I had such a positive experience touring Cortland West Nashville, because of Ren. He lead an awesome showing of the grounds and had such a great attitude throughout the tour. He was very professional, positive, and knowledgeable of his job. He was not only compassionate and respectful of our time, but was attentive to our needs for an apartment. I would 20/10 recommend visiting this leasing office, and would HIGHLY recommend touring with Ren. The grounds were spectacular, the homes were beautiful, and the staff were friendly. I can’t say enough good things about the hospitality they projected.

I LOVE living here! I have lived here almost 2 months now. Ren was my leasing agent and he made my move-in process easy and stress-free. I really appreciated how he took the time to do my in-home inspection with me as opposed to other communities that throw the paperwork at you and ask you to fill out if anything is not up to standard. As a single woman, this gesture was much appreciated. Not having to figure out how the shower operates or if the hot water heater has been turned on = game changer! I also love how the grounds are well-maintained and you can tell the place was designed with great detail. For instance, the hallways have air fresheners and the walkways around the community are well lit. I am so happy I decided to make this property my home.

Update Feb 2024: We’ve only loved living at Cortland MORE than when we first moved in over two years ago. We moved into Cortland West five months ago and we have NOT regretted that decision. This apartment is absolutely the best I’ve lived at, regarding both the gorgeousness of the property/amenities and the quality of the staff. The management is responsive, helpful, and caring. The maintenance staff are astonishingly quick and very courteous as well. Having the LTH coffee shop attached to the property is a definite plus and the gym is spectacular. Two months after moving in (~October 2021) the management company changed and there was a rough patch with the staff for a month or so. If you see poor reviews regarding management around that time, they were probably accurate. We were nervous. But it seems there was a shuffle and the individuals we’ve been communicating with in the last three months really have been phenomenal.

Cortland West is a phenomenal place to call home. I've been here for a little over 6 months and can't think of one area that doesn't deserve 5 stars. Ren and the rest of the leasing office staff are top tier at communicating everything going on around the property, making sure everyone is taken care of, and doing things the right way. The maintenance staff is quick to respond, friendly, and keeps the place spotless and running like a well oiled machine. The amenities are first class. The pool, dog park, fitness center, coffee shop, grills, fireplace, etc are all the best that I've seen at any apartment complex I've lived at or toured. The apartments are great as well, but it really is the people running the place that sets it apart from any other apartment community I've ever been to. You'd be extremely hard pressed to find anyone who is more friendly, fair, and competent than the folks at Cortland West.

The most beautiful complex in Nashville! The amenities and the service is excellent. I suggest everyone to move here. During the huge snow storm the staff worked around the clock to make sure that all of the residents' heat was working properly and snow was removed.

I recently toured Cortland west Nashville and by comparison to other apartments in the surrounding areas, decided to sign a lease right away. The amenities, community focus, and general upkeep of the property was above average. Kaitlynn was my leasing consultant and she was excellent. I have visited Cortland West on multiple occasions when visiting Nashville. This modern 5 star resort style apartment living is bar none as they have wonderful offerings for their residents like on-site coffee restaurant, two level gym with update equipment, meeting/work spaces, large dog park, multiple grills, amazing pool with cabanas to catch some sun, and more. I always enjoy my experience when at Cortland West and you will too.

This place is REALLY nice. Here are some boxes it checked for me off the bat: --When I saw my unit I was so pleased because it actually looked like the model I was shown! I've been burned on this in the last two complexes I lived in. --The gate in this complex actually works, unlike a lot of places that falsely advertise themselves as gated. They also have security patrol the area at night. --the valet trash service is seven days a week, as opposed to five days a week like a lot of places. There is also a dumpster/recycling area on site which was handy during the moving process; this may sound weird, but I appreciate that that area is kept clean and hidden away, so you don't see a big overflowing trash heap like in many complexes (and less likely to attract bugs!) --Kaitlyn in the leasing office answered all of my questions, understood the concerns I had as a woman living alone, was very thorough during the initial tour and on move-in day. The Cortland team has been great. One thing that I really appreciate is how they emphasize cleanliness around the community. I also love how dog friendly the entire staff and community is. Aside from that, all of my emails/calls are always answered right away and have been extremely helpful.

Beautiful property, Ren was our agent when we went to view the property. Very informative, and our tour didn’t seem rushed, even though we didn’t have an appointment. Everything you need is really on property. We ended up going with another Cortland to fit our family needs better but this property is highly recommended! Only 4 stars because I don’t actually live there.

