I’ve been living at Wren at Northlake for over a year now, and I couldn’t be happier. The community is always clean, the amenities are well-maintained, and everything still feels fresh and new. It’s a quiet, comfortable place to live. The staff here is great—always friendly and ready to help. But I have to give a special shoutout to Morgan, the property manager. She truly goes above and beyond for residents, making sure any concerns are addressed quickly and always bringing a positive energy. It’s clear she cares, and that makes a huge difference. I’m excited to renew my lease and keep calling this place home. If you’re looking for a well-run, welcoming community, I highly recommend.

It is among my most cherished apartments. A neat place. The process of moving in is quite easy. Excellent facilities, Gym, Swimming pool, Dog parks and plenty of parking, also Excellent neighbors. The staff who does the maintenance is outstanding and very super friendly The entire front desk staff/Manger are very welcoming, and "Hannah Lewis" in particular is a huge asset. She has an excellent work ethic. Being Asian, I have seen several awkward situations where people were impatient because they did not comprehend the English lingo we were using. I went to the front desk since I needed some explanations. She is incredibly kind, comprehends the questions, and provides a thorough explanation, even though I visited at lunch. In my experience, she is one of the most helpful people in explaining the Cortland payment procedure or any kind of queries/concerns related with apartment. Kudos to Entire cortland team Things are going well so far. I will keep update ater 6 months.

I have been living here for almost five years and it has been an amazing experience. The maintenance team does an amazing job with maintaining and keeping the complex clean and beautiful. I can’t say enough about the maintenance team, always readily available when emergencies happen no matter what time of the day it is and always with a smile. I just want to say thank you to Anthony, Nate and Brandon for going above and beyond by picking up the trash (valet) daily, pressure washing the buildings and being efficient in any maintenance that needs to be done. You three are greatly appreciated and they couldn’t have picked a better team to maintain this apartment complex. Thank you for all that you do and great job!!!

I moved into the building in September. It is currently November and it has been one of the best experiences in an apartment that I’ve ever had. It’s clean. Sometimes smells like dog urine in front of the gate outside by building but I rarely hear my neighbors.

I have stayed in this apartments complex for a year and a half. It is truly one of the best. Everything is organized and well-maintained. The staff is amazing, especially Justin, Hana, and Liana; they are all very helpful. Whenever there is a breakdown or problem, they respond very quickly. My husband and I decided to downsize but we were very nervous about it, but Cortland Wren has made our transition seamless. We love it here, the quiet is just what we needed. Since moving to the new side of Cortland Wren Northlake I have been enjoying the personal entrance way. I enjoy the windows since, my old residence did not have any in the unit we lived in. Having the Amazon Hub and mailroom was helpful and makes it convenient to get mail and packages. Also, the layout with all hardwood flooring and the double door entry to the second bathroom is awesome. I am glad we made the choice to move to the new upgraded residence.

ANTHONY FROM THE MAINTENANCE TEAM IS EXCELLENT. I WANTED TO RATE HIM TEN PLUS STARS BUT IT ONLY ALLOWS FIVE!!!! My AC unit was facing some issues and not only did he QUICKLY resolve my issue, but he went out of his way to provide resources, took care of the issue himself, and provided all possible outcomes. ANTHONY ALWAYS can always be seen with a smile and positive demeanor. Anthony always speaks to residents around the community which makes it feel like HOME. He is the PRIME example of why being a resident at Cortland WREN NORTHLAKE is by far the best experience I’ve ever had. The sweetest community! The leasing girls are so welcoming and if anything happens, they notify me right away through texts or calls. I know I can call them and they won’t make me feel like a bother. I called the maintenance hotline late Thursday night because of a water issue. The next morning Justin came and not only did he fix the water issue in my sink, he also did another walk through in my apartment to make sure everything else was the way it was supposed to be. He then said he would be right back and came back with the entire construction kit and fixed and cleaned anything he found that needed care and any concerns i had he was the one to take care of them! He is absolutely wonderful, kind, friendly and super knowledgeable about the complex all around and also the intricate facilities of each apartment. I am truly grateful for him being the one to come to my door.

Delise was amazing! Right from my initial tour, then the application process and finally signing my lease. There were so many beautiful floor plans to choose from in their new Phase II development and after changing my mind three different times, I finally decided on the floor plan I loved the most. Went to tour this location a few weeks ago and loved every second of it! Jessica was the one who helped me out and she was so helpful, so kind, and very informative! This location was very nice, very safe, and very well kept! Apartment hunting is hard and it can be hard to trust people but they definitely know what they're talking about here! They’ll answer all your questions, take you around in their own golf cart/car so you don’t have to walk too much, and show you every floor plan so you can choose what fits best. Definitely recommend this place and Jessica to help you!

