I absolutely love the way Cortland staff run and maintain the apartments. The staff are ALL friendly. Each time I place a maintenance request, the crew takes care of it immediately on the same day. Cortland Mountain Vista is a quiet, safe, beautiful, and great community with easy access to US-60 and a very responsive customer service and maintenance team. We moved in almost two months ago and we love living here. It is a step up from the complex we were living in.

From my very first tour with Kesha, I could sense the pride she takes in her work, which made a strong first impression. My interactions with the rest of the staff have also been excellent—Miranda is especially wonderful. She responds quickly, is attentive, and truly aims to please. The maintenance team has been equally impressive: polite, professional, and efficient. Overall, I really enjoy living here and feel confident it was a great choice. And I have to mention the gym—it’s fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor workout areas. Keep up the great work, team!

We had several maintenance needs as we had just moved in, and they were all resolved in the same day. Our maintenance tech, Caesar, was incredibly awesome!!! He immediately introduced himself and asked about me, making me feel welcomed and valued. He was very friendly, yet professional. Caesar even came back the next day to make sure that everything was still in working order. 4 days since moving in and I am already extremely impressed!!!

I've lived at Cortland Mountain Vista for just shy of a year and I love it. The amenities are nice and well maintained, as well as the property in general. I will say the buildings are not great with sound proofing- i.e. I can hear my neighbors sometimes (I live on the second floor). Its not horrible but it is noticeable, especially in the evenings when everyone is getting home from work. Office staff and maintenance have been great whenever I need them. Overall the vibe is great and I'll be renewing my lease in the fall!

Edit: it won’t let me add more than one review so I’d like to add that Tai and Rich and Kevin have all helped me on multiple occasions. Kevin has helped me with mail room issues many times and gone above and beyond. Tai and Rich have carried up groceries to the 3rd floor a couple of times and I have been very appreciative!! Develle and Austin were the technicians that came to our apartment to help us fix 3 issues. They were done in under an hour and came within 2 hours of reporting the issues. Both of them were very friendly and kind with answering questions and problem solving. The Cortland Mountain Vista team has been nothing but helpful with our move and first week here!

I don’t feel like I have been here long enough yet to be able to say how the community is I have heard fights or people yelling at each other out side my apartment but I couldn’t see who it was but besides that everyone has been really friendly and nice and so far I’m enjoying my time here the noise levels are definitely louder here from neighbors then other apartments I’ve lived in which can be kinda annoying especially with mine and my roommate’s weird sleep schedule

I came and toured like 3 times waiting for my condo to sell before I moved in, and she was always so helpful with all my questions. All of the staff here so far have been amazing and so friendly to work with! The community is great as well.. very clean and quiet! Love it!! :)

Ashley, the community manager, handled an issue I'd had several months ago extremely well. Sad to be leaving, just couldn't afford the rent increase.

I moved in a week ago and so far I am absolutely loving it here. I had a horrible living experience at my previous apartment complex regarding pest infestations, filthy interiors, extremely noisy neighbors, and condescending management. Cortland Mountain Vista took the time to listen to all my concerns during my tour and reassured me that I would not have the same experience like I did at my previous apartment. The complex is beautiful, the unit layout is so spacious with amazing appliances, so far the neighbors haven't been inappropriately loud, and I haven't seen a single pest to worry about. The best part of this experience so far is management/office staff. They've been empathetic to all my concerns and needs and I feel so comfortable approaching them. Thank you so much to Marina and Caitlin for your patience, kindness, and for being so accommodating. I truly appreciate all your help more than you will ever know.

