We have lived here about two and half years. The place is so convenient. Staff is terrific. The complex is very nice. I write this review today as I sent a maintenance request this morning (Sunday, Feb 1). Within 10 minutes the maintenance man was here to do the repair. Within 30 minutes I received a call to make sure the repair was done. I lived in NYC and Wilmington, NC, and never had such a positive experience.

I recently called maintenance for an issue with my apartment. Patrick reached out to me both days to keep me updated on the progress as well as next steps. He was efficient and informative! Now that I’ve lived here for 4 months, I think I can leave a solid review. I moved here from living in Ballantyne because I wanted to be uptown. Pros: - I can walked 7-8mins to Optimist Hall - I can walk 3 mins to Night Swim coffee - quick 3 min drive to urban district market - near and light rail! - Veryyyy clean apartment complex. Every time I walk through hallways or mail room or lounge, I see the cleaning ladies. Working hard and I appreciate them! -The space I get for my 2 bedroom for the steal of a price I got for being in this area is phenomenal! - literally right around the corner from south end and plaza - love the parking garage— I feel safe knowing that it has full gates that close and aren’t just the “bars” that someone could squeeze through -Love the package and mail system— I’ve NEVER had a problem.. I get alerted when my package is in a secure locker, and I go, scan my barcode and pick it up. The only time my package isn’t in a locker is when there’s overflow, but that’s an area or in front of

The apartment was is great condition moving in I have no complaints whatsoever ! My worry was going to be Parking but that's literally never an issue even with guest ! I greatly enjoyed my time at Cortland NoDa. Apartments are great and reasonably priced. Location is nice. Light rail stop right outside with very minimal sound. VERY minimal crime. Best appartment community I've lived in so far. The management team was incredibly helpuf when we applied and has remained so after moving in (shout out to Rikki for giving the single greatest tour i've been in). Any work order that I put in is usualy fixed within 2 hours by a great anf friendly maintenance staff. Ameneties a good and kept pretty clean as are the halways. 13.5/10 would reccomend.

My wife and I’s time at Cortland NoDa is coming to a close, but this has been our best experience at an apartment complex in our three years in Charlotte. The apartment is in a growing neighborhood that is within a 10 minute walk, 10 minute drive or just a few light rail stops to Optimist Hall, Camp North End, Plaza Midwood, NoDa, and Uptown. Access to the Little Sugar Creek Greenway is across the street as well. The units and amenities are clean and modern. We also want to give the leasing team a shoutout on their responsiveness and friendliness. There was one issue with some packages being stolen during our time here, but this was escalated quickly with the proper authorities to help resolve the matter, obviously a tough situation for all. Thanks again for everything!

I’ve been living at Cortland NoDa for a few months now and I can say that it has been pretty great so far. Everyone I’ve met here, both staff and residents, have been incredibly nice and open. The amenities, while not being the biggest, are great (my only issue being that one grill). Honestly 10/10 would recommend.

I love living here! The security is great and the facilities (pool, gym, etc) are clean and well kept. Maintenance always comes within a day of me submitting a service request. Most importantly, the leasing agents and managers (love u Rikki) go the extra mile to put together fun events and always help me when I need it. The location is super convenient and I’ve been able to make a whole bunch of friends within the community

I toured with Rikki and she was so amazing I applied for a lease that night. For my time there, she was my go to person and was always there to help me whenever I had a question or needed assistance. This is a great community with great amenities and the location is ideal. There is construction in the surrounding area, but it is temporary and isn’t terribly interfering. However, it does get a little congested during morning rush hour. This is not the fault of the apartment, and there is nothing they can do to change it, but something to be aware of when considering where to move. Give this place a tour, it really is great.

