I have traveled and moved alot for my job. I can honestly say that Cortland is HOME! I came from another state, so I needed great communication with the front office. Jessica was the one who assisted me from my showing to my move-in and made it as easy as possible. Safety, beauty, green space, and an awesome community were top of my list. The grounds are so very well maintained. My apt is just stunning. I love the convenience and amenities. This is not a brand new development. It is a bit older with older bigger trees, and built with space to move around. It is quiet, and smoke-free! I really value the location and security I feel here. I had some move-in things that needed to be looked at. The maintenance team were there right after I requested and fixed everything professionally and kindly. I can't say enough about this new home and the staff. Feels like home! Well Done Cortland Lex.

I have been a resident of The Lex since 2013. The development in the Milton, Crabapple, Alpharetta area has taken off during that time, but the apartment location is perfect. Along with the amenities offered in the apartment community, I am within a 3-mile radius of prime shopping at The Avalon and North Point Mall. Wills Park is one mile away as is Main Street in Alpharetta which has a huge restaurant venue. Access to GA 400 is also very easy. The staff at The Lex is without a doubt the best. They are always courteous and very responsive. Likewise, the maintenance staff is above reproach. They are very professional and address issues within 24 hours. The community is quiet with lots of trees and awesome landscaping. It is always a pleasure to come home.

I have been at Cortland Lex for over 3 years and it is a wonderful place to live. The staff is exceptional; always doing everything to make our stay here great. Another thing that is so unique is; if you need service to your apartment, once you send in your service request it will be taken care of that day. The property is so beautiful, with lots of trees and grass. The drive up the hill to the apartments is a canopy of trees and is beautifully maintained. All the amenities are state of the art, from a lovely pool to the exercise room and so much more; all in perfect order and clean. I highly recommend Cortland Lex to anyone who wants a carefree way of living.

The maintenance men here are the loveliest gentlemen. I was visiting my mother when my pet went missing and they dropped everything to help me look for her. She was in the apartment the whole time under the bed in a deep sleep so didn’t hear me when I called for her. I’m so grateful to these men for helping me and giving me comfort in my time of distress!! Honestly the kindest people and not just for today they were at the pool the other day replacing the umbrellas and just such polite joyful beautiful people. Thank you!!!! I’m incredibly grateful!

The staff has been great. Specifically, Jessica. She has been willing to answer my questions and look into all concerns in a timely fashion. Maintenance crew has been great as well. But all my interactions with the staff have been great. The units need upgrades. I donâ€™t feel the rent matches the value of the unit.

This is the first apartment complex that I lived in and I love so much!! I really enjoy living here from the outstanding pest control to the outstanding maintenance team, management and outstanding school system, I really love it here!! The management team led by Chris offers excellent customer service. We had some troubles with our move in but Chris and the team took care of things honorablely and with fairness, which I think can be really hard to find. It's not a new apartment complex obliviously, but the five stars are for the fact that I know if I have any challenges with the apartment or if me and my family can be any more comfortable, the lex team will do what they can to make that happen. With having a young family, that type of piece of mind makes a big difference. Additional points: -Sound does travel easily as some of the other reviews indicate, and I know the neighbors above me are not being loud they are just living regularly. Since we have kids we took a ground floor unit. -cobb/spider webs are present quite throughout so that takes some getting used to. -maintenance team is reliable -every month or so the management team does some type of fun activity or food giveaway, it is always a pleasant experience running into any of them

UPDATE 11/21/2023- This month makes 1 year living here. Although I renewed my lease, there are structural issues at this property that you would not be aware of until you've lived here for a while. There is always a functioning issue with the gate to allow your guests access. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear every word your neighbor says when having a normal conversation. My neighbors garage door is directly underneath my bedroom and its very loud & shakes the floor when its opened/closed. Electricity goes out and back on multiple times when it rains, or sometimes randomly. The grounds are not as well kept as I thought- it hasn't been pressure washed since I've lived here and there are always cobb webs everywhere- car port/parking lot, patio, hallway, around your front door (my patio has very old greenish stains and dirt). Lastly, there has been an ongoing issue with a mildew smell coming from my bathroom sink (cold water), I've reported it multiple times, but the last time (11/16/2023) maintenan

We have lived in Cortland Lex for a year and a half. The contract signing process was very smooth. It is a silent place, full of green areas, where you feel safe. The staff is very friendly. And any demand (opened on the Cortland website) is quickly met (light bulb change or leak repair, for example). We really liked the condominium infrastructure (especially the swimming pool, gym, and car wash). So... in general we love living here. But, of course, we think Cortland could be a better place if: - The tennis courts were in better condition; - I miss having a basketball hoop to play with my son; - And I miss having a trash can in my building, or on the street (the bins are only located at the exit of the condominium).

I've been living at Cortland Lex since July 2022, and I really enjoy it. The apartments are well-maintained and get renovated for each new resident. Maintenance is super fast and efficient. Whenever we need something, we just submit a service request through Cortland's platform, and the team takes care of it very quickly, usually within 24 hours. The management team is also always helpful in addressing any billing or lease-related inquiries. There are always interesting events organized by the staff where you can get to know your neighbors better. The common areas are nice and well-maintained. I would say the only downside here is that you can't leave your trash on the street in front of your apartment. You have to put the trash in your car and take it to the dumpster past the gate.

