The layout of the apartment makes it feel so spacious and the kitchen is so cute but what really stands out to me is the way the management and front desk are so approachable and kind. My wife and I relocated to the DC area this summer, and Kenneth made a long-distance move far easier than it had any right to be. He walked us through multiple video tours so we could choose an apartment without being there in person. When there were mistakes on the sales side, he emailed the right people on our behalf and got them sorted out. What was a hectic and stressful move that had to happen in a hurry, his help made possible. What really stands out is that his help didn't stop once we signed the lease. We've been here two months, and he's still the person we know we can count on whenever an issue comes up. Just last week he helped us get a storage unit after none had been available for months. We love the apartment and the location, and especially how dog-friendly the community is. We've met so many great fellow dog owners here. I lived here for a short time and really enjoyed my apartment complex. I always bumped into one of the maintenance workers,Rosa, in the morning and she is so kind and helpful with any questions/concerns I have about the complex. I've been living at Courtland for three months now, and I absolutely love it! For many years, I've been a huge fan of the Greenbelt, and now I get to enjoy the view every time I look out my windows. HONEST REVIEW (from a currently disgruntled tenant) : - The front office is excellent (except for a random dude that works some Saturdays-not Cameron, he's great-that makes empty promises and never follows up) - The insides of the buildings almost always smell like dog piss - The apartment complex does NOT vet animals or screen them in any way and there are multiple aggressive/not well controlled dogs on the premises. - The pool and jacuzzi area is awesome except not always well kept with tons of bugs often floating in the ill-cleaned waters. - The elevator is broken 60-75% of the time, so living on the 3rd or 4th floor is a pain. - Parking is great and you can almost always find a spot. If you can't street parking is nearby. - They throw a lot of events and bring in food trucks which is a nice touch. - My wifi hasn't been working in over a month due to a coax that the apartment claimed wasn't their responsibility but after many attempts for clarification, they found out it was. That really sucks and still do

This is going to be a long review, but worth reading. First, I want to say that moving is hard. Moving to a completely new place comes with a lot of challenges, bumps, and unexpected situations. In my case, there were definitely moments when I felt overwhelmed and didn’t know how everything was going to work out. But in the end, Cortland made what felt like an impossible move possible. This was my first experience with Cortland. Before moving in, I saw the mixed reviews and understood that every apartment community will have its issues. I’m someone who is a problem solver. What stood out to me about Cortland was teamwork. From leasing to management and everyone involved behind the scenes, people worked with me, accommodated me, listened to me, and helped me through a very difficult transition. I honestly don’t believe my move would have been possible without the Cortland team. I had the most exceptional experience meeting Dessi and looking at the apartment complex. Everything was amazing, but the best was the service Dessi gave us as we walked and all the way to the end. I visited one of They’re Competitors, 30 minutes after meeting with her and the experience was horrendous. Nowhere near the excellent service that Desi provided. By far the best apartment complex that I have ever lived in that I will be extremely reluctant to leave. The front office people are all amazing (especially Austin) and proactive/helpful. The property is always super clean (and safe), and everything is well-maintained. This complex also has the best maintenance team of anywhere I've lived. They are all extremely kind, understanding, and efficient. I am especially fond of Gaspar, who treats all of us like we're an extension of his family. He has dropped everything to come help me during late night maintenance emergencies, and I couldn't be more grateful for him. I love it here!

I signed a one year lease but had to move out early due to relocation, the whole leasing team including Macey, Rama is really friendly and very helpful. Overall, I had a great time living in the property, which is newly renovated and is wonderfully located in the heart of pentagon city. Macey is a great manager and she really takes care of all the residents and very easy to work with. If I ever come back to DC, I will live here again.

I’ve been living here for about 9 months now, and overall, I’ve had a very good experience. It’s a great community with excellent amenities, including a swimming pool, gym, and Amazon lockers. The management team communicates well about community events, maintenance issues, reminders, and important alerts. The maintenance service is excellent and, most importantly, very prompt. My apartment’s AC unit broke down in the middle of a Texas summer, on a weekend. Since they needed to order a replacement part, the repair couldn’t be completed until Monday. However, instead of simply asking me to wait, they provided a temporary portable AC unit and even came out to install it. Things can break in any apartment, but I really appreciate how they handled the situation and provided a practical temporary solution instead of excuses.

This is a very nice building and is in a good location. But the staff is what really makes it great! Everyone in the office is very kind and responsive to whatever your needs may be. I worked a lot with Rama when I first moved in. She was so helpful on one of the most stressful days of my life. She answered every question before I even thought to ask it. Also, she takes the time to speak/greet me every time I see her, which is always appreciated! Malik in the office is also very helpful and helped address an issue quickly and without any delay!

I cannot explain in words how great my move in experience was because of Tiffany, Patrick and Q. I could not make it in person and Tiffany did my virtual tour and it was great. She took her time to explain and show everything like I was there. Just her professional presence on the call set a standard for the other apartments that I still needed to see. No one came close to it. Fast forwarding, I happen to be in the area the day I planned to see all apartments and stopped in to see if I could see the apartment in person. Patrick was busy and he apologized but told us we could do a self walkthrough of the pool area and when we were done to come back and he should be finished up with the customers he was assisting. They are hands down one of the friendliest and most genuine people I’ve met in any leasing office. Edit on 09/17/26: Internet has significantly improved and have little issues for several months. Some brief outages but the signal returns very quickly. Really not an issue anymore. However, the amount of frogs that have spawned in this community is out of control and makes it difficult to enjoy the walking areas and it is unsafe for dogs. Edit on 03/08/26: The internet service here is so bad. I just don’t understand. When it WORKS it’s fine..but many days there are hours of extremely low wifi speed. If I didnt have a phone plan with hotspot i’d be miserable here. Dissapointed that i’m stuck with this service now. Julia assisted my girlfriend and I with our move-in and we are very happy with the process and our new home. We had many questions throughout but were always answered in a reasonable amount of time and she was super nice throughout it all.

