I have lived here in CV for a month now! And I know I made the right choice. The amenities are outstanding and the location is central to everything within minutes. The Office staff and Maintenance staff are very friendly and have a sense of urgency about your concerns and needs. The neighbors are very friendly everyone speaks. If you want something luxurious then you have found your place to live.

The high-rise is reasonably priced, within walking distance to 5-points, highlands, and beautiful scenic spots. The traffic is not bad in the area, the parking deck is nice, and things like trash/cardboard box disposal is very convenient. The office staff are excellent and fast to reply.

I looked at all the reviews here prior to making a decision to move in and now after a month being a resident at CV, decided to come back and share my own. Location and security were the most important things to me in my decision and have found that I can easily get to Mt. Brook, Homewood, Hoover, and the airport with ease and never am concerned with traffic. Security is above and beyond what I expected. Parking is easy and convenient for guest as well as residents. The amenities and community events are of some of the best I could've hoped for. The staff have been extremely helpful in ways I've never experienced before. Seth guided me on a tour of the property and was helpful answering questions when I called him prior to moving in. He was extremely knowledgable, professional, and capable of helping me right fit into the unit I selected. Wanted to leave a review for Jonathan and the rest of the service team here at Cortland Vesta. They have been an absolute pleasure to work with any time I've needed something fixed or looked at in my apartment. They have been punctual, respectful, and a pleasure to talk to every time I have seen them! I recently had my shower head fixed, and Jonathan made sure to wipe the bottom of his shoes after they had gotten a little wet before walking through the apartment. Just one of the many examples of the service team here going above and beyond. Jonathan is always very helpful and always says to call him for anything. I would recommend Cortland Vesta to anyone based solely on the service team here!

I am absolutely in love with this apartment complex! Seth is truly an angel in disguise. I have never met a leasing agent more attentive to your needs and thorough. I immediately fell in love with the property the moment I stepped on the premises and knew I was home. The facilities are amazing, the views are impeccable, the staff is amazing and the location is superb. I have one of the most breathtaking views from my apartment overlooking the entire city of Birmingham. My floor is so quiet, I sometimes wonder if anyone lives on the floor with me. Everyone who lives here is super friendly. I’ve had so many random conversations sitting at the fire pit at the sky deck overlooking the city. It is a beautiful community! The staff is friendly and quick to respond to all needs. The property is kept tidy. The residents I've passed by and/or met have been super friendly and welcoming. The maintenance crew when I first moved in helped me by bringing me dollies and carts to use while I moved. The community really goes above and beyond for their residents.

We just moved in. While the location is very convenient and at a walking distance to downtown, it is also a quiet neighborhood. The apartments are beautiful and it has been very easy to settle in. We moved from out-of-state and John went above and beyond to make the process absolutely trouble free. The video-tour of the common areas and a couple apartments, and the frequent communication throughout the process made all the difference. Having an easy access to the unloading area that was close to the elevator made our move-in day incredibly easier! We are happy we chose to move here!

OMG!!! Crystal, the Property Manager was amazing to work with. We toured several floor plans that I was interested in seeing. They have a rooftop Bar, rooftop Pool, rooftop Gym, rooftop Fire-Pit, rooftop Sitting Area, and yes city VIEWS. Fun Fact: their App is user friendly, you can view your account, make service request, make amenity reservations, view your lease agreement, and pay online. Bottom line, the staff is super friendly, and the property feels like a 5 star resort. I really feel like I made a great choice as everyone who lives here appears to be in their profession, or is working on a degree. They even have a Courtesy Officer and other members of law enforcement who live on the property.

I just started renting at Cortland Vesta, and so far the experience has been amazing. I've lived in several places around downtown, and this place probably has the best views in Birmingham. Not to mention, the amenities are really impressive. The location is great, just a few blocks from Five Points. I love the parking garage (the rampant car break-ins around the city made this a non-negotiable for me) as well as the fob access for the doors and elevators. It's also assuring that there's a courtesy officer on site. The trash chute is really convenient and well-kept. The walls are little thin, but that's part of living in an apartment. As for the office staff that I've met, Robin and John are both really friendly and professional. Robin was very helpful throughout the leasing process and always answers any emails/calls promptly. There's a fob-access mailroom, which is nice. And Chris and Danny from the maintenance crew will place any large packages inside your apartment if you need it, which has been super hel

First let me start by saying my experience with Robin has been great she was very informative during the tour and she knows this property. She made me feel welcomed enough to move here. She goes above and beyond to get the job done, if you’re a thinking about moving here please do it. When Robin wasn’t available the other people in the office was also helpful. When I had a small problem with something less than 24 hours Jonathan reached out to me to see when would I be available. He responded very quickly. He was very polite also handled everything I asked him to and was very professional. I was very comfortable with him. So far everything with Cortland is great no complaints here.

