I’ve been living here for a year now. I have no complaints. The property is clean, very secure and really quiet. The apartments are nice and spacious. It is so peaceful and safe compared to other complexes in the area. The maintenance staff is awesome. You put in a work request and they come same day and fix the problem quickly. They’re very professional. The office staff respond quickly and handle issues in the same day. The location is amazing. There’s everything very close.

Stayed here for about 1.5 years and had a great experience overall. The apartments are well-sized, and the rent is fair for this area. The location is excellent — quick access to both SRT and DNT, and all major stores and restaurants are within a 5–10 minute drive. (If you don’t drive, though, skip this one — not a single convenience store is walkable from here unless you consider a fitness challenge “convenience.”) The staff and maintenance crew are genuinely great — responsive, polite, and they actually fix things. The garage and exit doors work as advertised (occasional breakdowns, sure, but nothing outrageous), which says a lot if you’ve lived in other complexes where that’s basically folklore. Now for my arch-nemesis: AT&T reception. I moved units twice, performed every tech ritual short of sacrificing a router, and still — zero bars. Verizon and T-Mobile users, you’re safe. AT&T folks… may the odds be ever in your favor. Another mild frustration: the mandatory community internet plan. I had my own AT&T

I moved in a week ago and could not be happier with the management team and maintenance staff. Jake in the office was incredibly helpful and accommodating with all of my requests during the move-in process. Marney from maintenance was also fantastic, very polite and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Excellent experience so far!

I enjoy the community! There was some construction a couple weeks ago that made the fire alarm go off twice and was super messy. Would’ve liked an email prior. My apartment was the most clean when I moved in, but overall I like it here!

Good: - big spacious apartments - huge kitchen - bathrooms have 2 sinks and plenty of counter space - balcony available - big parking garage for residents - lots of visitor parking downstairs (not in garage) - service requests are taken care of very fast and efficiently. Bad: - I can hear my upstairs neighbors footsteps. I'm on the 3rd floor. They have a baby. I hear running sometimes and it's very loud and disruptive. I've had at least 3 different neighbors and 2 of them (both with babies) I could hear everything. I think it would be fine if they didn't have little kids running around. In addition to running, I could hear the babies cry too - sound insulation between the entrance door and hallway is bad. I can every conversation there. I put a door stopper there to help. - occasional fire alarms due to equipment - callbox doesn't always work

Overall it is a nice apartment. The free parking garage is a big plus. It is close to everything and convenient to the airport. Jimmy did a fantastic job for our onboarding. I have no real complaints but think that the hallways need to be cleaned more often and it would be nice if the hallway floors were painted brighter.

I have lived at the Cortland Legacy location since 2018. I really enjoy my community. The office and maintenance staff are really friendly and attend to issues quickly. I love my apartment layout and location. I miss all of our community activities they have been cancelled due to Covid 19. I will be glad when we can all come together again! 2023 Update: I am still a resident at Cortland Legacy Frisco and the current management staff is amazing. I always feel comfortable going to them with any problems or concerns because I know they will be addressed quickly. The outside grounds are very nice and there is a great sense of community here. The community activities have resumed and I have a great time coming together with the staff and neighbors!! 2024 Update: Living at Cortland has been a great experience. I've moved from a small one bedroom to one of the 1700 sq ft townhouses and I absolutely love it. Very well behaved neighbors and I feel like I was in a very secure place. When my husband is in office I will go pool or club house and chill with my baby. We also used a lot of potlucks in our community and neighbor gathering. I have to say this is by far the best apartment complex I've ever lived in. It's the only one I've ever seen with consistently positive reviews prior to moving here. The unit we have is amazing, everything was clean and top notch when moving in. Additionally, their staff is constantly on top of things, even answering emails sent on the weekend within minutes. They always host great events, and keep us in the loop with everything going on. I've never lived in a place with more attentive staff. Additionally, this is literally the only place I've lived in this area where I haven't seen a single roach or bug anywhere. Not even in the trash chute. I had an issue with an amazon package, and the staff was on it right away helping me find it. My partner and I both said that this is the first place we've lived where there is literally nothing to complain about, only positives. The elevators are always running, and in the rare event they go down they're up within hours. The last place I lived in had elevators go down f

Jimmy is awesome all the time. I’ve been living at Cortland Legacy for the past two years, and overall, it’s been a positive experience. The location is fantastic, with plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The management team is very responsive; they always address maintenance requests promptly. For instance, when my air filter was dirty this summer, they had it fixed within an hour. I already referred friends to the Cortland Legacy apartment. Overall, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and well-managed place to live.

