I accidentally hung up before I could do the survey after making a service call tonight. I was really appreciative of how quickly I was able to get through to a live customer service representative on a Saturday at 5 o'clock, especially on the Thanksgiving weekend. I didn't catch his name but the gentleman was incredibly helpful, quick, friendly, and took my concern seriously. Knowing the Cortland community values safety is 5 star review worthy in my book! I didn't like anything about Cortland...I loved EVERYTHING about it! I told my leasing consultant Ren that he could've honestly walked my mother and I around the property silently pointing at stuff and the place would've sold itself! However, he went above and beyond and knew every single about the place. I love how he explained the culture of Cortland and how there is a thriving community with events throughout the month. I loved how the property makes you feel like you're in your own little world. Ren said tenants treat their apartments like its their home. He also used terms like, "this property is your backyard," "if you move in and need a storage unit, let me know so we can get you one closest to your apartment." As a woman I love that I don't have to leave my complex to have a good time. Overall 10 stars but they only let you rate up to 5! The day I toured Cortland, I had seen 4 properties with one more left after Cortland. NOTHING topped your property. I even had some really nice leasing consultants...

I toured with my cousin last month with my cousin and was in complete awe. I was already familiar with the sister property as I previously lived there but this is almost like a resort. From the pool, coffee shop, volleyball, it has everything you can think of. Gorgeous!!

I have been touring rental properties of West Nashville over the past week, relocating from the Northeast. Some had nice full amenities, some had almost none but Cortland West is the all around best for anyone who enjoys being outside their four walls. Bicycle storage & workshop, great pool & gym (with classes), and enough green space to walk or lounge with your pup outdoors. Ren really takes pride in the environment and community at West Cortland and it shows. I've even noticed people leaving their own complexes to come visit Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee for live music and its friendly environment. For me, other complexes just don't compare. Well done Ren & Co.! I look forward to some fun community events and getting to know Cortland even better!

I can’t express how GREAT this place is! From the beginning of touring the community to move in day, Ren was phenomenal in every way with his help! He even brought us waters when we were unloading last night to move in. This place is definitely top notch and the best experience I’ve ever had moving into an apartment community. The property is nice and the apartments have great amenities. Our leasing agent, Ren, was amazing. He allowed my partner and I to really take in the property and make sure it was the right fit for us for our first place together. We immediately felt welcome to join the community and were accommodated warmly. Ren even let my out of town parent tour the property before our move in date. I cannot say enough good things about the property and leasing agent Ren. I had scheduled a tour after driving past the property. At this point, I had toured a number of other apartments in the area and was feeling very discouraged. However, I was extremely impressed with the property overall as well as Ren's enthusiasm and transparency as an agent. Ren was very thorough and spent over an hour with me showing me around, answering my questions, and providing me with all the information about living at Cortland West Nashville. In addition to the great management, the units and amenities are some of the nicest I have seen, and the property appears very safe and clean. As my time at Cortland west has now come to an end I must say this was a great decision living here! This apartment complex gives a wonderful community vibe and is inviting to everyone! Anyone who decides to live here is getting more than an apartment or house. They will be getting a home and a community! 10/10 recomend! Nashville, TN is one of the largest growing cities in the U.S. , which, would only mean cost of living would go up significantly and quality of service would go down. I will go on record to say that Cortland West does NOT adhere to the norm of high prices and low service in terms of rental properties! I just moved here last week and the representative who helped me move was fantastic! He really did everything he could to answer all my questions and to help me as much as possible! His name was Rendell Bryce, and I highly recommended anyone in Nashville, TN who is looking for a place to live that is both comfortable and affordable, you should definitely check this place out!

