Update 6 months in. The new team here consists of Alex, Anthony, and Jesus and I really think they are trying to turn things around! But you see that I mentioned there are only 3 people running this property. I think it's turning around but please hire more workers to run this many apartments. Edit after living here for 4 months. The leasing team tries to care but management does nothing to back them. Do not live here unless you expect to routinely be woken up by maintenance projects starting with leaf blowers and other loud equipment every morning. No exaggerating. Facts documented over months and supposedly Mitch from the company's internal landscaping division has no power since it's still happening. I've tried to avoid changing this and airing for the Internet. I have give the opportunity to correct it, nothing has happened, and I am desperate from lack of sleep. You've been warned. I enjoy living here! The apartments are beautifully designed and management is responsive. It’s great to have covered parking, and the amenities are excellent. The neighborhood is fantastic. So far, aside from traffic noise from Colorado Blvd., it’s quiet and peaceful.

We are really enjoying our time here at Cortland Congress Park! The location is amazing and the recent renovations are lovely. Seriously, there is a Trader Joe's across the street and an adorable neighborhood with restaurants the other way! Best of convenience and a neighborhood feel. The thing that helps make it feel like a home is the kind team and quiet friendly vibe. We had a couple little things in the apartment that need to be addressed including an accidental overflow (on our end) and Josue did an amazing job! He addressed everything quickly and is a wizard at dry wall! We are happy to call this our new home thanks to the team. We personally have worked with Claudia, Arlena, & Josue I and I want to shout out how friendly and amazing they all are! Thank you!

I’ve been here a month and I am enjoying my new home. The appliances are new and gorgeous and everything works well. The tiny maintenance issues I’ve had have been addressed quickly and well. The floor I’m on is very quiet in regards to neighbors. The one thing I’d love to be different is a lack of stairs in the hallways - it makes getting more than one or two grocery bags in and out from the parking garage really hard (or two elevator trips and lots of walking). Aside from that, the location is amazing, the interior design is beautiful, and the office staff helpful and friendly.

Wow. The office staff has been a refreshing surprise. Both Arlena & Claudia take the time to listen to my problems & complaints. When something needs fixing they arrange for the maintenance staff to take care of it promptly. And they follow up to make sure that I'm completely satisfied. I know the past 12 months have been difficult with the renovations & remodeling, but I'm happy to say that I've decided to renew my lease for another year. The improvements are noticeable & much appreciated. 👍👍

Where can I start with Cortland at Congress Park? I was in the process of moving from Buffalo NY to Denver and only had 3 days to look at apartments. I didn't have an appointment with Cortland at CP but after some calls they were more than willing to work around getting me a tour. Alondra was more than happy to tour me around and she even got me into see the apartment I would applying for since renovations were happening at this time. As my move in date got closer, Alondra was more than helpful and responsive with any and all questions I had. Even during move in she was going to stay a little late just so I got my keys, thankfully my lead foot got me there quicker than anticipated. During my stay everything has been amazing. All my service orders are completed timely, the neighborhood is exactly what I want, and the staff is so warm and inviting. I encourage anyone looking for a place to come here and check it out! Cortland Congress Park is an amazing place to live!! Very friendly staff who throw fun events to get the community engagement going!! The newly renovated apartments are very functional and the atmosphere is very open and clean. If there are any issues, their maintenance team is quick to help out. The building is located close to restaurants, bars, parks, and grocery stores. Most importantly in a safe neighborhood! I have lived here for almost two years now and highly recommend this apartment building.

Cortland Congress Park is in a great location. Our dog absolutely loves the two amazing parks in walkable distance, the food and bar scene is great, and the security of the apartment makes us feel very safe. The office staff is very helpful, from moving stressors to everyday needs they are on top of it (shoutout to Alex and Evelyn). The Cortland company really makes you feel like a community with their great newsletters and several monthly events and contests they arrange for an inclusive and fun time. Best apartment I’ve ever lived in and would highly recommend to friends!

