I’ve lived at Cortland 77 since May 2023. I love my apartment. The floor plan and size of the rooms are much larger than the newer units in Charlotte, which I greatly appreciate. I have interacted with the staff on numerous occasions, and I have consistently found that the office staff, Charity, Henry, and the Property Manager, Morgan, are professionals who work tirelessly to provide residents with the pinnacle of customer service and a welcoming resident experience, regardless of the myriad personalities and issues they encounter. Last summer, when I was convalescing from a surgical procedure, I received a notice that I had a package at the office. Typically, after notifying the resident that they had a package, you would go to the office and pick up your package. However, at that time, I was unable, and Charity brought the package to my home. This is going on my fifth year residing at Cortland 77. There have been ups and downs to that experience. However, working with Charity (5 stars), Experience Manager, is always a good experience!! She has a relatable personality, making issues manageable and always pleasant with a genuine demeaner. Extremely pro-active at following up and making sure all questions are addressed and answered. Moving and relocations are inherently stressful situations and she makes the situation welcoming and a personal experience. Thank you Charity!!

Charity was incredibly helpful, answering all my questions and guiding me through each step with professionalism and patience. What really stood out to me was the excellent communication and prompt responses. They made sure all the paperwork was in order, and there were no surprises or hidden fees. The vehicle/property was exactly as described, clean, and ready on time. I truly appreciate the level of service and attention to detail. I love living at Cortland Seventy Seven, the maintenance staff is great and on point and so is the office staff, especially Charity B. She makes sure that she is always there to service your needs, whether it's a rent issue, complaint, or receiving your packages. The only dislike is we don't have a computer/ office center for the residents to use and the new office hours.

I’ve been in Charlotte 8 years and out of the places I’ve stayed this has been the best complex and environment I’ve stayed. I’ve lived in this complex a year and a half and the staff here has been nothing but informative and helpful; to the point that all my needs are met. The maintenance team waste no time to get things done. Charity B. (Manager) has been a big help with every question I have had regarding miscellaneous issues…the small complaints (minor noise here in there) I’ve had really didn’t feel like a complaint after speaking with her because she listened and resolved it. This place is a hidden gem. It’s a non-smoking diverse environment. The upkeep is in condition from my prospective, clean lots and not much going on besides kids at play from time to time. Not to mention it’s actually in a convenient location. I would recommend you staying here unless you’re with the dramatics (No Vacancy).

I have been at Cortland Apartments for 26 years. I do enjoy my apartment, but I do feel that it is time for an upgrade to the outside of the apartments. Otherwise, the apartments are very modern. I have seen many of the management come and go and there have been some nice ones and not so nice ones. It is a real nice place to reside, and it is close to my job where I work in SouthPark. I must give Kudos to one the management team members, Charity Baxter. She is the resident Experience Manager. No matter what problem I experience, she is on the ball and takes care of my issue. She never fails to get back to me when I call or email Cortland. She really knows her job and will get it done for you. I also am well pleased with the maintenance crew, especially Ryan. I chose Cortland as my first apartment moving out of home, and I have been really impressed and happy from the application process to living here. The renting process was super smooth, and it was wonderful working with Eurekia! She was so kind, responsive, and made sure to answer all my questions. I love my apartment too! It's really nice with updated appliances, granite countertops, and neat additions like under kitchen cabinet lighting and built-in bluetooth speakers. I've had a great experience with maintenance who work quickly, communicate effectively, and make sure things get done right. As for the community, I feel safe, even walking around late at night, and haven't had any issues with loud or disrespectful neighbors (in fact I haven't really heard a peep since living here outside of friendly greetings!) As someone who deals with anxiety, Cortland has been such a positive experience for me and I highly recommend it here! Especially for those looking for a solo apartment.

I am soooooooooooo pleased with the experience I received with Cortland Seventy Seven! Eurekia energy was amazing the first day i inquired about the apartment! Her energy was amazing, very professional and always had a smile and was very informative about the process. Charity is amazing as she had to juggle multiple people at the same time .. they both were a dynamic duo! They give all the info you need to know, application process was a breeze and everything was handled in a timely fashion with the apartment!! Even maintenance got things done that was needed for the apartment I overheard the excitement in their voice when everything was completely med and it made me happy to know everyone here is on one accord!! And the apartment is amazing!! I was in my last apartment for 7 years and I came here for a new start and I’m loving my new home already!! Thank you ladies so much for making this process seem less!! I’m HOMEE!!!!

I highly recommend this community due to its outstanding staff. Lorretta, the manager, truly cares about residents and ensures everything runs smoothly. Henry and his coworker Eurekia are always helpful and responsive to any needs. Talab, the maintenance supervisor, is committed to excellent service. For a perfect community, a dedicated manager and a strong maintenance team are essential, and this staff exemplifies that. I'm glad I chose this place to live!

As a young female I feel very comfortable living here. The C77 community is the most diverse group of people I have ever seen all the way from families with young kids, to elders, to college-aged kids, every race you could think of. I think it is common for you to "get what you give". As long as you follow the policies and procedures set out by the community, things will always go your way. In my whole 14 month lease I did see ONE roach. I asked maintenance if they would replace the bottom sill on my door, and they did no problem and I never saw another bug in my apartment again. I saw that the corridor outside of my apartment was dim, which made me feel uneasy, I asked if we could get a new light bulb, we had one by the time the sun went down the next day. The maintenance team around here ROCKS. There was a period of time during this lease where I went through a rough patch, and ended up having a wellness check called on me.
