I would like to take a moment to recognize Jesse for the outstanding service he provided today at my sister’s home. Jesse arrived to address three concerns that had been submitted through a service request. While on site, he proactively identified a fourth issue an extremely dirty air filter and took it upon himself to address it. It was later brought to my attention that air filters within the Courtland community are not routinely changed every two months or even quarterly, as is common in many communities, and are instead handled only by work order. I immediately notified my sister and had her submit a work order while he took care of the issue on the spot. He cleaned the outside cover, replaced the filter, and wiped away all accumulated dust thoroughly. Jesse’s work ethic reflects someone who truly cares about the quality of their work and the residents they serve. Vanessa is an incredible asset to this company and this property. I ended up moving to a different area, so I did not lease here as expected, but for several months, Vanessa helped me find the right floor plan for me, even going above and beyond to make sure I could access certain areas during our tour since I have a physical disability. I wanted a very hard to find floor plan and could only be on the first floor. She kept me updated on things and even reached out to wish me a merry Christmas and new year. She is truly a gem and I hope Cortland appreciates and values her!

We got the keys today! And as expected no move in day is smooth. But the apartment was so filthy. Rust stain in sink. Floors are very dirty with a lot of what looks like white overspray paint. They did offer to have the floors cleaned. But in my opinion that should’ve been done prior to move in.

Living at Cortland Fossil Creek has been a positive experience overall. The team is responsive and helpful, and I’ve never experienced maintenance this quick and reliable before. The valet trash service is amazing, it’s convenient, takes a daily chore off my plate, and helps keep the community cleaner by reducing the chance of pests with garbage taken away every day. On top of that, I feel safe, it’s clean, and I love the big balconies where I enjoy the sunrise every single morning. Child let me tell you 😤! I’ve lived at Cortland for 2 years and have seen staff come and go, but the new team has really impressed me. With the office hour changes (closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays), it’s definitely taken a toll on everyone, especially with new staff stepping in. It truly couldn’t have been easy adjusting to all of that at once, but the team has handled it so well. Julie keeps everyone united and always delivers, Rhani picked up seamlessly where the last assistant manager left off, and Vanessa makes move-ins and renewals simple and stress-free. I definitely would have cracked! I’ve witnessed countless times the heat they receive from residents due to the changes . My AC hasn’t been acting right since I moved in. My electric bill went from $130 to $285. There is no reason for a one bedroom electric bill to be that high. My third call to have my AC looked at, Jesse came out. He did a thorough job! The AC unit has a sheet of ice and had to be thawed overnight. Jesse made sure I had a portable AC unit placed in my apartment and came over the following morning. He found there was a leak and made sure everything was cleaned out. Jesse made sure that the vents were opened and not pointed to the ceiling like they previously were. I feel the cool air in every room. I wanted to wait a few days to make sure it would still be working. It is still working! I appreciate Jesse for taking time to look at everything and fine my AC and overall. Although he did find a slow leak, he did report that. Jesse is amazing!

We've lived by the golf course -side of this property for 2 years in a one bedroom. We love the 2 pools and gym. Every day, we get to enjoy the beautiful golf course as a walking trail. It's extremely quiet out there and inside of the property. There are 2 small lakes on the golf course we walk around. Maintenance fixes everything within the day or next day. The grills and pool aren't cleaned up after parties and there are lots of parties. Sometimes they shut down pools on Mondays. I feel safe here and I have some neighbor friends. The trash fee is too much, so I want to just do it.

Jessie came today and got a wasp nest down, gave me advice on my dishwasher to make it more efficient and changed my air filter and cleaned the coils so we have better air flow in the unit!

I’ve lived here for 6 years. The property has changed ownership since I moved in, but the quality of life has not suffered at all. Courtland is very well kept, quiet, and peaceful. The property overlooks the Fossil Creek golf course, which gives a very nice view to many of the units including mine. The gym is nice. The pools are nice. The maintenance staff and office staff are very friendly and helpful. The community is gated and there is security staff on-site. The property offers covered parking and garages, both of which are fairly priced. Overall, I am very happy living here.