I toured these apartments last week with Jessica and Hannah! I absolutely love the apartments always have but shoutouts to the leasing ladies because they were on it and made the apartments and experience of touring EVERYTHING!!! These ladies took their time and were soooo detailed with everything by showing me and my daughter multiple apartment floor plans while also telling me all the little differences and details, and Jessica is new to the property and was still on point with it, love it. As a former leasing consultant I know what to look for in a leaser so I tend to “shop” the apartments that I’m looking to live at cause I not only want the apartment to be nice but also the leasing staff, their more likely to handle any problems that may occur with actual care. The ladies did an amazing job and made me even more excited to live here when the time comes, thank you!!!

My air conditioner’s fan was working but their wasn’t any cool air coming from the vents. I submitted a work order via the community website and received a call from Darren, the very next day. Due to weather constraints, Darren wouldn’t be able to begin working on the repairs until after the upcoming weekend. He came out first thing the Monday morning to begin work and assess the issue. He continued trouble shooting the air conditioner and trying to determine the cause of the malfunction. Darren tirelessly worked, every work day for two weeks. He had to replace several parts of the system until it was fixed. He cleaned up after himself every single day he was in my home and he ensured that my family and I where comfortable by installing a portable air conditioner as a temporary fix, until he was done. It is my opinion that Darren went above and beyond the minimum standard to ensure that he successfully repaired the air conditioner. I hope to receive Darren for any future maintenance in my home.

Beautiful luxury apartments with granite countertops, vinyl flooring, and stainless-steel appliances. It's in a great location across from the mall, countless retail stores, and various restaurants while situated between I-77 and I-485. So having relatively short commutes to anywhere in the city is pretty convenient. But even better are the amazing staff members they have. Hannah and Delise in the front desk are always welcoming and quick to help us with any issues. The maintenance department with Anthony is always prompt and professional with their service. By far my favorite home I have had!

Pretty quiet and nice events for residents. There is ongoing construction starting around 7:30 am each morning that can be heard depending on whic buildng you live in until 6 pm each weekday. This has been ongoing since my move in in June. Hannah in the leasing office is great!

Wren Northlake is the place to be! This place has so much to offer like tall ceilings , nice staff, routine cleaning like hallway vacuuming and filter refresh, community events, and neighborhood watch. You get what you pay for and although the housing market is crazy, they do their absolute best to give you what you pay for. They consistently seek open feedback , and apply recommendations, I have seen it for myself! I wouldn’t choose anywhere over wren ! The leasing staff named are so sweet, and there’s more I just can’t think of at the moment !

I had a virtual tour with Liana and it was wonderful! She showcased one of the brand new Phase II one bedroom apartments, which looked very spacious, had a patio, a beautiful built-in “mudroom” space for hanging coats and shoes (very unique for apartments in the area and a lovely addition that makes the unit stand out!), and a fan with a light in both the living room and bedroom. It has a walk-in closet, and the washer/dryer setup is right in the closet, so you don’t even have to carry your laundry anywhere to do it! Parking is plentiful, so it doesn’t seem like there would be any issue with personal or guest parking, plus if you need to drop off a moving trailer there is enough space. Delise was amazing at helping us find an apartment to live in! I was on a quick time frame, as I had 30 days to move out of my previous place, and we were able to make the application and apartment process speedy. There was a week turnaround which was really good. The leasing office has been nothing but kind and we're so excited to be living here. We love the amenities and it's a clean, friendly, and quiet apartment complex. I would definitely recommend it 😁

Overall, very good. So far no complaints. The team is responsive to any problem my roommate and I might have. I feel safe at night and would often see security driving around. The area is kept clean and the community is fairly quiet.

I want to continue to express my gratitude to the entire staff at Cortland Wren Northlake. I am so grateful how the office staff and the maintenance staff are here. They are like family to me. I've lived in two different units at this property and they are always professional and prompt with their service and addressing any concerns that may arise. They work with a sense or urgency and pride. The team here has been selected perfectly. They all work so well together. I can't even explain it. If you were to take a puzzle, this team together makes up all of the pieces of the whole picture. They have done so much for me I can't even begin to type it all out. I know I don't plan on staying for a long time but they make you not want to leave. I've never stayed at a community where everything flows. I love living here! The community is beautiful, neighbors are nice, and the staff (property managers, leasing agents, maintenance crew) are very responsive and quickly resolve any concerns. They even host a number of community events (paint and sip, pizza and bingo, coffee and pastries, etc.) to bring residents together. Floor plans are both affordable and beautiful.

