Have been here for about a year and a half. In this time management shifted from Elme to Cortland. Throughout my time the office staff, Ali, Ibrahim, Helen and Daniel have always went the extra mile to support any questions or concerns I have had. Additionally, maintenance has always been available when needed or for an emergent issue. The clubhouse amenities are great and it's really nice to see the entire community in the middle of a 'sprucing up' from the new management company. The customer service is top notch and am thankful to have found a place to call home.

I just moved into the community, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! From day one, the entire staff has been welcoming, friendly, and genuinely committed to making me feel at home. A huge thank you to Helen for making the move-in experience exceptional. She is incredibly knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and truly cares about the residents. She took the time to answer every question, explained everything thoroughly, and made sure every detail was taken care of. There arrived mixed reviews on this place but I can tell you that my experience has been excellent thus far. From the application process thru move in. Helen and her team have been great to work with. I am enjoying my space. Neighbors are all nice so far. My dog is in heaven with all of his new friends. I'd recommend living here because it is so convenient to everything you can imagine.

I have been living at Cortland Alexandria for a little over a year now, and I can honestly say the changes since the transition from Elme Alexandria have been incredible. The community continues to improve day after day, and it’s clear that the team truly cares about both the property and its residents. The leasing team: Ibra, Helen, and Ali are always professional, friendly, and willing to help. They go above and beyond to make residents feel welcomed and valued. Daniel, the Community Manager, has done an outstanding job leading the property and implementing positive changes that have made a noticeable difference throughout the community.