Having a full size laundry room is a big plus! It’s dog friendly but the grounds stay clean plus the dog park is centrally located. Plenty of parking. So far this community gets 5 stars in my book!

I was locked out of my garage yesterday morning about 11-1130 as I had misplaced my remote control and the courtesy lock was engaged on my front door. I was panicked as I had my baby grandson abs had to get inside. I called maintenance and they sent someone (I forgot his name now!) who came within 10 minutes!! He was so nice and polite and got to working on opening the garage door! He even showed me what to do if the garage door wouldn’t open automatically and how to open it manually! He was so kind and patient! Thank you SO much!!!

This is my 1st time renting after owning homes for 30 years, and I thought I would just be here for one year. However, I've already signed up for year 2! I may never leave. :) The property is gorgeous and beautifully maintained with wooded landscapes, sidewalks and flowering foliage. It is always clean and ceased cared for. The communty residents I've met are very nice and respecful of people and property. My townhouse apartment is incredibly spacious, quiet and beautifully done. The leasing agents are so responsive and kind, and the support staff and maintenance crew are quick to solve any issues. The complex comes with everything you could need including a package hub (very convenient!), gym, pool, tennis courts, playground, grills, and free yoga on Saturdays! I feel very valued as a resident thanks to Jessica, Gary, Cand could not imagine a better place to live.

We loved our apartment and enjoyed the surrounding trees and landscaping. The complex's proximity to downtown Alpharetta is also a plus! AMAZING PROPERTY! I've been living at this property 3 months and everything has been smooth sailing from day one (my tour). This property was the only community that had everything I was looking for. The leasing office staff is AMAZING- Jessica, Gary, Bridget and anyone else I've communicated with have all been so helpful and nice. Maintenance is excellent, usually getting things addressed same day. The property is quiet and located off a side street, yet easy access to shopping and food. The convenience of the Amazon Package Hub on site is a perk! The dog park is super cute and they have plenty of doggy bag stations throughout the property (great walks for your furry friends). The entire property is well maintained. The gym is so good, I was able to cancel my membership.😄 The trash compactor has never been broken nor overflowing with trash. I absolutely LOVE this property, easily best I've rented thus far.

The amenities inside the apartments are all in working order and they do a great job at maintaining them. I love my overall apartment and the space. Cortland Lex has been the best leasing experience I have ever had thanks to Gary Hill. After my initial tour, Gary was kind enough to take me on another tour so that my kids could see the property. They loved the ride on the golf cart :) Anytime I've emailed with questions, he’s responded immediately and has called or emailed me with any updates about my apartment along the way. On the tours we went on, I noticed him greeting the residents we saw by name. It’s clear that he really cares about and has taken the time to get to know the residents in this community. The community itself is beautiful with a lot of green space, and it appears to be very well maintained. The apartments are very nice, and the unit I am leasing has an attached garage. There’s a playground area for the kids, and the property is less than a mile from Wills Park. The location seems ideal as it’s very close to both downtown Milton and Alpharetta. I’m very excited to be moving in in a couple of weeks and will add to my review once I’ve set

The outside environment is beautiful, with incredible trees, well cared for lawns, flowers, shrubs, and tended to streets and sidewalks. Pretty much the best you can expect for apartment complex living. Quiet all around with few disruptions. Cortland Lex is mostly filled with professionals, and responsible adults. The walk into downtown Alpharetta was an easy mile walk. Service staff are excellent, incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and quick to respond. Cannot give them enough praise! They stay very busy, but never saw them without a smile or a kind word — and never had a complaint with them or heard one from anyone else. Management and front office are a similar experience: quick to communicate and address any issues. Never felt like the community was caught by surprise or in the dark on any work, news, or rare concern. There are community events I heard were fun, but never had the chance to really take advantage of them. it should be noted that the complex is completely non-smoking and enforced — which is greatly appreciated. Cortland Lex is beautiful! It’s next to great schools, lots of fun coffee shops, restaurants, and areas that are lively and wonderful to walk in, plus it’s central to everything. However, this place shines because of its team more than anything else. Chris, Garry, Bridget, and Anthony all went above and beyond multiple times in what I would call outside of their scope of work to make our welcome and stay here very welcoming and happy. This place has been nothing but amazing since day one. The apartments are nice, location is ideal and grounds are well kept. Everyone in the leasing office is nice but Gary Hill goes above and beyond. He has consistently helped us way more than anyone needs to or has to as far what the job entails. Our mom lives here on her own and he is so responsive, helps answer questions, and manages to make us feel like she is in good hands. We needed hand rails installed in her shower - he helped us get that done without issue. When I reach out, he responds quickly and is always so friendly and happy to help. He really makes us feel like she is at home. I’m grateful for a neighborhood like this and glad she has some like him to call on when we aren’t available.

