I’ve been a long time resident of Cortland properties. This is my third time renting with them across Central Ohio and they never fail to impress. Everyone is always professional and helpful, the communities are safe, and the amenities are always wonderful. I recently got back from a 9 month deployment in Kuwait, so returning to civilian life has been a bit of a challenge, however at Cortland Powell, they streamlined the process, answered all my questions, and kept me in the loop every step of the way, which allowed me to find my new home. We had a wonderful experience at Cortland Powell. We recently moved out after staying for 2+ years. It has been bittersweet leaving. Our unit was in a great location in Powell and the development. The maintenance department was incredible and was always prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. The leasing department was very helpful and Sakeena was AWESOME. As we were moving in and then moving out she made time for all of our questions. She made us feel like we matter and what can be better than that. We will miss Powell Cortland and recommend anyone looking for an apartment to chose Cortland. You won't be disappointed.

It's a nice and safe community, surrounded by parks and schools, perfect place for families. The office usually has something to celebrate or comes up with events inviting residents to participate which creates a welcoming atmosphere. They keep an eye on the cleanliness and saftey of the community and always update their residents with current and future events. Only reason i've put 4 stars and not 5 is because of a maintenance issue that lasted for months before finding a definitive solution, and i think that maintenance team should smile just a bit more. Update 02/25/2021: Powell grand is manged by courtyard for few months now and we started noticing few things that are quiet unpleasant. The first thing we've noticed was during the snow period that lasted over a month, we think that courtland should've taken better precautions to clean curbsides and parking lots when cars were out during the day. We had hard time to park every single evening, worrying to hit another car while parking ours because of the sno

I've been here for roughly a month and I really like it here. For the most part it's quiet (you do hear the nearby train sometimes). It's clean and well maintained. I like that it's near a lot of stores, but tucked away from the main road. I moved from a different state and the staff made the process very easy for me. Looking forward to experiencing the pool in the summer.

Very transparent & responsive management, Community is Quiet, clean, great landscape and safe for family and kids. All different types of markets are nearby and school district is great for kids. I’ve been living here for a while and have nothing but amazing things to say. The complex is very home-like, safe, spacious, and beautiful. Staff is very knowledgeable, professional, polite, and a pleasure to work with. The community is also very clean and close to a lot of shopping centers and restaurants. Less than 48 hours ago, my refrigerator went out. I put in a maintenance request and Tim came within six hours and confirmed I needed a new refrigerator. Today, Tim and Tyler delivered the new refrigerator and took the old one away. They were so kind and careful… got the job done quickly and efficiently. I moved to Cortland Powell not anticipating to stay there more than a year. I signed my second year lease because living here has been quite nice. It’s quiet, maintenance is great, management is fantastic and The apartment is very nice. If I were going to recommend apartment, living in Columbus, specifically, Powell, I would recommend Cortland Powell!

Having lived here now for 6 months I cannot recommend the staff here highly enough. Mark, Sakeena and all of the maintenance staff are professional and friendly. Nothing is ever too much bother for them and even just dropping in for a chat is enjoyable. Any maintenance issues are dealt with promptly by the team. I love my house and the whole community is kept spotlessly clean. It’s a pleasure to walk about and chat to our neighbors. The pool in the summer is a highlight for me as well. Thanks again!

In short, It’s a great place to live with attentive/responsive management. It’s 5 to 15 mins to grocery stores, restaurants, dry cleaners etc. Sakeena, Mark and Jim are very helpful staff members! The only minus thus far would be the occasional train passing by behind the property but most of the time it’s barely noticeable. The community is kept clean and the neighbors are cool overall.

I lived here for about 2-1/2 yrs and it is a really great community with so many nice people! I will definitely so many neighbors. Only reason I gave 4 stars is I think it is a little on the expensive side for the patio style units with walk-in attached garages like I had. But the units are nice and you do get a lot of features with the clubhouse, gym, pool, dog park, outdoor games, walking trails, etc. I really liked the short 10 min walk to downtown Powell too.

Been staying at this place for almost 2+ years. Amazing place with amazing accommodations. The gym is my favorite spot to hang out with friends, get a quick workout in, and bike out to the many forest trails leading to some of the most scenic routes I’ve seen here in Ohio. We’ve had 6-7 relatives come live here with us just because of how much we love it here and they say the exact same thing. Truly a massive step up from anywhere else we’ve rented.

Great rental experience. Apartments are nice sized and have separate storage rooms. Covered walkways are nice on wet days. The maintenance staff keeps the units and grounds well maintained. My dog loved the dog park. Definitely recommend staying here.

Cortland Powell is a fantastic community. Lots of options for a wide range of budgets including options with attached garages. The community amenities are some of the best we've seen (compared to the 8 other apartments I've lived in). It's also a quick walk to downtown Powell either via Sawmill or the walking trails that go through the woods behind the complex to Liberty St. If you're Google mapping it, there is a short tunnel that goes under the train tracks so you don't need to worry about crossing at train level.

Just moved in a couple weeks ago and we are very happy here. The location is great, the townhome is beautiful and the people are so nice. Nice high ceilings, great pool, and we love the pickleball court. Our only complaint is there is a train nearby that goes off about 3 times a day. Its not awful but its loud. Where we are located its not as loud as it could be. I would look at living as far from the tracks as possible when looking for a unit.

Wow! Beautiful property and the leasing office was full of Jolly ranchers to eat! Lol. Great place, beautiful luxurious apartments. I loved the ranch style. Definitely worth the money. If you aren’t sure on what to decide look at the summit (it’s great). And definitely tour with Dylan he’s awesome! Very good at explaining things in an intelligent but understandable manner.

