I have been living here for 2 years now and I think it makes a big difference when you live somewhere where you can communicate and rely and feel safe with the community and the leasing office. I feel all of those things living here. All the people that work in the leasing office are kind and attentive, Im thankful to have the comfort in knowing they are there, they listen, and work things out quickly. I would highly recommend living here in large part to the team at Cortland Sugar Land. When I was touring complexes before we selected this one my decision was swayed when I had unpleasant experiences with the leasing offices so i think this makes a difference.

When we were searching for a place to rent for our daughter, while attending college nearby, we came across Cortland Sugar Land. The first thing I noticed was how beautifully the grounds are kept. Everything is so green and clean. It’s honestly one of her favorite things about living here (how nice it is). Not to mention that the staff is great and all have a friendly vibe. We rented a small apartment for her, and she loved it. They were great to work with, and helpful to our needs when moving in and moving out. Highly recommend!

This place is home, new to the area but Cortland made this home. Cortland is like a retirement place without the retirement. We police ourselves, don’t like noisy or disruptive neighbors. So if you come here with some bs, you can leave or not move in. The place is clean and organized. The staff is 100%. Bunch of LEOs live here too so the place feels safe. They’ll tow cars if they have expired tags or just abandoned. Rudy’s BBQ and Taco Bell are a walk away. Hidden in the bushes this place is so green and peaceful.

I love everything about living here! Coming from a house, I was initially worried about downsizing, but the built-in garage made the transition so much easier. There’s plenty of storage space and great privacy. The community is peaceful and quiet. The office and maintenance staff are fantastic, and everything is always kept in top-notch condition.

The staff is friendly and attentive. If anything needs fixed they come right away. The host fun get togethers. The pool is tip top. Everything is awesome, unless, of course, if you need your dishwasher to clean your dishes. If however, you enjoy handwashing dishes, this is the place for you!

I have lived here for almost 2 years and this is one of the nicer complex's I have lived in for this price range. Recently I had an issue with my gate opener at 2am and John the service manager woke up overnight to help me get into the complex. The next day Alishan and Sandy in the front office were able to come up with a permanent solution in a matter of hours when I originally believed it would go on for at least a couple of days. All that being said the staff is really nice, if you need help they are there for you and if you do not need anything they do not bother you like other complexes do. If it is in the budget I recommend coming to take a tour here.

Beyond impressed. I have had some bad apartment experiences in the past and many hassles while moving from community to community. I was skeptical when introduced to Alishan by a few friends of mine. I was prepared to be blindsided or ignored but I am so glad to say that was not even close to the case. Alishan was completely transparent and always available. He was kind enough to explain things to me and even made himself available after hours if needed which I have not seen others do before.

Wowed by my experience living here since 2017. The office staff are amazing and are professional and go above and beyond with service. The grounds are gorgeous and quiet and the amenities are clean and new. The Maintenance team (John and Augustine) are awesome and requests are taken care of within 24 hours (usually sooner). Highly recommend! The office staff are super helpful and professional, best ever! I am grateful to call Cortland my home

What makes it amazing is not because it’s clean and well maintained but the staff. The staff literally take the whole cake . Amazing people such as John ( service manager ). Alishan , Augustine and many more folks who always try to make sure everyone needs taking care of . If any from Cortland higher ups read this , you guys better raise these people salary because the amount of work they do and the support they give is amazing. If I wasn’t in the process of building my own property, I would never leave .

Not only are the units well-designed, but the grounds are well-kept and the amenities exceed my expectations. Let me start by saying this is one of the best communities to live in. The Assistant Manager Shandira is super sweet and not only that, but shes highly informative and professional as well. The management is very good. They are very quick in responding to your requests. Pricing is reasonable for the amount of square footage youre getting as well as a garage, 3 bedrooms, and a huge laundry room. A huge plus is that there’s also a free car wash inside the community! If you are looking to move around the area, I would highly recommend these apartments. 10/10

I love Cortland Sugar Land! The apartments are modern, spacious, and reasonably-priced. Luxury amenities, including garages, the gym and pool, and a great location just far enough away from the city but close to entertainment/shopping/dining, make it a great property. Personable staff (shoutout to Taigi!) that always go above and beyond to ensure resident satisfaction, which I think sets this complex apart. Overall, I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment in the area.