I LOVE living here! I have lived here almost 2 months now. Ren was my leasing agent and he made my move-in process easy and stress-free. I really appreciated how he took the time to do my in-home inspection with me as opposed to other communities that throw the paperwork at you and ask you to fill out if anything is not up to standard. As a single woman, this gesture was much appreciated. Not having to figure out how the shower operates or if the hot water heater has been turned on = game changer! I also love how the grounds are well-maintained and you can tell the place was designed with great detail. For instance, the hallways have air fresheners and the walkways around the community are well lit. I am so happy I decided to make this property my home.

Update Feb 2024: We’ve only loved living at Cortland MORE than when we first moved in over two years ago. We moved into Cortland West five months ago and we have NOT regretted that decision. This apartment is absolutely the best I’ve lived at, regarding both the gorgeousness of the property/amenities and the quality of the staff. The management is responsive, helpful, and caring. The maintenance staff are astonishingly quick and very courteous as well. Having the LTH coffee shop attached to the property is a definite plus and the gym is spectacular. Two months after moving in (~October 2021) the management company changed and there was a rough patch with the staff for a month or so. If you see poor reviews regarding management around that time, they were probably accurate. We were nervous. But it seems there was a shuffle and the individuals we’ve been communicating with in the last three months really have been phenomenal.

Cortland West is a phenomenal place to call home. I've been here for a little over 6 months and can't think of one area that doesn't deserve 5 stars. Ren and the rest of the leasing office staff are top tier at communicating everything going on around the property, making sure everyone is taken care of, and doing things the right way. The maintenance staff is quick to respond, friendly, and keeps the place spotless and running like a well oiled machine. The amenities are first class. The pool, dog park, fitness center, coffee shop, grills, fireplace, etc are all the best that I've seen at any apartment complex I've lived at or toured. The apartments are great as well, but it really is the people running the place that sets it apart from any other apartment community I've ever been to. You'd be extremely hard pressed to find anyone who is more friendly, fair, and competent than the folks at Cortland West.

The most beautiful complex in Nashville! The amenities and the service is excellent. I suggest everyone to move here. During the huge snow storm the staff worked around the clock to make sure that all of the residents' heat was working properly and snow was removed.

I have visited Cortland West on multiple occasions when visiting Nashville. This modern 5 star resort style apartment living is bar none as they have wonderful offerings for their residents like on-site coffee restaurant, two level gym with update equipment, meeting/work spaces, large dog park, multiple grills, amazing pool with cabanas to catch some sun, and more. I always enjoy my experience when at Cortland West and you will too.

This place is REALLY nice. Here are some boxes it checked for me off the bat: --When I saw my unit I was so pleased because it actually looked like the model I was shown! I've been burned on this in the last two complexes I lived in. --The gate in this complex actually works, unlike a lot of places that falsely advertise themselves as gated. They also have security patrol the area at night. --the valet trash service is seven days a week, as opposed to five days a week like a lot of places. There is also a dumpster/recycling area on site which was handy during the moving process; this may sound weird, but I appreciate that that area is kept clean and hidden away, so you don't see a big overflowing trash heap like in many complexes (and less likely to attract bugs!) --Kaitlyn in the leasing office answered all of my questions, understood the concerns I had as a woman living alone, was very thorough during the initial tour and on move-in day. The pool at this property is so nice such a great vibe in the summer and heated in the winter! Staff is also very friendly and helpful.

I love it over here. The community is really close knit. Tons of activities to do throughout the month. Made a lot of awesome friends here. The only complaint have is the parking. But overall, I would recommend. Pretty safe too.

The Cortland team has been great. One thing that I really appreciate is how they emphasize cleanliness around the community. I also love how dog friendly the entire staff and community is. Aside from that, all of my emails/calls are always answered right away and have been extremely helpful.

Beautiful property, Ren was our agent when we went to view the property. Very informative, and our tour didn’t seem rushed, even though we didn’t have an appointment. Everything you need is really on property. We ended up going with another Cortland to fit our family needs better but this property is highly recommended! Only 4 stars because I don’t actually live there.