My wife and I had the opportunity to stay in a Guest Suite over the weekend while visiting family. It was a terrific experience. The Suite was modern, beautifully decorated, clean, and just a building away from our family. We enjoyed starting the day at the coffee shop (on site) and had fun spending several hours at the beautiful swimming pool. We also grilled out at a community grilling area. This was the perfect way to spend time with our family and we would highly recommend it.

I have a few friends that love here and they speak non-stop about the community. Just while visiting, I have been greeted by my name countless times, invited to numerous resident events (even though I am only a guest), and have really felt at home here, which is ironic since I don't live here. The staff just seems to go above and beyond for their residents and guests. Plus the resident events are super interactive and the pool and 2-story fitness center are unmatched, even when compared to downtown properties. If we ever sell our house, Cortland West Nashville will be our top choice!

I have lived here for over a year and nothing beats the amenities and the people that live here. From a resort style pool, gorgeous 24 hour gym, to a lovely game room, you can never be bored. I love sand volleyball and it’s great that they have a court. Everyone is warm and welcoming and it’s easily to meet people at their 4-6 resident events they hold each month. Couldn’t recommend living here more!

I swung by about a week ago for a tour and I had the best experience with Ren. I would like to emphasize on the fact that this tour was not scheduled, but he left everything he was doing to give me a tour. This was probably the most detailed apartment tour I have ever had. I am not "a review" person, which means if you see my name on a review, you should take it into consideration. The complex itself is a beauty with amazing amenities. I mean they even let their tenants rent a separate apartment for $150/night if they have folks visiting (never heard of that) and offer free Yoga classes. It's a little bit pricey but after my visit, I thought it was worth it and nothing in Nashville is cheap anyway. I wasn't a fan of the fact that the majority of their 1B/1B have the W/D located in the closet, but that's a personal thing. Overall I had a great experience and will definitely recommend touring with Ren.

I have lived at Cortland West Nashville for a little more than a year and have loved every second of it! The community has top notch amenities from the state of the art two story gym to the resort style pool. Everyone is warm and welcoming and the leasing staff puts on four to six residents events (game nights, painting and sip, volleyball competitions, etc.) so it is easy to meet your neighbors. I can’t recommend living here enough!

Cortland's amenities are top notch, the gym is impeccable, dog park excellent socialization space for humans and pups, and pool area perfect for lounging. This on top of the grills, volleyball court (with cabanas), and fire pits give you opportunities to live your best life. Staff run a handful of events each month to also give residents an opportunity to connect. Units here are around market price for Nashville and are up to date and clean. Parking occasionally an issue is the only minor complaint about this West Side gem just down the road from every shopping need imaginable

I have been living at Cortland since June of 2022. I have lived in a few apartment complexes and Cortland West ranks number 1 compared to places I have lived at. Starting off the the beautiful complex and amenties is what caught my eyes when looking around for places to call home. I have a dog and have found the huge dog park very convenient for letting my dog still get the freedom running and interacting with other dogs. I also really enjoy all of the events Cortland host for its residents. It allows us to get to know our neighbors as well let us have a fun night without having to leave the complex. Lastly the excellent staff has been so kind and helpful. From the staff up in the front office to the maintenance team, they do a fantastic job of making every residents experience meet their expectations. Great complex overall.

Stopped by a couple of days ago.These apartments have some of the best amenities and resident activities. Heated pool and community volleyball tournaments! Can’t beat that. Super friendly staff both in office and maintenance.

I moved to Cortland West last year and have absolutely loved living here. The property is beautiful with so many modern amenities. One of the things I love about this place is the amenities. They're top-notch and really make a difference in my day-to-day life. And the programming and events they offer are a great way to get involved with the community and meet new people. The apartments themselves are also great. I love the high ceilings - they create a sense of space and openness that makes the whole place feel even better. And the fact that you hardly hear any noise from your neighbors is a huge plus, too. It's a peaceful environment that's conducive to relaxation and productivity. The location of the complex is also perfect. It's close enough to the city to be convenient, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. And there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, which makes it even better. All in all, I would definitely recommend Cortland West to anyone looking

We love Courtland West Nashville! Out of the apartments I have lived in this is my ultimate favorite. The amenities are amazing and honestly incomparable from the other places I have lived. I had the opportunity to tour Cortland West Nashville and found it to be absolutely beautiful! This well appointed property is top notch and feels like living at a resort. I have stayed in an apartment here while visiting family and I am so impressed with all the amenities they offer their residents. The outdoor pool with cabanas, two floor gym, large dog park, multiple meeting spaces and offices, game room, grills, sand volleyball, on-site coffee retailer are all amazing perks that make Courtland West a spectacular place to live in Nashville. Close enough to the city with tremendous modern apartments that offer so much to their residents.