Management team is awesome. I have been here for 3 months and haven’t had any issues go unresolved thus far. I had a boot on my car due to a mistake I made during vehicle registration - Kaneil handled it for me within the same hour. I had a leak one day due to a construction error on another floor - Kaneil and Keith got it taken care of the same hour and maintenance cleaned my apartment for me, then installed a brand new light so that I ended more satisfied than before. They also frequently assist with questions or concerns even if they are headed home or headed to lunch. Lastly, any damage I’ve seen around the building has been repaired within the same week. Highly recommend 👍🏽

The first wave of management staff (for the exception of the assistant manager) had me wanting to leave without hesitation. I came for the location, but I stayed for the vision (along with the location) with the added benefit of the an efficient, respectful staff, that’s customer service oriented, empathetic, intelligent & just kind . Now with that being said …understand Wakanda (forget Rome) wasn’t built in a day . The elevators aside (cause the elevator situation being down for over a year is crazy for ADA patrons ..but the new crew is def on top of things) ) renovations are being completed. The property itself is going under a large renovation, but it seems that they have really good plans for it. The renovated units are beautiful and look exactly like the pictures. This property is very close to the beltline but very close to Edgewood as well. It’s definitely on my list as I continue my search for a new place.

This apartment is exemplary. They are renovating the entire building (The new units are awesome). The building staff is friendly plus they keep you up to date with any changes in the building, they answer any questions and they check in with you in passing. Candice Johnson is so helpful and has provided such a positive experience. There are multiple courtyards here, so it feels like its own community. My favorite thing is how spacious the building is and the many routes I can take to move around the building. The location is superb also. You get the benefit of the beltline on one side, and on the other - you have the city. I work in the city so it's extremely convenient for my commute and I enjoy the restaurants, and businesses nearby for activities. 10/10

I’m grateful for the rebrand from Auburn Glenn to Cortland Old Fourth Ward. Since the change in management, the frequency of car break-ins has dropped drastically. The redesign of the apartments and exterior cosmetics updates really has brightened the community. Also, the new vehicle policy has reduced loitering and unauthorized cars parked on the property. Additionally, the staff has increased community and pro-socials events to get to the residents. The property manager and assistant property manager are very helpful as well. Finally, the new communications system is very useful. Residents get updates both via email and text messages concerning all things about changes, maintenance, and general information about the communities. The newnesss of community was needed. Love living at Auburn Glenn! They’re remodeling right now, so things are getting updated and looking great. My apartment was clean, spacious, and bright when I moved in. Perfect location for GSU and downtown. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Friendly staff, quick maintenance, and nice amenities like a clean pool, good gym, and plenty of parking. Excited to see the upgrades finished!

Thomas was so welcoming. Wait let me back up, its like the entire staff was there to welcome me to my tour. I had technical issues applying and it has been the entire staff working to correct it. If they are giving this care to get me in I can just imagine how amazing it will be to live here.

I had a great experience touring Auburn Glenn with Thomas! He was incredibly helpful—answered all of my questions, provided clear quotes comparing different floor plans, and was very transparent about the exciting new renovations coming to the property. His professionalism and honesty made the whole process smooth and informative. Highly recommend touring with Thomas if you're considering moving here!

So far the experience has been great , I moved in about a month ago and I can’t say that I have any complaints.Maintenance has been on top of all of my service request. I don't have loud and rude neighbors. While there are some upgrades that are needed (which renovations have started) everything else has been a breeze honestly.

You get the best bang for the buck here! Atlanta apartments are not affordable, so when I found Auburn Glenn - how grateful I am to live in Auburn Glenn.... But here's the best part ... the management team. They are kind, helpful, genuinely awesome. I can't say that too many people look forward to paying rent, but when rent day comes, I can't wait to stop by for a visit with my check in hand. Sure, I could do it with auto debit, but then I'd miss my visits. Thanks Auburn Glenn!

Very excited to be moving in. Both leasing agents were super helpful and professional. Answered every question I had and helped me every step of the way. I signed with Cam, she is fantastic and quick to respond. Made sure everything was getting taken care of DAY OF as well. Super awesome people working at the office which makes me feel safe.

1st off Im truly over excited to turn the key to my new apartment.u don’t know my struggle.I will say honestly that The staff Ms Cam, Ms, Chansity and the other lady that sit to your left coming into the building were and are great and what they do. they didn’t ask me to leave however it was my choice. I really appreciate them all and miss Kim really knows how to do her job. She does it with compassion. I really appreciate these women for assisting me. thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you to the Cortland staff …excuse me I have to move into my new apartment.🤪 No Netflix and chill, but there will be Tubi and Popeyes tonight lol😂😂😂😂😂 You need a place to stay come see Cam and the crew

I really love Living at the Auburn Gleen apartments, the staff is awesome and if need anything done in my home they always show up with a smile and the leasing office staff is always smiling 😃with love.
