The amenities are nice (I wish we also had a hot tub, but I know that's a big hassle maintenance ask), and basically, this is a great cozy comfortable place to call and come, home to!

I’ve lived here for almost 6 years and I’ve known Stormie (agent turned manager!) for all 6 of those years. She is amazing and I was so glad to know she isn’t going anywhere. Maintenance guy Carlos is super helpful anytime I need something. I have loved living here even back when it was a different name. It truly feels like a neighborhood and as someone who lived in a house for 30 years before this, that’s important to me. I have lived here for almost 8 months and I have no complaints. Stormi is always willing to help with anything and is always a great person to lend an ear. I love the outside space since it's so green and we finally get to enjoy the pool area again since the weather is nice. The location is perfect if you work in Galveston but love to visit Houston on the weekends like I do. I appreciate the neighborhood feel the most and will likely resign when renewal comes up. You won't regret leasing here!

The amenities at the complex were top-notch, offering everything I needed for a comfortable living experience. The maintenance team was incredibly responsive—whenever an issue arose, they were quick to fix it, often within hours of my request. I moved in about 4 months ago and couldn't be more happy with my choice. I worked with Stormie who was just a doll. She helped me every step of the way and I'm so grateful to her for that. I'm coming from Ohio and brand new to Texas so I was hoping to have an agent like her and lucked out. The community is gorgeous and the landscaping is to die for. I love all the green spaces since I'm a bit of a hippy. I love the office area and how quiet and quaint it is. I WFH so having a spot to go do that with working WIFI is top notch. The outdoor lounge is also awesome for that since the WIFI reaches there. I'm excited to bring my family down to show them why I chose Cortland!

I moved in several weeks ago and have been pleased with management and the atmosphere of the complex. I have worked with Stormie, and she has been very prompt and helpful with issues I had. Also, just the general indicators of safety are present. People are always outside walking their dogs or going to work in the morning. They have a law enforcement officer living in the complex. Overall, it is a good apartment complex for the price and general area.

I really like Cortland! The units and staff are nice. My only complaint is that maintenance requests are occasionally ignored or cancelled without any communication. Otherwise, I would totally recommend these apartments!

I was in a bit of a chicken pickle and needed help and Carlos, Alex, and Rolando came to save the day! I have been living here for over 4 years, and my favorite thing about Cortland is the friendly staff. Today was a true testament of helping a neighbor…they didn’t have to do it, but what they did for me I truly appreciate so much ❤️ They are so hard working and such gentlemen. It’s always a pleasure being around them! I always have crazy requests and they’re always so nice to me. My experience at the Courtland has been everything I hoped it would be with this complex being the first apartment complex I’ve moved into. With the amenities such as the pool during these warm days and a pool table during cooler weather makes it easy to spend my time at work and walking distance to wear I live. Alex was actually the person who first helped me when I was in the market for a place. He showed me what would be my future apartment and has always been nice to chat with. Maintenance for any issues has been easy to handle as well. They are prompt and ready to fix whatever issues I have had.

We have lived here for six years and just signed for a seventh. We absolutely love it here. We have two children now that we are raising here and we love the fact that we're able to take them outside to the courtyard to play and run. That was one of the main reasons we chose this place because we planned on expanding our family. We love our neighbors because they're always looking out for us and that's priceless. The office staff, namely Stormi and Alex, are always ready to help with anything if needed. I'm not sure what happened to some of the past "residents who have left bad reviews and what possessed them to do that but for me and my family, we only have good things to say about Cortland. I recommend this place to everyone who is looking in the League City area.

I've lived here for the last 2.5 years and it is the most comfortable community I've ever lived in. My neighbors are very polite and we look out for each other. I also like how quiet the whole place is. That's important to me since I WFH. I recently transferred into a renovated unit and it's like getting that new apartment feel all over again but you don't have to fully start over somewhere new. Office staff, namely Stormie and Alex, are always friendly and very helpful. This is a great place to live and I recommend to anyone.

