It has been very enjoyable living at Courtland Northlake for the past 10 months. From the first time we met Crystal in the office for our tour we felt welcomed. The apartment complex is very well maintained and the maintenance personnel are prompt and polite when fixing items in our apartment. It's in a good location for travel but still feels like a small personal community.

I cannot speak to living in this community yet as I have yet to move in but my experience with Cassie in the leasing office has been fantastic. I am not one to leave reviews, but I toured with Cassie on two different days (due to my indecision). She was personable, transparent, and answered questions before I even knew to ask them. The communication with this property has been great so far which has eased a lot of transitional anxiety for me. I look forward to moving day!

Let me just say this: The office staff is top notch! We came in to tour the property and were greeted and assisted by Cassie. You simply could not ask for a kinder, more down-to-earth human. She instantly put us at ease and let us know that this is the place we want to call “home”. We have not rented in many years and she answered every question without hesitation. She knows exactly what she is doing! But it didn’t stop there! We have also dealt with Crystal since submitting our application and once again, the level of care and consideration for all of our questions and concerns were addressed clearly and concisely with the utmost professionalism. I cannot yet speak to what it is like to live in this community, but what I can tell you is that we toured only 2 properties and signed a lease here with the actual unit that we’re renting, sight UNSEEN! Our unit is not yet available, and there wasn’t even a floor plan like ours to show - it didn’t stop us! That’s how confident we feel that we chose the right place.

My living experience here has been nothing short of wonderful. The staff is kind and attentive, the amenities are great, and the area is so peaceful. Out of all of the staff members I’ve interacted with, Crystal has been my favorite. She’s easy going, always helpful, and incredibly friendly. Due to a family matter, I had to temporarily leave Cortland Northlake. When I returned, Crystal made the transition seamless. Long story short, I love it here! A great place to live all and all.

My experience with Cortland has been wonderful! My roommates and I were moving there after working and living together at our place of employment and Crystal welcomed us in. Things with Cortland are usually timely and customer focused! Crystal connected that we worked at the same place as a few other residents because the woman simply remembers EVERYTHING! It is wonderful. Our tour was lovely, the location is ideal, and price is great for the layout. Throughout my stay with Cortland there have been a couple hiccups-minor difficulties when trying to figure out our lease and move in. Their onsite maintenance team is usually on top of things but I had one instance where they weren’t timely. Overall, GREAT place! They have the occasional community event such as a food truck! I love that there is a pool and such a wonderful team taking care of me and all residents. If you are thinking about living here I would recommend it!

Where do I even begin? My family moved to Cortland Northlake in July 2024 after a horrible maintenance experience at a complex in Worthington. We loved the location of Cortland Northlake and the layout of the apartments for the price was (and is) the best around. From the moment my husband and I toured the community we were impressed by the community and staff. Crystal has been so welcoming and amazing to us. She remembered us by name (including our toddler and dog) from day 1. The little touches like dog treats, birthday cards on our birthday and her warm personality have helped make us feel right at home. The maintenance staff, Jerred in particular, is top notch. You can tell he really cares about the work he is doing. As the daughter of a handyman, it is refreshing to see someone take so much pride in what they do. He really cares about doing what is best for the residents and never makes us feel like we are bothering him, even if he comes out just to fish a piece a plastic out of the disposal tha

I have lived here for almost 3 years, and I can’t say enough good things about the maintenance team! Anytime I have ever need anything, Jerad has taken care of it. He does a wonderful job. Cortland and the community is lucky to have him. I had a problem with my freezer, and he set me up with a new one the next day when more stock arrived. He even helped me dig out my car during the winter storm, so I could get to work the next day. I know any issues I have will be resolved, and I am so grateful for that.

Our family loves living at Cortland Northlake in Sunbury. The unit is very spacious with an attached garage. The location is convenient for shopping and lots of food options close to us. Crystal was our first contact and she has been awesome even after almost a year here. She provides great customer support and is always following up with us. If I could give more stars I would.

