I have lived here for almost 2 years and this is one of the nicer complex's I have lived in for this price range. Recently I had an issue with my gate opener at 2am and John the service manager woke up overnight to help me get into the complex. The next day Alishan and Sandy in the front office were able to come up with a permanent solution in a matter of hours when I originally believed it would go on for at least a couple of days. All that being said the staff is really nice, if you need help they are there for you and if you do not need anything they do not bother you like other complexes do. If it is in the budget I recommend coming to take a tour here.

Beyond impressed. I have had some bad apartment experiences in the past and many hassles while moving from community to community. I was skeptical when introduced to Alishan by a few friends of mine. I was prepared to be blindsided or ignored but I am so glad to say that was not even close to the case. Alishan was completely transparent and always available. He was kind enough to explain things to me and even made himself available after hours if needed which I have not seen others do before.

Wowed by my experience living here since 2017. The office staff are amazing and are professional and go above and beyond with service. The grounds are gorgeous and quiet and the amenities are clean and new. The Maintenance team (John and Augustine) are awesome and requests are taken care of within 24 hours (usually sooner). What makes it amazing is not because it’s clean and well maintained but the staff. The staff literally take the whole cake . Amazing people such as John ( service manager ). Alishan , Augustine and many more folks who always try to make sure everyone needs taking care of . If any from Cortland higher ups read this , you guys better raise these people salary because the amount of work they do and the support they give is amazing. If I wasn’t in the process of building my own property, I would never leave .

Let me start by saying this is one of the best communities to live in. The Assistant Manager Shandira is super sweet and not only that, but shes highly informative and professional as well. The management is very good. They are very quick in responding to your requests. Pricing is reasonable for the amount of square footage youre getting as well as a garage, 3 bedrooms, and a huge laundry room. A huge plus is that there’s also a free car wash inside the community! If you are looking to move around the area, I would highly recommend these apartments. 10/10

I love Cortland Sugar Land! The apartments are modern, spacious, and reasonably-priced. Luxury amenities, including garages, the gym and pool, and a great location just far enough away from the city but close to entertainment/shopping/dining, make it a great property. We have been living at Cortland Sugarland for the last three months and so far it has been a good experience. The service team has taken care of my service requests promptly. The community is well maintained and clean. The staff has been very helpful and responsive to all our requests.

Wowed by my experience living here since 2017. The office staff are amazing and are professional and go above and beyond with service. I needed a place with a move in date fast. This team really pulled it together for me almost overnight. Even helped with getting my utilities turned on, which was a life saver!! Alishan really went to work hard for me as soon as I turned in my application and everything came together in way I could not have expected!! I am so grateful for the service provided. My husband and I are relocating from NYC to TX and were super anxious about all the details leading up to it and let me tell you something! We were relieved to find such an amazing apartment complex @CSL but not only because it was so pretty and well maintained upon our arrival, but because the assistant community manager Stephanie was unquestionably accommodating, knowledgeable, upbeat, and welcoming. We stumbled in a day before our appointment and were immediately taken care of. She was very patient with us as we wanted to see a few different layout options and guided us on our best option for our growing family. This community is well maintained and secured which was a big plus for us. She followed up with us after our visit to keep us updated and her thoroughness and attention to our needs sets this place apart from A LOT of places we’ve considered.

Cortland by Sugar Land is a great place to live. Hands down the best apartment home I’ve lived in. Great location, staff, amenities and it is so quiet. The office staff is amazing especially Stephanie, she is quick to respond anything that arises and handles them promptly. The maintenance team is so professional. Things are handled in a timely fashion and without issue. I’d still be living here if not for a work transfer to Austin.

Let me start by saying this is one of the best communities to live in. The management is very good. They are very quick in responding to your requests and fixing the issues. The apartment is very comforting and feels like home. The price is reasonable for these apartments as well since we are getting a lot (a garage, 3 bedrooms, big laundry). The community is clean. There is a free car washer inside the community as well. If you are looking to move around the area, I would highly recommend these apartments.

After taking a new job and temporarily relocating to the Houston area for a few months I began researching one bedroom apartments as hotel rooms weren’t a long term option for me. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered Cortland Sugar Land Apartments. The close proximity to my job, access to many businesses, and the safety that the gated community provides were some of the main factors. The property is very well landscaped and maintained. The leasing agent Stephanie was very helpful and knowledgeable in answering all of my questions upon taking a tour of the property. She is always either immediately accessible or very prompt when returning my calls and even helped with making the process of activating utilities and Wi-Fi seamless. I have only lived at Cortland Sugar Land Apartments for a short while but I am happy with my choice as it is a quiet community providing the comfort of safety and many more attributes.

Gate is frequently broken and in the open position. Great facilities, workout room and pool. Nice property. Upstairs neighbors are very loud but community in general is very quiet. Office manager gets the job done but needs some coaching on how to speak with residents.