I have been living in my apartment for a year now and plan to renew for another year. The grounds are well kept and the amenities are always welcoming and clean. I enjoy the residents events they have for us. The monthly happy hours are interactive and fun. It's amazing not only to see the staff but the manager stays for the events too. I have been here for almost 2 years and have had a welcoming experience, the office is usually taking care of the issues I have come across since I work during the week and can only come in on Saturday's they have made my experience quite enjoyable to call this place home. I've also seen the most progress here at this office compared to some other Communities I have visited in the past where they don't follow up with you for any of your concerns or work orders so I also wanted to give a shout of to the maintenance team for always getting to do my request I place at a decent time. Overall I wanted to Thank the office staff for being so attentive and helpful.

As a person that is from out of state and moving to a new place I was very scared that we were not gonna find a place that my fiancee and I would like, feel safe in and is close to everything we need. My partner and I recently moved in to Cortland Legacy apartments and let me just start off by saying it has been nothing but peace and smooth sailing here. Thanks to Brianna we were able to find us the perfect home for the next few years. She was sweet , knowledgeable, friendly, and warming. Since moving in we have not had any problems, the amenities are beautiful, and my partner truly hasn’t stayed away from the gym yet haha. If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful, resort style apartment then Cortland is the perfect choice.

Cortland legacy has proven itself to be worth the money and a great place to live! I was paying only $100 less at my old place, however i will happily Pay the additional when the grounds is taken care of so well. Maintenance is quick, and very friendly. Leasing office is very helpful, just hard to reach sometimes but usually respond to voicemails fairly quick. No bugs/rodents I’ve noticed, and no trash laying around. Dog poop has gotten out of control but management is doing what they can. Overall very happy here, would recommend to anyone but especially young ladies/families as it’s a very safe community.

I have had a fantastic experience here at Courtland Legacy. I looked at a lot of different places, and this one just felt comfortable, which was important to me after moving to Frisco and having spent time in an impersonal and nearly impossible to navigate corporate rental. The apartment is great, with plenty of space for two, and nice high ceilings on the fourth floor. I pay for an assigned parking space, which is more than worth it, to me. The staff has been incredible, helping with my hectic move-in and early deliveries. (Thanks, Julio!!). They are always friendly and helpful, which makes a huge difference in quality of life in an apartment complex. There is a resident app that is convenient for finding out about resident gatherings and submitting maintenance requests...the one I have submitted was taken care of the very next day. My husband is here full time, and I am in and out every few weeks. I really love the apartment...it is a good size for two people, and on the 4th floor, the ceilings are SUPER high, making it feel bigger. The furnishings are all very nice, and the floor laminate is gorgeous. The staff is amazing, as well, with a special shout-out to Julio! When we first moved in, he took some unexpectedly early deliveries into the apartment for us, which he absolutely did not have to do, bless him! The staff also provided me with an access fob and key, for those times that I make my own way from the airport without my husband. I love the little "village" feel of this place, and I'm so glad to call this home in Frisco.

The only concern would be power wash the parking garrage at least once or twice a year due to dirt as plowing it only makes if worse however for the most part I rate it 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟.