I lived here since 2021 and when I tell ya’ll this is the new home you’re looking for, THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO MOVE HERE! Not only is Liana Reif the best property manager I’ve ever come across, but the entire leasing office team and maintenance team are outstanding. This is the only apartment complex that I dread leaving when I finally get a house. No mold, no parking issues, no loud music, no crazy incidents involving my car/other cars/people, reliable trash valet, amazing communication, awesome doggy park, cute pooches and friendly neighbors, awesome monthly resident events, year-round salt water pool, and a futuristic clubhouse 😍 I love Cortland Wren Northlake for life! The only issue you may deal with are little earwigs but they only come out when it rains and you leave your door open too long for them to creep in. Thank ya’ll so much for setting the precedent on what a luxury apartment is! Its worth every penny!!! PS. If you decide to take a tour, ask them about the “apartment change option within 6 months

Very nice looking apartments, not luxurious, but good looking. The clubhouse is nicely done - there's a fridge, freezer, kitchen area. The pool table is worn down but thankfully level. Pool area outside is nice looking, but pool water very cold. Inside of apartments are spacious and new looking. Plenty of windows for light and breeze ways. Kitchen has adequate space for several people preparing meals. Nearby freeway so may be noisy. Patio very very small. Overall 4 stars seems appropriate.

The community is quiet and convenient to everything. The staff is pleasant. The service is here is top notch. They have responded to each and every request promptly. I can always get a live person on the phone when I call the rental office. I love the way they communicate all things regarding the community. They keep the residents fully aware.

Hannah is absolutely awesome! She’s always helpful and has a pleasant attitude. The maintenance team is friendly and address any repair concerns the same exact day. The apartments are spacious and modern. My only concern is noisy neighbors. I stay on the 2nd floor and the resident above me has no regards for neighbors or respect for quiet hours. I’ve been trying to get this issue resolved for a few months and nothing seems to work. Besides that, my experience has been good.

If you are looking for a community with friendly staff, exceptional accommodations, with a safe environment in a great location, Cortland and Wren is the one! The friendly staff is available to answer questions and provide support. Their smiles are infectious and will truly brighten your day! The weekday trash valet, saltwater swimming pool/hammocks and a balcony overlooking the duckpond are my favorite amenities. The well lit parking lot, and gated building are also a plus! The mall is a short distance away, as well as lots of restaurants and a greenway. This is a wonderful community to live in!

I have been a resident at Wren since October 2021. I love living here. My one-bedroom is spacious and comfortable. I feel safe enough taking walks around the community by myself. It’s a very peaceful and beautifully landscaped environment. The management is very attentive and friendly. Management always notifies residents prior to routine maintenance visits. They always send follow-up messages once visit is completed. My daughter visits me frequently and is thinking about leasing her next apartment here at Wren.

I have had NO problems and for matters that arose, the staff has helped and handled for me expeditiously (another PLUS). I honestly never see myself moving because I love it here. If you are looking for a kid friendly, or single friendly place to stay with modern appliances, upgraded appliances, kind atmosphere, fun environment- WREN is where you should be. I honestly can say wren has treated me with care. Take it from someone who’s been living here with two children going on 3 years. It’s to love !

As I entered the property I noticed how secured the levels of apartments were with the security gates, it was clean and just beautiful inside and out. Most of all the agent Hannah was very professional. I did not have an appointment I just popped up and she attended to me after she finished with the client she was with. Most importantly she acknowledged me when I walked in. She was very professional and thorough. This is the second property I visited today and I must say you have some great Staff. I been in property management for 14years and the young ladies I came in contact with today is great at what they do.

Where do I even begin? Hannah L. took her time to make sure that I had the home I wanted as well as needed. By her being empathetic to my needs, I felt as if we had connected, building a working relationship I could trust. This community is an extremely beautiful, well-kept and peaceful community. The office staff is extremely accommodating and friendly also. They always greet you with a smile and are very helpful to my needs and are quick to attend to any problems that arise. It could not be in a better location amidst a lot of shopping stores, restaurants, transportation and schools. Overall, this is a great place to call home.

