My wife and I relocated to the DC area this summer, and Kenneth made a long-distance move far easier than it had any right to be. He walked us through multiple video tours so we could choose an apartment without being there in person. When there were mistakes on the sales side, he emailed the right people on our behalf and got them sorted out. What was a hectic and stressful move that had to happen in a hurry, his help made possible. What really stands out is that his help didn't stop once we signed the lease. We've been here two months, and he's still the person we know we can count on whenever an issue comes up. Just last week he helped us get a storage unit after none had been available for months. We love the apartment and the location, and especially how dog-friendly the community is. We've met so many great fellow dog owners here. I lived here for a short time and really enjoyed my apartment complex. I always bumped into one of the maintenance workers,Rosa, in the morning and she is so kind and helpful with any questions/concerns I have about the complex. I've been living at Courtland for three months now, and I absolutely love it! For many years, I've been a huge fan of the Greenbelt, and now I get to enjoy the view every time I look out my windows. HONEST REVIEW (from a currently disgruntled tenant) : - The front office is excellent (except for a random dude that works some Saturdays-not Cameron, he's great-that makes empty promises and never follows up) - The insides of the buildings almost always smell like dog piss - The apartment complex does NOT vet animals or screen them in any way and there are multiple aggressive/not well controlled dogs on the premises. - The pool and jacuzzi area is awesome except not always well kept with tons of bugs often floating in the ill-cleaned waters. - The elevator is broken 60-75% of the time, so living on the 3rd or 4th floor is a pain. - Parking is great and you can almost always find a spot. If you can't street parking is nearby. - They throw a lot of events and bring in food trucks which is a nice touch. - My wifi hasn't been working in over a month due to a coax that the apartment claimed wasn't their responsibility but after many attempts for clarification, they found out it was. That really sucks and still do

This is going to be a long review, but worth reading. First, I want to say that moving is hard. Moving to a completely new place comes with a lot of challenges, bumps, and unexpected situations. In my case, there were definitely moments when I felt overwhelmed and didn’t know how everything was going to work out. But in the end, Cortland made what felt like an impossible move possible. This was my first experience with Cortland. Before moving in, I saw the mixed reviews and understood that every apartment community will have its issues. I’m someone who is a problem solver. What stood out to me about Cortland was teamwork. From leasing to management and everyone involved behind the scenes, people worked with me, accommodated me, listened to me, and helped me through a very difficult transition. I had the most exceptional experience meeting Dessi and looking at the apartment complex. Everything was amazing, but the best was the service Dessi gave us as we walked and all the way to the end. I visited one of They’re Competitors, 30 minutes after meeting with her and the experience was horrendous. Nowhere near the excellent service that Desi provided. By far the best apartment complex that I have ever lived in that I will be extremely reluctant to leave. The front office people are all amazing (especially Austin) and proactive/helpful. The property is always super clean (and safe), and everything is well-maintained. This complex also has the best maintenance team of anywhere I've lived. They are all extremely kind, understanding, and efficient. I am especially fond of Gaspar, who treats all of us like we're an extension of his family. He has dropped everything to come help me during late night maintenance emergencies, and I couldn't be more grateful for him. I love it here!

I signed a one year lease but had to move out early due to relocation, the whole leasing team including Macey, Rama is really friendly and very helpful. Overall, I had a great time living in the property, which is newly renovated and is wonderfully located in the heart of pentagon city. Macey is a great manager and she really takes care of all the residents and very easy to work with. If I ever come back to DC, I will live here again.

Yara has been incredibly patient with me every step of the way. I’ve called quite a few times with questions because I’m new to all of this, and she has always taken the time to help me, explain things clearly, and never make me feel like a bother. Nancy has been absolutely amazing. Not a tenant, while apartment hunting I stopped here with my girlfriend and we were treated very well by Daniel at the leasing office. The units were nice and this apartment was in our top 3, but unfortunately we found an apartment in a better area for us. Had this complex been closer it would have been our top pick.

