So far, so good. Moving in was a seamless process, and working with the members of the front office staff (Pleasant, Emma and Desirae ) has been a breeze. They were all very attentive to my concerns and questions, provided me with all the documentation I needed to feel comfortable (which I appreciate because I get anxious about moving 🥲) I love my apartment so far; a few things to tweak, but nothing maintenance cannot fix. ❤️ the surrounding grounds are very clean and it’s seems nice and quiet. Will do a 3, 6, and lease end update!

Other than the convenience of the location, one of the major things that have kept me here over the years is the maintenance team with Kurt, John, and JD. They first always follow up quickly on my requests to confirm what needs to be done and they are performed in a timely manner if not on the same day. When I recently experienced unexpected weather damages over the Christmas holiday, Kurt was exceptional at leading and coordinating the effort with the property team and vendors in restoring my apartment and easing any concerns or touch-ups upon my return to the apartment.

UPDATE: While I did have bad experiences as listed in my previous review, the management team (especially Annette) has been working harder to address every concern thereafter to the best of their ability and that is something I appreciate. For example, I was out of town during the recent freeze and the management team sent a member of the maintenance team to check in on my apartment to make sure no pipes had burst in or around my apartment. ----------------------------------------------- Previously listed issues: During the renewal, the leasing agent at the office (choosing not to name them) couldn't answer basic questions about my new lease and kept saying "the lease is created by the Cortland HQ" and therefore he had limited knowledge. I would tell him exactly what my new lease was saying and he simply would not believe me and straight up tell me "I don't see that on my end". Didn't even bother to investigate what I was saying. What do you even do when the leasing agent doesn't believe what you're seeing on

I’ve been a resident for almost a year. Any questions, concerns, or requests were addressed immediately. RJ is extremely professional and hosts the best community events. The apartments are spacious, close to shopping areas, and quiet at night.

My daughter and I have been a resident for over a year. We have just renewed our lease and we feel at home. We absolutely, love the apartment and the area! As a customer service teacher, I am very critical of service, and do reviews to support excellence as I find it to help others make good decisions. I've given a 5 star rating because service is important to me. I will NOT pay to live where the serve is poor. I have found management in the person of Mr. Rashawn Jackson to be excellent! In addition, Mr. Jackson returns calls, emails, in a timely manner and he keeps his word. Qualities that are important to me in post COVID and a recession. Cortland 5550 It is a good place to live because the management team works and this includes maintenance. So If you are looking for a supportive environment, that is safe, clean and management efficient, Cortland 5550 is the place!

Yet again... the experience with the Cortland 5550 management staff, especially Annette has been top-notch. Had an issue and it got handled the next day. Most other community issues are prioritized then placed on the back burner. However, the team here got it done very quickly, and I will be renewing my lease because we love it here.

I absolutely love this apartment. It’s clean and quiet. The staff is absolutely superb!! Annette goes above and beyond her call of duties to ensure things are handled.EJ is also a very pleasant person always so professional. I definitely recommend living here to anyone. The area is perfect for freeway access as well as many restaurants and shops nearby.

I went to visit the property today hoping to find a unit with a short turnaround time because my current lease ends in two weeks. But upon meeting Annette, the senior community manager, and the agent-in-training, Amarel, I was shown exceptional customer service. Annette took her time to show me 4 units on the beautiful and well-maintained complex. The fact that they are a part of Cortland definitively made my choice easy. It is an added bonus that they will undergo further community renovations in February. Looking forward to being a tenant here with these rockstars!

I love this property and its proximity to Buckhead. I’ve been a resident for 3 years and my experience was great here. Even more so after Annette, RJ, and Kaisey took over property management in the leasing office. I’d 10/10 recommend anyone looking for an apartment in the area to come live here.

The election is a wonderful place to live. I had searched the Dallas downtown area for the last four months and could not find a place that offered both comfort and luxury. However, once I came to visit the election I was convinced it was the place for me. They offer a variation of floorplans and price points that are a great value for the space per square foot. The atmosphere is suitable to my lifestyle and offers something for everyone. It’s one of the best living community within the Dallas.