This is the second Cortland property I've lived in and one of the things I love is there need to prioritize communication with residents. I've lived in Frisco for 7 years and have a problem with always wanting a place that feels new, and if you're familiar with Frisco then you know finding a new complex going up on every corner isn't an issue, but for the first time I'm actually going to renew a lease. Aside from the expansion of Legacy Rd going on, I LOVE the location. Having some choice restaurants within walking distance is a bonus and if you frequent The Shops or Grandscape you're only a 5 min drive away. The few maintenance requests I've had have been met on time and I usually see those guys attending to the complex area throughout my week. I've never had an issue with parking or my guests accessing the call box to buzz them in . The staff has always been courteous and kind with me and my pet. I'm looking forward to calling this place home for another year :)

This year is my 5th year living here and the experience has been great so far. When the new management (Cortland) took over my experience has been improved a lot. They are very nice, friendly, and helpful folks. I love the location, it's convenient to go places from here. The amenity is great and mostly clean, the apartment quality is good. Most of the issues that I've encountered were handled professionally in a timely manner. They offered great compromise rent price for long-term residents which I truly appreciate. I also have a beautiful pool view from my balcony. The neighbors are nice and respectful. I strongly recommend this place.

I’ve been with Cortland Legacy for 2 years now. Amazing is not the words to describe my living experience. First, these apartments are right in the middle of everything! 4 minutes from Grandscape, 7 minutes from the star, and 7 minutes from Legacy West! So fun and convenient. Unfortunately I have to move because legacy is too far from my new job. I’ll be transferring to a sister location. But, I wanted to come and give a review on how awesome my 2 years here were and also give a HUGE shout out to William Yates. Williams has the best apartment management ever. It’s super responsive, helpful, and understanding. He has made my transition from his to my new apartment a breeze! I have lived at the Cortland Legacy location since 2018. I really enjoy my community. The office and maintenance staff are really friendly and attend to issues quickly. I love my apartment layout and location. I miss all of our community activities they have been cancelled due to Covid 19. I will be glad when we can all come together again! 2023 Update: I am still a resident at Cortland Legacy Frisco and the current management staff is amazing. I always feel comfortable going to them with any problems or concerns because I know they will be addressed quickly. The outside grounds are very nice and there is a great sense of community here. The community activities have resumed and I have a great time coming together with the staff and neighbors!!

Cortland Legacy is not only a great place to live but it is an experience!!! Management really takes pride in keeping their tenants happy safe. The location is very close to Hwy 121/ Dallas North Tollway, and just over 5 min away from Legacy West, Stonebriar Mall and The Star!! Within the community you have fine dining, hair salons, barber shops, yoga studio and much more. (Complex also have yoga classes complementary to residents). Management is always thinking of ways to involve the community, including monthly events which are very nice to come home to after a long days work. There is an attached parking garage and the landscaping is always kept nice. Maintenance quickly responds and they are very knowledgeable and professional. They have now introduced a cleaning service to the community to assist residents with house keep. Amazing addition!!!! This truly feels like resort living and I am proud to be a resident.

Moving to Cortland Legacy from out of state was a big transition for me but Sierra and the whole team made it all so seamless. The maintenance staff is quick and reliable, there are regularly fun community events, and the grounds are always well kept. Absolutely wonderful place to live. The landscape (flowers etc.) are always kept pristine. The maintenance crew are always polite and expeditious in answering your requests. The office is always involved in keeping the residents happy and close. They usually have monthly events which everyone is invited. Also, the location of the apartments is far and beyond any other establishments in the area. Fine dining restaurants, Hair salons, and so much more .... ... I have given an accurate and honest review based on my wife and I living here for two years. Cortland is definitely a resort style of living

Good location, no frills apartment. Good apartment interior, but that's about it. Corridors have stench of trash. Amenities are ordinary, swimming pool is claustrophobic but clean. Maintenance is timely. Amazon fresh or Doordash faces trouble getting in, so you have to meet them outside.

Really happy with this place. We moved to TX after living in the same spacious FL home for the last 13 years and were concerned about going back to apartment life, now with 2 kids. But we've found that all of our concerns have dissipated. We feel safe here. The noise levels are very low - we don't ever hear our next door neighbors and our neighbors above can only be heard occasionally. The property management team has been spot on in ensuring our needs our met. We had an issue with our door key not working and also brought up an issue with our water. They fixed the key issue next day and they addressed our concerns with the water, plus gave us a 40 pack of bottled water to hold us over. My only gripe is with the residents who leave trash in the parking lot or who can't be bothered dropping their trash in the bin, instead choosing to leave it next to it for someone else to deal with. Fortunately, it doesn't last long as I've noticed the property deals with it swiftly.