I've lived here for a couple of years and it's been great. The location is so convenient with access to many different major highways. I can make it to the gate at Lackland in under 10 minutes! This rating is for their customer service. I didn't end up choosing the apartment due to my locational preferences, but I chose to take a look at this apartment initially b/c of their positive reviews on Google as well as Apartment Ratings.com. The women working in the office were really patient with the questions I had and pleasant with me, which I appreciated. They will follow up with you promptly as well.

I often do not write reviews; but today I have to make an exception. We all know looking for an apartment is not always all it’s cracked up to be. Many times the staff can come across indifferent or as you are a nuance. That was not the case at the Flats of Westover Hills. I felt very welcomed , and the staff seemed genuinely warm. A special thank you to Amy. She was very thoughtful and took time to answer all my questions and listen to my concerns.

I recently visited a friend that lives at The Flats at Westover Hills Apartments and I was very impressed by the community. It’s such a well-maintained place and the atmosphere is very friendly. Everyone I interacted with was so welcoming. They were having a nacho night for the residents and I was invited to join them. I could tell the staff works well together to ensure the residents are taken care of. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home I highly recommend checking it out!

I’ve been Living at the Flats at Westover since the beginning of 2022 and it’s been a great experience, leasing management team are welcoming and Kind & great people! Freshly from moving to Texas from NY so it felt good to be welcomed by a group of people away from home! And if there’s an issue they attend to those issues efficiently and in a timely manner.

Deciding on The Flats at Westover Hills was a no brainer! From the initial tour to move in day, it's been seamless. Christina was and continues to be friendly, helpful and makes sure my questions and concerns are taken care of. I'd definitely recommend this property if you're looking for a beautifully kept, modern and comfortable home.

The apartment itself was immaculate and exceeded my expectations. Christina highlighted the best features, from the spacious floor plans to the modern amenities. She took her time showing me around and never made me feel rushed. I appreciated how she pointed out small touches that really make a difference, like the natural light in the living area and the quality appliances in the kitchen.

Love living here! The staff is amazing, the amenities are great, and the people that live here are very friendly! If you have any questions, Amy is always helpful and willing to help. Haven’t had a problem since I’ve moved in. Highly recommend this place.

I have been searching for an appt for 3 months for my daughter and I. As I walked into the office we were greeted by a friendly and cheerful person. Amy was a very honest person and answered all my questions that I had and felt more safe about this property.I am very weary about locations since it’s just my daughter and I. You can also tell this property is well kept, very clean! Amy did amazing showing us an appt that we will be moving into next month. Yaaaay!!!Thank you for all your help Amy!

Went in to view a new place since my lease is almost up. Looking over and over gets exhausting. But i ended my day here at the Flats westover and got to meet and walk with Amy Garza, by far the best to work with!! Fun and energetic and down to earth. She made my decision easy. Keep her, hard to meet genuine people like her anymore.

I havent moved in just yet but the process alone is very smooth and they are very helpful. Christina was so helpful and i couldn’t imagine going through this process without her shes such a sweetheart and you can tell she truly loves what she does. She didnt mind any questions at all and does her best to make this process as simple as can be. She truly wants you to find your future home here. The complex itself is gorgeous and they seem to truly take care of this complex with lots of consideration and love.

I was able to view this property with my sister, while she looked to lease. I love this location and the many amenities they offer. Amy was able to help us through this leasing process and was very patient. We had multiple questions and came back to view the property multiple times. recently my boyfriend and i moved from north texas to san antonio. i was very stressed out and overwhelmed about decisions on where to live after having bad experiences previously. i first met christina when i toured this complex she mad the decision very easy by being very open and transparent about it and immediately made me feel welcomed. after touring 6 apartments that day the choice was very easy. so thanks to christina and the team at the apartments, im excited to call this our home. our first few months have been amazing.
