I really love these apartments! The staff makes me feel like I am home, the complex is clean, and so peaceful. I love taking my dog for a walk on the hiking trails directly behind the complex. I would definitely recommend it to people looking for a home.

I can’t say enough good things about this property! The place is absolutely amazing – clean, well-maintained, and with such a welcoming atmosphere. What truly stands out, though, are the ladies in the office, Janelle and Grace. They are the best! They’re always so friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. Their customer service is top-notch, and they truly make you feel like you’re a valued part of the community here. I also want to give a huge shout-out to Tina, the maintenance lady. She’s always quick to address any issues, super friendly, and makes sure everything is in perfect working order. Janell has been super helpful and communicative from the time we toured to move- in day! Maintenance has been quick to tend to service requests. We moved here 5 days ago. We love the beautiful, spacious apartment. The maintenance team has responded within a few hours of putting in a ticket and has resolved all of the issues we have had since we moved in. There were many as there usually are with a new apartment and Tina told me, “I want our residents to be happy with where they live. She even documented a scratch on the granite countertops that I had missed and said she turned it in so we will not be held responsible. The reason I gave this complex 4 stars instead of 5 are various issues: they did not tell us someone would be coming to fix a sprinkler head the second day we were here and then it dripped stinky antifreeze all over the bathroom. I appreciate that they fixed it and cleaned it but prior notice would have been nice. We were also never told what our mailbox number is and assumed it was our apt number but it’s not so our vacant card was in the box for several days and our mail has been returned to senders. The office is VERY bad about answer

I have been living at Cortland Rockrimmon for several years. Aside from being an exceptionally nice place to live, the on sight Staff are AMAZING! I have lived here for a few years, and it has been amazing to see all the renovations and improvements made to this community and the fantastic upgrades to the apartments since Cortland bought the property. I love the location and scenic mountain views! The apartments are spacious and neighbors are nice. Cortland is big on customer service, and there is an outstanding team of individuals on-site who are engaged with the community and super nice to work with. The management is on top of everything and always eager to do anything you need done. They even ask if you need anything else (not just waiting for you to put in a work request). The swimming pool is sparkling! The property is clean and environmentally pleasing. I believe the renters are inspired by the efficiency and reliability of the staff to keep their own property clean and quiet (we're inspired by the management). The staff and renters are friendly and respectful. We have lived in another Cortland property before, and the Rockrimmon Cortland gets 5 stars from me.

I moved to Cortland from TN back in October 2023. I moved site unseen and overall the process was relatively smooth. The staff was very accommodating. They answered all of my questions, did a virtual walk through, and sent me additional photos prior to moving. This helped ease my nerves a bit since I didn't actually get to see the place in person. Since moving in, Tina who is over maintenance, has always been very nice, professional, and prompt at addressing any of my maintenance issues, which is very much appreciated! Recently, Cortland add a new member to the team in the office, Janell. Janell has also been a pleasure to deal with. She is super friendly, professional, and has also helped with any questions or concerns I've had. Overall my experience here has been great! I love the layout of my apartment, all of the upgrades, and it's kinda hard to beat the location. Everything you need is close by, it's quiet, and Ute Valley is right in your backyard! Update: Still living here. They are almost done with all the renovations, but it is looking so good. Loving the place still. Loving the people that work here. They take such great care of us and I am so happy I chose to move in here and stay. Yeah the parking isn't the best but honestly the price for the garages are about the same you would pay at any other apartment complex. What you don't get other places is the awesome staff and the amazing view and trail right behind the complex. Enjoy life. Moved here in October 2022 and have found it to be fantastic. Yes currently there is construction and updates happening but it’s great to know that management is concerned and interested in maintaining a nice complex. If you have issues (maintenance) they are very quick to get things fixed. It helps that there are not that many apartments and they have someone here every day to fix issues. And of course they are pet friendly and have a lovely walking path just behind the complex. And shopping .5 miles away. The people

I moved here a couple of months ago and I love it! The staff are super accommodating and friendly, and Grace in particular has been absolutely wonderful. My maintenance requests have always been handled within 24 hours (usually the same day), and the maintenance staff are always quick, knowledgable, and respectful of my home. The package lockers are really cool- you get a text message with a barcode that opens the locker with your package inside, which is way more convenient than anything I’ve used before. They take quiet hours seriously, and the one time I had a minor issue with excessive noise during quiet hours it was promptly resolved and I haven’t had any problems since then. My neighbours have all been really friendly and kind as well. Location-wise, it’s close to the grocery store and shops but far enough away from the main road that I don’t have to deal with loud traffic at all hours. I am moving to Colorado from another state. I have always been scared to live in an apartment due to people not being to clean. I found these apartments on Facebook and Mrs. Stephanie reached back out to me to set up a tour. She was so sweet. Mrs. Jessica is the one who did the tour with me and my friend. She was so cheery and talked so great about the place. The apartments are very nice, the few people we did see that either worked there or lived were super friendly. Jessica is probably the most amazing employee I have ever seen. Her hospitality is what caught my eye on the apartment. Highly recommend living here.

