I have loved living here: great quality of living, I have a great view, maintenance and leasing office staff are very efficient and nice. However.... I have been disappointed that the amenities are not accessible. For 2 months of early summer the pool and the room sun deck have been completely closed. The local staff like Cameron have been transparent and are doing their best, but 2 months of summer without a pool for an "above and beyond" apartment building does not seem like what I was advertised when I signed my lease. I rented an apartment without a real patio because of the amenities and yet I don't have access to them. Overall, I would definitely still recommend living here, but don't expect the extras to be accessible.

I’ve been living here for a year and absolutely love the plan! Staff is super nice and works with you when you need accommodations or any help. Their monthly games and activities are super engaging. My Thermostat died in the middle of the night, I put in a service request for the repair and within a few hours maintenance personnel Paul and Lavertus was there to fix the problem and made sure my A/C was blowing fine. I really appreciate the promptness during this very warm weather.

I’ve lived in the cortland apartments twice, both times a highlight on my experience continuing to date is the excellent customer service by the skilled maintenance employees of the building. Every time I’ve needed anything it’s been timely, diligent and understanding work. I have never had a bad experience, and to highlight a name L. Hall, has been incredibly accommodating and careful with my service animals as a wonderful side note. Thanks team !

Everyone is very kind throughout the building. The staff is extremely helpful and quick to address any situations. It does smell like smoke often times, but I know that the staff is trying to work on that since it is a smoke-free facility. There are plenty of amenities to utilize too.

Everything about the leasing process was easy and stress-free. I really felt like everyone in the leasing office did their best to find the right unit for me. I’ve been here for a couple of months now and it’s been great. They also have regular community events, I just need to do a better job about making it to them, but they all seem creative and like they would be a lot of fun.

I did not end up signing to live here, but I wanted to circle back and provide a review as I went through the process with Cortland East to apply and live here. I worked with Kloe and several other staff. There were some hiccups and things didn’t go perfectly, but Kloe, her team, and colleagues, went above and beyond to work with me and make sure I was happy. They made up for the hiccups and I greatly appreciated their willingness to stand by their brand, and make things right to the best they could.

It’s not the worst apartment I’ve stayed in, but also not the best. I like the interior of my unit as well as the proximity to my job/downtown. I haven’t taken advantage of the amenities, but hope to do so soon. My only issues are the traffic to and from the loading dock in front of my apartment and cleanliness of the trash chute room.

Jeremy came by today to service the HVAC - less than a few hours after I put in my service request, and it's already sorted. This has consistently been the case. Sad to have to leave, but would recommend the complex to anyone.

I lived here for a year and half and the leasing office staff, maintenance and cleaning staff are all very professional, responsive, and kind. Every time I had an issue or repair needed, maintenance arrived within a couple hours if urgent and within a day if not urgent. The leasing office staff organizes regular fun events and get togethers for residents, which helped my family and I to make connections with other residents and form a community when I moved here from out of state. The apartments themselves are comfortable and well insulated. The public spaces, including the gym, pool, and public gathering spaces, are clean and well maintained. My kids and I enjoyed living here.

I've lived at Decatur East for 2 1/2 years now and have loved it. My service requests are generally completed same day and the communication is great from the office team. I moved to the area because of the school system and the close proximity to the city and all that downtown Decatur has to offer. I made a great choice and would recommend this community to all!

My husband and I have lived here for about 8 months, and we decided we needed a bigger space. Anya was so accommodating in letting us tour open apartments on short notice! We ended up transferring to a larger unit, and the transition was as smooth as it could have been. Cortland has been a wonderful stay for my husband and I in Decatur. The neighbors are kind, the facilities are top notch, and the location is perfectly located close enough to downtown Decatur to get there by walking but far enough away that it is not too congested.

I've lived at Cortland Decatur East for two years now and I have no plans on leaving! I love my apartment and the amenities the community has (including the Burn Boot Camp and salon downstairs). I feel safe walking around the area and enjoy the proximity to both Avondale and Downtown Decatur. Cannot brag enough on the office staff (shout out Leida, Anya, Sidney!) and service team enough. When my car battery unexpectedly died, the service tech Jeremy personally pushed my car for me so it could be jumped. Would 100% recommend leasing here. You will love it!

