place. This comes directly after the summer where a resident was murdered in the parking garage (google it), a car was hotwired and stolen (I spoke to the owner of the car), and another car was broken into (I saw this with my own eyes). They also told me they can't hire security guards to check vehicles who enter the gate because it would be too much work. So what do they do? Eh, just leave it open. It's not like there is a history of crime occurring when the gate is broken anyways. When I first signed the lease, one of the amenities was a heated pool. The pool heater was always broken