Nashville, TN is one of the largest growing cities in the U.S. , which, would only mean cost of living would go up significantly and quality of service would go down. I will go on record to say that Cortland West does NOT adhere to the norm of high prices and low service in terms of rental properties! I just moved here last week and the representative who helped me move was fantastic! He really did everything he could to answer all my questions and to help me as much as possible! His name was Rendell Bryce, and I highly recommended anyone in Nashville, TN who is looking for a place to live that is both comfortable and affordable, you should definitely check this place out!

Stayed here for close to 2 years, back when it was owned by Novel. Cortland has managed the place well and the folks are the front office are polite and sensible. Amazon lockers, trash pickup, phone app gate control, walmart, west nashville access are all a plus. Pro tip: take the top floor and live like a king (or queen) since they have elevators.

The amenities are great, the coffee shop right on property is super convenient and there’s always something going on. The apartments are modern and cozy. Cortland apartments have always stood out for me, I stayed at one in a different city and it was great, and this one is no exception. It’s nice knowing I’m not going to get railroaded by management upon move out with tons of BS fees. At the last one, my sink shattered on accident and I never had to pay a dime. Ren in the office is really cool and will go out of his way to help you as much as possible. I asked to see quite a few floor plans and he didn’t hesitate at all and was happy to show me. Thanks

The property manager, Ren was great to conversation with and you can really tell that he loves what he does to make that community thrive with excellence. His leadership and level of concern to the residents needs are a special quality that definitely supports the culture of CORTLAND properties. The property is very well kept and the swimming pool is beautiful as well as the amenities like for instance the gym and lounge area. Recently moved to the -one bed apartment . Though not too big , it takes care of the needs . It’s a 10 - 15 min drive to downtown . Good office space for working , swimming pool , coffee shop , it’s got decent facilities , community events , Walmart is close . Ren was fantastic in helping in moving in . For starters what a great location. Just 10-15 minutes from downtown, also everything is in close proximity. Too, I can’t get over the office staff and maintenance staff. I have lived at many other communities, I will say that they are very tentative to their residence needs. Anytime, I have a question that pertains to my lease Becca the Community Manager is on it. Always answers my emails and questions in a timely manner. Emmanuel, the maintenance supervisor is very professional and can tell he takes pride in the work that he and his team does. Very well-maintained community would recommend to anybody looking on the west side of Nashville.

Cortland West is the most incredible apartment complex! I work in housing and have seen it all, and Cortland by far has the best amenities, leasing staff and maintenance team. My roommate and I moved into Cortland West in May 2022. We love it here. We have a beautiful 3 bedroom and it is the perfect layout. Cortland has the best amenities in Nashville. We have friends over all the time because it's a great place to hangout and play ping pong or eat outside, etc. I love showing off my apartment because I feel like I live at a resort. I used to travel every other week for work and I cut back on traveling because I don't want to leave this place. The only reason that I gave it four stars is because there isn't enough parking, but I still love it here. I would still move here even with the parking situation. The management is quick to respond to residents. Makenzie is hands down the best! She has been amazing from the beginning and should get a raise.

The election is a wonderful place to live. I had searched the Dallas downtown area for the last four months and could not find a place that offered both comfort and luxury. However, once I came to visit the election I was convinced it was the place for me. They offer a variation of floorplans and price points that are a great value for the space per square foot. I am very happy living at Cape May. I feel safe living here as the outdoor lighting is always on in each hallway nightly. I love entering my unit because there are no long hallways to navigate. The maintenance staff responds quickly to the request made for repair. the patios are great, love the high ceilings & moldings.

I literally could not be happier living here. It’s been an amazing experience so far and I plan on being here for a long while! The amenities are great, always super clean, and it’s never too crowded. The community events are great, and always have a huge turnout. I think it’s especially perfect for young professionals, individuals recently out of college, and people new to Nashville.

This place was so unreal! It felt like a resort to us, and we fell in love with the atmosphere. After Amber took us on a tour we knew we had to apply here. She was so friendly and informative! She did an amazing job. Definitely recommend this place. Fingers crossed we get to live here 🤞🏼

I have lived at Cortland West Nashville for 2 weeks now and absolutely love my experiences so far! Makenzie was extremely helpful and provided so much support throughout my entire process! She was extreemely accommodating and did whatever she could to ease my stress as I was completing the leasing process while deployed in another country. Additionally, the apartment was clean upon my arrival and the staff has checked in multiple times to ensure I am having a smooth transition. I signed my lease sight unseen and felt completely comfortable thanks to Makenzie. I would recommend Cortland West Nashville to anyone looking to move into the area.

