I absolutely recommend this place! The facilities, including the gym, co-working space, and pool, are fantastic. What truly sets it apart, though, is the staff, especially Safi at the front desk. She was always so polite, cordial, attentive, and friendly, which made my entire stay much more relaxing and enjoyable.

The building is very nice, the common areas have recently been renovated, and it is incredibly convenient. The area is noisy, but they have good insulation. I can’t thank Dzastina Janusauskaite enough for making my move such a smooth and easy experience. From the first time I toured, she went above and beyond to ensure Cortland was the right place for me. She welcomed me warmly, let me tour the building multiple times, and patiently answered every single question (no matter how silly or small). Dzastina was incredibly personable, friendly, and truly made me feel at home. The building itself is beautiful and perfectly located in Midtown, everything you need is within walking distance, yet it’s tucked away just enough to avoid the noise and traffic. It’s the ideal balance of convenience and calm. Thanks to Dzastina, I felt confident and excited about my move, and I’m so happy to be part of this community.

Update: I had issues with the lights in my kitchen. Carlos and Ramon came in and went above and beyond to fix it. They replaced the entire light fixtures and spent a good hour perfecting it. I appreciate their help so much! The maintenance team is incredible here and are always willing to help. Thank you! Moved in recently and could not have asked for a better staff team. Leila in the leasing office has been super helpful; she has made the move-in process so simple for me. She answers all of my questions in a timely manner and goes above and beyond to help me with my concerns. I highly recommend talking to her about Cortland, if you are interested in living here. The place itself is very nice. I’ve enjoyed using the gym and the pool. The hallways are kept clean. There are a lot of dogs in the building but haven’t had any issues with the noise. The elevators sometimes take a while. Overall, it’s a great place so if you are looking to move to Midtown, definitely check out Cortland!

Moving in general can be incredibly stressful, anxiety-inducing, and unpleasant if you’re dealing with someone who doesn’t know what they are doing. From the second we met, Leila was incredibly sweet, helpful, knowledgeable, realistic, and understanding. She took her time to listen to my needs and budget, and offered me all options available. During the tour, she went above and beyond getting to know me better and explaining all the features Cortland has to offer - which are many! We moved into Cortland about a month ago, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the start, Dzastina made us feel welcomed with a thorough and friendly tour, followed by clear and consistent communication about available units. Moving day was seamless, thanks to the team’s organization and support, and their continued helpfulness since then has been outstanding. Having lived in several apartment complexes, I can confidently say that a great management team makes all the difference—not just in how tenants are treated but also in the overall upkeep of the property. The Cortland team excels in every way. The building is clean, the staff is attentive, and the sense of community here is great. As dog owners, we also love how dog-friendly the complex is, with a welcoming environment for our furry friends. I’m so glad we chose Cortland and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to call home in Midtown.

Safe neighborhood ,dog friendly and great location . also the building has very beautiful and modern apartments especially with the new upgrades thanks to the new management team. Very friendly front desk staff too , Latoya she s absolutely fantastic , they will always help you with anything that you need . Love the housekeeping especially Leo. they are doing an amazing job keeping the place always clean&fresh . Engineers are always there when you need them and very efficient too . The only thing that i m not very happy about it is that the pool is been under construction since I moved in and things are always moving extremely slowly . Wish I could’ve enjoy a little bit more the amenities of the place. Overall is a great place to live . Totally recommend it.

I’ve lived in this building since 2019 and have seen various management companies come and go. I’m pleased to say that Cortland is finally making meaningful improvements, such as installing new closets and fixtures in the apartments and properly maintaining the pool. The new management here is really great. They’re always putting together fun activities, and it feels like there’s more of a community now. The last one I joined was a dog photo shoot—they hired a photographer to take pictures of our pets, which was super nice because there are so many dogs in the building. They’re also fixing up the pool and making some nice updates around the place. I’d also like to commend the maintenance team, who have been here for many years. They are consistently helpful, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Thank you.