My husband and I are relocating from NYC to TX and were super anxious about all the details leading up to it and let me tell you something! We were relieved to find such an amazing apartment complex @CSL but not only because it was so pretty and well maintained upon our arrival, but because the assistant community manager Stephanie was unquestionably accommodating, knowledgeable, upbeat, and welcoming. We stumbled in a day before our appointment and were immediately taken care of. She was very patient with us as we wanted to see a few different layout options and guided us on our best option for our growing family. This community is well maintained and secured which was a big plus for us. She followed up with us after our visit to keep us updated and her thoroughness and attention to our needs sets this place apart from A LOT of places we’ve considered.

We just moved into our new home at Cortland Sugar Land and we could not love it more. As someone who travels a lot for work, it's a huge relief to know that my wife and son will be safe and secure in a community-oriented place. The fact that it's zoned to a fantastic elementary school for our son is also a major plus. The layout of our apartment is fantastic, with a townhouse-style vibe that we love, and the garage is a huge bonus for our family. We're so happy to call this place home.

Not too long ago I had a personal problem which made me need to move and everyone said to go to cortland sugar land. Not knowing much I thought they said that for the location. I was wrong. The team was so amazing and so helpful in helping me through tough times and made life so much more fun. The events they had was always amazing. I ended up deciding to move here for good. Love the team.

I recently came to tour this complex and the staff was so friendly. They offered me a coffee when I arrived and we chatted about my upcoming move and their pricing in a very comfortable and casual way over coffee. I immediately felt at home. Even the maintenance team was so kind when Stephanie introduced us on tour. A wonderfully welcoming experience and I can’t wait to put my application in soon.

The events here are top notch and I’ve never been a person to go to these things before moving here. Stephanie is so good at organizing these things and we are so grateful. Even just food trucks are so awesome to have on the days you don’t want to cook. Lease here!

Going on my second year living at Cortland and it's been a great experience so far with no plans of going elsewhere. The entire staff, from office to maintenance, is exceptional!!! Recently moved to another unit after the first year and had a minor issue with the shower pressure. Alishan, Stephanie and their team went above and beyond to get it resolved quickly and professionally. Augustin even took his shoes off at the door, lol. Great community even better staff 👏

After taking a new job and temporarily relocating to the Houston area for a few months I began researching one bedroom apartments as hotel rooms weren’t a long term option for me. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered Cortland Sugar Land Apartments. The close proximity to my job, access to many businesses, and the safety that the gated community provides were some of the main factors. The property is very well landscaped and maintained. The leasing agent Stephanie was very helpful and knowledgeable in answering all of my questions upon taking a tour of the property. She is always either immediately accessible or very prompt when returning my calls and even helped with making the process of activating utilities and Wi-Fi seamless. I have only lived at Cortland Sugar Land Apartments for a short while but I am happy with my choice as it is a quiet community providing the comfort of safety and many more attributes.

Gate is frequently broken and in the open position. Great facilities, workout room and pool. Nice property. Upstairs neighbors are very loud but community in general is very quiet. Office manager gets the job done but needs some coaching on how to speak with residents.

These apartments are so cute they have attached garages and have such a beautiful pool area. We were impressed by the size of the apartments closets. So spacious! The office team was so welcoming to my family. It made our decision so easy to stay here

We just sold our house much quicker than expected, so needed housing while we continue to look for a house. Cortland was a pleasant surprise - offering short-term leases, great floor plans, enclosed garages, fantastic pool…all at reasonable prices. Our leasing agent (Alishan) was extremely helpful - helping us find the right floor plan, and speeding us through the application process. The unit was very clean, and the couple minor issues at move in were quickly fixed by Alishan and his team. Very happy with our choice of Cortland!

We came here after lunch at Rudy’s BBQ, and decided to lease a 3 bedroom.. very quiet and so spacious. The 2 car attached garage sold us on this property. Mandy was fantastic and can’t say enough about her nice demeanor. She is truly a great addition to that property.

This is by far the best rental community I have ever lived in. I have lived here for over a year and I don’t have any plans of going anywhere else. The staff is absolutely AMAZING, from the office staff to the maintenance staff. John, in particular, goes above and beyond every chance he gets. He’s even helped me with things around my townhouse that fall outside of his purview. Always extremely professional and always with a smile on his face. He’s clearly happy to be here. That speaks volumes for the community.

