We got charged 250 dollars by cox for unreturned equipment (modem) which we did not even obtain from Cox. It was supplied by the apartment community and was already in the unit when we first moved in. We were instructed to leave the modem in our unit on move out. Cox then charged us unreturned equipment fee when we were not even the ones who obtained the equipment in the first place! Beware of this issue when you try to move out. We went back to Cortland to see if they had kept the modem. The guy at the front desk first lied and said he didn't have any modems. When we pressed further, he produced the modem from the back! He was super rude about it too and unapologetic. Edit: Yvette from Cortland (who we had spoken with earlier on the phone) was super helpful and worked with Cox to help get this resolved ! Cortland on the Loop is a wonderful apartment community in Tucson (Oro Valley/Casa Adobes area). I love living here and am very happy. My apartment is beautiful and spacious. When I moved in, I was shocked by how clean it was - almost spotless! (You won't find anyone as picky about this as me...I am a real germ freak!) I have cakledvmaintence for three very minor issues and they were handled promptly by friendly, competent and efficient maintenance staff. It has the best pool and hot tub that I observed in my apartment search. I have used them as well as the fitness center regularly since I moved in. It is great to have these in site as I can not longer drive...cancelled my gym membership! I have no used it yet but there is a real mini movie theater on site that can be reserved for personal use. My grandson is pretty excited about that! The office staff are very nice and helpful, made my move from Washinton pretty smooth. They were patient with me as I had to change my final move in date, as well as switching

Thank you Jeff for handling my service request so quickly! They even brought in a vendor right away. I have had positive experiences with Michael, Lucas, Yvette and Nicole in the office. In maintenance, Todd (also an industry veteran) has really turned this place around. No one cares more about his work than Todd does - and he leads the team Jeff, Rene and Mike superbly. Outstanding landscaping, pool area, ambience, etc. this is as good as apartment living gets
