I love living here. We have been here for a year no bugs, things need to be fixed they get fixed, and all my neighbors are wonderful. The apartment it is wonderful 😊 and spacious. Storage is a little lacking but you can find ways around that.

I’ve been here almost 2 weeks. The staff is extremely nice and friendly. From the leasing coordinator who handles the application process (who isn’t local) to the people who are in the office. Even maintenance, super nice. There were a few issues when we initially moved in that they rectified and are currently handling. Maintenance is VERY fast. Rent is a bit high but the area is nice and close to everything we need. Nice to be close to Orlando without actually being there every day. Another thing I love is that the gate actually works lol Broken gates are becoming the norm in apartment complexes. So far, so good! Hoping it stays that way .

I have only been living here since October, but I already feel at home. There are always fun events, my pets have even been treated to surprises, and just the other night we were treated to free churros. The nights are peaceful, and I honestly forget that the community is right off 436. I have lived in this area for years, and my only regret is not finding Cortland Lake Howell sooner. The team is amazing and the atmosphere is welcoming. Jarolyn is especially down to earth, and I never felt like I was being sold to. I truly love living here.

The team and residents truly feel like family—everyone looks out for one another and works together to create the best quality of life possible. Our events are amazing, and the way the community comes together is something I’ve never experienced anywhere else. From the moment I toured Cortland Lake Howell, I knew it was unlike any other apartment community I had visited — and after living here and experiencing even more of what this community offers, I can confidently say it continues to exceed my expectations. The grounds remain beautifully maintained, the amenities are thoughtfully designed, and the team consistently goes above and beyond to make every resident feel welcome, valued, and truly at home. The location is still one of my favorite things — peaceful and scenic, yet incredibly convenient to shopping, dining, and major roadways. The lake views and natural surroundings give the community a calm, resort-like feel that makes coming home feel like a true retreat.