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay in a Guest Suite over the weekend while visiting family. It was a terrific experience. The Suite was modern, beautifully decorated, clean, and just a building away from our family. We enjoyed starting the day at the coffee shop (on site) and had fun spending several hours at the beautiful swimming pool. We also grilled out at a community grilling area. This was the perfect way to spend time with our family and we would highly recommend it.

I have a few friends that love here and they speak non-stop about the community. Just while visiting, I have been greeted by my name countless times, invited to numerous resident events (even though I am only a guest), and have really felt at home here, which is ironic since I don't live here. The staff just seems to go above and beyond for their residents and guests. Plus the resident events are super interactive and the pool and 2-story fitness center are unmatched, even when compared to downtown properties. If we ever sell our house, Cortland West Nashville will be our top choice!

I have lived here for over a year and nothing beats the amenities and the people that live here. From a resort style pool, gorgeous 24 hour gym, to a lovely game room, you can never be bored. I love sand volleyball and it’s great that they have a court. Everyone is warm and welcoming and it’s easily to meet people at their 4-6 resident events they hold each month. Couldn’t recommend living here more!

I swung by about a week ago for a tour and I had the best experience with Ren. I would like to emphasize on the fact that this tour was not scheduled, but he left everything he was doing to give me a tour. This was probably the most detailed apartment tour I have ever had. I am not "a review" person, which means if you see my name on a review, you should take it into consideration. The complex itself is a beauty with amazing amenities. I mean they even let their tenants rent a separate apartment for $150/night if they have folks visiting (never heard of that) and offer free Yoga classes. It's a little bit pricey but after my visit, I thought it was worth it and nothing in Nashville is cheap anyway. I wasn't a fan of the fact that the majority of their 1B/1B have the W/D located in the closet, but that's a personal thing. Overall I had a great experience and will definitely recommend touring with Ren.

I have lived at Cortland West Nashville for a little more than a year and have loved every second of it! The community has top notch amenities from the state of the art two story gym to the resort style pool. Everyone is warm and welcoming and the leasing staff puts on four to six residents events (game nights, painting and sip, volleyball competitions, etc.) so it is easy to meet your neighbors. I can’t recommend living here enough!

Cortland's amenities are top notch, the gym is impeccable, dog park excellent socialization space for humans and pups, and pool area perfect for lounging. This on top of the grills, volleyball court (with cabanas), and fire pits give you opportunities to live your best life. Staff run a handful of events each month to also give residents an opportunity to connect. Units here are around market price for Nashville and are up to date and clean. Parking occasionally an issue is the only minor complaint about this West Side gem just down the road from every shopping need imaginable

I have been living at Cortland since June of 2022. I have lived in a few apartment complexes and Cortland West ranks number 1 compared to places I have lived at. Starting off the the beautiful complex and amenties is what caught my eyes when looking around for places to call home. I have a dog and have found the huge dog park very convenient for letting my dog still get the freedom running and interacting with other dogs. I also really enjoy all of the events Cortland host for its residents. It allows us to get to know our neighbors as well let us have a fun night without having to leave the complex. Lastly the excellent staff has been so kind and helpful. From the staff up in the front office to the maintenance team, they do a fantastic job of making every residents experience meet their expectations. Great complex overall.

This well appointed property is top notch and feels like living at a resort. I have stayed in an apartment here while visiting family and I am so impressed with all the amenities they offer their residents. Nashville, TN is one of the largest growing cities in the U.S. , which, would only mean cost of living would go up significantly and quality of service would go down. I will go on record to say that Cortland West does NOT adhere to the norm of high prices and low service in terms of rental properties! I just moved here last week and the representative who helped me move was fantastic! He really did everything he could to answer all my questions and to help me as much as possible! His name was Rendell Bryce, and I highly recommended anyone in Nashville, TN who is looking for a place to live that is both comfortable and affordable, you should definitely check this place out!

