This apartment is overall safe and reliable, I’ve been here two years now. It’s unfortunate that they aren’t open 5 days (due to short staff) but they make up for it in their willingness to help when they are here. Every time an issue comes up, the community manager Brittany will call me and do her best to solve it, and is very kind the whole way through. Most of the staff are wonderful. This location actually listens to resident feedback (for instance, when residents complained about people tailgating into the pool, they started using wristbands, they pressure washed the corridors when I asked, etc) which wasn’t the case at my last complex. My second renewal rate was actually the same as my current lease which is rare. The only issue with pricing is the fees going up and being unable to opt out of valet trash (which is usually the case with most places offering that service honestly). Nice community and the units are modernized and they are a little bigger than a lot other communities that I‘ve toured. The area the location is good and it’s a yes for me.

I love this complex. It's the best in Durham, I feel very safe and everything is clean and neat. They care a lot for the renter. The maintenance goes above and beyond, they fixed my washing machine on a Sunday!. Thank you Cortland's team.

This is the most efficient staff that I have come across in a long time. Maintenance and support staff address and solve issues within hours, instead of days and weeks! I have been truly shocked by their performance, and I'm a hard sell. Give this property a try, and you won't be disappointed!!!...

⭐️⭐️ Maintenance understand the assignment, everytime ⭐️⭐️ This is my first time having my own apartment, and honestly, Cortland has set a standard for me. It will be a hard one to beat because my tenure here has been memorable. Everything has been amazing, but I wanted to direct my attention to maintenance because they truly deserve their flowers. They are by far the friendliest and most efficient people that I have ever met! I am always greet with a warm smile and a hello, even if it's just passing by. When I put in maintenance reports, they are prompt, respectful, and attentive to the issues I bring up to them. I even had an emergency maintenance call on my a/c once and the maintenance guy immediately showed up in the pouring rain to help! They are the first people I see on my way to the gym every morning and they make the property feel more like home everyday! Have not moved in yet but I was extreamly impressed with the grounds/big gym/beautiful pool/community office and tour of the one bedroom unit with Nakyshia. She was very friendly and so helpful with all my questions. Looking forward to moving to this community when my time comes!
