I’ve been living here for over 3 years and felt the need to write a review because I cannot fathom all the negative reviews. It’s almost like a different complex. They do free monthly events for the residents from cocktail classes to blind date with a book. Obviously your neighbors also make where you live a difference and I guess I won the lottery because everyone is always so nice and friendly. Overall there are some cons but personally they’re quite minor compared to all the pros.

The community is lucky to have a community manager like Brittany. I have never met a more attentive community manager and she is super informed on all their polices. They don’t make me feel like another source of money, I feel truly valued here. Maintenance is super responsive and top tier. I just had an issue with some kitchen outlets and the maintainence man who came was fast, considerate, and even explained what went wrong and what to do in the event of an electric fire. I love this place and I am so grateful to be treated well here that I don’t mind my 20 minute commute to work. Thank you for all you do!!! They just really need more staff, that’s the only issue.

It will be a hard one to beat because my tenure here has been memorable. Everything has been amazing, but I wanted to direct my attention to maintenance because they truly deserve their flowers. They are by far the friendliest and most efficient people that I have ever met! I am always greet with a warm smile and a hello, even if it's just passing by. When I put in maintenance reports, they are prompt, respectful, and attentive to the issues I bring up to them. I even had an emergency maintenance call on my a/c once and the maintenance guy immediately showed up in the pouring rain to help! They are the first people I see on my way to the gym every morning and they make the property feel more like home everyday! Resident events are top notch here! I was hired to do an event for the residents and the staff was very helpful and professional. The setting for the event was ideal inside or outside by the pool. Great attendance which speaks volumes that the residents enjoy the events and are open to meeting new people who live there.

The Maintenance Staff always go above and beyond to keep our apartments well maintained and functional. Steve, Gary and Jairo are always very responsive and take extreme care to ensure that the maintenance issue is resolved and always check back and follow up on the status of the repairs. Within minutes of my request they were knocking on my door and I am almost certain the matter would be resolved with no major delay. They don’t make you wait to submit the request in the portal if the matter is urgent and can be repaired quickly, and that is commendable. I want to commend their professionalism and excellent service and for them to know that it is because of staff like them that makes the living experience at Cortland Research Park Apartments even more enjoyable. Toured many apartments around the area and this by far is the best! Love how the apartments are clean and renovated. I use the gym daily and love how well kept it is and the variety of equipment is great. The maintenance staff is awesome, they respond immediately and get the job done. I also love the location, it’s great being right next to southpoint! Overall living at Cortland is wonderful!

I've been here for 3 months now and I love love this place. Moved here from Jersey cause i have Gotten a job promotion. I love how they get involved with community events. Love that💞 However they be held on the days I have work 😔 but I love how they think about community.The office staff is always pleasant and very welcoming. The maintenance staff is always on point. Noone has and attitude. Sometimes my pay period falls a little after the 5th I love how when you come to the office and pay noone looks at you different, they still treat you with the welcome and smiles😁 This is home I'm not leaving this place any soon. This is the best group of people in a leasing office by far that I have came across. The property manager does an amazing job of managing this location. The people up front have a great attitude when you approach them with questions and concerns. Just can't ask for a better team. I have “LOVED” living at Cortland Research Park for the past two years! I have absolutely really no complaints! Peaceful community, nice living space and wonderful amenities. The leasing staff are amazing, so helpful, friendly and engaging. The maintenance team is very professional, timely with any requests, respectful of scheduling, completed within a few hours and if not definitely the same day. I would highly recommend living here (10/10).

I love living at Cortland Research Park in Durham, NC. It's a wonderful community. The office team is great and maintenance takes care of my issues quickly. It's in a wonderful location and the amenities are so nice. The pool is open year-round! Don't hesitate to live here!

We toured this community in April and were moved in by the beginning of May. Kyle helped us throughout the application and move-in process which made things super easy, with quick communication all around. Upon moving in, our apartment was very visibly and thoroughly cleaned and everything worked in running order. We are loving our new home and can’t wait to see what more Cortland has to offer us!

