I had a wonderful experience living at Cortland Sugar Land. From the day I moved in until the day I moved out, the entire experience was smooth and enjoyable. The community is clean, well-maintained, and offers great amenities that make everyday living comfortable and convenient. The maintenance and service team deserves special appreciation, especially Mr. John. He was always incredibly responsive whenever I reported an issue. Every request was handled promptly, professionally, and with great attention to detail. His dedication and willingness to help made a real difference during my stay. The staff is friendly, the community is peaceful, and the overall management does a great job of maintaining the property. I had to move out only because of my kids’ school requirements, otherwise I would have happily continued living here. I highly recommend Cortland Sugar Land to anyone looking for a quality apartment community in this area. It’s a great place to call home, and I’m grateful for the positive experience

Updated Review (2026) I’m sharing an updated review after living in this community for two and a half years, and I can confidently say my experience has remained consistently positive. This place continues to improve over time. From John (Service Manager) to Mandy (Community Manager) and Augustine, the entire team demonstrates a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care for the residents. It’s not uncommon for long-standing staff to become complacent, but that is certainly not the case here—they continue to go above and beyond, maintaining strong work ethic and attention to detail. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and efficiently, and communication from management is clear and timely. The team is approachable and always willing to assist, which makes a noticeable difference in day-to-day living. The community itself is very well maintained. I have been living here for 2 years now and I think it makes a big difference when you live somewhere where you can communicate and rely and feel safe with the community and the leasing office. I feel all of those things living here. All the people that work in the leasing office are kind and attentive, Im thankful to have the comfort in knowing they are there, they listen, and work things out quickly. I would highly recommend living here in large part to the team at Cortland Sugar Land. When I was touring complexes before we selected this one my decision was swayed when I had unpleasant experiences with the leasing offices so i think this makes a difference.

The local management is awesome. They are very professional, are empowered to make decisions in the moment and the staff as a whole are pleasant and extremely helpful. Definitely recommend.

This is my first place, and I have to say being a young adult living alone can be scary. Not here, the staff and neighbors make me feel so safe! My apartment is sooo cute, and I love the upgrades and garage attachment.

This place is Amazing and so Beautiful. The staff is absolutely the BEST!! Plus management took care of all my questions on the spot, no waiting for anything that I was looking into prior to my move. I don’t think I ever want to move out. 😊
