I lived at Cortland MacArthur for 13 months. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Maintenance workers were prompt, friendly, and skilled at resolving any issues. The community is friendly, quiet, and respectful--great for families. The office staff (Gabby, De-Andre, Kayla) were very helpful and welcoming. Gym, pool, and office center were always clean, stocked, and ready for use. The only con was valet trash--we wish the service (and additional charge) was optional.

I moved into Cortland MacArthur a few weeks ago, and I have to say the entire experience has been fantastic! A huge thank you to De-Andre, my leasing agent, for making the process so smooth and seamless. He was incredibly attentive, answered all my questions (not to mention easy to get a hold of), and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of both during the application process and on move in day. I also want to shout out Leo, the maintenance man, who has been so friendly and helpful. Any time I’ve a request or needed assistance, he’s been quick to respond and make sure everything was handled. CM is also pet friendly, and the dog park is turf which I’m an huge fan of so my pup isn’t getting dirty! I arrived to a well kept and clean apartment with everything in order. So far I haven’t met any neighbors but they seem to be very considerate as I hardly ever hear them from my apartment. Overall, I'm really happy with my new place and the amazing staff here. Highly recommend!

I recently moved to this community. Management is really nice. Mo is aways friendly and welcoming, he solves any issues almost instantly. I came in on a Friday desperate to find a place that i liked that I could move in quickly. I walked in and met De-Andre and told him everything I needed and how quickly I needed to move in. I did the property tour, he showed me the available unit and gave me all the information to get my application done. I was able to move in on the date I asked for and I love my new apartment. I have been living at Cortland MacArthur for about 9 months, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. From the very beginning, the tour was smooth and the leasing consultant, Gabby Slocumb, was incredibly informative and helpful, making the decision to move here an easy one. The moving process was also super easy, with access to my apartment and any questions I had were promptly and professionally addressed. Gabby has been a fantastic resource throughout my time here. When I got a dog, and unfortunately passing away within a short period of time, the management team was not only understanding but also caring and helpful, making a tough time a little easier to bear. The maintenance staff has also been prompt, fixing any issues within 24-48 hours, unless a vendor was required, which took about a week - a reasonable timeframe if you ask me. The only downside I've encountered is that the gates occasionally stay open or don't operate correct, but this hasn't significantly impacted my overall satisfactio

I shifted from a apartment community nearby as this place came with great recommendations. First our good friend moved here, then my husband and I moved here, then we recommended this place to another of our friends. The management is super responsive and makes your needs their priority. The place is pet friendly too. We made great connections with our neighbors, and know people who have lived here for 5-10 years! Overall great experience! The only reason I am giving 4 star is the lack of visitor parking, one of our guests got their cars towed even after getting registered, twice in a span of just 3 months, just because they couldn’t find a spot on visitor and had to park at an open spot. Another drawback is the entrance/exit gate which keeps faltering and getting repaired. In the more than a year tenure of my stay here, I didn’t see a complete week when the gate worked consistently. I’ve been living here since 4-23 and recently signed a new lease. Wouldn’t have renewed if I weren’t happy. This place is quiet, clean and respectable. The staff are quick to address issues that arise, but I’ve only had two in 16 months…minor at that. Professional staff, always willing to accommodate their residents. I’ll not be moving until I retire and move back north. I appreciate the opportunity to be part of this community.

Cortland uptown Boca is an upscale rental. It feels like we are at a fine resort. The pool is absolutely amazing! The grounds are impeccably clean. After living here for a year, my wife and I decided to move units. Melanie and Leo helped us through the process and worked with us to make sure that the move fit well with our schedules. They also communicated to the manager on our behalf whenever we would hit a snag that needed clarification. By the time move-in day came about, we felt well-equipped by the staff, and the transition was painless. There were a couple of instances in the process where my wife and I were told different things by different people, but it seemed more the result of developing communication chains, not the result of shifty business. I want to stress this: Even if questions or confusions have arisen, we have NEVER felt like we were being taken advantage of here, and for that we’re thankful. I can definitely see myself moving into these apartments. My kind of style and my vibe. You know as a tenant , it’s important that iGet along with the staff. When iTell you Alvin was nothing short of amazing, he’s phenomenal. It’s obviously hot outside right now, I didn’t even have to ask, he immediately brought me a bottle of water. Even if iDint like the apartments (which iDo) I’d move here just for the customer service that Alvin provided. He needs a raise honestly, because it’s the little things that really captivates a customer like myself.

Dantiel and Shelby were super helpful and accommodating during the move in/out process. The location of this apartment is ideal - there is a local masjid within walking distance! The gym amenities are great as well.

I have lived here for 15 months from 2022 to early 2023. Pros: Prime Location, Amazing Maintenance, functional floor plans, not seen any bugs and a spacious gym. Always got quick responses from manager Danteil, Leo and Dom and were friendly in communication. Cons: Worst Insulation ( for a one bed, the monthly consumption was ridiculously high, upon multiple calls with TDU, electricity provider and house inspection, It seems there are lot of leaks and a very bad insulation ) Cortland tried to fix those leaks but they are just too many and didn’t tried to fix the insulation part and wasted a lot of my money on bills.

One of the better places in the area primarily due to the location. Right off the highway and there's tons of shops nearby. The staff is nice and very helpful. I wish they would update the flooring here, as most homes have carpet. But other than that it's great.

The staff (Ms Melanie) was super helpful with all of the questions I had. Im looking to move early next year and i Narrowed down my search to this community and another one. The community was beautiful and clean but the customer service here was ultimately what sold me. Im so excited to move somewhere that values resident experiences. If you’re looking to relocate to Irving, this place should definitely be on the top of your list.

One of the leasing girls I believe her name was Jennifer she was one of the sweetest to heart girls who helped me out today to get information about leasing and hopefully moving in one day the property is so beautiful I recommend !!

This location is probably the best part about this place. Across the high way has loads of shops, grocery stores and stuff. The office staff is also very helpful. I’d for sure recommend

I have to say the maintenance team here really is top notch. Every time I have an issue I just submit a request and it’s taken care of almost immediately. The office staff is super friendly too. I’d rate this place a 10/10 from customer service alone

I decided to stop in and tour this community because of the access directly to the highway and proximity to my job. I didn’t lease due to availability, but I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a home! Team is very helpful!

It is almost 2 years of living in this apartment. Staffs are nice and very helpful! I feel safe to live here and I do not worry about safety at night when I walk by myself. Parking always has been issue. If you did not get a parking carport, yup. That would be very stressful time to find a spot every day. So I purchased carport which I pay $45 dollars/ month. It is pricy but it is worth it. So far, my experience has been pretty good. I got this apartment during covid time (2020) so the price was on sale, but now I started paying almost 400 dollars more from last year. If they increase rent again for my next renewal.... I probably have to move out :( And please please, When you invite your friends over, make sure register their car for parking registration. It will expire within 24 hours. Towing people don't play around. They are super punctual on time so watch out your time ( my boyfriend's car got towed one time and it was NOT PLEASANT AT ALL) Overall, if you don't have a problem with parking spots issue, I

I lived in this community for 15 months. I'd like to highlight that the current Leasing Mgr, Julia as true assest to this property! The downs for me was the parking changes while I was there and 3 of my guests were towed. Also my unit had a lot of pipe issues, there are neighbors walking in the drive routes at night, and lack of gate codes updates. The ups was the unit style, community location, and service team coming to fix things as needed.
