Sydni was a dream to work with. She is so sweet, informative, and genuine. She made the whole process so easy, which I really appreciated during this process. My wife and I relocated to the DC area this summer, and Kenneth made a long-distance move far easier than it had any right to be. He walked us through multiple video tours so we could choose an apartment without being there in person. When there were mistakes on the sales side, he emailed the right people on our behalf and got them sorted out. What was a hectic and stressful move that had to happen in a hurry, his help made possible. What really stands out is that his help didn't stop once we signed the lease. We've been here two months, and he's still the person we know we can count on whenever an issue comes up. Just last week he helped us get a storage unit after none had been available for months. We love the apartment and the location, and especially how dog-friendly the community is. We've met so many great fellow dog owners here. I lived here for a short time and really enjoyed my apartment complex. HONEST REVIEW (from a currently disgruntled tenant) : - The front office is excellent (except for a random dude that works some Saturdays-not Cameron, he's great-that makes empty promises and never follows up) - The insides of the buildings almost always smell like dog piss - The apartment complex does NOT vet animals or screen them in any way and there are multiple aggressive/not well controlled dogs on the premises. - The pool and jacuzzi area is awesome except not always well kept with tons of bugs often floating in the ill-cleaned waters. - The elevator is broken 60-75% of the time, so living on the 3rd or 4th floor is a pain. - Parking is great and you can almost always find a spot. If you can't street parking is nearby. - They throw a lot of events and bring in food trucks which is a nice touch. - My wifi hasn't been working in over a month due to a coax that the apartment claimed wasn't their responsibility but after many attempts for clarification, they found out it was. This is going to be a long review, but worth reading. First, I want to say that moving is hard. Moving to a completely new place comes with a lot of challenges, bumps, and unexpected situations. In my case, there were definitely moments when I felt overwhelmed and didn’t know how everything was going to work out. But in the end, Cortland made what felt like an impossible move possible. This was my first experience with Cortland. Before moving in, I saw the mixed reviews and understood that every apartment community will have its issues. I’m someone who is a problem solver. What stood out to me about Cortland was teamwork. From leasing to management and everyone involved behind the scenes, people worked with me, accommodated me, listened to me, and helped me through a very difficult transition. I honestly don’t believe my move would have been possible without the Cortland team. I had the most exceptional experience meeting Dessi and looking at the apartment complex. Everything was amazing, but the best was the service Dessi gave us as we walked and all the way to the end. I visited one of They’re Competitors, 30 minutes after meeting with her and the experience was horrendous. Nowhere near the excellent service that Desi provided. By far the best apartment complex that I have ever lived in that I will be extremely reluctant to leave. The front office people are all amazing (especially Austin) and proactive/helpful. The property is always super clean (and safe), and everything is well-maintained. This complex also has the best maintenance team of anywhere I've lived. They are all extremely kind, understanding, and efficient. I am especially fond of Gaspar, who treats all of us like we're an extension of his family. He has dropped everything to come help me during late night maintenance emergencies, and I couldn't be more grateful for him. I love it here!

I signed a one year lease but had to move out early due to relocation, the whole leasing team including Macey, Rama is really friendly and very helpful. Overall, I had a great time living in the property, which is newly renovated and is wonderfully located in the heart of pentagon city. Macey is a great manager and she really takes care of all the residents and very easy to work with. If I ever come back to DC, I will live here again.

I’ve been living here for about 9 months now, and overall, I’ve had a very good experience. It’s a great community with excellent amenities, including a swimming pool, gym, and Amazon lockers. The management team communicates well about community events, maintenance issues, reminders, and important alerts. The maintenance service is excellent and, most importantly, very prompt. My apartment’s AC unit broke down in the middle of a Texas summer, on a weekend. Since they needed to order a replacement part, the repair couldn’t be completed until Monday. However, instead of simply asking me to wait, they provided a temporary portable AC unit and even came out to install it. Things can break in any apartment, but I really appreciate how they handled the situation and provided a practical temporary solution instead of excuses.

This is a very nice building and is in a good location. But the staff is what really makes it great! Everyone in the office is very kind and responsive to whatever your needs may be. I worked a lot with Rama when I first moved in. She was so helpful on one of the most stressful days of my life. She answered every question before I even thought to ask it. Also, she takes the time to speak/greet me every time I see her, which is always appreciated! Malik in the office is also very helpful and helped address an issue quickly and without any delay!

I cannot explain in words how great my move in experience was because of Tiffany, Patrick and Q. I could not make it in person and Tiffany did my virtual tour and it was great. She took her time to explain and show everything like I was there. Just her professional presence on the call set a standard for the other apartments that I still needed to see. No one came close to it. Fast forwarding, I happen to be in the area the day I planned to see all apartments and stopped in to see if I could see the apartment in person. I never had to worry because of how exceptional and responsive the entire maintenence team is - seriously the best I have ever encountered in an apartment. Huge kudos to them. The location is amazing and overall we had a great experience here. Would definitely recommend living here.

I’ve lived at the apartment complex for almost two years and the service is by far my favorite part of living here. The staff is amazing and maintenance is an amazing team that responds rapidly. Patrick does an amazing job with patch work and even some of my minor repairs like the batter for our keyless doors. Excellent team!

