Great living experience. Cleanliness is priority here. Management (Michael and Isaiah) makes residents and their living experience a priority, so any issues are resolved in a very timely manner. Maintenance (Jesse) is always here taking care of any routine issues that may occur. Overall great experience, highly recommended to anybody who loves easy and quiet living with a beautiful view.

Moved here from out of state and couldn’t be happier. The move in process was seamless! The apartments are spacious and well kept but one of the best features of this complex is the location! Update: I’ve lived at CORTLAND for a year now and had nothing but a great experience. If you’re looking for a safe, clean, and picturesque place to live, this is it. Tucked away in the Sabino canyon area, the views are amazing! Before moving in, I looked at several other apartments in the area and they were crazy expensive. For the price, you can’t beat cortland. The workout room not only has newer equipment but it’s always clean! The maintenance team on site is fast and reliable. The management team, specifically Isaiah and Michael answered any questions I had and were super helpful making my moving process seamless

Jesse is amazing! Always thorough, friendly, and timely. While he has only had to fix a few things during our time here (leaky window, replacement of air filter) the most recent was the installation of a new screen door. Had it done in under 20 minutes, and without any help. Jesse saved the day again!

My first impression of Cortland at Sabino Canyon was of how well the apartment buildings blend into their surroundings. The mountains, trees, and bushes compliment the complex quite well. This is desert landscaping at its best, so it's not unpleasant to look at. Next, is the location at North Sabino Canyon Rd. and Snyder Rd. This area is called the "Hidden Valley." Here, it's quiet, beautiful, and wild. Raptors fly above you looking for their next meal, while out on Snyder Rd. I've seen deer, wild pigs, and coyotes. And at night the owls hoot from a number of trees. The complex is full of young working families, some military people, and a few seniors. My neighbors are quiet and considerate. Most people are friendly. There is a large workout room which they call "Elevate." It's stuffed full of all new machines, hand weights, kettle weights, medicine balls, rollers, and three different Matrix stations. Plus there is a mirror which turns into a yoga instructor! I haven't seen anything like this in an apartment

Today we placed a maintenance work order and Jesse and Micheal came immediately to fix the issue. We have been living here for a little over a year now and Jesse always makes sure that any maintenance issue that we have is taken care of the day of. The maintenance and all of the staff at Cortland Sabino Canyon are truly polite and understanding. Whenever we need help they never hesitate to assist us. My family and I are truly grateful to be apart of a professional, friendly, and beautiful kept community!

Amy, the apartment manager, is excellent in this position! She is very helpful, kind, and responsive--always trying to help. The maintenance staff is excellent, too--very quick and efficient. The apartments are located in a beautiful, quiet area, away from traffic. Once the renovations are complete, the area will again be peaceful and without clutter (machinery, storage and trash bins take up parking space). The renovated fitness center appears very nice, too. My suggestion, though, would be to take an upstairs unit if possible, to avoid noise from upstairs neighbors due to the renovated carpet less units.

Moved here from out of state and couldn’t be happier. The move in process was seamless! The apartments are spacious and well kept but one of the best features of this complex is the location! It’s in an extremely safe area with amazing views of the mountains and only about a 10 minute drive to all the stores you need. The workout facility is also well maintained and has all the equipment you need.

My husband and I came to Cortland Sabino Canyon site unseen from 2000 miles across the country and could not be more pleased with our decision! Nearly daily we sigh with relief at how safe, clean, and great our apartment community is. The location of the community is excellent, we love the view of the mountain and the close proximity to hiking trails, while still being near enough to some restaurants. Our apartment was in excellent shape, and we have no heard noises from neighbors at all! We love having in-unit clothes washer and dryer, and the large windows the apartment features, perfect for viewing the lovely Sabino Canyon scenery. All staff members have been incredibly helpful, kind, and all service requests have been fulfilled promptly and to our satisfaction. We came to Cortland Sabino Canyon site unseen from the Midwest this past fall and we could not be more pleased with our decision thus far! The safety of the community was our top priority, and we feel very safe and content with the location! We are moments from beautiful hiking at Sabino Canyon National Forest, a short trip across the street from delicious food and drinks, and all the neighbors are quiet, respectful, and kind! We love using the pool and hot-tub at the community! While there is construction going on, the noise from it has not been all that significant and has not really disturbed us. If workers are in the way of our vehicle they promptly move to allow us out of the complex. The property manager is responsive. And the units are clean and spacious. I’ve been living here a few months now. The two bedrooms have showers if you need. The tubs can be a bit high if you have trouble stepping in. It can be hard to get maintenance to respond to urgent requests but that may be because of a staffing change and shortage at this time that may remedy. The rent portal is easy to use, although I find the billing confusing at times. But there again the property manager is responsive and explains. She is also good at communicating complex-wide repairs.

