Featured Reviews of Cortland on Blake

Gonzalo and Stone were the maintenance men that answered all of my maintenance requests. They came by the very next day and Very quickly fulfilled all of my maintenance needs. They asked all of the right questions and gave proper explanations to make sure I didn't have a rough time with anything. It was a nice surprise in my day. I was sure the wait would be longer for new lightbulbs and such. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve been living here a little over a year and Rebecca and Letavian have been so incredibly kind and helpful with all my lease related questions and concerns, even helping me extend my lease further when I needed it. Adding to that, my AC has been working perfectly through the heat waves and besides a few small maintenance requests that were resolved quickly, I’ve had no real issues with the apartment, property, or amenities. Would definitely recommend this complex to others, it’s pretty tough to beat the size, location, and price, with exceptional customer service to tie it all together. I’ll miss living here!

I had a great experience working with Ken from maintenance at Cortland on Blake. He was professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about getting everything handled the right way. From the moment he stepped in, he was organized, communicative, and made sure the entire process went smoothly. Ken goes above and beyond for residents and vendors alike. He’s knowledgeable, respectful, and clearly takes pride in keeping the property in top shape. It’s rare to meet someone who works that hard while still being friendly and easy to work with. Cortland on Blake is lucky to have someone like Ken on their team. Excellent service, great attitude, and true professionalism. Highly recommend!

I was very close to moving out, but the changes that have been made recently — especially hiring Patrick the new maintenance man who is absolutely wonderful, have made a huge difference. Patrick, in maintenance, responded to a late night call concerning the smoke alarms. He was prompt and professional, arriving in a timely manner without even a second thought for it being after hours. I've lived at Cortland on Blake for three weeks and the office team, maintenance team, and customer service have been exceptional. They respond quickly, are genuinely friendly and courteous, and are very mindful of security and upkeep of the property. Any community concerns are communicated to residents while promptly remedied. For example, one of the garage doors became out of service. Management informed tenants and the door was immediately repaired. There have been a few occasions that I called the management office and didn't get through. A team member actually responded shortly to my missed call each time to help with any concerns. I didn't expect the level of care that every department at Cortland on Blake provides for their residents. As far as my unit, it was in pretty clean condition upon move in. Even the exposed pipes and air ducts in the ceiling were surprisingly clean. The entire staff have been outstanding.

Updated review I've now been here over a year and I have transferred to a new unit. And FIVE stars to Bryan in the leasing office for making the transfer a breeze! He went out of his way to help with the whole process. I still love it here. The main issue I have is the residents who refuse to pick up after their dog in the park. other than that, I have had a great experience and plan to stay for a long time! ********************************************************************* I moved in here at the end of October, 2024. I've waited a couple months to write a review so I could see how this place really is. I LOVE IT HERE!! Very dog friendly. The leasing office staff is the best I've ever experienced. They went above and beyond helping me with getting moved in. Their bark park is huge and my Dog, Norman, loves it. However that is one reason I only give it 4 stars. I would give 4 and a half if possible... So many people who live here don't pick up after their dogs. Sometimes to the point that it is unusable. I fr

Tbh. All places have their issues. B it the maintenance team is seriously trying their hardest to get things in order. My experience here hasn’t been perfect. But I can genuinely say that the staff works really hard to get things done and be a support. Shout out to Patrick. So friendly and very patient. Even with my 3 year old daughter who won’t leave him alone when he’s come to fix things for us. He is genuinely a kind person. Kenny is great too. Does a great job managing tho e maintenance staff. Brayan and LT. in the office are hard at work every second of the day. Like nonstop work they all have and still have the most genuine approach to people. These days that says a lot. If you’re a resident. Or future- come here and treat these people with respect. Simple as that. I promise you, they will return it 10x. Thanks guys. I appreciate the time and energy you put into work.

My daughter has lived at Cortland on Blake since February 2025. When she moved in and found many issues with her apartment the one person she could count on to get the issue resolved was Tina in maintenance. Tina always has a smile on her face, never complains about her work. and when she repairs something, it is always done right!! There have been a number of occasions where she has come to the building in the middle of the night to turn on a patio pump during a bad rain storm or clear a clogged toilet. Again, never complaining and always with a smile. I can’t imagine how this property would get along without her. She is truly a special gal!!! My daughter and I are grateful that she is here!
