Has been a great place to live for a few years now, amenities are pretty great, and the handymen have been very responsive and helpful, particularly Phillip, who's gone the extra mile on several calls. The one major downside to report is the fire alarms a lot of people point out in their reviews. As far as I know, it's not exactly that the alarms trip for no reason, but I think it's a pipe burst issue and happens at least once or twice a year during winter. Not that it excuses it frankly, specially on the couple snowy winters we've had in recent years when I've had to stand outside in the freezing cold for very lengthy amounts of time.

I came to the apartments and was greeted by Jose Gaona. He was so kind and showed me the pool area, and the cool hangout area with various games and seating. Everything was clean and the staff was very polite!

Cortland Legacy is in such an amazing location! You’re nearby main service roads/highways, plus a coffee shop in walking distance. I did my tour with Sam, the assistant manager, and she was nothing short of wonderful!! She thoroughly listened to what I was looking for, in a short move in time frame. All around amazing!! I can’t wait to continue to recommend this location and staff.

Overall, for comfort of living, responsive staff/maintenance, and apartment design and feel, I give Cortland Legacy a solid A rating. Trash room is a little disorganized at times but that's more a resident practice than management. We greatly enjoyed our time living here and found the apartment sizeable, clean, and a perfect fit for our needs. The only word of caution I can offer, just as with an apartment lease, is to be fully aware of the contract language and any early termination fees. We unfortunately ended up having to break our lease three months early as we had an opportunity to buy a house. All in all, it cost us about $13,000 to fully get out of our lease (two months of rent, early termination fee, and then a bill after we moved out asking for "upfront concession" payback). When we moved in, we were given 6 weeks at a free/discounted rate, so when we early terminated, we got charged back that amount. While all of this IS in the contract, plan accordingly if you think you may need to leave this comm

I’ve been living here for a year now. I have no complaints. The property is clean, very secure and really quiet. The apartments are nice and spacious. It is so peaceful and safe compared to other complexes in the area. The maintenance staff is awesome. You put in a work request and they come same day and fix the problem quickly. They’re very professional. The office staff respond quickly and handle issues in the same day. The location is amazing. There’s everything very close.

Stayed here for about 1.5 years and had a great experience overall. The apartments are well-sized, and the rent is fair for this area. The location is excellent — quick access to both SRT and DNT, and all major stores and restaurants are within a 5–10 minute drive. (If you don’t drive, though, skip this one — not a single convenience store is walkable from here unless you consider a fitness challenge “convenience.”) The staff and maintenance crew are genuinely great — responsive, polite, and they actually fix things. The garage and exit doors work as advertised (occasional breakdowns, sure, but nothing outrageous), which says a lot if you’ve lived in other complexes where that’s basically folklore. Now for my arch-nemesis: AT&T reception. I moved units twice, performed every tech ritual short of sacrificing a router, and still — zero bars. Verizon and T-Mobile users, you’re safe. AT&T folks… may the odds be ever in your favor. Another mild frustration: the mandatory community internet plan. I had my own AT&T

I moved in a week ago and could not be happier with the management team and maintenance staff. Jake in the office was incredibly helpful and accommodating with all of my requests during the move-in process. Marney from maintenance was also fantastic, very polite and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Excellent experience so far!

I lived here for a little over a year and only moved out last month because I moved to a new area. Maintenance was responsive and front desk employees were always helpful. If I did not have to move I would have resigned.

I lived here for 3 years. I'm in a 2BR apartment. Good: - big spacious apartments - huge kitchen - bathrooms have 2 sinks and plenty of counter space - balcony available - big parking garage for residents - lots of visitor parking downstairs (not in garage) - service requests are taken care of very fast and efficiently. Bad: - I can hear my upstairs neighbors footsteps. I'm on the 3rd floor. They have a baby. I hear running sometimes and it's very loud and disruptive. I've had at least 3 different neighbors and 2 of them (both with babies) I could hear everything. I think it would be fine if they didn't have little kids running around. In addition to running, I could hear the babies cry too - sound insulation between the entrance door and hallway is bad. I can every conversation there. I put a door stopper there to help. - occasional fire alarms due to equipment - callbox doesn't always work

I have lived at the Cortland Legacy location since 2018. I really enjoy my community. The office and maintenance staff are really friendly and attend to issues quickly. I love my apartment layout and location. I miss all of our community activities they have been cancelled due to Covid 19. I will be glad when we can all come together again! 2023 Update: I am still a resident at Cortland Legacy Frisco and the current management staff is amazing. I always feel comfortable going to them with any problems or concerns because I know they will be addressed quickly. The outside grounds are very nice and there is a great sense of community here. The community activities have resumed and I have a great time coming together with the staff and neighbors!! 2024 Update: Living at Cortland has been a great experience. I've moved from a small one bedroom to one of the 1700 sq ft townhouses and I absolutely love it. One of the previous assistant property managers is back as the property manager now and Aaron is just as amazi

Very well behaved neighbors and I feel like I was in a very secure place. When my husband is in office I will go pool or club house and chill with my baby. We also used a lot of potlucks in our community and neighbor gathering. Previously I was in other communities i doesn’t feel more secure than any other. ‘’Jimmy’’ from leasing consultant he has guided and explained everything about the community. It’s a good place to stay for new residents.

Jimmy is awesome all the time. I’ve been living at Cortland Legacy for the past two years, and overall, it’s been a positive experience. The location is fantastic, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The management team is very responsive; they always address maintenance requests promptly. For instance, when my air filter was dirty this summer, they had it fixed within an hour. I already referred friends to the Cortland Legacy apartment. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and well-managed place to live.

The CORTLAND Legacy Apartments are great in every way. I recently signed a lease, and am looking forward to being a CORTLAND Legacy resident soon. Julio V is the Leasing Staff representative that I primarily worked with, and he is excellent…professional, knowledgeable, and truly kind. Julio, and the other Office Staff members I met were all very friendly, and welcoming. I highly recommend the Cortland Legacy Apartments.