I've had a great experience living here at Cortland Vesta! The community is only a couple years old, but it still looks and feels brand new. The layout I have suits my needs and has everything that I was looking for in terms of space/setup. The appliances, fixtures, and finishes are all of good quality. The parking deck is also very convenient and is a great feature to have for all the rain and storms we get around here! The leasing process was very smooth. Without any doubt, John Bruce is the best leasing agent I have ever worked with -- he is very professional, attentive, and knowledgable. When I toured Cortland Vesta with John last year, he was so kind to show me a bunch of different floor plans and found one that was perfect for me. Yeah, yeah, John Bruce may be cool and all but he’s not Robin McDermond! I’ve been living here for about a month and so far she’s opened sesame the entrance doors 3x from her desk as I approached, compared to the one time John did it. I’ve lived in luxury condos in north beach, upscale lofts in the galleria area Houston, a downtown Atlanta. So with a growing city like Birmingham not yet in its prime .This property definitely pushes the limits and raises the bar. Setting the standard with great office administration like J.B., Robin, Hanna, Crystal….they’re unmatched when it comes to timely but sincerely handling any issues u have. Above a beyond would be an understatement. The maintenance is the BEST I’ve ever experienced, !! They even ask me in REGULAR passing , is everything going good, do I need the for anythinG from us… an 99.9% I have no response lol..Any requests I put in get handled within the day… emergencies like electrical they’ve come out in the middle of the night!!….. 10/10… anyway sorry for the long review I hardly ever do these things but I actually have not one complaint as a tenant in this building! …No wait the pool is not always heated… but is that really a complaint…. 🤷🏾♂️

I recently moved in and I love the apartment so far! The combination of the loading dock and fright elevator made the move in process a breeze and the views are spectacular. Robin has been extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable when answering my many questions. If you're in Birmingham and you're looking for an apartment that will give you the urban, city vibes with a minimalist feel, then the highrise apartments are definitely for you. However, they offer other housing solutions for people that don't like that vibe, but I love it and I don't think I'd find anywhere else that could deliver this well somewhere else nearby.

I'm sub-letting via Landing, which misplaced the key to my unit, but Cortland Vesta's John Bruce saved the day! John was exceptionally friendly and professional while tracking down a new key, security fob, and parking pass.

I’ve lived here for a few months now and any time I’ve ever needed help with anything I’ve gone down to the office and talked to John. He’s always super helpful, kind and professional. Recently I couldn’t find a package I had ordered and he took time out of his day to go hunt it down for me! It’s awesome having someone like him here at the vesta!

After 30 years of owning a home my wife and I sold and moved to "city life" at Cortland Vesta. We love our new home and enjoying where we now live. The CV staff (Crystal, Robin, Hannah, Lance and Danny) are always responsive to our needs. Lance even greets my two dogs on our morning walks! The CV app is a great way to communicate. The courtesy officer takes care of any noise issues. We would like to see more on-premise security but the secured parking is a great comfort. The roof top gym is fantastic and well appointed with all the right equipment. If you are looking to move downtown, you should consider this new and well appointed property.

This is my wife and I'm first apartment together. When we first moved in our car was broken into but cortland was very quick to respond to the issue and haven't had a problem since! My wife and I work remotely and the fiber optic internet here is literally the best I have ever had I clock in atleast 300 most download speed on my playstation 5 easily! Skydeck is beautiful and even worth just doing a date up there and eat! If their is a problem maintenance people are quick to respond which is great! Even was told they have other properties outside of bama which hopefully can make transferring easier! If we decide to stay in bama I can see our lease being renwed

A special thanks to Joy, Ian, and Hannah for their assistance. As of January 2021, the building is still reasonably quiet, and parking is plentiful. I happen to have an electric vehicle, and (so far) the charging stations are always available. If you are a "food enthusiast," the location is excellent! It is within walking distance to some of Birmingham's finest restaurants and a 5-10 minute traffic-free drive to other hot-spots such as Mountain Brook and Homewood.

There are only two words to describe my stay so far at Cortland Vesta...Absolutely Amazing!!! They have the absolute best staff that tends to our every need. The community is quiet and peace, but at the same time it's full of life. They have outstanding amenities and the people here are a joy to be around. I highly recommend this community for anyone considering moving to the Greater Birmingham area.

Having lived in several apartment communities over the years, Cortland Vesta has by far been the best. The staff has been extremely helpful and responsive right from the beginning, making my move from out of state an easy process. I cant say enough good things about the facilities, the apartment layouts, the amenities, and the finishings. The location is so convenient, being walking distance from many popular restaurants, down the street from Vulcan park, and less than a mile from UAB and the hospital. What really makes the community unique is the leasing and maintenance staff. Whenever I have needed something, Jeff and the other maintenance team members have been so quick and helpful on taking care of the matter. Great community that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new place to live.