The office employees are the most friendliest and caring people, I just don’t think that is the same with the construction/contractor side. Employees who operate the green heavy duty forklift on their phone in the middle of the road not paying any attention is a concern. Contractors/construction employees parking in resident parking is becoming an issue. New residents blocking in other residents with semi truck is also happened to me twice. I think that parking is just the biggest issue, and I don’t believe that 150 for a small garage is affordable for most with what we are currently paying. Sorry just not much of a fan of walking 4 minutes every time to get to my apartment.

The staff and their responsiveness are one of my favorite things about this property. It’s quiet for the most part and the neighborhood is friendly. While some of our amenities are still in the works, they’re looking pretty great. One complaint I think most residents would agree with is the SEVERE lack of parking. Especially will moving trucks blocking us in, construction crews taking up multiple spots, and the huge amount of space garages take up where parking spots could be. I think it’s safe to say majority of the garages are unoccupied due to the higher cost (150/mo) and finding an open spot after 6pm within a reasonable distance is unlikely. This coupled with the road’s numerous potholes makes parking a decently large issue. Otherwise, this property is great!

Great place to live and the new management has been helpful, considering all the changes and renovations. Only recommendation for new tenants is to rent a garage (as we do) and plan accordingly, most nights there absolutely no parking no where near my building and we have to park on the other side of the complex (hoping for assigned parking).

Absolutely killer management and front office staff. The leasing agent that led my partner and I through our tour went waaay above and beyond with how helpful she was - thank you again Norma!! We moved to Colorado from AZ the day before our tour and were staying in a hotel because we wanted to tour apartments in person - this was our first (and last!) stop because we loved it so much. Both my partner and I were ready to move in same-day if the stars aligned, but we never could've imagined how helpful Norma would be in actually making that dream happen. The relief!! We felt lucky not only to apply for the apartment while in the leasing office - but also to have her there to help guide us through the whole process. We felt like we were home before we even finished signing our lease! Will be our 3rd year July of 2023. When Cortland bought out the property from Ridge at Rockrimmon I was afraid of new management. They did increase the rent when they took over but not by an unfair amount. What we pay now is still probably better than we'd find most places. Since taking over they've repainted all the buildings and are working on getting us a heated pool year round. Very responsive to maintenance requests and friendly staff too. Right next to a great walking path and I've never had issues with parking. Plan on staying a long time!

July 2023 will be 3 yrs. I am a resident here.I can honestly say that Cortland is bringing this property up to a higher standard.I have always felt safe here and never has there been any issues, so when they added security to patrol the grounds, that just reinforced that feeling.The units are Quiet.. I barely hear my neighbors. If I do it’s a muffled sound of a drawer closing. I’m in a one bedroom and it’s really nice.. I love that I have my own Hvac unit, a/c heat , high ceilings, open floor plan, updated appliances, and my garage.The renovations are incredible..the exterior paint job was just finished and is top notch. They replaced boards, power washed, and did the paint the way it’s supposed to be done, not just slapping a coat of paint over chipped wood. Cortland really encourages more of a community.They have gatherings in the clubhouse for holidays. We have a community forum online in case anyone wants to post a message or sell something . And of course they are pet friendly and have a lovely walking path just behind the complex. And shopping .5 miles away. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful. Lovely people that remember the residents by face/name/pet. Recommend to anyone to live here.

I have been living here well beyond six months now at Cortland Rockrimmon. I moved here in the spring time of 2022. When I first moved here, the complex was NOT owned by Cortland. I have to admit, I was skeptical to move here…the reviews I was able to find were very poor. I made a decision to move here regardless knowing that my lease terms were only for a (1) one year term. I wanted to be closer to the expressway & in addition, closer to my son and his family. The management terrified me when I first came to visit the property. At that time, the current owners were NOT Cortland. Frankly, I most definitely was not given the attention deserving to a perspective NEW tenant. I’m not even going to waste my key strokes going any further than that! Irregardless, the property was close to the expressway & close to my son and his family so I concluded I would just make the best of it! (Again, recognizing it was only for one year). For the most part this complex is a great place to live. Minus our new upstairs neighbors running around and blasting music late at night, the complex is quiet. The foundation is shifting, but that's understandable since it's on a hill. But that causes a lot of gaps for cold air to slip in. It's affordable and Michelle at the front has always been very friendly and understanding when i called with concerns.

This place has changed so much since Cortland bought it. They have already made so many improvements to the way the apartments look. They have cleaned up the landscaping--it looks so good!

The new management has redeemed this community. Tina, the maintenance manager, is a powerhouse. She takes issues seriously and resolves them almost immediately. Norma and Michelle in the office make our little community feel like home, which is a nice change.

I have lived here almost a year now and my experience with these apartments have been great, especially with the new members of management. Michelle at the front desk has been beyond helpful during my journey here by making me feel welcome and appreciated as a resident. If you are looking for an apartment ran by some great management, not to mention the beautiful views and calm neighborhood, this is definitely a place that should be considered.