I never write reviews but because Stormy asked me to give something feedback, I figured I could do that for her since for the last 4 years of me living here, she’s been nothing but awesome. She’s helped with so many different small things over the years that I couldn’t possibly thank her enoughAlex the manager is great and is always willing to lend an hand and them two together are a force. I love this location since it’s literally 3 min from my job and I also love the maintenance work and communication. The leasing office is immaculately clean and smells divine. Living here for the last 3 years has been such a breeze. I love the location of my apartment and my neighbors make this place feel like a home. The office staff make it that much better as well. I always feel heard and not rushed when I'm in there and that means a lot to me, honestly. I loved that they offer free yoga classes and the leasing agent, Stormie was the best and so welcoming! She is patient, kind, and personable. She did not make me feel rushed during the tour but instead walked beside me, and instead of jumping on a golf cart to tour the property, we walked to the unit. That was different because most communities will have you sit on a golf cart and speed fast through the community. Stormie is my favorite leasing agent out of all the properties that I visited in League City. She has such a beautiful personality. I could speak with her for hours on end. She was non-judgemental and answered all of my questions with ease. She made me feel very comfortable. The Cortland community of League City is well-maintained, but I just wished that they had more open garages. An added bonus is knowing that they don't have white appliances, but instead SS appliances. I was able to tour this property with Stormy and I wound up leasing that same week because I loved it so much. The staff was amazing but the property and all the green space definitely sold me. You won’t be worth leasing here trust me!

I got to tour with Stormie today and it was such a pleasure to talk to someone that treats you as a human. So many leasing agents and realtors have made me feel really uncomfortable lately and so she was like a breath of fresh air. I felt comfortable asking questions and going over different things that I didn't feel comfortable doing at other places. Have been renting here just over a year. Just resigned our lease and I gotta say we love it! Maintenance is always work to respond for fixes. The grounds are very neatly kept. Stormie is fantastic! Alex is great. Grounds are nice with plenty of amenities. Nice location. Seems safe but I just moved in so I’m not entirely sure on everything. The maintenance manager is an a-hole. I don’t recommend anything on the third floor. The bedrooms are hot and kind of stay hot until the sun goes down.

I had the pleasure of living at this complex for 6 years, most of the office staff has been here since I applied!! Which is so rare, and I think it speaks highly of the community. they’ve become more than just an office staff, and they helped me every single time I asked. the maintenance team is absolutely amazing!!! My initial experience was great. The staff was wonderful. However once u moved into my apartment there was a peculiar smell that won't go away. I'm not sure if the occupant before me and a pet or there was some type of water leak but the smell still lingers no matter what. The amenities are nice as well as the area, just wish the smell would go away.

Stopped in yesterday for a tour and I really liked everything I saw. From the indoor clubhouse to the outdoor lounge area (with ping pong!) I loved every part of the community. My tour guide Stormi was friendly and she seemed to know what she was talking about which makes me feel better since I don't know anything about apartments since I've lived in houses my whole life. I've lived here a little over two years now and I can't say enough about how much I love this place. The grounds are always nice, especially the green spaces. The interior of my apartment is renovated. I can always find a parking spot. The clubhouse and pool and lounge area are so nice to have across all seasons. Most importantly, the office staff is not only accommodating but also some of the nicest people I've ever come across. Alex and Stormi have been here for a long time and I can see why. They're so good at what they do because they make residents feel like family and that's important. Cortland really stands apart from other communities and I saw that since my very first tour! I had the pleasure of touring this property a few weekends ago and was so impressed by not only the upkeep of the community but also the staff. Stormie was my tour guide and was knowledgeable and very sweet. This is my first apartment in a really long time and I asked a lot of questions and she never got annoyed which so many other places have, unfortunately. Alex, I believe he said he was the assistant manager, was so nice as well when I arrived for my tour and showed me how to use the coffee machine (which was amazing btw). All of this sounds trivial but honestly, it was the best I’ve been treated throughout my search within the last few months. I’m not ready to sign quite yet but Cortland is definitely where I would feel most comfortable about leasing. I definitely recommend this property and for you to ask for either Stormie or Alex. Love this place!