My review is as of August 7, 2024 and I will be moving into my unit next week. I am moving down to the area for grad school & have been looking at apartments in the area since around April. There are a LOT of options in this area don't get me wrong but if you compare the other Google reviews with Cortland's reviews you will find a LOT less issues reported about garbage piling up (which happens, and lets be honest that usually comes down to certain residents at times), mosquitoes or any pests of that nature, noise, inability to use amenities, and just disgruntled residents overall. For the price and the deal I got, I am beyond pleased with the work that Cait, specifically, put in to helping me lease a unit. & let me point this out, it wasn't just any unit but the unit of my choice. From the moment I walked into the office for my scheduled tour I already felt like I was making the right decision. I moved here from San Diego and was able to do a virtual tour when I submitted my interest in a 1 bedroom. I love the community! It's so clean, upscale, and well kept. The apartment looked brand new when I moved in. The pool is amazing and the complex has awesome amenities. There's several food places and stores all within a half mile radius. I'm so happy I picked this location. I've only been here 2 weeks but I love it already. The staff is so kind and welcoming, Kevin was so helpful through out the whole process. It was so easy to apply, upload documents, and make payments all from the app. I love that they're paperless!

Everyone knows that moving can be stressful. I’m the kind of person that needs every little thing planned out and details ironed. So when we started shopping around for an apartment, I found myself becoming more and more frustrated and anxious trying to crunch numbers and figure out details so that we could make the best decision for our family. That’s when we met Cait. She was so friendly and informative and eased my nerves with her sweet personality, as well-as her patience in answering my millions of questions. It has been a year since I moved here. In that time I find my apartment to be a well appointed (AC/Heating, modern appliances and well maintained) unit. My unit is modern and welcoming. The neighborhood remains comfortable. A shout out to the office and maintenance staff! For me both entities always respond in a timely manner with any requested service. Courtland has/continues to provide me with a cost efficient/comfortable/responsive apartment in a good neighborhood and I am glad to live here.

The front office has always listened to all our comments and concerns. If something is not working, they send in maintenance, within your availability, and in a timely manner. They even provide light bulbs!! The amenities are basic compared to some high end places. But what they have is taken care of and high end items. We’ve been here almost 3 years. And we’ve got another year till our lease is up. Frankly couldn’t ask for a better place to rent! It truly feels like home!!

Cortland Mountain Vista has been a wonderful place for my family and I to call home. Just signed another lease and looking forward to great years ahead. The office staff have been super friendly and helpful, grounds well kept, safe area, nice neighbors, and professional and knowledgeable maintenance. Furthermore, our rental rate is comparable to nearby properties for the size and amenities. My only complaint is finding a parking spot sometimes! Lol. There are garages for an added fee, but its a little higher than I would like... All in all, top scores and highest rating from our family!

I have had the pleasure of living at Cortland Mountain View apartments for the past three years. The office staff members are professional and friendly. The Maintenance Supervisor, Davel, and his crew are efficient and extremely knowledgeable as to all areas of maintaining the units at Cortland. I am quite grateful to be living at Cortland.

I've only lived here a couple months now but so far I'm very impressed with everything. I appreciate the staff being so hands on and always letting us know what's going on. They seem very involved in the community and that's very refreshing to experience. My apartment itself is beautiful and well kept. Coming from a very outdated unit at my old apartment complex, I can actually feel proud of my living space now. I'm already recommending Cortland to many friends and Co workers! Maintenance team is very friendly and professional office Staff is very welcoming would not have renewed my lease for another 15 months if there was anything negative about this community Very safe very friendly environment. My husband and I along with our children have lived and enjoyed this community since 2022. From the upkeep of the property, rapid responses and the security/safety of our complex; it has made our tenure nothing less than wonderful. Our experience here has definitely made life comfortable while enjoying the modernization of our living spaces. The staff members are incredible; from Ashley Barlow (office) & DaVel O'neal (maintenance) both have gone above and beyond the call of duty to ensure all of our facility management and maintenance needs were met. This is an awesome place to live, its family friendly and the team will definitely make you feel valued.

I moved her about a year and a half ago, the modern appliances and layout is what caught my eye. After living here a year and a half, it’s even better than I first thought. They have many events and little things for the residents almost weekly. The pool is stunning and heated so perfect all year round. They keep the community well maintained and the gates make it super safe. This complex is definitely worth the price for all it has to offer and how well built each apartment is.