Best place I have ever lived. I really cannot say enough good things about this place. We moved because we were able to buy a house but if I had to ever rent again I would come back in a second. First, the facilities: the whole complex is extremely well kept. The hallways and carpets are cleaned weekly, landscape is well maintained and constantly refreshed, you will notice almost constant maintenance (which I feel is a good thing, everything thing still feels brand new), and amenities are regularly updated. The maintenance staff is extremely kind and professional and you will get to know them by name just because they are always walking around doing something. Two examples stand out (actually the only two because things rarely broke): our dryer stopped working, maintenance was there within a day and replaced the dryer immediately. We didn’t have to fuss with waiting for parts or anything. Secondly, our ac went out at 9:30pm on a Sunday in July. Maintenance was there within 30 minutes on a Sunday! Amenities ar

Been here for 2 years and recently moved out of state but would have renewed if I didn’t have to relocate. Everyone from the leasing staff was so helpful and accommodating! This was the best apartment I lived in in Charlotte! Staff was very helpful and available. The apartment was spacious and the rent was reasonable. There was always parking available, I didn't have any issues with the garage. I saw the staff stop a loud party in the pool area so they actually listen to noise issues. The location is great, I was able to save a lot commuting on the train to work. My only concerns were: - I lived on the bottom floor and the light coming from the pool made the bedroom too bright at night. I got curtains and that helped. - My upstairs neighbors had a dog that would slam a bone or something around on the floor. Luckily they moved out, I didn't have noise issues after that. - The bathrooms feature a "silent fan". It didn't work very well, and I can't imagine why anyone would want it to be silent. Great place, I would recommend it.

Stellar staff, responsive maintenance, optimal location! Whatever you need, they get it done. We signed our lease with Que and he went above and beyond. Since then, we have been very impressed with all of Cortland Noda's team -- particularly Que, Rikki, Lauren, Crystal, Damion, and more. I've lived in apartments over 20 years, never seen a staff care more about residents. Also nearly every day you see facilities employees doing upkeep of common areas, landscaping, pool and courtyard, and even wiping down gym equipment. We've only been to a few resident events, but they go all out. For the location, taking a Light Rail train ride is 6 minutes (2-3 stops) to get to Uptown; interstate is less than a mile away by car.

We moved here only after having a conversation with one member of the staff & it was the best decision we could have made. I have lived at Cortland Noda for 6 months now, and it has been amazing. Lauren was super helpful with my move-in and signing process. The area is great, and the building is always kept up very well. My service requests are always resolved quickly. Parking is always easy for me or my guests. Rikki is the sweetest, and always helps me answer any questions I might have, and I love chatting with her everyday. We moved here in early September, 2023. On our third day we had to euthanize one of our cats. Later that day we received flowers and a beautiful card from the staff of Cortland. Que was amazing! I came in with a budget and specific needs in terms of layout, desired level and apartment features. The community has several different floor plans and he picked out the perfect one immediately. I still wanted to view another floorplan but the best fit was the one he originally suggested. He was very thorough and straightforward with all my inquiries.I did not apply due to my circumstances changing shortly after the tour but I think it would have been a great fit!

Leasing agent Rikki has been very easy to work with. She always responds to emails quickly and concerns with the property are taken seriously and addressed promptly. The unit I moved into was in mint condition with minimal aesthetic blemishes. There is also minimal noise from surrounding units. This property does not seem overcrowded and there is never much foot traffic through the hallways. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone with a moderate budget looking to live around the NoDa/ Uptown Charlotte area.

I love Cortland Noda! The leasing staff has been nothing but helpful and the complex is clean and beautiful. I worked closely with Que during the leasing process and he was always willing to answer all my questions and always with a smile. The one downside to Cortland Noda is the guest parking situation. You have to plan ahead when someone is coming to visit because you have to go to the office to get a personalized physical guest pass any time you want someone to visit. I think there are a lot of ways this issue could be solved… (1) Give each resident 2 universal guest passes that they can use anytime. (2) Create an online system that allows residents to register a guest so that way we don’t have to walk to the office every time we have a visitor. Also the office is closed on Sunday so as of now you can’t have a spontaneous visit on Sundays. The Cortland in Mooresville has this kind of system already in place. (3) Make the entire top one or two floors visitor parking. There is plenty of open spaces in the pa

This is a great community with friendly staff, clean premises, and great parking. My only gripe with loving here is the location. There is VERY little to walk to (A food hall, a deli, and a cafe) and not many stores around at all. Unless you take the train often, this just isn't exactly an ideal location.