I love Cortland Fossil Creek! My daughter lives here and I love how peaceful it feels… The pool area feels nice, there’s lot of parking for when I come to visit, and the staff has always been so helpful, friendly and personable. I've lived here for seven years. The maintenance staff here is fantastic. The grounds are kept really nice and really clean. Whenever I've had a request, I've always had a prompt response, either within hours or within 1 day. Everyone on the staff is very friendly and patient with my questions. This has been the case even with staff turnover, which tells me the training is very good. The outside of my apartment is very well lit, I feel very secure here anytime of day or night. Kind and responsive staff via in person and email! The phone is often not answered and I don't know why but the email and in person options get the job done just fine. The maintenance staff are all incredibly nice and professional and its always a joy to say hi or have a little chat with them. My my favorite aspect is the constant communication of amenity status, due dates for important things like renewing your license registration before getting towed, community events, event space rentals, and reminders of community requirements. Pretty well maintained and quiet. No place is perfect but this place is pretty nice! The prices are definitely pretty dang high but that's the main drawback I see.

Ever since we moved in over a month ago, everyone we've met has been very friendly and helpful. The neighbors are so very nice and quiet and we hardly ever hear them when they're home. The front office staff has been extremely kind and helpful in taking care of the few issues we had upon moving in. The community is kept clean, trash is picked up on a daily basis, and the landscaping is well taken care of. The Parcel Pending feature is unique and very much appreciated. My husband and I love 💕 living here at Cortland Fossil Creek! We’ve been here a little over a year now, and just recently signed a new lease. It’s a beautiful community and we feel very safe and comfortable here. The grounds are well maintained and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Not to mention the kind-of “hidden” location is close to everything without feeling like you’re in the middle of it all. Apartments are well maintained, have had a few issues with AC, disposal, and everything is always fixed day of/next day, the maintenance crew is great and never seem bothered to come out and fix anything. Plenty of parking, haven't had any bug problems, neighbors are friendly. Office is constantly putting on events for the residents, while I haven't attended any, it's a decent perk of you're into getting out and socializing with your neighbors. Location is good, pretty quiet, especially inside the units don't have any noise from the hwy or Coca-Cola distribution. Gates are always working, and if broken are fixed very quickly. Basically, your standard issues with apartments (bugs, broken items in apartment, parking, broken access gates) aren't really a thing here. Very satisfied with my choice to move here.

How can I describe my experience without sounding disingenuous? The fact is, my apartment and the whole complex is the best experience I've ever had. Beginning with maintenance. Anytime I need anything, a maintenance person shows up in less than 24 hours. I've had maybe 3 plumbing emergencies in six years, and when I've called the emergency number for this, a maintenance person came out within an hour. They are always friendly and competent and patient. The grounds are always immaculate, the lighting is great, I always feel safe no matter what time of day or night. The apartment itself is spacious with large windows that provide lots of light. The fitness center is large and has lots of windows and equipment, and is kept very clean and in working order. The only complaint I have is that the residents entrance gate is frequently under repair, but I've never had a problem getting in or out, so it's relatively insignificant. What else can I say? It's simply the best.

I recently got a chance to tour some apartments with Megan. She gave me a great tour of the facility and was delightful. She was welcoming and very knowledgeable of the apartments and I left with no question’s unanswered. I know when I’m ready to apply for an apartment I will be doing it here

I love my apartment, I love the staff more. The maintenance team is the best , for example , Juan a maintenance worker took special time to carry for me items when he notice while riding to another job that I had more things I could carry myself. And I live on the third floor. Their entire maintenance team , Jesse and their team leader lead by Mr E Bryant are all kind polite courteous and smart. And all the workers in staff are wonderful. Stacy inside and her staff smile and greets everyone who walks in their office. Not only does this Community look beautiful pet friendly and smokeless environmentally, the workers and staff treats everyone like a loving family member would.

