The concierges are very respectful and very professional. Whenever I walk in, they always greet me with a smile and ask how my day is going. That truly means a lot to me. The building is always clean, they have treats at the desk for my dogs, free packets of hand sanitizers, and mints at the desk. I really enjoy it here.

The staff at this property are Amazing! The manager is extremely engaged with this property and is abundantly knowledgeable on its features and needs of the residents. Maggie at the front desk is always wearing a smile and creates a friendly atmosphere and delivers quality service along side the concierge service. Alex takes care of the property and makes immediate repairs whenever they come up, making the comfort of the residents his top priority. The apartment has a fabulous array of amenities and beautiful luxury quality all the way around

I've been living at The Southmore since 2019 and love it here. We're right in the city of Houston, but it still feels like a chill, hip neighborhood—no drama -very laid-back community. The apartments are super spacious, too. Unfortunately, I looked at other apartments, and these are the most spacious ones in Houston, with half baths and huge walk-in L-shaped closets. I have to shout out to Malek at Concierge and the VALET guys. Also, I'm really loving Erica and Stephanie, the new manager and supervisor. And big thanks to Maggie, the leasing agent—they're all such sweethearts and super helpful! They’re new management “Cortland”, but they make everything easy for me. They're always honest and straightforward when I have questions about my apartment or anything else. I really appreciate that! Thanks for everything, you guys! ♥️💗💗💗

Talk about Luxury!! The Cortland Museum District is really luxurious and their staff is the best of the best. Ericka helped me out and was really knowledgeable of the property. She was the perfect representative to show me around and assist me with my move from California. I would recommend Ericka to anyone and everyone!! She is willing to go above and beyond. I've been impressed with how quickly they fix small issues around my unit. Kenny, in particular, is a spectacular member of the team who is always friendly, professional, and thorough in his work. My dog even loves him! Furthermore, when Cortland took over, the previous management left some issues not initially brought to light (especially building plumbing). The unit manager, Stephanie, ensured this was looked into regardless of holidays, bad weather (we had an actual snow day in Houston this year), and around-the-clock. She followed up and saw the issue through till it was resolved. Maintenance issues are a natural part of living in any apartment or home, but Cortland's timely and professional response to these issues really showcases its character. I'm looking forward to renewing my lease!

I recently toured Cortland in the museum district and absolutely loved it! The museums are within walking distance along with many restaurants and bars. Beautiful views, great amenities, and the staff was so friendly and accommodating.

I've lived at The Southmore Apartments for the past two years, and I must say, the recent changes under Cortland's new management have been fantastic! In just the past few weeks, I've already noticed significant improvements. The communication from the team has been excellent, especially thanks to Maggie, who is always helpful and attentive. One of the biggest improvements I've seen is the new system for handling mail and larger packages. It's been much more efficient, and I appreciate these necessary changes. I'm looking forward to seeing what other upgrades are in store under the new management.
