It has truly been a pleasure living here. Ebony has been wonderful from the very beginning. She has been very helpful, we toured the available units and I immediately fell in love with the penthouse. From my balcony, I have incredible views of the Washington Monument, the Air Force Memorial, and the Capitol. The gym is excellent, and the rooftop space is beautiful and elegant. The photos do not fully capture how refined the entire apartment community feels in person. I cannot say enough about Ebony. She has been incredibly accessible, helpful, and consistently supportive whenever needed. Overall, I highly recommend living here.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I wanted to take a moment to recognize Sherry and Noah for their exceptional help a couple of Sundays ago when I misplaced my keys at church and was unable to get into my apartment when I returned home. Sherry was incredibly kind and stayed with me while I waited for assistance, keeping me company and making the situation much less stressful. Noah then drove all the way from Maryland to come open my door, which I truly appreciated. Their willingness to go the extra mile did not go unnoticed, and I give my five stars directly to them for their outstanding service. The only suggestion I would have is that it might be helpful for the concierge to have access to a master key for situations like this. What ultimately took over 40 minutes could likely have been resolved in just a few minutes if the key had been available on-site. Overall, I am very grateful for the support and professionalism Sherry and Noah showed that day.

can’t say I haven’t experienced a few issues, but they were resolved promptly and very professionally. Keith Stewart has been exceptional in the leasing office, assisting with any requests or concerns as well as making the move-in process smooth and stress-free.

I have lived in CCP since it was owned by Elme and I can only say that the property management has only attempted to raise higher each day. One of the best changes through the transition has been Sherry fixing the package situation and leading the concierge position. In addition to that, she is always making sure residents have any and everything they need. Well-dressed, professional, and incredibly kind. I wish she could work all 7 days or be on-call in the building for consistency. This stems from the fact that whenever there’s a temp, there are issues in packages, deliveries, and general FAQ answers. The most disappointing response I’ve ever gotten from someone working here is “oh, I’m sorry—I’m just a temp”. Additionally, the building really needs to buckle down on keeping the garage maintained—regarding trash, proper functioning residential and gate doors, as well as free loaders who simply abuse those who pay the fee by tailgating. The new management has been steering the ship in a good direction. The staff has been great assisting in explaining the new systems for residents. Sherry(⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars highly recommend), in particular, has been an amazing new addition! She really makes walking in a warm and inviting experience. My wishlist: can food delivery PLEASE come upstairs; can lobby please be reachable without the fob please.

Sherry from the Concierge is not only wonderful but redefines customer service. The package room used to be a monstrous place filled with chaos, but now it’s organized and ready to go. She is wonderful. I wish we had 10 angels like her. But I’m grateful for the one. Sherry, hiring you was the best thing Cortland did.

I’ve been living at CCP for a little while now and while things have been overall very positive and comfortable, there have been a couple hiccups regarding small issues around the building — in my experience. Mainly I point to the package room. Knowing that the transition from Elme to Cortland requires a little grace to find the flow, packages have been recently requiring a bit more care. That’s where Sherry comes in. Whoever decided to add her to the team deserves an award. She is thoughtful, nice, and very pleasant in carrying out her duties as concierge, remembers names, greets people warmly, helped me find an important package immediately and had the whole parcel room organized to perfection. Very grateful she’s here and hope she continues to be on a daily basis!