Applied here and at the beginning of the aplicación everyone was super nice , there was a little Of miscommunication, Which got fixed before moving in. McKenzie and Sarah were very helpful and very patient when it came to giving me information and telling me what I needed enable for me to move in, Grate pool and great gym . I also love that they are dog friendly which was a major concern of mine.

I have had a great experience living here. Sarah has made sure that my experience here has been comfortable and made my move in a breeze. The staff is friendly and the maintenance team takes care of things really quickly. The fact that we have this resort-style pool with gills and pizza ovens and one of the most modern gyms I've seen in the city makes living here even that much better. Fire pits, hangout rooms and game rooms, beach volleyball... there's a spot for everyone no matter what you're into! I've had the option to move to another part of town and I honestly don't think I could at this point. You're centrally located to groceries and any other shopping you can imagine, restaurants... so close to I-40 that takes you right into the city in just a few minutes. Super happy here.

Moved here 4 months ago & it’s been the best decision yet! I love the amenities but the other residents keep the trash cans overfilled often which can create rodents!! :/ The Maintenance Team is amazing. Emmanuel is always super friendly & Johnnie and Jason are very hard working! The pool is always clean and the office staff are always great with any issue you may have. They’re super friendly as well which is a plus. It’s just an overall great property to live in. SN: the package room needs to be organized badly! A-Z by last name would be a great addition :)

I love living here at Cortland west! The amenities are amazing and such a good community to live in as well. To top it off though, Johnnie, who works in maintenance is such a great guy and a people pleaser. I talk to him almost every morning before I go to work when he is cleaning the pool and he always asks if I need anything done/fixed in my apartment. He is definitely the reason for the 5 star rating! So if ask yourself, should I live here? Yes, you should and also because you won’t find a maintenance crew like Cortland west.

We just moved in last weekend. The whole application process was not complicated with the help of Amber. She was super nice to us and helped us a lot. There were some tiny situations during that process but Amber and Makenzie solved them quickly. Cortland West is a beautiful place. The community is super friendly so far. I love the gym (2 floors) and the pool. Parking is free, and not hard to find a plot. Our apartment is very quiet. We barely hear from neighbors except their dog from balcony in the weekend. In the night there were a little bit noise from the Charlotte Pike, but the windows are heave enough to block them. Washer and drier are very new and easy to use. I submitted a repair request on Saturday and the guy came on Monday and solved it. The only thing I'm still trying to figure out is valet trash. Overall, the management of Cortland West is great.

It was clean, close to many stores, places to eat, and the highway. Only concern - one day there wasnt a nonpork meat iotion for breakfast, the waffles came out broken up (maybe some non stick spray?) TVs were good. Need HD.

Johnnie goes above and beyond with maintenance requests. He’s extremely friendly while working and gets service requests done in a timely fashion. He even finishes up by asking if there’s anything else we need while he’s there. He’s always a friendly face in the community and will stop to say hello or give you a wave when you drive by him. Hands down in my top 3 maintenance staff of anywhere I’ve lived before. Thanks for all you do here, Johnnie!

Recently moved into Cortland West’s community for a short term lease and had a great experience with Amber. She was incredibly knowledgeable, flexible, and willing to help in anyway. She made the annoying aspects of a move (especially for a 3 month lease) stress-free! They are quick to reply regarding any questions or issues you may have. The apartment is incredibly nice, the amenities are well managed, and the ease of access to facilities/operations (mail, packages, gate, rent, etc.) is great once all set up!

Moved into this apartment 3 months ago. Lovely place to live, great amenities, the pool is one of the best in Nashville. Everyone is extremely friendly. The parking can be a little bit of a pain, but there is an option to pay for private parking. The maitinance team are amazing especially Johnnie, I have seen him go out of his way to help tenants out, he even helped me move my sofa. Also have seen him from my balcony cleaning the trash cans and checking pool levels on his days off!

I came in and toured with Makenzie, she was absolutely amazing! My friend is moving to Nashville and I came to help her look. Makenzie did such a great job it made me want to break my lease and move in as well! She made us feel so welcome and was very friendly. She took her time with us and made sure to show us every amenity and floor plan we were interested in. The property was well maintained and there is just about every amenity you can think of!