We moved into Cortland in March. It has been a great experience. I was not looking forward to apartment living but it is so great here! Crystal is so personable and sweet! She has been kind and very helpful! The grounds are kept nice and the pool is always clean! Thank you Cortland for a great place to live and not feel like I’m living in an apartment!! I moved in recently and already love it here! Touring, applying, and move-in orientation were super easy and the team was available for assistance through the entire process. Crystal in the office is phenomenal! The area gives a neighborhood/ small community vibe, which I love. Good maintenance response, trash pick-up and access to a compactor, and communication regarding packages are just a few things off the top of my head that I like. Also, they are out early plowing. Additionally, communication in general is top-tier. Memos about holiday hours, tips for cold weather, notifications when weather delays services, etc.

First of all, I want to give Crystal Stallard a shout out for always assisting me in a timely manner! Any questions or comments I brought to her, she was able to help me right away. If you are interested or looking to move to Cortland Northlake, make sure you talk to Crystal because she is great to work with and will get what's best for you! The apartment complex location is one of the main reasons that I have stayed there for a few years. Located close to 71 for a quick trip to Columbus or just a couple miles away from Alum Creek State Park. If you are looking for a location that is within driving distance to Columbus, but not in the mix of all the traffic this is the spot to be! Not only the location, but the amenities offered to residents is another plus! The gym that Cortland Northlake offers is like no other apartment complex! They offer a wide variety of weightlifting machines, cables, dumbbells, kettlebells, treadmills, bikes, stair master, etc. You will not need a gym membership if you stay at Cortlan

Just wanted to update my review - it’s 2025 and we still live here. Now it’s been 6 years going strong. The community is amazing and safe, and the amenities are well kept. We really do love living here and even started a family here. Originally planned to stay for a short stint and build a house, but it’s worked out so well that we have stayed in wait for the building economy to improve. We are content waiting :) OP:———————————————————— My husband and I moved here 4 years ago when the complex was built and owned by Schottenstein. We loved it then and and we love it now! Cortland has created a well oiled machine and we absolutely love Crystal, Janelle, and Jessica who take great care of all our needs. Maintenance team is always responsive and helpful as well.

This complex is quiet and well maintained. Office staff is fantastic and maintenance is on top of issues. I moved in 3 weeks ago and really like my townhome. Plenty of parking and most units have attached garages. Pets are welcome and they have many pet "relief" areas equipped with small bags for waste and places to dispose of the waste. Rent is absolutely reasonable for what you get in this area. Recommended!

I recently moved back to this apartment complex in September after previously living here for over a year. I have had such a good experience, which is why I moved back. The front office is very helpful with any questions and friendly. I can’t say enough good things about the maintenance crew. My work orders are usually completed same day. I have even had to use the emergency 24/7 maintenance line when my fire alarm was randomly going off, and they were at my apartment within 15 minutes. I feel safe walking my dog during the nighttime, and my neighbors have all been friendly.

Me and my family moved into a 3 BR town house in July 2024. From day 1 the property manager Crystal and the entire maintenance crew has been on the ball. They have been prompt in responding to and completing any work orders we have submitted. This is night and day compared to our last apartment at Worthington Meadows. Cortland Northlake has a nice family type community & awesome amenities! Highly recommend you check this place out if you will be moving anytime soon.

It's quiet and safe which are my two biggest factors when needing a place to say. As a single person, I've never felt uneasy or unsafe regardless of the time of day. It's also nice and quite-I work from home and the only noise i'll hear during the week is the lawn mower. All of the staff is wonderful as well. From little cards on your birthday, to fun little holiday treats everyone is always so kind. My cat got out about a year after living here, and they were so quick to send out a message to the community with his photos and my contact, and he was seen within a few hours and home the next day.

My experience living at Northlake preserve was nothing short of excellent. From the living experience and the apartment layout to the maintenance and service response, I can’t say enough how easy and positive the experience was. Lastly and most importantly, the friendly and inviting community within Northlake Preserve (for my kids and I) made it a place I would highly recommend for any single person or family to check out! Special shoutout to Crystal, she’s the apartment manager and was exceptional. She was very helpful and always shared a friendly smile to engage with.