Recently moved cross country without ever seeing the property in person and could not be more pleased! Starting from the inquiry process, Cortland provided clear information about the different properties and I never felt pushed or rushed to make a final decision. Once I finally settled with Sabino Canyon, Amy, the property manager was welcoming and kind. I asked many questions throughout the process and she never seemed bothered and was always willing to help. Move in day was a breeze. The apartment was clean and just like the online photos. Safe, quite area surrounded by mountains which was just what I was looking for!

I moved from out of state and where I lived before it was really difficult to find housing but not here at Cortland! Amy the manager made it so easy and approved us very quickly. She made sure everything went smooth for us to make the transition and move. Upon arrival there were issues with the unit but Amy went above and beyond to ensure we were accommodated! Most places would say deal with it and leave it be. We have only been here a few days but here’s what i can say about the property. 1) it’s cleaner than most apartment complexes 2) there’s in going construction but they have all construction closed off for safety which I appreciate 3) they have a lovely little dog park my dog adores and 4) the area is absolutely gorgeous you can’t beat seeing those mountains outside your window! Thanks cortland for providing a lovely community.

I can't speak any more highly of Amy and the Cortland Sabino Canyon team. From the moment I stepped into the office, I felt comfortable and knew I found my place. The application process was so easy and any questions I had were answered quickly. I absolutely love my apartment and my neighbors are the best. I had a very minor issue with one of my outlets (the only problem I have had) and Amy actually put the repair request in for me. Maintenance came the next day and the issue was fixed. I haven't lived in an apartment for 35 years and was so nervous but I am incredibly happy that I found this place. Thank you to the team at Cortland Sabino Canyon.

I was moving out of state and transferring from a Cortland property in TX to Cortland Sabino Canyon. From my first phone call through the entire leasing experience Amy was such a huge help. She was quick to respond, answer questions and made the leasing process so much easier. It definitely eased the stress of such a stressful situation of moving out of state. Ultimately I wasn’t able to make the move at this time and stayed with Cortland in TX. She was super understanding and I will forever be grateful for her and Cortland. I’ve been with other management properties throughout the years and I can’t speak highly enough about Cortland and its employees. Everyone I’ve encountered has been kind. If there’s ever an issue it’s handled quickly and it definitely translates between the different properties. If you’re looking for a place to call home I would definitely recommend Cortland Sabino Canyon. I can’t wait for the day I get to move back to Arizona. I will for sure be coming to CSC and reaching out to Amy.

I lived here for 3 years and loved every second of it. The location is safe and quiet. Close to sabino canyon and mount lemmon. Karen from the front office is such a sweetheart. She has always been super helpful and kind. All maintenance requests were completed in a timely and efficient manner. No issues with bugs whatsoever. My apartment is cozy, updated, and exactly what I need. I would stay here for longer, but the prices have gone just a little too high for my liking. I cannot recommend this community enough!

The apartment will send out notices ahead of time by email and text in case there are maintenance issues which I personally appreciate. The area is wonderful and peaceful! Caren and Amy are amazing if need any help or have any questions!

These apartment homes are without a doubt the most affordable for what you get. I have lived all over the country and world and this community is hands down the very best. I have lived here 15 years and my experience here continues to be superlative. The staff, the service, the community, the residents, the neighbors, the weather and the location are major league. It's a great place to raise children, crime is low, the schools are top notch and the atmosphere is everything older residents would love. The modern rennovations put these apt/homes at the same level as the finest apartment homes one would find in select areas of the country, but at a cost still well below the national average It is quiet, safe and a very positive environment. It is close to everything, but just far enough away. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

Five stars is not enough to show how AMAZING this property is! Property is Beautiful inside and out. The staff makes one feel at home. It has immaculate grounds. Breath taking views are part of their amenities. Once you come here you never want to leave.

Place is beautiful, and everyone there that I have met so far has been pleasant, and very helpful. Location is amazing with beautiful surrounding areas. Also, a convenience store is just a walk away.

I have lived in this community since 2014. it's such a beautiful location and is only getting better now that Cortland is managing it. They have made lots of improvements and are continuing to make more. Helpful and friendly staff as well.

I have lived in Cortland for over 2 years. I have had nothing but the best experience. I recently transfered into a renovated apartment and the transition was extremely smooth and unstressful. The staff at Cortland are very helpful and extremely courteous. I have never had any problems and feel very comfortable in my home. I always highly recommend the Cortland property to everyone. Beautiful and quiet.

Moved into this complex in March of 2019 and have always had positive experiences with maintenance and office staff. Good gym and dog park. Beautiful views of the mountains and pleasing renovations/updates. Caren at the main office is particularly helpful and such a friendly face!

I had a great experience when visiting your property, recently. The Community Manager, Amy Wetland, greeted me and was quite kind and very positive. She has an energy that draws you in. You could not ask for a better face for your property. My best experience ever with a property manager, hands down. She was professional yet warm and welcoming. She gave me a thorough tour of the property and answered all questions that I had with integrity. I do wish these units were townhouse style so no one above. Still considering, however because of location.