Living at Cortland NoDa has been a great experience. Properties are well maintained, communication is clear and prompt, staff is friendly and responsive. Amenities are great, clean and well updated. Apartments are modern and open. The only con is that rent rises quite a bit each year.

I had another amazing interaction with Que in the leasing office, at Cortland Noda. He always has a smile and easily sparks conversation. Today he went above and beyond. I had a package delivered that was too large for the package locker system. Instead of leaving it unattended in the mailroom or in the leasing office where I could not retrieve it after hours, he offered to place it in my apartment (with my permission) so I’d have it when I came home. Cortland Noda has been a great place to live for me. The leasing staff is extremely attentive and always willing to go above and beyond to accommodate residents. Maintenance crew is also very helpful and quick to resolve issues. My favorite thing about the staff is how easy going they are. The building itself has a number of different amenities that I love taking advantage of. My favorites are the gym that includes many different machines along with free weights, the pool and grilling areas and lastly - the brand new coffee machine that gets me JACKED in the morning. Cortland noda is great! The front office staff are always very helpful and maintenance requests are handled quickly. It is also right on the light rail. Closets/storage space is a bit limited in my unit, but that is the only downside I can think of.

The hunt for the perfect apartment in NoDa is over - this is it. When you walk in to the lobby, it’s immaculately clean, there’s good music playing and you are greeted with big smiles (and sometimes a resident dog). Several options for floor plans, very reasonably priced for the quality of the accommodations. Stunning courtyard and resident lounge. Lots of community events, group fitness classes, etc. Excellent food and drinks in walking distance. And (in my opinion) the best part? The light rail stop is directly outside your front door. You are fully equipped to take over Charlotte and make it your own. If you’re thinking about joining us at the Cortland NoDa, just do it. I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Move in was smooth with Rikki meeting me with the key and fob and a walk thru of the apartment. Nice welcome to the neighborhood gift in the apartment. The community has great amenities and activities for residents and their invited guests. The one drawback is the distance between elevators if your apartment is in the 30-50 number range. Staircases are plentiful. Good location for the light rail with a station just across the street and in walking distance to Optimist Hall. Cortland NoDa is a good choice for my first home in Charlotte.

Drove from ATL to Charlotte for a job. Contacted Cortland day before I left as one of 3 apt buildings I was interested in. Que immediately offered to give me a FaceTime tour of the apt I was interested in and even made a suggestion of one I hadn't considered. And I frickin loved it. Though Que was on vacation for the holidays while I signed up, Lauren was very accommodating and took the time to show me the place in person and help with signing up. Que was the only person who offered the virtual tour of all the places I contacted and helped me seal the deal. Great courtyard/pool, clean building, private parking and convenient location combined with a wonderful staff let me know I made the right decision. Thanks Que! Thanks Lauren! Couldn't be happier.

I love living here! This is my 4th apartment complex I’ve lived in and by far the best. -amenities, hallways, property are kept very clean; no weird smells in the hallways (like other properties in the area) -management is amazing and very good at communicating. Que, Morgan, Lauren have provided a great experience -great resident events -maintenance is very fast -appliances are new and up to date -apartments have good layouts and square footage (larger than others in the area) -right across from light rail and short walk to optimist hall, location can’t be beat! -I feel very safe -there is always available parking -I like the package system Overall I feel like the price of rent is very fair for what you get here!

We toured the complex with Quentin. He was so nice and really took his time showing us all the different amenities offered at the property. We were especially impressed by the bike storage (lockers and room) as well as the pet spa and heated pool. The entire building was clean and seemed brand new even though he said it was built a few years in the past. He was extremely friendly and answered any question we asked. I especially appreciated the folder of information he provided with multiple tour plans printed out. We had never thought of living in the NoDa area before touring with Q at Cortland but it definitely piqued our interest.