I moved in seven months ago.I liked it a lot then and still have the same impression today. My apartment is modern (rooms and appliances) well maintained and managed in a neighborhood that I like. I can’t say enough great things about Cortland Mountain Vista. This is a great place to live and I have called it home for over 4 years. The staff truly care about you and want you to enjoy living here. They do great things to show their appreciation for their residents. Whenever there has been an issue of any kind they have been quick to help resolve it. When renewing the staff has always been so helpful in helping make the process smooth and stress free. There is a reason I have stayed and renewed my lease. It truly is a wonderful place to live and the staff both in the office and their maintenance crew are kind, respectful and absolutely wonderful!

This morning I was invite to the event in the office breakfast 2 go it was put together amazingly beautiful. This place is always doing fun and exciting activities for the residents. Ashley, Keshia and Marina including maintenance Ty, Davel and Austin are always so helpful and cheerful. Had to submit my first maintenance request only a few days after moving in because my dryer & garbage disposal weren’t working. Shannon White came to the rescue! Normally, I don’t like having to have maintenance come, but Shannon was the exception. He not only fixed the disposal, but also showed me how to fix it if it stops working again. Then, he went above and beyond to fix my dryer. After being denied the request for a new one after discovering the issues with this one, he put in extra time and effort to fully fix my dryer. He even offered to take my trash out. I can’t say enough good things about Shannon. Thank you for being so thorough, kind, respectful and helpful. You are a valuable asset!!!

Cortland has been extremely thoughtful and very attentive to our needs. The entire maintenance team has been extraordinary, particularly Davel O’neal. He is always very thorough with our service requests and exhaust every possible option until a solution is found prior to closing out each task. Most recently Shannon White has displayed the same professionalism, work ethic and going out of his way to check on things that was not even requested in a preventative manner to avoid any possible issues. In addition, Ashley Barlow has been phenomenal in managing the negotiations of both of our leases, making the process as smooth as possible. This past weekend, I came home to my apartment around midnight from a work trip and my AC was down due to a failure in the google nest thermostat. I contacted emergency maintenance and they sent a service technician who arrived shortly after. Shannon White was the tech who came to help me and he did a very good job with assessing the AC damage, setting up a portable AC unit, and ensuring my room cooled down enough before leaving. He came back the next morning to clean and fix the AC unit and helped get it back to an operational state. He was professional, kind, helpful, and answered all of my questions. I am grateful for the maintenance team here at Cortland Mountain Vista and I rest easy knowing that if any issues come up, somebody will be able to help resolve the issue in a timely manner.

I viewed one apartment, but as she listened to what I what I wanted in my space she made a suggestion on another apartment. I fell in love with the space as soon as I walked in the door. I have only had this experience one other time in my life with a space I lived in. I have now moved in and I'm loving the property and the staff. Can't beat that!

I lived at Cortland Mountain Vista from January 2023-April 2023 in a Hello Landing apartment (short term rental) as I am a travel Nurse. It was the best experience. The grounds are kept very clean and the staff in the clubhouse are extremely friendly and helpful. Kysha was helpful and so friendly. I accidentally shipped a package to my old address at Mountain Vista and she was able to retrieve it for me without hesitation. I am so grateful for my time there and I hope to be back!

Me & my family have been residents for over a year now after a cross country move from FL. I was a little hesitant since some ppl say Mesa isn’t very safe but this is a very safe complex. Gates are always working and any safety concerns are taken seriously. The amenities are great and maintenance takes care of any issues/requests efficiently. The office staff is VERY helpful and friendly.. plus they plan a lot of events for the residents throughout the year. Nacho nights, breakfast in the morning, food trucks, & my families favorite.. KARAOKE night! It’s always a blast with a great turnout from the community. Me & my family are grateful for the experience this community has provided us!

Good but can be made better. Too many maintenance requests than anticipated. The trash policy is really a trash policy. The leasing office sent a notice to the residents saying they will be fined if the trash is left outside even if the dumpster is full. Is it not the responsiblity of the community to ensure the dumpster is not full or enough dumpsters are provided to ensure they are not full?

