I love the team and the building, but it’s frustrating that the pool has been closed since October. Given what we pay, it’s disappointing not to have access to this amenity. Update: It is open now, and it was worth the wait!

Let me tell you about the absolute best experience I’ve ever had touring rental communities - right here at Cortland with Leila and Maria! Moving in general can be incredibly stressful, anxiety-inducing, and unpleasant if you’re dealing with someone who doesn’t know what they are doing. From the second we met, Leila was incredibly sweet, helpful, knowledgeable, realistic, and understanding. She took her time to listen to my needs and budget, and offered me all options available. During the tour, she went above and beyond getting to know me better and explaining all the features Cortland has to offer - which are many! The nearby Trader Joe’s, countless restaurants and retail stores, and pet-focused environment were big selling points for me - everything you need is located just a few steps away. We moved into Cortland about a month ago, and the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. From the start, Dzastina made us feel welcomed with a thorough and friendly tour, followed by clear and consistent communication about available units. Moving day was seamless, thanks to the team’s organization and support, and their continued helpfulness since then has been outstanding. Having lived in several apartment complexes, I can confidently say that a great management team makes all the difference—not just in how tenants are treated but also in the overall upkeep of the property. The Cortland team excels in every way. The building is clean, the staff is attentive, and the sense of community here is great. As dog owners, we also love how dog-friendly the complex is, with a welcoming environment for our furry friends. I’m so glad we chose Cortland and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to call home in Midtown.

Safe neighborhood ,dog friendly and great location . also the building has very beautiful and modern apartments especially with the new upgrades thanks to the new management team. Very friendly front desk staff too , Latoya she s absolutely fantastic , they will always help you with anything that you need . Love the housekeeping especially Leo. they are doing an amazing job keeping the place always clean&fresh . Engineers are always there when you need them and very efficient too . The only thing that i m not very happy about it is that the pool is been under construction since I moved in and things are always moving extremely slowly . Wish I could’ve enjoy a little bit more the amenities of the place. Overall is a great place to live . Totally recommend it.

I’ve lived in this building since 2019 and have seen various management companies come and go. I’m pleased to say that Cortland is finally making meaningful improvements, such as installing new closets and fixtures in the apartments and properly maintaining the pool. The new management here is really great. They’re always putting together fun activities, and it feels like there’s more of a community now. The last one I joined was a dog photo shoot—they hired a photographer to take pictures of our pets, which was super nice because there are so many dogs in the building. They’re also fixing up the pool and making some nice updates around the place. I’d also like to commend the maintenance team, who have been here for many years. They are consistently helpful, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Thank you.