We moved to Cortland NoDa in June’22. Before moving we did a lot of check around for good living spaces and finally moved here. Morgan helped us in walking through the apartment. Google reviews said that some staffs are not great, but Morgan is amazing. We moved into a 1BHK on ground with high ceilings which I love . It’s maintained so well that it’s as good as new one. They respond to your queries really quick .We had issue with kitchen surface light and fridge water filter which was taken care very next day . The amenities include gym, pool , outdoor grill next to pool,24/7 coffee bar and all are well maintained. They have Garage type parking where you can enter only if you have garage remote which is cool . Also they have lots of event happening for residents. The commute is so convenient here, the T Station is literally 20 yards from the apartment and uptown Charlotte is just 15 mins away. So it’s been 6 months in this place now and good so far .

I am new to the city and I looked at 8 different apartments within the Plaza Midwood and NoDa areas. Cortland was hands down the nicest one and the only one I applied for. Since living here a couple months I cannot leave a glowing enough review regarding the staff, the building, and the location. Q, Lauren, and Morgan are always kind, helpful, and prompt with any questions or needs I have. The maintenance team is stellar as well. Damian was responsive and personable and knocked out our only maintenance request within the same day. I have loved being in such a close proximity to the light rail (across the street). I take it to work and it saves on Ubers when I go have drinks in other neighborhoods. I plan to live here for an indefinite amount of time as I am totally in love with this place. Thank you Cortland for making my move to a new city so much more enjoyable!

This is my fifth month living in this community and I have had a wonderful experience, from an amazing management team to an equally amazing maintenance team everything is top notch. The living experience is great. The location is very apt for people without a car as the train station is right at the doorstep. It is very safe neighborhood. There are parks and walking paths nearby for walks and cycling. I would definitely recommend . Great management team here and the community is very nice & well kept. Morgan was super helpful when I visited to take a tour and is always very welcoming. After I decided to apply, Lauren and Crystal made my move-in process an absolute breeze. I highly recommend Cortland NoDa.

This is the place you want to live in Charlotte. They have a great pool, a great exercise room, and many more amenities. The neighbors and staff are very friendly. In fact, the maintenance crew regularly holds BBQs for the residents. Amazing place to live!!

I’ve been a resident of Cortland NoDa since 2021, and my experience of dealing with the leasing staff has been phenomenal. Every time I had to come to the leasing office to ask a question, or report a problem, I’ve been greeting with professional service, and incredibly friendly, and accommodating attitudes. In particular I’d like to thank Q, Morgan, and Lauren for all they’ve done for me, these are all excellent employees whose work ethic goes far beyond what’s required of them. Thank you!

I loved living here. I moved in during the pandemic and it was a lovely apartment to live and work remotely in :) Beautiful interior, loved the balcony and the peace and quiet. The staff at Cortland NoDa is the best and I miss them. But highly recommend these apartments :)

Living at Cortland Noda has been my best renting experience to date! 5 Stars for the leasing staff, especially Lauren and Morgan. The staff are SUPERSTARS and deserve credit for their hard work, patience, flexibility, and for always creating an easy environment to communicate openly. 5 Stars for location and amenities. The light rail and close proximity to Uptown and Noda has made it easy to attend concerts and go out to dinner without having to worry about paying or finding parking. The pool area and sitting by the waterfall feature is amazing for a relaxing day off. My fiancé has definitely drank his moneys worth of free coffee and hot chocolate. 🤦🏼♀️😂 5 Stars for the maintenance staff who have always been easy to talk to and respectful while doing repairs or replacing a water filter. I have to give 4 stars for these reasons: Unfortunately construction has started next to our building on E 21st and you can hear it even at 8 am on a Saturday morning. Obviously it’s temporary. My boyfriend and I moved to Cortland NoDa last year and had an absolutely amazing experience from the first tour all the way through our lease end. The leasing office staff were so accommodating of us in the beginning as we had some changes to our anticipated move in date, and once we did move in we received calls from the manager welcoming us to the community which was so thoughtful. We mostly interacted with Deja, Lauren, and Morgan all of whom went above and beyond to assist us with anything we needed. The property also has beautiful amenities, spacious balconies, and is in an excellent location. If not for a relocation back to Texas, we absolutely would have stayed long term at this community and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a new home in Charlotte!