I’m amazed at how nice the staff is from the office to the maintenance crew. Everyone is very respectful and caring. I do not have any negative comments that need to be vocalized. I moved from a house in another state and was very skeptical about the transition but I almost don’t want to buy another home because I’m comfortable.

I have lived at Cortland Sugarland for almost 2 months and everyday has been awesome. The staff is kind and professional. The grounds are maintained on a daily basis. Today the daily temperature reached 109 degrees and I could see the Maintenace staff checking the units and walking the grounds to make sure everyone was taken care of. This is wonderful community to be apart of, the staff here truly cares about their residents.

Toured with my friend a few weeks ago and really liked the fact that they have a car wash and garages. I have an old Mustang and I like that the complex has a garage to store it in and a car wash to make sure my every day car gets cleaned. Check this place out.

Every staff member is so welcoming and community spaces are always kept impeccably clean. I appreciate how much effort Cortland puts into making it feel like a community and have attended almost every single community event. Whenever my roommate and I have needed anything, the staff response has been immediate and went above and beyond not only to fix but also improve whatever was requested. I have lived at Cortland Sugar Land for over 2 year's now, and just renewed our lease. We love living here. The amenities are superb and well taken care of. The apartments are nice and the maintenance staff is quick to handle any issues that come up. John in particular is fantastic! I see him every morning where he's always tending to the property. He's got a great attitude, is friendly, thoughtful and makes every effort to accommodate. I scheduled a tour with this nice agent Stephanie. She is very nice and kind. The apartment looks very cool with the attached garage. This feels home. I didn't move in because I personally don't like first floor apartment and at that moment there were no upper floor apartments available for me. I love Courtland so far! It’s been 2 months going on 3, I know it’s very early but so far so great! The staff is literally amazing from head to toe! We saw our property on a weekend, by the next week we were approved and moved in! Since then, it’s been pure bliss! Me and my husband can’t wait to start our family here! Always responsive, professional and friendly environment, Chad, Mandy and Stephanie are always happy to help and truly care about their residents. The service team works so hard to keep the property clean. It's so quiet considering we are close to 59 and 99. The grounds are always kept clean, and the community is nice and quiet. The maintenance requests we put in are always handled promptly and efficiently. Overall, a great place to live. Very good place to live when I was first searching for an apartment my budget was lower than what these guys advertised online but a friend recommended I at least check them out in person. So I drove over and this is the highest end apartment complex I’ve seen at this price point the value definitely exceeds the price I pay per month. Most other apartment complexes I’ve been at have rude/ standoff ish staff Maintenance takes forever, very little regulation of who does what in the complex leading to loud neighbors and people blasting music at night. The only issue I’ve ever had here is 2 door to door salesman and both times I called the front office and they immediately drive over and kicked them out. And the value to price aspect I mentioned earlier is a combination of the quality of the units (no cheap cabinets or appliances), the general complex (always well kept and maintained as well as serviced like putting new mulch in over the whole complex), and the amenities not only do you get more stuff here but it

We sold our house not too long ago and moved into the Cortland Sugar Land location. Expecting mediocracy because we were coming from a house, however, we have experienced nothing but high-end living and a super friendly management group. I drove by this community and loved the look of the exterior so I decided to stop in. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the staff who were so sweet and pleasant. I met both Stephanie and Mandy who are actually the office managers. I haven’t visited a community yet where both the manager and assistant manager made it a point to say hello and ask what I was interested in. Stephanie took me on the tour and it was like we were old friends. It’s the little things that matter so much!

I just wanted to let the whole office know how much I appreciate the hard work they put in from the beginning of the process, I felt right at home in my new apartment. We were welcomed in with a nice sign with our names, this made my daughter happy. Maintenance has been great! Super attentive and fast service. They have been reliable and always with a kind attitude. The amenities are well kept and the apartment is spacious and very private. The attached garage is the biggest bonus here. Totally a hidden gem! It's like having a little house but with the added bonus of an actual community with the coolest neighbors and the best apartment complex pool I've ever seen. This complex is very nice, we were interested in a 3 bedroom apartment and Chad, Mandy and Stephanie are so friendly! Greeted us with good vibes and offered our little ones hot cocoa. I highly recommend you come by!