We were able to tour with Stormie right away (did not need appt) and actually decided to lease that same day because it met everything we were looking for. I felt super comfortable asking questions with Stormie, who toured us, and that wasn't something I had gotten before at other places. The exterior was so GREEN and well kempt and the clubhouse exceeded all of what we have seen at other properties. This was a no brainer. We have already moved in and have met most of our neighbors who have been very inviting. All around, exceptional customer service and I'm so happy we chose here.

I toured over the weekend with my son and his girlfriend with Stormie and everything from start to finish was perfect. We have toured more than a few properties over the last few weeks and Cortland is definitely top tier. I enjoyed the amazing customer service from Stormie even though it was a very busy day but she never made us feel rushed. We got to tour with Stormie this morning and I’ve never felt more welcomed during an apartment tour. Some of the other staff introduced themselves and we even came across some residents who had nothing but amazing things to say about the community as a whole. One guy even got out of the pool to let us know how he felt and we laughed all the way home about it. This felt so much like a family atmosphere, warm and inviting, that Cortland has made the top of our list. Stormie spent so much time going over everything so that we felt informed and she even spoke to my mom on FaceTime. Can’t say enough good things about this tour!

My favorite part of living here is the green scenery everywhere. It truly feels like having a big backyard and it makes my heart happy. Staff is amazing and always tries to make sure I'm taken care of and I truly appreciate that! The clubhouse is always immaculate and smells devine. Can I just start off by saying that I have been living here for 2 years now and I never had any problems. When I first came to tour, I was so nervous since it was my first time living on my own. Alex showed me around the property and he was so nice and professional. I was asking questions for a good 20 minutes, and he was so patient with me and answered each one. We had toured many properties prior to going to Cortland League City. At each of those other properties, it usually meant walking into the office and having this awkward period of just standing there waiting to be greeted. BUT not at Cortland League City. We were surprise as soon as walked into the office, the front desk team immediately greeted us and stood up to help us. Already we felt welcomed and it hadnt even been a minute. The community and all the amenities are well maintained. The gym has a variety of fitness equipment and free weights (which other communities we saw that day did not have free weights). As we toured the property, anytime we past a staff member, they too acknowledged us! Due to the great staff, we knew that Cortland League City would be a great place to call home as our house is being built! We can not wait for our move in date.

I randomly stopped in to tour yesterday and was pulled in by the modern look of the outside of the property. Stormi came to the door and greeted us which was super nice because no one else has done that yet and we’ve toured 11 places within the last week. She was super upbeat and her and my gf spent the whole tour talking about cats which sounds trivial but this whole thing has stressed my gf out so much so Stormi being able to take her mind off the stress of moving for a bit was huge in my book. It’s a bit out of our price range but we’re definitely still considering because the property is beautiful and obviously the staff is great. Thank you Stormi for being awesome. Awesome name btw.

This place is such a hidden gem. The office/clubhouse had already won me over because it is gorgeous. Then the exceptional A1 customer service I received when I toured with Stormy pretty much sealed the deal. The model was amazing and I was nervous to just go off the model so Stormy showed me a one bedroom that was move in ready and I was still blown away. I can 100% say with certainty that this August, I will be leasing with Cortland!

I took a tour last week and was pleasantly surprised how much I loved the finishes and interior of the apartments I saw. I also really loved how spacious and green the courtyard is because I love being outside. The walking trail that runs by the police station was a nice touch too. If you're looking for that home-y feeling in an apartment complex, Cortland is the best place for that. Stormie and Alex have been working in the office for several years and each time I pop in to say hi or call for a simple work order they treat me like a friend instead of a nameless resident. Since I moved out of my house unexpectedly two years ago they have always gone above and beyond to make me feel at ease about transitioning back to apartment living and I am very grateful for them. The apartments are lovely as well but the staff is what makes this feel like home. 10/10 recommend.