This was one of the best experiences I had touring apartments. I felt welcomed and comfortable the second I walked in. Samantha took time to ask me questions I’ve never been asked when touring before - she inquired about what I’m even looking from a home and other preferences. Then we went on a tour of the property & apartments. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! Samantha was absolutely engaging & energetic and so happy to be helping us. I hope to call this place home in July!!

I lived here for 3 1/2 years and I love the apartment. The staff is friendly and the maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. The valet trash staff are friendly and always speak to you. We are currently residing at a different Cortland Apartment Community and signed a lease to soon move over to Fossil Creek. We absolutely loved the location and amenities for the price point. We are very grateful for Nicole for giving us a tour and helping us find an apartment that was right for us in the time frame we needed it by! We are extremely grateful for Samantha as well because we had issues with not being told what a transfer from Cortland to Cortland entailed or given the proper paperwork so we could enjoy the benefits, but Samantha was the one to educate us and she also took the reigns and made sure to right the wrongs! Things can always go wrong no matter where you go, but We value so much more that we are taken care of even when it happens, and that is worth 5 stars to us. Everything has been good so far. The guys below my apartment smoke weed most of the weekends and this makes me wake up with headache, and the gym has space for improvement. But besides that, it's been a great experience.

Huge thank you to Juan from the maintenance team, We had a very expensive package delivered to the apartment’s and it was randomly dropped in some location that was not an apartment nor the office. He took the time out of his day to drive around and look for it , found it , then brought it too our door. I’ve only lived here for 7 months and i will say cortland holds their maintenance team to an amazing standard and it is by far the best i’ve seen. Once again thank you to Juan, from the many interactions I have had with Juan this man deserves nothing but the best. Do not hold back on giving this man a raise !

Quiet place unless there's a golf cart sitting by my window and they yell about their game. They move on quickly usually. Beautiful landscaping , trees... Pools are clean Gate is annoying, don't see a reason to have it. Trash pick up should pick up recycling for that steep fee.

My boyfriend and I came in today to check out a couple floor plans during our search of new apartments to move to, and within 15 minutes after leaving, we agreed we HAD TO MOVE IN! From the first moment we met Megan and Stacy in front office to our interactions with Ibrian Carpena and his Cortland service team our experience here has been way beyond our expectation. From top to bottom all Cortland team make your feel like you are truly appreciated and are like family. The service response times are great and Ibrian and his team are very helpful and knowledgeable. Our neighbors are great and all very friendly. Considering the price of the apartments, there are much better places of higher quality. It is pretty clear that there was no care given to my unit before move-in to ensure that it was clean and that everything was operational. Quality standards are pretty low. Maintenance requests were, however, dealt with in an orderly timeframe.

The staff is amazing. They are always engaging and bringing residents together with community events. They really care about their residents and it shows. The apartment complex offer several amenities and views. It is nestled perfectly near a golf course. It is easy to access complex and close to hwy I-35. Lots of restaurants nearby and walking trails. They are very pet friendly. You can wash and vacuum your car at an onsite area. They have 2 resort style pools. The gym is huge with everything you need. The equipment is top notch condition. When I call in a work order they get it done almost immediately. I was recently impressed by them having easter hunt for residents. Also, they had breakfast and wine me down. I have never lived in a complex that was so active with its residents. Best complex ever. You definitely want to rent here.

Me and my husband just moved in Monday 4/24 and omg the staff is amazing! We had the pleasure of working with Chabeli & Meagan & these ladies will make sure you are taken care of, they seriously go above and beyond!! Me and my husband had so many questions and had a few days to move from our current apartment and these ladies made sure we got it all taken care of. I would love to start by saying everyone was so helpful, very polite, and made everything easy. But if I may I want to really appreciate Megan for all her help. I bothered her to death with calls and questions. And she was always there to help me. So for now I have been here for a month and everything has been great. Also the events that they hold for us is greatly appreciated. Other places I have lived they don’t do anything like they do here. Would recommend this place to everyone.