I love living at Powell Grand, the community is beautiful, my neighbors are great and there is a lot of diversity. The office and service team is awesome! There is one maintenance man who has red hair and i wish i knew his name but he’s awesome! He gets in and out of your apartment really quickly but also is thorough. They are usually at my door within the day I make the request which is also amazing!

I have been living in Powell Grand for over a year. I have to say Mark and team have made it a great experience. Issues are taken care of immediately and in a quality way. The mgmt and service team are very responsive and helpful. On the complex, the apartments themself are well thought out and modern. The location is great - easy access to retail/restaurants and lots of great multi-use trails in the area for running and walking. It's also a wonderful perk to have a garage. Fitness center is always open and not overly crowded at all. Pool is good as well. Pet friendly. I see lots of other people when I walk my dog. Also there a pet waste receptacles throughout the complex and you can take your dog on the multiuse paths. Bark Park has been renovated and is a good off lease area. Only complaint is the proximity of the dairy queen. It's dangerous to have that so close. LOL

We used the Powell Grand clubhouse for my child’s birthday and the staff was amazing in their communication and helpfulness to take any added stress off of the day. They had all the cleaning supplies I would need and even checked in on the day of my event and was able to help me turn the tv on. This is just another great interaction that I have had with the team here at Powell Grand. Recommend to anyone I know looking for a new place to call home.

Love it here! Facilities are clean and easy to access. They also give great text updates whenever there is construction or other things like fitness classes or impending weather. Rooms have pretty good sound insulation and hold temperature pretty well.

Been here since October. This is a really nice apartment complex. Very quiet, new modern apartments. Maintenance has been great as well! The front office staff is also really helpful. Drew in the front office help get me set up and has been very helpful any time I have needed something!

Mark and the Cortland team are cooperative and highly efficient. Management hosts catered social activities throughout the year which helps everyone to get to know their neighbors. The clubhouse is outstanding with outdoor pool, the latest workout equipment, card rooms, gathering area with indoor and outdoor fireplace, free yoga classes and occasional exercise class. Maintenance department is on-the-job as soon as a request is submitted. The outside building maintenance and grounds are top notch.

Powell Grand is a fabulous place to call home! We are enjoying our large, open floor plan, the tremendous amount of natural light due to the oversized windows, and the general cleanliness of this community. We took the time to consider many other options in the surrounding areas and realized we are already living in the perfect place! The amenities and the community, as well as the proximity to downtown and the greater Columbus area are superb! We love visiting the parks and rivers in the area, as well as the many options for dining and shopping. We have enjoyed our time here and look forward to continuing to call this place home!

**Updating as of September 2022** Our upstairs neighbors relocated to an apartment better suited to their needs. Apparently they were just abnormally loud, as we haven't had any noise issues since the new neighbors moved in...just typical, average, apartment-living volume. (Can occasionally hear them walking, but sound level is generally VERY low). We haven't had any other real issues with Powell Grand, and the new Cortland office team has been kind and communicative. Taking off one star because they could do better snow/ice removal in the winter, and I wish there was a way to opt-out of the valet trash service. :) ** Powell Grand was amazing when it was owned by the Schottenstein Group. When Cortland took over, they decided to replace all of the carpet in the units with faux wood flooring…my once quiet and peaceful apartment is no more. My husband and I have been here several years and barely ever heard anything from upstairs, even though we’ve lived under various families. As soon as the carpet was removed

Powell Grand is a fantastic community to live in! You get a great resort style living for a fair price. Not outrageous like some other communities in the area. The apartments are build well with nice finishes inside. Not to mention I have yet to hear any of my neighbors through the walls or floors! Located right off Sawmill road which gives easy access to downtown Powell. You’re also close to neighboring cities like Delaware and Dublin and are only a short drive to Polaris. Very happy I chose this apartment complex to call my home!

We love living here! The floor plans are spacious and the apartments are beautiful with up-to-date fixtures. The over-sized windows allow for so much natural light, it provides a welcome boost to our emotional and mental health. The staff at Powell Grand have proven themselves to be professional, friendly, and courteous constantly and consistently. They are always willing to lend a hand, whether it's holding a door, assisting with getting groceries to the door when I am struggling, ensuring maintenance needs and concerns are addressed promptly, or by providing tips on how to cut utility expenses during inclement weather. The amenities at Powell Grand are a welcoming addition to the community, providing opportunities for my children and I to maintain physical fitness and activity, even during bad weather. We are also close to many parks, restaurants, and local shops which allows us to feel like we are a significant part of the community in which we live. I moved into the townhouse a year ago in December. Of course within 2 weeks the prior leasing agent was taken over by Cortland. There was confusion at the beginning but things are getting resolved. I realize it is a lot taking care of over 300 units. The staff has kept us well informed with emails or text messages. I must say Nick has done a great job overseeing projects that have been presented.

The staff were extremely helpful making sure that a time sensitive package was delivered to our address even though the package was delivered to the wrong address. The staff contacted us to let us know that they had the package at the office for us to pick up. Their assistance was very important as the package was delayed due to the snow storm and then delivered to the wrong address.

It's a nice and safe community, surrounded by parks and schools it is a nice place for families. The office usually has something to celebrate or comes up with events inviting residents to participate which create a nice atmosphere. They keep an eye on the cleanliness and saftey of the community and always update their residents. Only reason i've put 4 stars and not 5 is because of a maintenance issue that lasted for months before finding a definitive solution, and i think that maintenance team should smile just a bit more. Update 02/25/2021: Powell grand is manged by courtyard for few months now and we started noticing few things that are quiet unpleasant. The first thing we've noticed was during the snow period that lasted over a month, we think that courtland should've taken better precautions to clean curbsides and parking lots when cars were out during the day.