The space of my unit is so great. I live in the 727 sqft apartment and with so many windows it feels so airy and bright inside. Maintenance works hard to keep the amenities clean and I appreciate that so much since I go to the pool at least twice a week. Office staff is so kind and Stormie made my move in so easy and effortless. Best apartment I've ever had!

I have lived here a little over 3 years and there's a reason that there's so many of us long term residents still around. The location is amazing and so close to everything including i45 that getting anywhere in the city is quick and easy. The office staff is always willing to listen and help as best they can and maintenance is always on top of everything. I have thought about moving to a different area but it's hard to find one place that offers these things and more so we always wind up renewing every year. You won't regret leasing anywhere with the Cortland name but League City is definitely top of the list!

What stands out the most about this complex (compared to all my previous ones) are the community/neighbors and Carlos. For starters, in my experience the neighbors I've encountered--from walking or sharing amenities with--have all been very respectful and kind. I love seeing the variety of ages, families, and cultures here and hope it really stays this way! I also must give a shoutout to Carlos/maintenance as well because he can literally fix anything. He's a great guy and always has a smile and optimistic attitude no matter how big the problem may be! Overall, I honestly can say I love it here and really commend the staff for maintaining a wonderful living community. These reviews are either from a place of problem (totally understandable) or gratitude of living. My family and I have lived here for almost 3 years and I can easily say we have loved every second of it. Alex, Stormi and the rest of the Cortland team are awesome and do their best to make people feel at home. The community is pleasant and peaceful, so we walk around all the time. We've made some lifelong friends with neighbors. The prices are higher, yes, but you get a beautiful and safe community. You know everyone here is here for good reason.

Cortland League City is an exceptional place to live. Property is maintained nicely and landscaping is refreshed often. Entry/exit gates are serviced and repaired in a reasonable amount of time but are rarely out of service. It is also a big plus for me that I have a garage attached to my apartment. It is so convenient. The office staff are definitely an asset to Cortland. They are friendly and make every effort to make this feel like home.

My time living at Cortland League City has been absolutely wonderful! The initial leasing and move-in experience could not have been better, and I attribute that to Stephanie Allred. Visited here as a potential place to stay for my upcoming move and fell in love with the area and apartment complex! Stephanie in the leasing office was absolutely amazing! She answered all my questions thoroughly, gave an awesome and realistic tour, and was extremely helpful with any additional questions after my tour. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to lease here because the quotes that was given the day of my tour expired within 48 hours and the newest quotes increased tremendously and was out of budget. Overall, if you are looking to rent here, ask for Stephanie in the Leasing Office. She will be able to handle all your needs and questions!

I was waiting to write my review until after the moving out process was completed. WOW! Alex and his team are AWESOME! I lived at Cortland for over two years. I have zero complaints. Stormi and her coworkers in the office are so personable and really try their best to make sure all your needs are taken care of. Alex, the manager, is very professional and really cares about his renters. The only reason I moved was so I could be closer to work. The moving process was a breeze. I have lived in many apartment complex. Once you move out, they try to scam out of all your money. NOT HERE!!! They continued with their awesome and HONEST service. If you are looking to call a place home I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