In my opinion this is the best Cortland property I've ever lived at and what makes it even better is the staff!! in particular the maintenance team Patrick has been such a huge help since he's gotten to Cortland noda from measurements around my apartment, my AC unit and taking the time to explain things when I need it ! Also honorable mention Mr Damion he's also great

This review is exclusively for the patient angel and superstar that is Morgan. I can definitely be annoying and she answered everything quickly, patiently and kindly - never letting her annoyance show =P She has made this move in experience seamless and with no additional stress. So thankful to her! Also shoutout to Damien as well - such a sweetheart who came to my rescue insanely quickly. @Apt specific commentary: so spacious, ideal location near plaza, optimist hall, everything you'd ever want. 10/10 @Maintenance team: Pat and Moses are awesome but tbh everyone on the team is, so sweet.

I recently called maintenance for an issue with my apartment. Patrick reached out to me both days to keep me updated on the progress as well as next steps. He was efficient and informative! Now that I’ve lived here for 4 months, I think I can leave a solid review. I moved here from living in Ballantyne because I wanted to be uptown. Pros: - I can walked 7-8mins to Optimist Hall - I can walk 3 mins to Night Swim coffee - quick 3 min drive to urban district market - near and light rail! - Veryyyy clean apartment complex. Every time I walk through hallways or mail room or lounge, I see the cleaning ladies. Working hard and I appreciate them! -The space I get for my 2 bedroom for the steal of a price I got for being in this area is phenomenal! - literally right around the corner from south end and plaza - love the parking garage— I feel safe knowing that it has full gates that close and aren’t just the “bars” that someone could squeeze through -Love the package and mail system— I’ve NEVER had a problem.. I get alerted when my package is in a secure locker, and I go, scan my barcode and pick it up. The only time my package isn’t in a locker is when there’s overflow, but that’s an area or in front of

Cortland Noda Staff is outstanding especially Rikki the whole move in process was so easy, they helped from start to finish. The apartment was is great condition moving in I have no complaints whatsoever ! My worry was going to be Parking but that's literally never an issue even with guest ! Thank you guys so much for everything and making this process smooth as possible Update to the review: This place is still so amazing and the staff is still great ! I want to highlight the maintenance team because they are amazing and prompt. I greatly enjoyed my time at Cortland NoDa. Apartments are great and reasonably priced. Location is nice. Light rail stop right outside with very minimal sound. VERY minimal crime. Best appartment community I've lived in so far. The management team was incredibly helpuf when we applied and has remained so after moving in (shout out to Rikki for giving the single greatest tour i've been in). Any work order that I put in is usualy fixed within 2 hours by a great anf friendly maintenance staff. Ameneties a good and kept pretty clean as are the halways. 13.5/10 would reccomend.

My wife and I’s time at Cortland NoDa is coming to a close, but this has been our best experience at an apartment complex in our three years in Charlotte. The apartment is in a growing neighborhood that is within a 10 minute walk, 10 minute drive or just a few light rail stops to Optimist Hall, Camp North End, Plaza Midwood, NoDa, and Uptown. Access to the Little Sugar Creek Greenway is across the street as well. The units and amenities are clean and modern. We also want to give the leasing team a shoutout on their responsiveness and friendliness. There was one issue with some packages being stolen during our time here, but this was escalated quickly with the proper authorities to help resolve the matter, obviously a tough situation for all. Thanks again for everything!

I love living here! The security is great and the facilities (pool, gym, etc) are clean and well kept. Maintenance always comes within a day of me submitting a service request. Most importantly, the leasing agents and managers (love u Rikki) go the extra mile to put together fun events and always help me when I need it. The location is super convenient and I’ve been able to make a whole bunch of friends within the community

I toured with Rikki and she was so amazing I applied for a lease that night. For my time there, she was my go to person and was always there to help me whenever I had a question or needed assistance. This is a great community with great amenities and the location is ideal. There is construction in the surrounding area, but it is temporary and isn’t terribly interfering. However, it does get a little congested during morning rush hour. This is not the fault of the apartment, and there is nothing they can do to change it, but something to be aware of when considering where to move. Give this place a tour, it really is great.

I have recently moved here from another sister property, and I will say that I am enjoying my stay thus far. Very clean area, great amenities, parking garage, and a beautiful view of uptown right outside my window. Michaela happened to help me move over, and she was amazing. Wonderful customer service, all my questions are answered within a timely manner. The staff truly go above and beyond for their residents, thank you. Best place I have ever lived. I really cannot say enough good things about this place. We moved because we were able to buy a house but if I had to ever rent again I would come back in a second. First, the facilities: the whole complex is extremely well kept. The hallways and carpets are cleaned weekly, landscape is well maintained and constantly refreshed, you will notice almost constant maintenance (which I feel is a good thing, everything thing still feels brand new), and amenities are regularly updated. The maintenance staff is extremely kind and professional and you will get to know them by name just because they are always walking around doing something. Two examples stand out (actually the only two because things rarely broke): our dryer stopped working, maintenance was there within a day and replaced the dryer immediately. We didn’t have to fuss with waiting for parts or anything. Secondly, our ac went out at 9:30pm on a Sunday in July. Maintenance was there within 30 minutes on a Sunday! Amenities ar

Been here for 2 years and recently moved out of state but would have renewed if I didn’t have to relocate. Everyone from the leasing staff was so helpful and accommodating! Maintenance staff, esp Damion the supervisor, was phenomenal - so kind and responded to requests extremely fast! Would recommend this apartment to anyone moving to Charlotte 😊😊
