Have very much enjoyed my time at cortland, location can’t be beat. Jamie and Michaela in the leasing office have been great and very helpful with lease renewals / transfers / updates about the complex.

Would recommend this place to anyone new in Charlotte. The location can’t be beat, everything is walkable and very accessible including other neighborhoods. Maintenance staff is amazing and responsive. Front desk resolves any issues very quick as well.

The Entire staff is amazing , Jon and Jack from the maintenance team are always there to help and the work orders are always completed and they are so professional, nice and talkative. The office staff is also great Jamie , Mikaela and Madison speak very nicely and always help me with my packages and give my dogs treats whenever I’m walking through . The location is key and Cortland is adding alot of upgrades to the property . I love licing here

I love living at Cortland! The location is great and the rent prices are more affordable than some other apartment buildings in the same area. The leasing office staff is so nice and always accommodating! My washing machine recently broke - they quickly ordered a new one for me and had it installed! In the meantime, the leasing staff let me utilize an empty unit so I could still wash clothes. The maintenance guys, Jack and John, are also very nice, efficient, and always come within a reasonable time after I submit a request! There is construction going on as all of the units are being renovated, but that is something you know when moving in and obviously won’t last forever! The renovated units are so nice! The leasing staff is also very open and communicative regarding any issues at the building and also with construction updates and timelines! I have a dog and the dog park is nice and large which is a huge plus. I would definitely recommend Cortland to anyone and don’t plan on moving anytime soon! It’s a gre

*Remote Workers* - wait until earliest Fall 2025 I've lived at Cortland a year and a half and love the location, the amenities, the prices, and the management team. This place was bought out by Cortland and they began renovations this year. They advised people signing new leases of the renovations and offered 1 month free rent as compensation for the inconvenience. As a remote worker, I've experienced living on a construction site the past 5 months. Being woken up at 7:45am to drills and banging - having renovations next door be so loud I need to wear noise cancelling headphones during work and apologize to people on video calls. I also have to keep noise cancelling headphones on my desk for the fire alarms regularly going off during renovations. The management team did advise of the renovations so I can't be too upset and I loved living here otherwise. If you work in an office Mon-Fri 8-5, you won't notice the renovations and you should go for it. If you work from home, it is not worth it, wait until renovat