She is professional, friendly, to the point and above board with information. I recently spoke with a vendor that contracts with this property and they were very “pro”-Cortland and had really GOOD things to speak of the property. Starting off my family and I had the displeasure of having an awful downstairs neighbor who basically didn't want us existing in our apartment at all. Full disclosure: this is a review based entirely on the touring and leasing process for Cortland League City. Scheduling an in-person tour with Cortland was very simple and easy to do via their website. We did just that and was contacted by Stormie Martinez from the office soon afterwards, asking us what we were most interested in viewing and whether or not we had any particular preferences in what we were looking for. Since we had looked at the Apartment Map (also on the website, in the "Floor Plans" page) for currently available units prior to scheduling, we let her know of the exact unit that we wanted to check out. When we showed up for our tour, Stormie greeted us at the entrance of the office inside the leasing center. She checked in with us again regarding our preferences prior to guiding us through the tour of the model unit as well as through the rest of the community. Cortland League City has the kindest residents and staff that I have ever experienced in an apartment complex. Anytime I have a question or concern it is met quickly and politely. Stephanie Allred has especially taken good care of me. She is the best there is!

The process of renting an apartment with Cortland was such an easy and pleasant experience. Stephanie was so helpful throughout the whole process, and made me feel very comfortable. Stephanie has been checking in with me and answering all my questions. I was also impressed with the whole office staff and how they interacted with all who came into the office. I am very excited to move into my apartment soon, and I have no doubt that I will continue to have a positive experience. The office staff have been amazing as I transition to the community (they are very responsive as I've asked a million questions!). It's been a while since I've lived in an apartment and I've been pleasantly surprised with how things have changed (I rarely hear any external noise_. I love that they host weekly events (some in person and some via Zoom) and recently enjoyed a Zoom paint party! The grounds have been well maintained and it's so peaceful.

Office staff is always friendly and welcoming. Maintenance requests are always taken care of timely and the maintenance staff are professional while in your apartment. Overall, I think this is one of the best, if not the best, apartment communities in the League City area.

Quick responses from staff. They’re friendly and always available. The complex is up to date compared to others in the area. Stormy is so pleasant and available anytime we need anything. Stormie has gone above and beyond in making sure I don't feel forgotten about. Over the last few months I've been looking for somewhere to live from moving across the country later this year. Phenomenal experience!! The easiest move I've ever had! I desperately wanted out from my last apartment, so I scheduled a walk-through with Stormie, and upon arriving I instantly fell in love with Cortland. Stormie took the time to break down information, answer my questions thoroughly, made us feel welcomed and at ease. During the application/move-in process, she maintained excellent communication and ensured I understood the game plan. She's the absolute best!! I've lived at Cortland for about a month, and I'm still in awe. The community is beautiful, quiet, clean, maintenence is quick and efficient- hands down the best apartments I've lived in! I love it here! ❤

I sold my house and was in search of an apartment and had looked at several. I stopped at Cortland and was amazed by the office staff. I talked to my kiddos when we left and they loved everyone. It was nice and felt like home! The apartments complex appears quiet and is very clean! I’m glad we chose this place!

Such an easy process! Move in date is tomorrow, and Stephanie has made things SO easy. From the moment I called her to inquire about the complex to getting everything signed and taken care, she was on top of it. Stephanie is so nice, informative and she's personalized the entire process of getting an apartment. Everyone here is extremely helpful, but if you are looking to move here, ask for Stephanie! She will make sure you are taken care of!

I came into tour a couple days ago and while sitting in the waiting area I ended up striking up a conversation with the Property Manager. She was so kind and I was shocked to find out that she ran the place because most of them only hide in the office :). Stormi did such an amazing job and didn't waste my time bringing me to apartments that wouldn't fit my families need. She is very personable and I can see why the place is highly rated. The other leasing agent even took the time to go over local gyms and what this area has to offer since I'm from Cypress. Even the maintenance guys waived and smiled while Stormi and I walked by. Unfortunately they only offer hardwood floors on first floor and none are available. I understand not having the hardwood floors on 2nd and 3rd because the noise would be terrible then but darn it I wanted to lease there!!

I loved living here! Became best friends with my neighbors and loved my apartment! The staff is great and very helpful. I loved the waterfalls at the pool and using the fitness center with my son.