I love this place so much I lived here twice. I lived here for 2 years, moved out to rent a house with my friend, then moved back here. I didn't even consider another apartment complex. I haven't had any major problems here. Any minor issue they fixed quickly! Also, we miraculously had power and water the whole time during the big freeze of 2021.

In regard to location to work or amenities, this place is definitely a good spot to get started on taking roots here in North Texas. Due to the recent winter storm, it's understandable that there is damage in the hallways of the apartment. The staff in the apartment is very accommodating to my needs, however do keep in mind that some service requests will occur without prior notification and people may come in without covering their shoes, so apartment cleanliness will be important. Depending on the unit you're applying for, you might end up with an apartment that hasn't been maintained for quite some time, so heavy inspection is important, especially for the sealants around windows and the function of patio doors. Community events also occur in the apartment, to which the staff of the apartment are always willing to initiate, so you may learn something new as you stay here. As for general climate, it's currently late-spring/early summer, so do keep in mind of the pests that are active around here, especially

I've lived here for going on 9 months now. Maintenance crew is awesome anytime something is needed. Gym is great and pretty well kept. I only have had 2 issues with the complex and neither are Cortland's fault really. I have neighbors that love to play music with bass which I can hear when they play it and Amazon has trouble delivering here now and again. Usually the case is that they deliver to the neighboring apartments because Cortland is 5275 and Ravella is 5225. Also if you get doordash or uber eats a lot just tell the driver to meet you in front of the leasing office, it'll save you both a lot of time as the complex can be confusing to people who haven't been inside it before.

The community has a lot of dogs. You can no longer enjoy a walk with out being attacked by dogs outside or inside. Do not rent on the 1st floor in the Bldg 1 apartments in the back. The dog walkers migrate on the sidewalk early AM and late night and the dogs bark at each other...so much for sleep. The traffic from Town and Country will be your alarm. All the apartment have wood floors so if like me you have big foot living above you, you will loose sleep. Every single step is heard. It's sounds like Big Foot is walking down stairs but there are no stairs. New neighbors moved in who party on special occasions and who are not Black or of African decent can be heard using the "N" word; which very offensive. I will say manger Trish is great. This community used to be very quiet and nice but things are changing and rent amount no longer equates with the style of living.

I am moving out today and did not want to go but needed to for a new job too far away to stay. The staff is amazing... From the time I first walked into the leasing office until today Aaron and Trish, the manager, have gone above and beyond to accommodate me. Always extremely friendly, even allowing John (maintenance manager) to run up to my apartment with last minute tools I needed to help me take something apart. Not surprisingly, he was glad to help. These have been the quietest apartments I’ve ever lived in. Never would know that I had neighbors. This was huge for me after having very loud experiences before in other complexes. I’ve enjoyed my experience and the location is great. Highly recommend Cortland Legacy apartments in Frisco. Comfortable, quiet, friendly atmosphere... can’t beat it.

Very friendly, informative, and charismatic staff. I had the pleasure of taking a tour here, Trish and Aaron were pleasant and welcoming. In my opinion, they’re offering the same great quality that other complexes are charging hundreds more a month for. The units are true to the pictures online. Personally, I think the amenities and grounds look even better in person. Very clean and well maintained inside and out. One thing that stood out in this community in comparison to others I’ve looked is that I can tell the staff genuinely cares here.

Thank you Trish. Lived here for 6 years and loved it. Saw the property change managers about 5 times. Brian and Trish did the most for the property and thankfully Trish has been there the longest. Recently had a billing issue due to the property ownership change and Trish worked really hard to get it resolved. Trish, thank you. I know you often have to resolve similar issues and get the brunt of complaints but you do a great job of settling them and have done an excellent job of managing the property. Where do I begin? Jamal is awesome and helps me with anything I need. I moved here in January and have no complaints! The team is awesome and definitely looks out for their residents. Maintenance workers (Gregg and George) are so kind! I needed help with my car batter and they changed it for me with no hesitation.