These apartments are so cute they have attached garages and have such a beautiful pool area. We were impressed by the size of the apartments closets. So spacious! The office team was so welcoming to my family. It made our decision so easy to stay here

We just sold our house much quicker than expected, so needed housing while we continue to look for a house. Cortland was a pleasant surprise - offering short-term leases, great floor plans, enclosed garages, fantastic pool…all at reasonable prices. Our leasing agent (Alishan) was extremely helpful - helping us find the right floor plan, and speeding us through the application process. The unit was very clean, and the couple minor issues at move in were quickly fixed by Alishan and his team. Very happy with our choice of Cortland!

Lived at Cortland from 2022-2023. Amanda, Stephanie and John are the best staff any tenant could have!!! Nice and quiet complex.

Once again, I can not say anything bad about the Cortland of Sugarland staff. I always receive the best service from the entire staff. I really appreciate John for all the hard work and ensures that everything is fixed within a timely manner. I’m glad to call Cortland my home. Keep up the great work!!!

We came here after lunch at Rudy’s BBQ, and decided to lease a 3 bedroom.. very quiet and so spacious. The 2 car attached garage sold us on this property. Mandy was fantastic and can’t say enough about her nice demeanor. She is truly a great addition to that property.

We toured the property and decided to sign a long term lease with Cortland. We shopped around but can’t find any community even close to sugar land. It’s beautiful and has garage attached.

Mandy helped us pick out our 3 bedroom apartment, we were shocked to see it comes with a 2 car garage. My wife was so excited about that. The spacious bedroom and the quietness of the community is so great. Go lease with Mandy!

We went to eat at Rudy’s bbq for lunch and decided to go check out Cortland. We were so shocked how much we ended up liking the apartment. The rooms are spacious and the 2 car garage is such a huge bonus to add to the beautiful community. We ended up easing with Mandy and she was great! Loved her personally and great customer service

My experience with Cortland Sugarland was amazing . I can honestly say, “that management, maintenance and my experience was exceptional. The property was nicely maintained and clean. More importantly I had no issues with my apartment or equipment. The staff as a whole was always welcoming, caring and professional. I would highly recommend! Congrats to Cortland for having high standards for the residents and the property!

Gotta love the staff @ Cortland Sugar Land especially John the maintenance Manager. John is kind and always willing to help at all times. He responds to every maintenance request in a timely manner and goes out of his way to assist whenever called upon. By far the best!!!!

This is by far the best rental community I have ever lived in. I have lived here for over a year and I don’t have any plans of going anywhere else. The staff is absolutely AMAZING, from the office staff to the maintenance staff. John, in particular, goes above and beyond every chance he gets. He’s even helped me with things around my townhouse that fall outside of his purview. Always extremely professional and always with a smile on his face. He’s clearly happy to be here. That speaks volumes for the community.

I came by a few days ago where I was warmly welcomed by Ali, I already loved him because we have the same name, but the way he welcomed me and made me feel from the minute I stepped in I knew I found home. I feel in love with the place before I even saw the units. The office was so clean and it was just a home feeling and knew that Cortland Sugar Land was it. I went other places to look but Ali made me feel special. His whole team was just amazing and so helpful, thank you. I can not wait to make Cortland my new home. Thank you Ali!

I’m amazed at how nice the staff is from the office to the maintenance crew. Everyone is very respectful and caring. I do not have any negative comments that need to be vocalized. I moved from a house in another state and was very skeptical about the transition but I almost don’t want to buy another home because I’m comfortable.

I have lived at Cortland Sugarland for almost 2 months and everyday has been awesome. The staff is kind and professional. The grounds are maintained on a daily basis. Today the daily temperature reached 109 degrees and I could see the Maintenace staff checking the units and walking the grounds to make sure everyone was taken care of. This is wonderful community to be apart of, the staff here truly cares about their residents.

Toured with my friend a few weeks ago and really liked the fact that they have a car wash and garages. I have an old Mustang and I like that the complex has a garage to store it in and a car wash to make sure my every day car gets cleaned. Check this place out.

I just renewed my lease contract and Stephanie took the time to sit down with me and help me sign the contract on my phone. I have trouble with technology and appreciated her patience with me. Happy to be staying another 18 months.

Cortland is the nicest place we toured looking for our new home. Stephanie answered all of our questions before we even asked them and we're excited to be moving in next month. The pool is fantastic and well-maintained unlike most apartment pools we saw. Cannot wait to call this place home

So happy to have found not only a three bedroom apartment but one with an attached two car garage. What a gem! The complex is maintained well and we appreciated how helpful Steph was throughout our move in. Renewing our lease soon because we love it here.

I really love living at the Courtland. We signed for a 1 year lease....were now signing another 1 1/2 year lease. JOHN and his crew are the best. You never have an issue when John is around. He is even dog friendly...lol. my boxer LOVES John too.