I do have to say the thing that makes it for us is Gary Hill in the leasing office. He has consistently gone above and beyond for us. Our mom lives here on her own and he is so responsive, helps answer questions, and manages to make us feel like she is in good hands. We needed hand rails installed in her shower - he helped us get that done without issue. When I reach out, he responds quickly and is always so friendly and happy to help. I’m grateful for a neighborhood like this and glad she has it to call home.

I was initially interested in this complex in 2020 but due to personal complications and timing, I unfortunately had to elect a different apartment complex. However, Jessica made sure to keep me updated about upcoming units and prices during the year I resided at a different complex. Finally, I moved in to Cortland Lex the following year in 2021 with the enormous help of Jessica! She made the entire process super simple and quick. The only I wish is that I moved in sooner! This complex is clean, quiet and conveniently located near downtown Alpharetta as well as popular shopping markets such as Costco, Target, Walmart, etc. If everything works out, I hope to renew for a following year!!!

After living In multiple apartments throughout my life, I have finally found a complex that feels like home. I have lived here since 2019 and continue to love the location, community, staff, and prompt maintenance. 10/10 recommended. Also, you can WALK to downtown Alpharetta!! David, Drew, Jessica, and Gary are each kind and helpful it’s not just one staff member that you have to latch onto because they are the only helpful ones, no, everyone you meet cares and is consistent.

As a former commercial real estate professional, I have a very discerning eye for good property management and I can confidently say the team at Cortland Lex is absolutely fantastic. I have lived here for about a year and a half. The staff (Jessica, Gary, and the maintenance team) are incredibly kind, responsive and professional. The common areas are properly maintained, with the most recent capital projects being light fixture upgrades and a new mail room. I cannot rate this apartment complex highly enough. From its convenient location, wonderful school district (Alpharetta Elementary School), and awesome management team, this is a true gem.

An apartment is an apartment, but most people are looking for "Home". The Lex is made up of people who truly care about creating that sense of Home. This is what I have found through all the caring and wonderful people on the office staff and the hard working and kind maintenance men who are so willing to help with any problem that arises. The trees and landscape make it a lovely place to live and take walks... I highly recommend the Lex and all it has to offer.

I have lived at Cortland Lex since December 2003! Yes-almost 19 years!! I absolutely love loving here. The staff and maintenance department are so friendly and responsive. Great APT complex. Moved in with a friend and a puppy - neighbors are all welcome and friendly throughout the complex. Why I LOVED living here - community is intentional from the staff. You can be as private or chatty as you want. We met all of our neighbors and enjoy it, but not all buildings do that. The pool is family friendly, but also has a section where “adults” enjoy a day off work with friends and music 🎵. Why I liked living here - I had an issue with a car-break in and the complex staff was communicative and helpful throughout the insurance process and what not. Fun gems of the community - free community book drop, daytime pool access (WFH friends), school bus stop (families), 4 minute drive to downtown Alpharetta, 8 minute drive from gym, 2 closest gas stations are family owned and love to chat, Outdoor car washing station (I think).

Cortland Lex has been my home for almost 2 years. I have lived in many apartment communities over the years, and the staff here has been by far the kindest and most genuine management team I have ever met. It is rare to find an apartment complex with such a strong leasing staff and maintenance team. The community itself is very peaceful and homey, and I have wonderful neighbors that always stop to chat. The location is also unbeatable! We are within walking distance from both downtown Alpharetta and Wills Park, but far enough away to have a quiet atmosphere. I highly recommend Cortland Lex!

From day one, I’ve had a good relationship with the staff, especially Jessica! I have always had support from them and my maintenance requests are usually completed within 24 hours. I love my 2 bedroom apartment. The community is quiet for the most part and well-kept. I don’t plan to move out until I buy a house. I’ve lived her for almost 2 years.

From the office and leasing staff to maintenance, you couldn't ask for a more professional and quick response to our needs. Cortland Lex is maintained beautifully. The grounds are kept pristine. Cortland Lex is hands down THE best community I have lived in in the 15 years that I have lived in apartments. I have lived in multiple states and cities and finally I have my home away from home. I have lived here for 3 years so this perspective comes with longevity and many experiences with management, the leasing agents, and maintenance. I can say that consistently they are kind, productive, and actually care about the members of this community. My A/C went out a couple of weekends ago, and maintenance came out after hours swiftly to make sure that I wasn't stuck in the Ga heat. David (manager), Drew (assistant manager), Jessica (leasing agent), and Gary (leasing agent) all have treated me like family and I am so grateful! I HIGHLY recommend making cortland lex your home!

I can say that the management here is the most professional, kind, and resourceful management I’ve ever worked with. Everyone is equally amazing. They all stand out as far as customer service. Cortland Lex is an overall great community. Great for families and the inside of the homes are very nice. The outside is clean and landscaping is well-kept. I give this five stars because of four key values. First, the Lex is conveniently located near downtown Alpharetta. One can enjoy walking downtown to enjoy the local eateries, shoppes, and scenery. Second, the staff is friendly, accommodating and resourceful. I was very pleased with the prompt maintenance service. Third, it is a family oriented community with events for all throughout the year. And last but not least, the variety of floor plans are spacious with updated features. I definitely recommend for short or longtime stays!