First of all, let me mention how wonderful and helpful the front desk staff is. We received the tour of a lifetime from Dedra Cross, who made it entertaining and informative. Dedra assisted my husband and me throughout the entire process of moving from California to Georgia. Without her, I don't believe we could have managed. We have already been living in this community for two weeks, and I have no regrets whatsoever. The halls are kept clean and odor-free, and the communal rooms are always kept tidy. The gym is fantastic and open around-the-clock! Excellent price and location!

Cortland Decatur East has provided the best apartment complex experience I've had for several reasons: 1. The staff are very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Including the cleaning/maintenance people (those that aren't expected to do so) 2. The apartment design is amazing (modern-minimalist yet sleek and welcoming. Blue-grey happens to be my favorite color so that's a +1 from me). 3. The complex is safe, secure, and inviting. 4. The events offered for the residents are awesome (yoga, bingo night (still trying to decide how to style the throw blanket I won :) and more). 5. If there's an issue, it's fixed right away. I once had to call at 1:30am, fully expecting to not have the issue resolved until days later (which is normal at any other complex I've lived in) but was pleasantly surprised when a maintenance person showed up 45 mins later and resolved the issue and was nice about it. In summary, Cortland Decatur East is my favorite complex all around, and I would recommend it to anyone, as long as they want to

I've lived at Cortland Decatur East for over a year and I absolutely love this complex. From day 1 the staff has been wonderful, attentive, and fun. They are caring and understanding and will help you when you need it. My neighbors are respectable, kind, and active within the community. The best thing about the complex is the maintenance staff. Jeremy is knowledgeable, attentive, and skilled at what he does. It's because of him, I do not worry about my maintenance request because I know he'll work on it and follow up with you to make sure it continues to work. up Now, one of the most CONS of living at Cortland Decatur East is that amenities are not open 24hours except the Gym. They have a beautiful sky lounge that looks over downtown Decatur and you can see downtown ATL or Stone Mountain. However, I believe management will make a change time soon.

ANYA quickly responded to my email in regards to extra storage spaces available. Now my mind is soooo at ease. Everything fits neatly in it! I couldn't be happier here. Also I spoke to a young lady, I didn't catch her name but a few days before my move, I called her last minute in regards to changing my day to use the service elevator...she was sooo kind and accommodating. I've had a great experience with the management team at Cortland Decatur. I managed to get the property lease organized while I was still living the United Kingdom. Dalia Maisonet was absolutely brilliant in her service and was very helpful running through apartment options and taking videos and photos for my remote selection of the apartment. My move to the apartment and living at Cortland Decatur has been wonderful so far and the amenities are great and also very convenient walk to the shops and easy commute to the city on the MARTA. I highly recommend Dalia, if you want to discuss options for your new property lease.

The leasing agent dailia is awesome, if you're looking for a beautiful, quite, and convenient place to live you should move here. Cortland is one of the largest if not largest multi-family apartment homes in ga and this one here is a top tier. So many amenities and bonuses to living here. Pricy but that's the market right now.

My family and I moved from a home to apartment living back in June and I must say that I had my reservations, but Dalia Maisonet was wonderful during the entire process of finding the right apartment home for our family of three. She never seemed rushed when we had questions or concerns, and her pleasant personality gave me a peace of mind. Our family love our apartment, and the quality of care and service is top notch. Cortland makes everyone feel like family and they never hesitate to show appreciation to their tenants, from occasional free breakfast treats, wine tastings, and casual meet and greets, which delivers a message of gratitude and care for those they serve. I truly appreciate the any time conversations with Dalia and her team, and the feeling of home that's communicated. I am not easy to please, but I would highly recommend any apartment seeker to check out Cortland Decatur East and ask for Dalia. She will definitely take care of you.

Very impressed with my experience checking out this property. Genuinely helpful leasing team that answered any questions I had with real authenticity. They showed the cared about me as more than just a prospective tenant. Really like the location, Decatur is a great spot. Close to Atlanta while still being a step away from the craziness of the city. All the amenities you could hope for. Would recommend to anyone checking out apartments in the ATL area!