We’ve really enjoyed our time at Cortland Wren Northlake. We moved to Charlotte with zero knowledge of the city and we got so lucky finding this resort-style community, also right by the highway so easy access to Uptown. Neighbors are friendly and it’s very dog-friendly. My dog loves to say hi on walks and at the dog parks.

Cortland Wren at Northlake was definitely home to us when we moved to Charlotte. The townhouse was an excellent experience and comes highly recommended. Overall, quiet/peaceful community and nice amenities. The only negative was the change in schedule for valet trash pick up (went from AM to early afternoon).

Beautiful luxury apartments with granite countertops, vinyl flooring, and stainless-steel appliances. It's in a great location across from the mall, countless retail stores, and various restaurants while situated between I-77 and I-485. So having relatively short commutes to anywhere in the city is pretty convenient. Shoutout to our leasing agent, Hanna, who had amazing service and gave us a great tour. At that point in time, we visited multiple luxury apartments in the area, and this is the one that stood out.

As a resident I definitely recommend this place for prospects. Valet Trash is my favorite service and it’s very convenient. The pool area is always clean and the resident events or giveaways are always unique. I love living here and it’s stress free. I never have to worry about my safety because the security company is always on patrol.

I am a foreigner lived in the United States for 6 years renting here and there. This is the best apartment I ever lived. Enjoyed convenience and a quite neighborhood for 2 years. I had to relocate to other state, otherwise I would stay here. The apartment construction is very new, and so are all the electronics and decorations. I never need to file any maintenance request during the 2 years. And there are Regular maintenance check with notifications ahead. Spacious rooms, with embed shelves in the living and bedroom. Very nice carpets. You barely will hear any sound from your neighbors. Location is convenient. Close to I77, I485. Groceries and north lake mall are within 5 minutes drive. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. The apartment buildings are separated for quite a distance from each other. So you can have privacy and don’t feel crowded or noisy or don’t need to worry about the block of sunshine. I don’t worry to take a walk around midnight and often see sheriff patrol around. This is my second time around living at Wren. The first time around, I loved it. I had to move prematurely because the family above me had kids that were extremely loud and noisy. This time around, I'm still loving it thus far. I wish they had elevators though, especially at buildings that have 4 floors. That much be a pain to make it to the top using the stairs. Besides that, the staff my first time around and now are really nice and helpful.

Our move in process was about as easy and seamless and you could hope for. We did everything online and submitted all documents by email or through the portal which made it simple. When move in day came, not only were we greeted at the door by Emilio, but he knew who we were and had everything ready to go for us. After signing a few last things he walked us to our unit to make sure everything looked good. Not only was the apartment very clean and inviting, Morgan had gone above and beyond by leaving us a little welcome home board and a card about the cat that was supposed to move with us but got sick and didn’t make it. It was heartbreaking to be moving without our baby, but the card was wonderful and much more than I expected. We have been here two months now and are very happy. We have a great view off the patio, it’s quiet and clean, and maintenance has been very good about assisting if anything needed to be done. All in all we are very happy to be here. I was very impressed with the amenities, but above all else I was impressed with the Team here at Wren Northlake. I have personally interacted with Emilio and Emily, and they have gone above and beyond to make my stay here one of the best experiences that I've had in Charlotte. We love this community. We have lived here for 3 months and have had no issues. The finishes they provide make me feel like I live in “a real home” instead of a rented place. Joseph was amazing when we did our tour and paperwork. Even though we are near the mall and expressways, you can’t hear any noise. Very convenient to everything. Wren is an amazing community to live at. Staff is so friendly and helpful. I have zero complaints. I am able to run at night and feel safe which is very appreciated. Thank you for all you guys do , you guys are awesome.

Friendly staff, great looking community, secure and safe and located near great shopping and lots of hiking trails. I usually go up to the white water rafting center and its only 15 min drive there and 20/25 min drive to uptown during the morning rush hr

We moved into Wren Northlake while we were building our new home. At first I was really nervous about adjusting from a house and neighborhood back to an apartment- but from the minute I toured the apartment I was in love. Not only with how well designed the apartment was, but how responsive and helpful the team was. Even before we moved in we were treated like a part of the Wren community. Now I am honestly a little sad to leave.

Very Good. At Wren the apartment quality for the money is superb. The front office are very friendly and easy to interact with. It's fairly quiet as most young people are priced out of living here. Ease of access to 77 and 485 and plenty of restaurants and Northlake mall.