I have lived at Cortland West Nashville for almost 6 months now and it has been everything I wanted and more. The apartments and the amenities are incredible but what really puts it over the top are the incredible staff in the office and on the maintenance team! Makenzie, Becca and Emanuel are so attentive and caring that I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else.

I just moved into Cortland West Nashville a week ago. I accepted a new job and planned my move all in two weeks time, the team in the office was AMAZING the whole way through the process. I was moving from Florida and they were so accommodating with my delays in arrival. My apartment was perfect when I arrived. The simple touches like the restaurant guide, paper towels and a cute branded coffee mug made it even more special! Thanks Becca, Mallory and Makenzie for being awesome! PS I’m obsessed with the coffee house just steps out of my door!

My girlfriend and I have recently been looking for places around the area to live with not much luck, however we saw the opportunity with Cortland online and decided to give it a try. Becca immediately met us at the door of the leasing office when touring and welcomed us in. She was patient with us and was very informative answering all of the many questions about the property we had. We were unsure about specific floor type we wanted, but Becca was kind enough to show us several different units and all of the many amenities that Cortland-West Nashville had to offer. Gorgeous community with literally every amenitiy possible. We can't wait for summertime to try out the pool, sand volleyball court, and pizza ovens. Plus, my neighbor was just bragging about the live music events on the lawn that are always a big hit, so we are really looking forward to that. We love it here so far!!

We moved into Cortland West five months ago and we have NOT regretted that decision. This apartment is absolutely the best I’ve lived at, regarding both the gorgeousness of the property/amenities and the quality of the staff. The management is responsive, helpful, and caring. The maintenance staff are astonishingly quick and very courteous as well. Having the LTH coffee shop attached to the property is a definite plus and the gym is spectacular. Two months after moving in (~October 2021) the management company changed and there was a rough patch with the staff for a month or so. If you see poor reviews regarding management around that time, they were probably accurate. We were nervous. But it seems there was a shuffle and the individuals we’ve been communicating with in the last three months really have been phenomenal.

I took big a chance moving from Florida to Novel in February unseen but I am happy with my decision. There have been some growing pains since it was still under construction but that’s to be expected. All the amenities are beyond expectations except for the dog park. Was hoping it would be bigger with more shade and grass. Aside from that this place is amazing. The staff is wonderful. Reece helped me feel confident in my decision to move here by going out of his way to send me pictures of my exact unit and view I would have. He’s also been kind enough to grab packages from my doorstep and put them in the mail room when I’ve been out of town. I moved in during the winter storm and Tara helped me in a huge way by hooking me up with a storage facility. The staff is amazing. We recently had a focus group meeting to voice concerns and a week later they started putting words to action by installing more fences and holding mailing vendors accountable with our packages. I have been in Novel for just under a month now and have already met so many wonderful people! Management is helpful with questions, maintenance is timely, and residence have been exceptionally friendly :-) I went to a pool party, have enjoyed a few of the fitness classes, and my experience thus far has been great. Also -- I never hear anyone when I'm in my place (good noise-proof walls?) which is a huge bonus to apartment living!

If you have a dog this is the best place for you from the dog park, easy places to walk and many dogs in the community your dog will surely love it as much as mine. Thank God for this staff. I needed someone to let me into my apartment at 12am and they were there as soon as possible to help me out. On multiple occasions I’ve needed help getting my packages from the package room as well, and they’re always responsive and help me out. I also had an urgent maintenance issue a few weeks ago and they quickly resolved it. I’m so appreciative of the people who make this a fabulous place to live!!

We’ve loved our time at Novel West Nashville! We’ve been living here for about a year and don’t plan to leave any time soon. By far the best community I’ve been apart of in the 7 years I’ve lived in Nashville. All of the staff and residents are very friendly and genuinely care about creating a welcoming, social environment with regularly planned events from concerts at the on-site coffee shop every Friday night, to pool parties, happy hours at the bar across the street, free group work out classes, etc. There’s plenty of ways to get involved with the community and make friends. Highly recommend Novel West.

We love everything about Novel West Nashville! The neighbors, amenities and staff are the best and they treat us like kings and queens! Even our puppy Ella is happy with the dog park and dog spa! Morning coffee just a short walk to the coffee shop is the perfect beginning to any morning. I love the fact that although I work from home, I have access to the office/conference room space when needed for business. There is so much to love here!

From the time I toured my apartment in this community knew this where I am going to live next. Love my apartment for its best sunlight I ever had in any apartment I lived so far. Friendly staffs and cool neighbors. Parking is the only thing that’s not beyond expectations but it’s an variable experience and I never had to struggle to find one yet.
