I cant believe how much better this place has gotten. I actually saw Julie cleaning grills outside and painting different areas of the community. It seems like she does it all. The guys are always running around. they seem super busy all the time. VERY rare to see this from employees.

Living here has honestly been one of the best decisions I’ve made. From the moment I moved in, everything just felt right. The community is peaceful, the amenities are always clean and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere feels safe and welcoming. What really makes this place special is the management and staff—they truly care especially Jesus. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed help, they’ve been quick, professional, and kind. It’s rare to find a place where you feel valued as a resident, but this is definitely one of them. It’s more than just an apartment—it feels like home. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a great living experience.

Me and my girlfriend have lived in this community for 4 years. It is overall a solid place to live. The neighborhood is quiet with tons of stuff close to walk to. The neighborhood behind up to cheeseman park is quiet and beautiful. Maintenance here is awesome as well. We always try to find something better when lease end comes up but we keep renewing because we haven't found anything close to comparable for price/ amenities.

Jesus the maintenance guy is great and fast and responsive and very professional and kind. I can always count on him to get a work order completed fast. Jason the community Manager has been helpful and professional and helped me fix my ledger amount. Julie the head manager has been professional and kind. Jamie the leasing office person has been professional and kind during my interactions with her and when I come into the office with questions. My children and I have enjoyed the pool and grill area often. I am grateful for the convenient gym to workout. My bank is close by and shopping centers. It's is blessing to live here and I get a lot of compliments from guest on the apartment floor plan.

Julie the community manager has really turned this place around. Things are getting fixed and the residents are so grateful! Jesus and Francisco ,the service staff, help in a timely manner with any maintenance issues. I would recommend my friends or family to live here! There’s also restaurants near by like Blanco that are amazing and a nice movie theater too.

I love the place, it's very nice and pleasant. I love the pool area and the gym they have, it's very useful. I can do all my exercises without any problem. When you have a problem, the leasing office team solves it for you super fast. It's a good place to live for at least 2 or 3 years.

UPDATE 10/14/25: I appreciate Julie and her team, as these last few weeks/months, communication from the team has improved greatly. They have regularly been addressing my concerns and have been more communicative as a whole regarding any issues/updates on the property. The garage door has finally been replaced completely, so I have much more peace of mind. While there have still been some car break-ins, they have been happening far less and the team has been open about sharing the steps they are taking to ensure our safety. *** I have been living at this complex for about two years now. When I first moved in, things were great. The management team was responsive, communicative, and quick to solve issues that came up. For the last year now, things have quickly gone downhill. As many others have mentioned, the fire alarms go off so frequently. Often in the middle of the night, but frequently during the day and I work from home. I have been interrupted during meetings because of the fire alarms multiple times. P

I originally left a very negative 1-star review due to ongoing issues and poor communication under the previous management. But I’m happy to update this review because since Julie became the new community manager, things have genuinely turned around. Julie has brought a fresh, hands-on approach that the community really needed. She listens to resident concerns, communicates clearly, and most importantly, takes action. When I reported off-leash dogs roaming the property, she quickly reinforced the leash policy with multiple emails — and I haven’t seen an unleashed dog in weeks. Another major concern was the broken garage door, which had been out of service for six months under the previous manager. During that time, my car window was smashed — a very unsettling experience. Once Julie stepped in, the garage door was repaired quickly, and when some break-ins continued, she arranged for courtesy security patrols at night. We moved in a month ago and have have really loved our experience so far! The staff have been very quick to get back to us to help resolve any concerns/issues. We really love our unit, and the pool and fitness center are great bonuses. We were a little concerned reading some Google reviews about fire alarms going off, but we have had had absolutely no issues with this since moving in. The location has also been great! A ton within walking distance, but still a residential feel.

I want to give a big shoutout to Julie, the new manager at Congress Park Apartments. She’s been fantastic. She is friendly, responsive, and truly dedicated to improving the community. In just a few months, we’ve seen noticeable positive changes around the complex thanks to her efforts. She listens to residents and takes concerns seriously, which makes a big difference. The maintenance team, Anthony and Jesus, are also excellent. They work hard to keep the property in great shape and are always helpful. Overall, a big improvement and much appreciated!

There’s been some IT issues throughout the process, but Julie and Alex at the front desk have been more than willing to help make things work every step of the way. I also had some issues with my washing machine, which was fixed within 24 hours by Jesus. Overall, the staff have been great and I’m happy to be here 1

Julie has always been so helpful. I have lived at the Cortland at Congress Park for 3+ years and since Julie has taken over it has gotten even better! I’ve always loved living here and have never had any issues. If you’re looking for a clean, safe, smooth move in, great maintenance apartment this is the place for you. I have put in several maintenance requests over the last week, and he has come within 24 hours, and in one instance, within 10 minutes! Very friendly and helpful. Jesus is great, too! Update 6 months in. The new team here consists of Alex, Anthony, and Jesus and I really think they are trying to turn things around! But you see that I mentioned there are only 3 people running this property. I think it's turning around but please hire more workers to run this many apartments. Edit after living here for 4 months. The leasing team tries to care but management does nothing to back them. Do not live here unless you expect to routinely be woken up by maintenance projects starting with leaf blowers and other loud equipment every morning. No exaggerating. Facts documented over months and supposedly Mitch from the company's internal landscaping division has no power since it's still happening. I've tried to avoid changing this and airing for the Internet. I have give the opportunity to correct it, nothing has happened, and I am desperate from lack of sleep. You've been warned. We are really enjoying our time here at Cortland Congress Park! The location is amazing and the recent renovations are lovel