We started in a 2 bedroom and signed a new lease for a 3 bedroom. We love it here and feel very safe in the community. All of the office staff are very nice and go above to help you out. Megan helped with our first apt and was very good. Jordan helped with our second apt. And they were both amazing. If you are looking for and beautiful safe apt community to rent. Where to begin. This was my first time residing in an apartment. My wife and I sold our California home in Aug 2022 and made the relocation to Fort Worth for quality of life and employment reasons. Our first landing was a hotel near Roanoke for a couple of weeks while scouting out places to live. Cortland Fossil Creek scored highly. With my 4y/o daughter in tow, I visited Fossil Creek for a tour. Jordan was awesome. She made Leah and I feel welcomed and appreciated as we toured the property. Our goal was to purchase a new home within 3 months. I needed a shorter term lease than standard. She and Megan were awesome with that as well. Thus, Cortland Fossil Creek became home. We closed escrow on a new home late November and moved out of Fossil Creek just before Christmas. I will miss the atmosphere at Cortland Fossil Creek, the amenities, and even the beautifully renovated apartment we were in. Nice Complex to live, nice pool, exercise, room, study room, outdoor pits near the pool. Excellent location for work in and around the the area when construction is complete. Wish there were more dog parks. Having trash pickup during the week is a plus when you are on the run for work or something. The amount of trash generated warrants a better dumpster setting. Or a change more often based on need not schedule. 4.5 star 🌟

From being homeless at the beginning of the year to Jordan getting us into a new apartment asap, and then when we expressed the need to downsize due to aftermath of being homeless, she has gone above and beyond for us and has treated us so well. We have lived at Cortland Fossil Creek for about 5 years & just renewed our lease....again. We really have and do enjoy living here. It is a very nice place to live. It is convenient to a lot of entertainment, good places to eat, shopping, The Stockyards and downtown Fort Worth. It is gated and we do have a Security Officer which is a major plus. We have THE best manager & team! followed by THE best Maintenance team! They really do a great job taking care of the Community. We have activities, Food Trucks, and free pizza too! The amenities are super nice and well maintained. We have 2 pools, both are awesome and a Fitness Center that is well equipped. The front office is really nice and ready to help . We think of Cortland as our home. It just a nice place to live. What can I say....when you find somewhere that fits....you stay!:)

It is a beautiful property and in the right location, and after much searching I keep coming back- mainly because of Jordan. I've lived at Cortland Fossil Creek for five years. There are so many great things about living here. First, the maintenance. The exteriors of the buildings and the landscaping are kept immaculately. Whenever I've needed something (air filter changed, sink clogged) they come out promptly. Ibraim and the rest of the maintenance staff are not only skillful and professional, but they are always friendly. I've never had a better maintenance experience. When I moved in, everything in my apartment was absolutely brand new, and I just love it. The exterior lighting is like daylight, I always feel very secure here. I walk around all the time in the evening and my neighbors are always very friendly. The fitness room has alot of equipment, and everything is kept clean. The swimming pools look like a luxury hotel. And the staff in the office have been great, they always take care of anything I need right away, and they are very friendly and professional. I may be leaving something out, but to sum it up, this is the best

My experience thus far has been exemplary. We relocated from SoCal. 1st week here was in a hotel near Roanoke. That began the search for a 3 month lease (will be purchasing a home soon). Jordan at Cortland Fossil Creek was my tour guide. I had my daughter (very bright and busy 4 y/o) with me and Jordan made sure to include her (even provided a coloring book and crayons for her while in the main office). I had some specific needs/desires and she was sure to taylor the tour to those. She remained in contact as I was deciding on places. Cortland Fossil Creek won, hands down, in large part to the excellent customer service shown. Of course, this beautifully appointed place to stay helped lol. The community is nestled by a golf course and surrounded by nice single-family homes. The whole complex looks like condo/townhomes. We are located almost as far from the main building as you can be. There is a beautiful second pool area near here, a small car wash area thing (vacuum and water hose it seems) etc. So far, day

I wanted to wait to post my review so I could actually say from experience how much I love this place. I’ve been here a little over a month and a half now, and I already plan on renewing my lease when the time comes. Ever since I toured the apartments, I absolutely fell in love with it. The leasing agents actually called me ahead of time to find out exactly what I wanted out of my visit, and they went above and beyond to make sure my wife and I felt comfortable. They also worked with me and answered every single question I had. We applied and got accepted extremely fast, and move-in was super easy. If you’ve had nightmarish experiences with towing, bad neighbors, theft, closed amenities, or poor management, then I hope you hear my words. Cortland Fossil Creek is amazing!! High quality apartments, amazing staff, great amenities, wonderful neighborhood, and fun activities too, to connect with the community.

