THIS IS FOR THE TOUR. I only mention it because I don’t currently live here and can’t speak on day to day. But had an amazing tour with Ashlen she showed me around and really had great answers to all my questions. Even gave her some tough questions and she was very open. As we walked around everything looked clean and other tenants around were friendly. If you’re curious I would definitely give them a try and see for yourself! But truly Ashlen was amazing and I appreciate her attitude and knowledge.

A Gem of a Place to Call Home I've been living here for a while now and I genuinely couldn't be happier with my decision to move in. From the moment you walk through the door, the interior design immediately sets this place apart — it's thoughtfully curated, modern, and warm in a way that instantly makes you feel at home. My unit itself is incredibly cozy. It's the kind of space where you actually look forward to coming home at the end of the day. The layout is smart, the finishes are beautiful, and the atmosphere is just right. The common areas and amenities are top-notch and well-maintained. It's clear that management takes pride in keeping everything clean and functional — these aren't just boxes checked on a brochure, they're spaces you'll actually use and enjoy. What really seals the deal is the management team. Every request I've submitted has been handled quickly and professionally. It's rare to find a complex where you feel like your comfort is genuinely a priority, but this is one of those places

My partner and I recently had a tour with Ashlen and she genuinely made us feel right at home and that she truly cared about residents. She made sure to answer any concerns we had as well as go over all amenities and deals they were running. As she was giving our tour, we passed residents who she greeted with a smile and took the time to talk to which really showed how much she cares. I can’t say enough great things about our tour with Ashlen, and she was a big part in our deciding factor to live here.

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Eboni. This was, without a doubt, the best leasing experience I’ve ever had. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond in a way I’ve never experienced before, completely championing for me! She didn’t just help me through the process, she truly advocated for me and made me feel supported every step of the way. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely has your best interests at heart, but that’s exactly who Eboni is. Even when things didn’t work out on my end, she continued to be understanding, kind, and incredibly graceful. I’m so grateful for all the time, effort, and care she put into helping me. If you ever have the chance to work with Eboni, you’re in amazing hands. She sets the bar extremely high.

I have lived in this building for almost three years now and am about to move out and I am honestly super sad about it. I have found my experience to be absolutely great. I have lived in A LOT of apartments but this building is clean, has helpful staff, good location, great amenities, etc. My recommendation if you are looking for a quieter space is the south building (apartments noted S). I lived there and found it to be quiet and peaceful and everyone was respectful.

The rooftop and pool were very nice, and the units were very spacious with updated finishes and appliances. I came during the open house and had great interactions with the leasing office. Eboni was so friendly and answered all of the questions I had about the application and move-in process. I ended up applying before I even left the property. I have friends that have lived here for years and have nothing but good things to say, so I’m excited about joining the community.

All I can say is Gervon is the best! I was out of town working and needed to transfer to a different apartment within the building . He went a personally sent videos of two apartments I was interested it and completed everything while I was working out of town! When I came home all I had to do was Sign! He is absolutely the best! When he says he’s going to handle something, it is done!

It has truly been a pleasure living here. Ebony has been wonderful from the very beginning. She has been very helpful, we toured the available units and I immediately fell in love with the penthouse. From my balcony, I have incredible views of the Washington Monument, the Air Force Memorial, and the Capitol. The gym is excellent, and the rooftop space is beautiful and elegant. The photos do not fully capture how refined the entire apartment community feels in person. I cannot say enough about Ebony. She has been incredibly accessible, helpful, and consistently supportive whenever needed. Overall, I highly recommend living here.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I wanted to take a moment to recognize Sherry and Noah for their exceptional help a couple of Sundays ago when I misplaced my keys at church and was unable to get into my apartment when I returned home. Sherry was incredibly kind and stayed with me while I waited for assistance, keeping me company and making the situation much less stressful. Noah then drove all the way from Maryland to come open my door, which I truly appreciated. Their willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed, and I give my five stars directly to them for their outstanding service. The only suggestion I would have is that it might be helpful for the concierge to have access to a master key for situations like this. What ultimately took over 40 minutes could likely have been resolved in just a few minutes if the key had been available on-site. Overall, I am very grateful for the support and professionalism Sherry and Noah showed that day.

I have lived in CCP since it was owned by Elme and I can only say that the property management has only attempted to raise higher each day. One of the best changes through the transition has been Sherry fixing the package situation and leading the concierge position. In addition to that, she is always making sure residents have any and everything they need. Well-dressed, professional, and incredibly kind. I wish she could work all 7 days or be on-call in the building for consistency. This stems from the fact that whenever there’s a temp, there are issues in packages, deliveries, and general FAQ answers. The most disappointing response I’ve ever gotten from someone working here is “oh, I’m sorry—I’m just a temp”. Additionally, the building really needs to buckle down on keeping the garage maintained—regarding trash, proper functioning residential and gate doors, as well as free loaders who simply abuse those who pay the fee by tailgating. The new management has been steering the ship in a good direction. The staff has been great assisting in explaining the new systems for residents. Sherry(⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars highly recommend), in particular, has been an amazing new addition! She really makes walking in a warm and inviting experience. My wishlist: can food delivery PLEASE come upstairs; can lobby please be reachable without the fob please.

Sherry from the Concierge is not only wonderful but redefines customer service. The package room used to be a monstrous place filled with chaos, but now it’s organized and ready to go. She is wonderful. I wish we had 10 angels like her. But I’m grateful for the one. Sherry, hiring you was the best thing Cortland did.

