The Schlage locking system on our homes is a great system that every couple of years needs new batteries. Cortland Las Casas had one of their maintenance people stop by and change the lock batteries for free. Love this place!

The maintenance team is amazing! Every time I have an issue, no matter how big or small, Jonathan (Service Manager) makes sure it is handled right away. I typically receive a response within 2 hours and often my issues are resolved the same day. Everyone on the team (Luis, Arturo, Jeff) is professional and courteous.

We've been with our property location for 6 years, (Tucson Rental Homes and now Cortland Partners). The transition wasn't the smoothest, to be honest, with price hikes, and, since Cortland Partners took ownership, we were given the option of moving into a newly renovated unit at market value or vacate. Over our stay with the local Cortland Las Casas crew, we want to recognize that within the local leasing office and service department, there have been significant improvements in communication and relationship repair efforts. Review for local leasing/service departments: Jonathan has taken over as senior service manager, and his clear communication while also hearing our concerns has honestly been kind, respectful, and so welcoming given previous communication from service managers. Two months ago, I moved into a beautiful fully renovated home off of Mountain Ave. The renovations are A+ and I love the natural light in my home along with my renovations. I was at work. And my 14-year-old son was in charge of his sister for a couple hours till I returned. I sent that out in the information about somebody to help with the battery that was going off. My son let me know that the staff who came to do the work. Was very respectful and let him know that he couldn’t come inside the house until the kids were outside. He handled that with Grace. And made the kids feel safe because they were outside while he finished the work very quickly.

Edit: I previously shared a bad parking experience at Cortland Las Casas. I’m happy to edit my review with a positive update- after my previous bad experience, Kelly worked with me to find a solution. I haven’t had a problem since then. I’m so impressed by their willingness and flexibility to find a solution. We were happy to renew our lease here, because it is quiet and the new renovations are really, really nice. The windows and skylights provide so much beautiful natural light, the finishes are all high quality, the appliances are great, and it’s so private. Edit: I’m having the exact same experience, again. Another night of me getting home from work at 9 and there being ZERO PARKING. Do not live here if you have a multiple car household. My casita is very nice. Love the home, our neighbors are mostly quiet, no issues but PARKING. Do not live here if your family has more than one vehicle. You’re given one reserved space per unit. I’ve always heard of how wonderful cortland las casas team is and when I moved into the casitas i got to experience how incredible they are. Any question (answered that same day), any service request(done within minutes), and just the property in general is amazing. The property is always clean, my home was beautiful when I moved in and Kelly (the manager) is just the sweetest person. If you’re looking for welcoming staff members and a beautiful new home I highly recommend cortland las casas! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Happy end: We moved in on 10th of August, expecting our next rent to be the 10th of September, assuming a notification would be sent for the payment due. However, on the 5th of September a 200 USD late pay charge came via text. This was very frustrating. However we got an excellent support from Kelly from the Cortland office who stepped and managed to help. We are so appreciate of this care and thankful to both Kelly and her manager to address our issue. This example might help you to know that the management is there to help!

The service department is one reason this is an enjoyable place to live. Recently (just before the hot spell) I did a maintenance request for an A/C tune up ...within 25 minutes the service team was at our door and got our unit to peak performance. The air conditioner has breezed through the last few weeks of hot temps. The team is always happy to change you air filters, as well. DeWayne and the crew always handle requests in a timely manner and we have never needed a call-back. Once something is fixed..it's fixed.

I have lived in many places around the USA and this is by far one of my favorite places. If you do rent a stand alone unit and move from an apartment just be aware utilities are more for electric.

I live in one of the refurbished units and it is beautiful. Gorgeous finishes and I like the nice neutral paint color that isn’t your basic white. I recently relocated from Tx to Tucson, AZ. George made my transition smooth and easy from start to finish. He kept me in the loop of my application status and provided me a time frame where I can move into a unit with a move-in special which helped financially. Overall my experience has been great. I was concerned that when it went from local ownership to a national company things would change - yes they did… for the better!! It’s a beautiful property and Cortland brought on a great team and improvements are constantly being made. Service requests are handled in record time. Property improvements are based on anticipated future needs using a proactive instead of reactive approach.

The houses are beautiful and the leasing staff is the best I've ever rented from. They genuinely care about their tenants. If you have an issue you can talk to Kelly and she will do everything she can to make it better, and fast. I'm blown away by her professionalism and the entire leasing staff has been the same. The staff at Cortland Las Casas are without a doubt the best leasing staff I have ever dealt with. Being 1200 miles away and knowing I needed a place fast, they were so prompt in processing the paper work to get me in. They also helped me step by step in filling out the paperwork, and answering all the questions I had. They were and are always so cheery and helpful when speaking with them and go beyond the extra mile. I have probably only written 5 reviews ever, but for this staff, they deserve to be lauded. I have lived here 6 1/2 years and I gladly just signed a new lease. The Casitas are located on Sabino Canyon Rd. just south of Sunrise and the proximity to the Canyon can’t be beat. The community is safe, private & pet friendly. When I first moved in, it was locally owned by Tucson Rental Homes. I was concerned learning that a year ago a large out of state investor bought this property. While they may be large and based out of state, they have been able to provide much better response time on service requests and have already invested in property improvements. Perhaps most notable is the proactive communication to residents and the new team is on top of their game. So I’d like to give a special shout out to Kelly Gallaher who is the Property Manager. She sent out an introductory email and has made herself available to triage any concerns. This is a reminder to me that while Cortland may be big- there are people inside that company that care about the residents and I’m impressed with the investment they demons

Cortland is a great place to live. The area is great as well. Everyone was super helpful to get us the right apartment. The Who experience was smooth and easy, i highly recommend giving them a call to find your new place.

This place has been nothing more than the best! The homes are very nice and just the right size (not too big and not too small), the backyards are easy to maintain, and the neighborhood are always quiet. PLUS the staff has always been VERY VERY approachable, patient, and really care about their residences (they have done a lot for us). The maintenance people work HARD... these folks are on top of their stuff and are always very helpful and kind. I have no plans on leaving anytime soon as this is a place, for the first time in many many years, I can finally call home! Thank you to Sharon and her amazing staff for everything. You guys ROCK!

New Owners does Not make it a bad place! Yes the rent went up. Hopefully when I have to renew it’s not crazy. I understand market value is how it is determined. But they say they are willing to work with you. So I am hopeful. When ever I have a problem and it is not often! Maintenance has been VERY Helpful! I had an issue with my refrigerator called when I got home, 1:00 am and received a call back from maintenance 5 minutes later! And he was there the next morning to look at it! Turns out Nothing was wrong! I have been here 5 years ( I think? ) lol I’m bad with years. In my whole time here with old management and New Management it’s been a Great Experience! Meghan in the office is Absolutely The best! And when I have dealt with the other ladies in the office they have been very helpful and courteous! And The New Management has been Great! Don’t let bad reviews scare you from this Great Place!

Im not sure why there are so many bad reviews on here...... My A/C went out yesterday. I sent in a service request and called the leasing office the next morning to follow up. Megan was very friendly and helpful. They were able to send someone out here the next day to fix it and my A/C is now working correctly. Thank you Cortland Las Casas!

I was so fortunate to have found Meghan . As my Leasing Agent. Meghan was always on my side working to make my lease agreement as simple and successful as possible. The best part about working with her was that she was always more focused on answering my questions, giving me good advice, and finding a home that met my needs than she was on closing a deal. Cortland is a beautiful place to live and in a great area! Meghan Keilty took her time and worked with us to get us the right apartment.