We’ve lived here for a year and just re l-signed our lease. The building is well kept up. They’re constantly doing preventative maintenance even though it’s a new building which helps keep things looking nice. Any service request I’ve raised has been resolved in less than a couple of days. The management is super friendly and approachable and they actually remember your name and face. The amenities are really nice - the pool, the grills, the fitness center and seating area by the pool, bike lockers and package lockers. The events each month are varied and they do resident contests from time to time which is nice. The apartments themselves are tasteful - the bathroom and kitchen layouts are great. We’re lucky enough to be on a top floor with a stunning city view- I know that sound does seem to travel easy though the walls and floors so it’s luck of the draw if you have loud neighbors. I can definitely be annoying and she answered everything quickly, patiently and kindly - never letting her annoyance show =P She has made this move in experience seamless and with no additional stress. So thankful to her! Also shoutout to Damien as well - such a sweetheart who came to my rescue insanely quickly. @Apt specific commentary: so spacious, ideal location near plaza, optimist hall, everything you'd ever want. 10/10

Cortland NoDa is an amazing place so far! I moved from Chicago to Charlotte last month and the transition was very easy with the managements help. The location is perfect, with the line right next to the building which makes going to Uptown or south end fairly easy, and having Optimist Hall a walk away is amazing for lunch breaks! The building it self is nice and clean, and the package system here is great, I had multiple big items shipped (couch, computer desk, furniture) and brought up right to my door so I wouldn't have to fetch it myself. Packages are also secure, delivering right to the front desk if it needs a signature or is heavy and is kept securely with them. The building also has great amenities, with a pool and gym that are very nice. Only thing I would recommend is adding some more leg equipment/racks to the gym as that's the only thing missing there. The common area is really nice as well and a coffee machine is perfect for those mornings, evenings, nights whenever you are craving a cup of joe.

I absolutely love living @ Cortland Noda. The management, staff, maintenance staff, and housekeeping are all amazing! Always there to assist with me with any problems I may have or questions I need answers to. The building is gorgeous and the amenities are the cherry on top! Very happy I found this complex! 10/10 definitely recommend.

I love Cortland NoDa and have enjoyed my experience here so far . The amenities and customer service are unparalleled. They are also super pet friendly and I always see the girls in the front catering to animals . They keep treats in the front and know all dogs by name. The landscaping is great and I couldn’t have made a better choice .

Choosing Cortland Noda was a great decision. The staff is really and make sure things run smoothly. The amenities are always clean and sanitized. Shoutout to the maintenance staff for that. The location is really convenient! Cortland Noda supports small businesses by having food trucks share their amazing food/beverages with us. They have security on the premise, which is a plus. The staff gets any issues resolved as soon as possible. I have no real complaints about this place in all honesty. A wonderful place to live.

Best view of the city, and walking distance to everything uptown Charlotte has to offer! I've toured multiple properties in the Charlotte metro area and this location takes it to a whole different level, from how welcoming and knowledgeable the managing staff was (Lauren and Susan)to even hosting monthly events and food trucks for the residents! I am so looking forward to my new chapter in my career while enjoying this new community family this fall!

I transferred from another Cortland property in Dallas, TX in July and I must say, despite being owned by the same company, this NoDa property is so much better. The check-in process went smoothly. The leasing staff is always available when you call. Maintenance staff are quick to respond and so nice. The community itself stays clean and is so quiet. My one bdrm is so stinkin cute too! I must say the addition of a free parking garage and food/coffee trucks that stop by weekly/biweekly doesn't hurt either. It's been almost three months and I have do not regret my decision to live here at Cortland NoDa.