I’ve been living at CCP for a little while now and while things have been overall very positive and comfortable, there have been a couple hiccups regarding small issues around the building — in my experience. Mainly I point to the package room. Knowing that the transition from Elme to Cortland requires a little grace to find the flow, packages have been recently requiring a bit more care. That’s where Sherry comes in. Whoever decided to add her to the team deserves an award. She is thoughtful, nice, and very pleasant in carrying out her duties as concierge, remembers names, greets people warmly, helped me find an important package immediately and had the whole parcel room organized to perfection. Very grateful she’s here and hope she continues to be on a daily basis!

Living at Trove has been nothing short of an incredible experience. The amenities are nice, the overall environment is quiet and clean -- with the appropriate amount of liveliness on the weekend -- whether it be with people going out or the occasional celebration/function on the rooftop. Ashlen was extremely helpful with move-in and really provided us with the knowledge we needed to get acclimated. Mahogany has been nothing short of exceptional in her service to the residents and her caliber of care shows everyday she comes in to work. Furthermore, the maintenance staff is a 10/10. They are reliable in every sense of the word. Specifically, Diego and Noah. Diego has made every effort in making sure our living experience is top notch. My AC kept going on/off due to a blockage which he promptly sorted and then prevented any further issue. His first assessment was done only about 30 minutes after we put in the work request. He fixed it for the evening and said he would be back to finish the rest the following mo

Tonight was an amazing evening at Trove. Not only is management amazing but they also bring in excellent events. Tonight they brought in a comedy show that truly blew us away with over 10 comics. Bring them Back again and move here immediately for a great time.

I could give this property 10 stars, I absolutely would! I toured The Trove over the weekend with my 4-month-old daughter, and all I can say is—it was amazing. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable, even making accommodations for my baby and me during the tour. I toured with Ryan, and he was simply incredible! It honestly felt like I had known him forever—so warm, personable, and helpful. He took the time to show me multiple options that could best suit my needs, and I truly appreciated his effort. The leasing staff, Mahogony and Tara, were also fantastic. They were so helpful in guiding me toward finding the perfect home for my little family. Everyone was so professional and genuinely caring. The amenities alone are worth every dollar of the amenity fees—modern, clean, and everything you could want in a luxury living space. I really hope I get approved for this apartment soon because I already feel like the management team here would treat any of my future concerns with care

I lived at Trove Apartments for 2years and had I not relocated to Central Virginia I would have never left the building. Ascetically the building is beautiful with all modern decor and vibrant colors. It has a look and feel of luxury but at the same time affordable. If you’re one to enjoy taking selfies, there are many areas that provide a gorgeous backdrop. The tenants have a quiet working environment that allows them to focus and access printing and copying services. I used the rooftop lounge area for a family gathering and it made my event a hit with everyone. Very posh…breathtaking views of DC skyline. The leasing manager, Lindsey Ogden is warm, compassionate and fair. I’m amazed that she can juggle all of the responsibilities she has there and elsewhere with such a great attitude and professionalism. I’m gonna miss the maintenance team as well. Ismail, Diego, Noah, and Robert are prompt and thorough in their maintenance work. Didn’t have major issues in my unit and my request for service was always quick

Love the Service Team at The Trove. They’re extremely friendly & will answer any maintenance questions you may have. Today they replaced the filters in the building & while doing so, Diego observed a small leak. He immediately returned to fix it.THANK YOU!! Shout out to entire team. Great Work!!

The Trove complex is gorgeous! I'm pleasantly surprised by the upkeep and maintenance all throughout the complex; from the lobby area, to the common areas, to the fitness, and all around — it's very well-kept and up-to-date. The management team has great leadership, and they're very adamant about making sure the residents feel at home and we'll accommodated for. They definitely make you feel like you're VIP. They will go above and beyond to ensure that you feel at ease throughout the entire application and move-in process. I highly recommend living here! I definitely feel at home and secure. The amenities are amazing. I literally canceled my gym membership because Trove's gym has everything I needed. The rooftop pool is gorgeous. If you care about security, you're going to love this complex because you can't get anywhere without fob access. If you have pets, Trove has an awesome pet spa and dog run. The other residents here are all also super friendly. It's a great community to be a part of. 10/10 would defin

Living here for half a year, the cost performance is relatively high in the surrounding apartments. It is hoped that the apartment will continue to strengthen the management of restricting the entry of outsiders into the apartment, including parties and noise. All the staff members in the office were very nice and professional, especially Alexandro in the management office was very friendly and helpful. My boyfriend, friends and I highly recommend him！！

Overall: I highly recommend Trove Apartments. It has been the best-managed building I've lived in, with excellent amenities, a quiet location, and a great sense of community. Pros: Management: The staff, including Vonetta, Chrissy, Alexandro, Ismail, and Diego, are professional, caring, and responsive. Facilities: Trove boasts top-notch amenities, including a well-equipped gym (featuring a squat bar!), a clubroom, a rooftop terrace, a pool, and a convenient coffee machine in the workstation area. Location: The building offers a peaceful environment with minimal noise pollution, perfect for working from home. Events: Trove fosters a sense of community by hosting at least two events per month, such as comedy shows and happy hours. Residents: The majority of residents are young professionals in their 20s and 30s. Cons: Limited Rooftop Hours: The only drawback is the rooftop's restricted access hours. Ideally, the hours would be extended to midnight on weekends.