Jordan gave us a fantastic tour of the complex and showed us a couple different units as we couldn’t decide. She answered my million and one questions and was super helpful throughout the entire process! On our move in day Ibryan was incredibly helpful as well! We had some pests that were building nests on our patio and he took care of those for us and even walked us around to make sure we didn’t have any other questions. Jesse was absolutely phenomenal! He went above and beyond to make sure all of my maintenance issues were addressed and even showed me a few tricks of things that may need reset down the line. This has been by far the most welcoming and easiest move I’ve ever experienced in my time renting apartments and I will forever be praising your fantastic team here!!

A few irritable situations with the trash valet and what they decide to take or not take, but other than that i’ve loved calling it home. Officer. She was very patient, and was not condescending at all, (this is in contrast with experiences I've had at other apartments where I have lived in the past). My issue was that the call I made to the hotline was not entered into my resident portal, and the problem was not reported promptly to on-call maintenance, even though I stressed to them that the problem was urgent and could have caused damage to the floors in bathroom and bedroom. In response, Stacy immediately made some calls and verified that maintenance had not gotten that request. By the way, the maintenance staff is consistently excellent. Stacy's response stands out to me as an example of the way management offices should operate. Way to go Stacy!

EDIT: It’s Sunday the 15th and I want to update on my better experience with Darnell. He reached out to me yesterday evening and we set up a tour for today even though they’re not opened! He was so kind and apologetic when we met through Zoom, there was just a staffing issue yesterday. I also want to say we don’t hold any ill will towards Ciara as things happen and I’ve seen all the positive things everyone in the reviews say about so it was a fluke. We are absolutely falling in love with the community and will be applying soon. Thank you so much Darnell! So this has been quite the disappointing experience. My boyfriend and I are planning to move to Fort Worth in September and really like the Cortland at Fossil Creek apartments. Cortland Fossil Creek has a friendly staff and great maintenance team. Staff members have been helpful with with questions regarding my stay at this complex. I would like to specially mention that the maintenance team is excellent and have addressed my apartment issues promptly from burnt light bulbs to a damaged component on my AC unit preventing it from turning on during 90 degree weather. My experience here has been pleasant and peaceful and would recommend this complex to those interested in living in the area.

This review Is it based off of my move-in experience. Laura was my leasing agent and made sure that my move-in was flawless. There were a couple things that were not up to my standards moving in but I address them with Laura and David. His maintenance crew took care of them immediately I couldn't be more happy. I hope I stay as happy as I am now throughout the duration of my lease I definitely recommend this property its absolutely beautiful over looking the golf course and well kept. I’ve lived here for almost two years now in two different units! The office staff is always very helpful. The maintenance staff goes above and beyond at all times! The property is always kept clean. The only “issue” I’ve ever had was going from 30$ for valet trash and then randomly on my last lease they added a random additional fee titled-trashed-hauler fee of 10$. Seemed suspicious however the office staff said it was the fee added from the city? Other than that if you want a decently priced, calm, nice apartment complex this is a great community! It’s also a bonus living on a golf course with great views!

The only complaint I have is they are picky about what they want to pick up for trash. 30 bucks a month a pizza box or beer box not in a trash bag is not asking to much in my opinion.

We’ve lived at Cortland Fossil Creek for going on 3 years and just extended our lease by another 15 months. We absolutely love the management and maintenance staff. David, the maintenance supervisor, is excellent and extremely polite. Add that on to the gorgeous apartment, great amenities, and perfect location…it’s a WIN!!