Stayed here for close to 2 years, back when it was owned by Novel. Cortland has managed the place well and the folks are the front office are polite and sensible. Amazon lockers, trash pickup, phone app gate control, walmart, west nashville access are all a plus. Pro tip: take the top floor and live like a king (or queen) since they have elevators.

I moved here about two years ago, when the complex was still finishing construction. It's always been beautiful and well-maintained. Maintenance requests are addressed quickly. Office staff is friendly and helpful. I have very little to complain about and will be here for the foreseeable future!

Highly recommend! I’ve lived in various places around the country and really feel at home here. The amenities are great, the coffee shop right on property is super convenient and there’s always something going on. The apartments are modern and cozy. I’ve made some really great friends here over the last couple of years and plan to stay for a while. Definitely beats out other places on value.

Cortland apartments have always stood out for me, I stayed at one in a different city and it was great, and this one is no exception. It’s nice knowing I’m not going to get railroaded by management upon move out with tons of BS fees. At the last one, my sink shattered on accident and I never had to pay a dime. Ren in the office is really cool and will go out of his way to help you as much as possible. I asked to see quite a few floor plans and he didn’t hesitate at all and was happy to show me. Thanks

Cortland west is more than just a apartment complex. It has everything that you would ever need to call a apartment a home. When you go in for a tour definitely ask for Ren Bryce because he has the best personality that will definitely make your day!!

Great place to want to live. Maintenance staff actually show a sense of urgency to a residents request. They are remarkably quite responsive to your maintenance concerns. The property manager, Ren was great to conversation with and you can really tell that he loves what he does to make that community thrive with excellence. His leadership and level of concern to the residents needs are a special quality that definitely supports the culture of CORTLAND properties. The property is very well kept and the swimming pool is beautiful as well as the amenities like for instance the gym and lounge area. I can rave about this property all year long because of its welcoming staff and beautiful landscaping. Nice place to live. I highly recommend CORTLAND West as a great and safe environment to live at. Great job to CORTLAND West of exceeding all of my expectations of a Community to live in.

Recently moved to the -one bed apartment . Though not too big , it takes care of the needs . It’s a 10 - 15 min drive to downtown . Good office space for working , swimming pool , coffee shop , it’s got decent facilities , community events , Walmart is close . Ren was fantastic in helping in moving in . Ren answered all my questions and office staff is very friendly . Definitely recommend .

one of the best, if not the best apts property in Nashville, its units are fantastic with an excellent view, many entertainment areas and fantastic pools with hot water, the amenities are always clean and excellent conditions. the people in the office are so friendly that they can be considered friends and the maintenance team is the best always willing to help and attend to the needs, a nice space for pets and a wonderful pet spa (your pet will be very happy). For starters what a great location. Just 10-15 minutes from downtown, also everything is in close proximity. Too, I can’t get over the office staff and maintenance staff. I have lived at many other communities, I will say that they are very tentative to their residence needs. Anytime, I have a question that pertains to my lease Becca the Community Manager is on it. Always answers my emails and questions in a timely manner. Emmanuel, the maintenance supervisor is very professional and can tell he takes pride in the work that he and his team does. Very well-maintained community would recommend to anybody looking on the west side of Nashville.

Cortland West Nashville has everything a luxury building should have. Weekly events, incredible amenities, & a very accommodating leasing staff. Ren worked with me to find the best deal for my current financial & living situation. I am very happy with my decision to move into this community!

My bf and I have lived at 4 different cortland communities and this one is the best one! The amenities make the price worth it and the maintenance team is so so attentive and friendly. The front office is awesome and the monthly events make us feel like an actual community!

Cortland West is by far one of the best apartment communities ever ...... Most beautiful place to live ... always community events ... always happy smiling beautiful people walking around .... Pool is best in Nashville and even heated ( open year around ) ..... The Office staff and Maintence staff are always on top of any issues and very helpful and quick to respond to any issues ....