I enjoyed our visit to the Sugar Land location. After visiting nearby complexes we were sold on Cortland and how they treated us right down to walking us to the door with a smile. We’re selling our home and this will be our new home for a few years. Highly recommend

I went to look with my wife and was greeted by smiling faces. The attached garage is a great and very spacious!! The community is very well kept and you can absolutely tell this team cares truly about not only the complex but the people living with them. We are excited about our February move in!

I just wanted to let the whole office know how much I appreciate the hard work they put in from the beginning of the process, my daughter and I felt right at home in our new apartment. We were welcomed in with a nice sign with our names, this made my daughter happy. Maintenance has been great! Super attentive and fast service. They have been reliable and always with a kind attitude. The amenities are well kept and the apartment is spacious and very private. We have really enjoyed the community and everyone has been friendly and we feel safe in the neighborhood. The shopping centers near by has made everything very convenient. I would 100 percent recommend Cortland at Sugarland.

Such a beautiful complex I loved everything about it but the bonus is the agents there! I was helped by Katrina. The treatment I received from her is something you don’t find much of. Excellent service, made me feel so welcomed. She’s very professional & kind. Because of her I will be living here soon. She has an answer to every question, when it was time for a tour she was in no rush & detailed with the complex & what it offers, an eye- catcher. I had her full attention the whole time. 🤩🤩🤩. My company has been preparing to relocate a few of our employees - which would include me - to the Houston area. I was in town for an Astros home game this past weekend and had the chance to explore apartments in the area this week. I had the pleasure of meeting a young lady by the name of Sydney. She explained the application process for the complex, up sold the amenities, and provided amazing insight into the cultural environment of Houston and the surrounding area. I, not being a native of Houston, felt comfortable after this interaction that I will definitely return for further consideration should I be relocated. I definitely felt welcomed by this encounter with the staff.

I've been here nearly 6 weeks now. This is a great community, quiet, and very comfortable. The office staff are terrific! The maintenance staff goes out of their way to say hello. (No I have not needed any maintenance) There is so much to walk to, we rarely drive in the evenings.

Cortland Sugar Land is a great place to live. The limited buildings of only 2 stories make you feel as though you are in a neighborhood and not an apartment complex. The apartments are comfortable and the management staff are fantastic. I would recommend Cortland to everyone!

Living here in this Cortland Community has been so easy. They do a lot for their residents here. The team goes above and beyond to make sure the community is safe and well kept. I love living at Cortland Sugar Land. Mandy Garcia and Isela Martin are wonderful managers and no question or request is too much trouble. They are friendly and lovely! The grounds are gorgeous and my apartment is spacious and light. My dog Rex enjoys walking around the neighborhood and I find it quiet and relaxing here. Maintenance is also responsive within 24 hours! Highly recommend.

I have been living @ Cortland Sugar Land for almost a year. The office and maintenance staff are courteous and professional, especially Isela the assistant manager. Isela is honest, fair and has definitely gone above and beyond to make my family and I feel welcomed. 2020 was hard for a lot of families and I’m so grateful that Cortland Sugar Land was and will continue to be my home through 2021. I definitely recommend this community if you’re searching for a new home.

Cortland Sugar Land (Formerly the Venue @ Richmond) is wonderful! The management and staff are fantastic! Our apartment home is large and very comfortable; it includes all of the latest amenities, with state-of-the-art décor... private garages, awesome courtyards/ landscape...huge, family-oriented pool area … and various activities for tenants! This is a wonderful multicultural environment! Mandy; the Manager, Lana and Kayla; Associate Managers, as well as Augustine, the Environmental Engineer, are all the best! My husband, Ronnie and I have lived here for 4 years and we LOVE it! The prior manager, Jason, was also the coolest! The grounds and landscape are spectacular! The noise level is next to none existent...fellow tenants are kind and courteous! Ronnie and I still own a home in Missouri City, which we have had for over 30 years...but, we enjoy our new home so much, we want to live here for a long time, with God's blessing!

The peace and serenity, as well as the office personnel and staff are all positive attributes for our Cortland @ Sugar Land complex. Oh, did I forget to mention the landscape is absolutely gorgeous!! So much so that I will take it upon myself to pick up any occasional loose piece of paper or debris, as I want nothing to take away from the beauty and splendor of it all!