I have amended this review due to the staff. So far, the staff have been amazing. My wife & I have run into a few issues living here as shown by pictures below. We have had 3 leaks since we have lived here that has ruined some pretty expensive stuff, however, staff has been quick to fix all issues each time. Next, we have had quite a few people park in our reserved parking and they seemingly never get towed. Whether they move or the process of getting the tow truck here takes too long, they have yet to get towed. You will run into things living here, no place is perfect. That being said, I can assure you that it will always get addressed if you bring it up to staff.

We had previously wanted to lease with a different Cortland campus, however we fell in love with Fossil Creek and the PEOPLE working there. Ciara Arthur was truly a gem and someone we’ll forever remember. She made moving into our first apartment together, special. I want to share what a constant pleasure it is to have a maintenance staff as professional, courteous, and effective as the people here. First, the grounds and the landscaping are all impeccably maintained, and the garbage pickup is always on time. But personally, it's the attention to my service calls that is outstanding. I hardly have problems, but when there is something I need, light bulbs or air filters changed or whatever, I place a service order and usually someone is at my door within a few hours. Once I had a problem with sewage water from another apartment backing up in my sink. I called after hours service, and the gentleman came out within an hour, even though it was late in the evening. He then called in the plumber, who also came out right away, even though it was after 11:00 PM. And every member of the staff that has attended me in the three years I've been here has been professional, competent, and friendly. And on top of all that, they are really conscientious about COVID-19 prevention measur

Ashley is so thoughtful! She saw me struggling to help someone who is not from the community the other day and said "Hey Alycia" then continued to help this guest. I had not spoken with Ashley in MONTHS!! to hear that she remembered me and my name was just so heartwarming and kind. You don't see that too often anymore. We love our 2 bedroom home and couldn't be more happy with our time here. The staff is great too! Especially when my fiance broke his ankle, they worked so hard to help us move from the second floor to the first. So great!! We could not have picked a better place for a first home together. The Pandemic has had a big effect on my lively hood. I am a fairly new tenant here at the property I believe I have been here since August of this year. However I lost my job due to the pandemic I recently found employment after being UE for 8 months. Stacy the property manager was definitely Heaven sent. Stacy was very concerned about my situation and was very informative about programs that offered assistance. Stacy was also about to provide me with a fresh start and for that I am truly grateful for her sensitivity to my needs etc. People don't have to be nice and I'm glad her morals and extreme professionalism was present. When we were apartment hunting, as soon as we came to Cortland Fossil Creek, we knew this was the right place to live!! It was so much better than all the other complexes we looked at in every respect. Very clean complex and we like the aesthetic of the buildings. We worked with Ciara in the leasing office, and she has been so amazing! The best level of customer service I've experienced. So personable and upbeat! She was very helpful and patient with us with doing all the leasing forms online. We just moved in but so far are very pleased with the unit itself--well kept up and feels spacious!

One of the most beautiful apartments/community’s in this area there is so much amenities and things to do around here, with two dog parks, two resort style pools, a golf course nearby the community is just so beautiful it’s like eye candy as apartments. The inside of the apartments are very beautiful and very modern very spacious as well, I highly recommend Cortland at Fossil Creek and how can you not forget the amazing staff they are so considerate and let you know everything before coming here these people actually care about you and your family, good pricing as well especially for above and beyond like luxury living I love it here and so does my wife, definitely the best around!!

I recently moved in to the Cortland Fossil Creek apartments and I am thoroughly impressed! My apartment was immaculate with new carpet and fixtures throughout ! The apartment is very spacious and the building i stay in is very quiet and the neighbors are friendly. I want to give a special shoutout to I’Brian who is one of the staff members there. He was very hospitable and helped me with my garage and also made sure that the path was clear for the moving truck to park temporarily so I can move in my stuff! He always has a smile and willing to help when I see him. Thank you again I’Brian.

My boyfriend and I moved in on August 1st. Stacy was nothing but helpful! It was my boyfriend and I’d first apartment and she helped us so much and made the move so smoothly. They are really great when it comes to satisfying the people that live in the apartment building. We needed maintenance and they were able to fix the problem within that day! Another great thing is the pool! There pool and gym are very up to date. Definitely recommend!