This is a beautiful property, extremely clean with great amenities. Also while being there I saw a food truck so always nice to have by. I had a great tour by one of the property managers Lauren. She was extremely helpful answering all of my questions and had a very positive attitude.

Wow! After looking at dozens of properties, literally, I am so happy I found Cortland NoDa, and especially Deja! She is the leasing agent I worked with, and she is amazing. She is efficient, professional, and most important to me, she is honest and candid. I was so disheartened to meet so many leasing agents [elsewhere] who tried to cajole me into a particular apartment or to an apartment that was far beyond my needs. Deja did none of this, she listened to me, and showed me exactly what I needed. Please, if you’re looking for a place to live, check this place out. The location, price point, and amenities are what really drew me to the property in the first place, but it was the staff that really sealed the deal!

Cortland NoDa has everything we need to make it, as the saying goes, “No Place Like Home”. From the awesome living spaces to the clean kept public outside surrounding areas, it’s always awesome to come home. The locality, to anything we need is so close and convenient, when choosing a place to live too, this should be your first choice! The staff from the first day, were friendly, informative, and helpful, always making us feel welcome. We love the quality that was put into our apartment, and the thought of the layout for the community as a whole makes it so easy to enjoy.

As a future resident in the Charlotte area, Cortland NoDa definitely has set the mark high for the other nearby, newer properties. The amenities, location and community events provided are simply unmatched. The NoDa area is enriched with a diverse population with something for everyone. A well kept property as such just makes the urban lifestyle so much more enjoyable!

Fantastic building to live in. The building has all the amenities you need and Optimist Hall in walking distance. The whole leasing team, maintenance and building management are super helpful, always friendly and available. Vanessa helped me make a big move to Charlotte and the whole process was seamless! Despite COVID they still had many virtual community events planned every week as well as food trucks. Location is fantastic and you can't beat the proximity of the light rail across the street. If you are looking for a new home, definitely give Vanessa a call, she's the best!

My husband and I have been here for a little over a year and we loved it so much we ended up renewing. We were offered a renewal special that we could not pass up and our rate did not go up very much from the past year. We have been blessed with awesome neighbors and have not had really any issues. We have a top floor with a stunning pool view and enjoy the fountain sounds at night while sipping our wine on our balcony.

Love living here! Vanessa and Crystal helped move me in about a year ago but Susan and Deja have helped me out in my renewal process. The service Team is super quick and professional and the amenities are beautifully kept by Kelley the Head Housekeeper! After looking for an apartment in the Charlotte area, I found that nothing compared to Cortland NoDa. From their competitive prices to their customer service I was blown away. Not only are the amenities amazing but the location of these apartments is perfect. The proximity to NoDa, Plaza Midwood and the tram system are some of the things that sold me. There is never a problem with parking in the garage and I have never not had a spot. They also hold events/food trucks multiple times a month which is convenient and fun. I had the pleasure of speaking with Jason, who was beyond helpful in trying to see if Cortland NoDa was right fit for me. The staff shows that they truly care about their residents and tend to be very helpful and responsive if you ever do run into an issue.

I recently signed a lease at Cortland NoDa beginning of December 2020 and the whole process went so smoothly! Everything felt organized, and everyone I worked with had great communication, even during the holidays. Madison and Vanessa both made sure I knew all the details of what my lease would entail, and they made my decision to choose Cortland NoDa super easy. Crystal took her time in welcoming me on my move-in day since I wasn't able to make time to tour before signing, and the Cortland welcome setup was such a nice touch. The location is really great - close to a lot of restaurants (Optimist Hall!), groceries, and shops. Although I haven't been using the light rail because of covid, it's a comfort knowing I'd be able to use it once offices open back up. Having the conference room and resident lobby available has been great for whenever I get tired of working in my apartment. The mailroom is really convenient with accessible package lockers.