The living experience here for us is pretty good. Maintenance crew is great, office staff is friendly. However I sometimes feel that their hands are tied a bit by corporate management. The playground needs to be spruced up so that it is a safer place for the kids to play. The wood chips are so low around the swings and the jungle Jim that the landscaping material is exposed and weeds are growing. One swing has been missing for at least two years.The tables, grills and benches are in bad shape as well. A little attention to this area is needed. The gym is probably the best thing in the whole complex. It is always pretty clean. The rent here is high as well, but I guess it's high everywhere.

Nice community to life in. Love living here but the place need a Security Guard to resolve issues faster regarding drug smoking neighbors and noise. Maintenance Team is always helpful and very nice

I lived at this property for 2 years and every single day from the moment I looked at the apartment while apartment hunting, Cortland Mountain Vista had always felt like home. From the convenience of the location, down to the staff in the office. Quite neighborhood, never had any issues with neighbors, maintenance always stayed on top of things too.

I did not wind up moving here as the choice between here and another place was razor thin but I must say Sara who was helping me was awesome ! She followed up and even though I chose another place she was sincerely congratulatory. If you are considering this place ask for Sarah! :)

We have been with cortland for a little over a year at this point and as two freshly graduated teenagers getting our first apartment was huge and cortland absolutely made it so easy. Cortland is very affordable and offers such a luxurious experience we couldn’t have been more happy especially at times when we couldn’t work because of a car accident they were always willing to work with us!! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a place you can be proud to call your home.

I've been very happy with my place at Courtland Mountain, we have a big beautiful pool and their exercise facilities are always clean. I work odd hours and have never felt uncomfortable in my surroundings. Super helpful management, Marina S has been great at getting me answers and getting me settled in as I'm relatively new to the area.

My experience with the community and management team at Cortland Mountain Vista in East Mesa has been absolutely awesome! The community is well maintained and the front office from the Property Manager Ashley, to Assistant Property Manager Marina, to Sarah and everyone I've spoken to or dealt with has been top notch!! I have lived in 4 different apartment complexes in my time and this community is by FAR the absolute best! I am so appreciative of the assistance, the promptness, and the kindness I've been shown by all members of the team here. I lived here for a year and a half and had a good experience but didn't deal with the front office or anything much. Recently, I had a package shipped to my old apartment there and the front desk staff was awesome about getting back to me. Between my experience living there and this new experience, I would recommend this apartment.

Love here for 3 years and I love it!! Every unit it's been remodel with granite countertops, laminates floors, stainless steel appliances, black and white cabinets... Pool area looks and feel like a resorts with a hot spot and barbecue areas... Overall a really quiet and and clean place!! Check their website and everything u see is everything u get!!

I'm a new tenant here and while I currently can't give a full review, I can review thus far and it's amazing. Tiana and Connor in the front office have the most amazing customer service that I have ever seen. I was able to see my unit and fill out the paperwork with little to no hassle. Moving is always difficult, but they made my experience so amazing. I'm more relaxed than I have been in months and it's because of Tiana. Okay, I have been here over a year now and I still absolutely ADORE IT!! Sara has been fantastic and the front desk helps everyone who comes in. I never feel uncomfortable talking to them, the property is absolutely gorgeous, and I'm so happy I live here. I do with the gate would be able to be more functional, but I believe that's just impatient residents crashing into them instead of waiting their turn. It feels safe and secure and like the company truly cares. 5/5 for sure even after a year.

My husband and I were ready to move into these apartments after the tour we received from Destinee! We loved how clean and updated the complex and units are! We chose a 2 bed 2 bath and were moved in within a week. Destinee was awesome, she answered all my questions, walked me through everything pre and post move in! She was easy to communicate with and so kind to me! I feel at home here and the neighbors near me have been wonderful, best apartment complex we have ever been in!

I have found living here luxurious and convenient. I love all the extra amenities and also the community calendar events. Tiana in the office is always a huge help whenever I need help with anything and also comes up with a lot of creative events for our gated community. I'm happy to live here and wouldn't change a thing!