We originally moved here for the safe, peaceful, and beautiful location. After living here for several years, we still love it. It keeps getting better. If we ever do have any questions or concerns, Amy (the property manager) is always very prompt in addressing them. We haven't had such clear communication from other properties in the past, so it's definitely a great change of pace. In fact, the entire staff is very kind and welcoming, and they always treat you that way (even years later). The fellow residents are respectful of each others assigned parking, quiet hours, picking up after their dogs, and following the no smoking rule. We love that this is a no smoking property! There's just so many good things about this location. We highly recommend checking it out!

This apartment community is absolutely worth being a slightly farther drive from all the hustle and bustle. The area is nice, quiet and definitely family friendly. Amy is the newer property manager and is an absolute breath of fresh air. I have lived in many apartments in my life and I have never seen such an involved, caring, and hands on manager. So thankful to be living here and I will continue to renew my lease year after year.

We have lived here for almost 4 years now! The scenery & location is beautiful! It has been a bumpy road, with misinformation from many residents during Cortland taking ownership of the complex. We felt like we almost lost that “community feeling” during the transition. However, Amy and Caren are freaking amazing!! They set the tone straight, gave us the CORRECT information and we plan to continue to enjoy making Sabino Canyon our home. Amy & Caren are definitely “resident advocates” and we appreciate that! And I cannot say enough about the maintenance guys! Isaac & Jeff are ALWAYS amazing! Whatever issue you need to have taken care of - they are ON IT!

Affordable older Apts that don't look old.Prices maybe coming up at the end of everyone's lease 2022.Still quiet place to live in so far.Not enough parking by the apts.Pkg a pain at night for your 2nd car.You get one paid car covered space. Thanks Inflation Washington!

I moved into these apartments a couple of weeks ago, and everything has been very smooth. Caren helped me out for MONTHS to try to find the best unit that would best fit our needs. She is awesome! Caren and the maintenence staff have always been incredibly friendly and accommodating. The apartments are very well kept, and all of the neighbors are friendly and caring. The area is great for being outdoors, food and shopping. There is also a gym and pool. My parking spot is a few steps from my unit. The apartment will send out notices ahead of time in case there are maintenence issues, and have called before coming everytime. I toured quite a few apartments in the area and feel like these were the best budget and Sq. Ft wise. I feel very safe and respected in these apartments!

If you're looking for a family oriented community then this is the place for you! I lived herefor 4 years and it's one of the best communities I could ask for! The staff here is prompt and friendly. Caren, the leasing agent knows every single tenant by name! She always has a smile on her face and is always willing to lend a hand in any situation. The maintenance is quick and they always take special care in your apartment. When my washer broke Isaac the maintenance man literally RAN to my home to fix it!!! The apartments are spacious and have several floor plans. Big bright windows are a sure way to cheer you up everyday. The pool is the spot to be in summer time especially if you have kids!

It is a lovely, safe, and friendly environment in a gorgeous neighborhood. The apartments themselves are well-built and, unlike many of my previous apartment experiences, I hardly ever hear sound from my upstairs or next door neighbors. Maintenance is usually very quick and efficient and the office staff and the kindest, most helpful I’ve ever had. Love living here!

We have had a wonderful experience with Caren Gillete, who is, in our opinion, an outstanding leasing agent. She is thoughtful, caring and empathetic to all customers. We have also had positive experiences with the technicians on staff. Since we moved to our first-floor apartment in November, we have had three work orders that were completed either the same day or the next day.

I was very lucky to find this property last minute during my home search and I so far love living here! Not only did they meet my check list of needs- Ms. Caren Gillette was a very helpful and was easy to talk to during this very stressful apartment search. The property is beautiful, quiet and clean. I did look at 5 other properties and this one was worth the money. The location is beautiful and what really sold me was the awesome office staff that worked very hard to get me in during a very tight time frame. I would love to express to anyone reading that Ms. Caren Gillette was the best and I hope the higher ups notice she is a very wonderful person and really cares about the community. I'm so happy to be part of this community and love my wonderful neighbors. Another thing I would love to add the maintenance staff is very helpful and work fast- My family and I apricate it very much! I love Cortland Sabino Canyon Apartments. I moved here about 3 months ago and was so happy I found such a beautiful place. It is very close to Sabino Canyon, to the beautiful mountains and near to where my elderly mother lives, which was important to me when searching for the right community. Caren Gillette and the maintenance staff are wonderful and are very responsive to resident needs. They also provide resident get-togethers, which is a good way for people to meet their neighbors. My apartment is so cute, and I especially love the tile flooring. My parking space is right outside my front door, which makes it so convenient for unloading groceries or items from the car. I have received many compliments from visitors and family members on both the complex and my apartment. So glad to call Cortland Sabino my home.