For 7 years I’ve called Cortland Research Park my home! (My neighbor doubled that though!) I am in the literal perfect location in all of the triangle. 15 minutes annywhere. And what a top notch team! Definitely a wonderful experience! Ms. Keela (I think I spelled this correctly) helped my daughter and she ended up showing us 3 different apartments. She was in the office by herself and was still able to get us in as a walk in. Greatly appreciate her attention to detail and friendly conversation. Thanks again

The best part about being here is the maintenance team, not only are they phenomenal they always go above and beyond in fixing any issues or repairs we have and are super friendly. Steve and his team are awesome!

I have loved my stay at Cortland Research Park so far! The apartments and amenities are well maintained and the complex is super dog-friendly which I love. My water heater actually broke the day I moved in which could have been a major headache but the maintenance crew responded immediately and installed a replacement the next day. Not only did they go above and beyond to remedy the issue, but they also made sure that I had access to everything I needed in the meantime. I would definitely recommend!

Just moved in. The office staff was super helpful with any questions or technical issues I had in the process. Apartments are really nice with lots of community/amenity perks and the price isn't too bad for what you get. Shout out to Nathaniel for going above and beyond to help us!

Guess I'll start by sharing that my experiences with the office team have all been positive. Mostly everyone I've met has been professional, knowledgeable, and ready to accommodate. The renovated units are actually very nice and have a bit of character because it's an "older" neighborhood. I really love my lil home! I chose their "Dursley" after touring a couple of their floorplans and thought each was truly decent. The new finishes (stone countertops, dark floors, expresso cabinets, and updated fixtures/appliances) give these apartments a polished look. All in all it's a beautiful mature neighborhood with nicely appointed apartments located minutes away from some of South Durhams better amenities and quick access to the highways. If it's on your list of places to tour, I'd definitely check it out. "Imma stick beside him" 😂 anyway, yeah year four and I'm here for more.

The team in this complex work hard to serve their tenants! The maintenance team has come out in the middle of the night to fix our AC. And we had some mishaps with our lease and the management team, led by Ashley were able to find us a great solution! Finishing up our first 15month lease here and looking forward to another 15! I want to start off by saying how neat & clean the neighborhood looks and the apartments from the inside are just as gorgeous. I came into the office to tour and inquire about finding a new home and Kila did an amazing job. She made us feel welcomed and was very knowledgeable. She followed up with us and made it such a personable experience. I already love it!!

Being a person who moves around alot (work) it’s so hard to find a place I can actually settle down in! But I finally found a place to call home here! With luxury amenities and fixtures. The staff are amazing and very communicative! I love the area so much I definitely recommend!

Cortland Research Park is hands down the best location!! The office staff is always pleasant and professional when I stop in and make you feel welcome. If you have an issue in your home the maintenance staff is very prompt with request and really make sure the job is done right! I have really enjoyed calling this home!

I have enjoyed this community from day 1 of move in! The quality of the apartment to the amenities they offer. Most of all the staffing is amazing!!!! I can honestly say during the pandemic they made the residents feel at ease and comforted us in such hard times and worked with everyone until the end. I will continue to call them home and will definitely refer them to anyone else!!

This is probably the best Durham/ Chapel Hill has to offer when it comes to luxury living. From the immaculate grounds all around the property to the pool, the state of the art gym and the super friendly staff THIS IS A HIDDEN GEM!!

The five stars is for the maintenance team :) they’re always so so nice and make a broken garbage disposal enjoyable. The apartments are good, slightly higher in price than what you get quality wise, especially if you decide to stay another year. Walls are thick between apartments but not above and below. Overall I am very happy I moved here!

Cortland Research Park Apartments under the new management and staff has created an amazing living experience for anyone that has pets, that enjoy great amenities like grilling, swimming and volleyball, and most definitely anyonethat seeks a safe living enfironment. The staff is very attentive to our needs and constantly reach out to us via Text and E-mail to ensure that we are aware of things that are going on in and around our neighborhood. I've had a wonderful living experience here thus far and it just seems to be getting better !!! The Maintenance Staff is also very responsive which is a huge plus !!!

Recently moved to CRP and it's been fantastic! Very friendly and helpful staff that make sure you are satisfied with the apartment. The amenities and location of the community are unbeatable as it's close to everything you could possibly need. Very quiet place and if theres any issue they're there to make sure it gets handled! Best apartment community I've had the pleasure to live in