Had an issue with A/C not cooling apartment. Submitted a maintenance request online and within 24 hours repairs were made and A/C is cooling again. Repairs were done while I was at work and received notice when the repairs were completed. Appreciate the quick response and professional service that was provided.

Grapevine TwentyFour 99 is a great community! It has great mature trees that give the community a home feeling. The trails, behind the community are a great thing. If you have dogs you will love them and the dog park also. They have great resident events as well. But most of all the office and maintenance are great. And you can tell they work really hard at making this a great place to live for the residents.

I’ve lived here at Cortland Estates for 7 years. It’s a great place to live. A very centralized complex to get groceries drug store and various restaurants. I am retired and plan on living here for a long time. Great staff is the best part of living here. I would recommend Cortland Estates to everyone.

Living at the Grain Belt has been a fantastic experience. Outside of the noise and traffic of downtown but close enough to get there in a moment's notice. Close proximity to parks and MPLS' river walk paths. Just a great location.

I have lived here since 2015. The apartment complex is as tidy as it can be considering some tenants do not pick up after their animals. I love having a pool at my complex. Management is always accommodating as is Maintenance team who has a lot to do.

We must say...what an amazing experience with the new management staff here at the new Cortland 5550 (formerly Perimeter 5550). Annette and her team including RJ, Kasey & Kurt have been amazing during the transition. They are very polite and understanding towards our requests and needs. They have done a tremendous job during the transition despite any issues related to the previous management. We will continue to stay in this lovely and safe community because of them. Cheers!

We have lived at this property for 2 years. The community is very quiet and the pool is well maintained. You can walk to some really great restaurants (Sushi Nami is our favorite for drinks and sushi!). It seems like the new management company is doing a lot of work on the property already to update things. The maintenance staff is super polite and handles issues very quickly. I'm sure the transition to a new management company is not easy but they have gone above and beyond to make sure residents are taken care of :)

Perimeter 5550 is definitely the best value for your money in this area. The community is well maintained with a really nice pool and the surrounding neighborhood is extremely walkable. Maintenance issues are handled quickly and taken seriously. All of the staff are lovely!

It has been a joy living in this apartment. I'm new to the Atlanta area, so experiencing a wonderful, friendly atmosphere was very helpful to me. Safety was the number one concern as a female. And number two was amenities. I received both with the gate community feature and having a washer and dryer inside the apartment. I would recommend this complex to friends.

I recently moved in to Perimeter 5550 and it’s been a very smooth transition. I had to move out of my previous apartment quickly and was able to do so within a week without issue. Oksana is amazing and extremely helpful! She’s on top of it, friendly, and thorough which helped me feel more confident about moving here. It’s a beautiful, relaxing community and I’ve felt nothing but welcomed here. I love my new home and definitely recommend moving here!

Oksana has been the best help with my time here! I toured with her early on and we kept in touch while I was still deciding on where to move and she is part of the reason I wanted to lease here - so helpful and you can tell she cares about the residents. My move in was a breeze, the area is absolutely fantastic and I love the set up the apartments. Would definitely recommend! The Maintenance team is also amazing! I had a slight issue with my garbage disposal and I put in a request as low priority....they were at my door an hour or so later and done within 20 mins! It was great and nice to know the team here is reliable.

I love my apartment home. It’s perfect! The rent is a great price for the bundle. I cannot say enough about the Leasing office and Management staff. I must say there are lots of inspections however, it has made me feel safe and secure. The maintenance team always takes care of that in a timely manner.

This is an amazing place to live! I’ve been here for a while and I must say…. The new office staff is very responsive and a pleasure to speak with. As long as I have been here over the years the maintenance team has never missed a beat and the Manager Annette has made living here worth it, although my renewal rent increased last year. I will probably renew again, especially if they spice up the dog park and open up more reserve parking by my building.