Cortland Decatur is an amazing property! The amenities are great and well maintained. Its also very quiet and I appreciate that as someone who works from home. You are also walking distance to plenty of restaurants. My leasing agent was Dalia, she’s very knowledge, flexible and very accommodating. Dalia was an absolute pleasure to tour with and she made my move in process smooth from start to finish. I highly recommend this community to anyone considering moving to the Decatur area! Ask for Dalia. She will continue to help you even after you move in. Dalia honestly responds to every email within 24 hours. The property is inviting, beautiful, and always clean. I could not say any enough good things about this place! My apartment is beyond my expectation, and well equipped. The neighborhood is quiet and accessible to a lot of places, like a credit union, a boot camp, restaurants, the post office, and train station. The staff has been so wonderful especially Dalia!

I’ve been living at Cortland Decatur East for about a year and a half now. The leasing team has changed a few times since I’ve been here, but they all provided wonderful customer service. The current team members that I’ve interacted with are Dalia and Anya and they’ve both been responsive, helpful and very pleasant. I met the manager once (Ledalis I believe) and she was also very helpful with an issue I needed resolved. The service team has also been great - Paul, Glen and Tim are who I’ve dealt with an they’ve all been very professional and pleasant. The grounds are kept well, pest control is great and it’s an overall very nice community to live in. I had family visiting here for the Thanksgiving holiday and they loved it here. I really don’t have anything negative to say - I’ve mentioned this in a different review previously, the only issue is some of the tenants that live here. Some are noisy, while others are not very clean and from time to time will leave trash or recyclables in places they don’t belong

Let me first say that this was the absolute best experience my girlfriend and I have had touring apartments. We were greeted by Anya who was warm, inviting, and most importantly listened to our needs. We felt respected and heard. She has worked on our behalf and has been a great communicator through the process. I would recommend Anya and the property as well.

I am a resident Cortland Decatur East. The service team here provides exceptional service. Since I moved into the community this past May, my experience with all team members has been great. They are always responsive and professional, even when I have encountered after-hours problems. Also, my primary office contact, Tyler Whitener also provides excellent customer service. I toured with Yaya this past weekend and she took her time to show me all the floorplans I'm interested in and walked me through the amenities even though I don't have a set move in date yet. Great customer service, modern finishes, and awesome lay outs! Keep it up!

Two words when it comes to Cortland Decatur East's Leasing Consultant YaYa (Yasmine) and that's The Best! She's super attentive & she made every moment count during my tour--even when I got ahead of the process by trying to check out the pool. :-) She really made an effort to find a space to meet my desired requirements. And even though present availability doesn't quite align with those yet, YaYa's diligence and organic follow up has been amazing. She's a true asset to the team!

I am soooo happy I came here to search for an apartment. The first time I arrived, Tyler spoke with me and let me just say he's pretty awesome. We ended up scheduling a tour and my spouse came with me after he got off work. We absolutely LOVED it. Tyler definitely made the tour experience worth it and shared some helpful information about the community, amenities, restaurants, application and move in process. Our experience was absolutely amazing! By the way, the apartments are BEAUTIFUL inside and everything is brand new. Nicole also assisted me during the application process and was so helpful! She answered any questions I had and made the application process easy as well! Like seriously, I feel like this community deserves more attention and praise. Overall, I'm thrilled to say we'll be moving in next month : ) Thank you!!

I have been here a little over 2 months and must admit, the staff have been so caring and concern about my transition. They have addressed all my issues and placed top priority on them. I would like to mention Nicole (who has been fabulous) took me from point A to living in my comfort home, Ashley the (manager) who has/have been so gracious in my comfort here at Cortland in making things happen. I would be amiss not to mention Tyler and ReAnne who greeting and loving personality makes me and my friends feel like family. Kevin (maintenance) makes all attempts to address my issues to the best of his ability. Sometimes time is not on his side and understandably so. We all have limitation in the work place which place some things out of our control, and Kevin with his soft polite demeanor always make you feel like I/you matter.