Lastly the gym has been under construction for a long time, with no clear reopening date.

I have really loved my time living at Cortland Congress Park! I knew the layout of the apartments from friends who had lived here in the past, and the management has been incredible since I moved in in June of 2022. It sounds like the previous management may have let things get really bad, but the responsiveness, flexibility, and diligence of the new managers is incredibly. I've loved every encounter with them. They've been doing a lot of work to improve the building and remodel units, but I haven't experienced any challenges or annoyances from construction. My apartment is ridiculously spacious and tranquil and my neighbors are kind and keep to themselves. I feel lucky to have a home this big at my price point!

Update: I'm thrilled to say that the new management company has really stepped up in an unprecedented way. The people working in the office are kind, thoughtful and helpful. They have put some serious love into this place. While the hot tub was unrecoverable, the updates to the pool area, common areas, hallways and general community experience have been perfect!! New, beautiful furniture, new landscaping, the pool is always clean and the grills finally work again... It's like a new place. I asked for help with things broken in my apartment that the previous management company basically told me to "get over it". This new management has updated anything I've needed with a smile. I can tell the maintenance team, who have been here the whole time, are happier too and that matters to me (as it should anyone). The directory is finally fixed and I can allow people into the building as necessary, safely. The parking garage is safe, new mailboxes, clea, well lit hallways. I'm a very happy resident. Since Cortland took over management at Colorado Pointe, they have made a lot of upgrades such as remodeled the pool area with new features and furniture, landscaping, new gate equipment, parking arrangements, new security patrol, updated website features, fixed building fire alarm and new maintenance and front office staff. The maintenance team is quick to respond to requests and does a great job at fixing any issues. The front office staff is friendly, welcoming and accommodating to residents and their pets. They plan to remodel the fitness center, each apartment as it comes on the market and the hallways. The building is in a great, safe location with restaurants and shopping just across the street with plenty of places to walk your pets safely too. While the building isn't brand new the upgrades, staff and location make it a great place to live with comparable prices to other complexes around town.

Since Cortland has taken over there have been a significant number of improvements, amenities are being redone in a very nice and modern way, all while keeping the price point less than competitors for similar sized units. I'm sure a number of the older reviews will mention the fire alarms going off frequently and I will agree they did, until Cortland took over and fixed the issues that is. Since then I've been working from home for quite some time and have had zero issues during the day or night. Long story short, it's worth a look if you're in the market for a conveniently located, modern apartment complex with good amenities and awesome surroundings.

I have lived here for 3.5 years now. It was bought out by Cortland about a year ago and they have been a wonderful change for this property. The location is amazing with so many new food places going in. The property is finally going through some construction to update some parts of the property as well. The management team has also responded to any questions/requests I have had in a very timely manor and follows up to make sure everything I needed was complete.

The property was always very well kept, the office staff was always super friendly and helpful, and the facilities/amenities were great. I have lived here for 3 years and the previous company never got anything done. Now that Cortland has taken over this apartment complex is amazing to live in. The new apartment manager Evelyn, is one of the main reasons I feel that way. Not only is she extremely efficient and productive at meeting my needs as a tenant, she is a joy to talk to as well. It’s nice to know that when I walk into the office, I will be greeted by this wonderful staff. Highly recommend living here and especially talking to Eve to make you feel comfortable and at home!

I liked our property management before because from where I used to live it was already better. The complex recently got taken over by Cortland and oh my gosh the individuals they hired and put in the office have exceeded my expectations from any property management company. Have a problem? Maybe the person you talked to on the phone can't fix it but someone who can will respond to your issue, and most likely have it fixed, within that day or at least the next morning. There are lights in the parking garage I never knew existed ( I have lived here for over a year) and communication about anything happening in the community is done both via email and with a letter so there is NO WAY you will be surprised. All in all I am super glad I signed another lease with this place.

I’ve been a resident for a little over two years and I’ll be the first to admit I had my share of issues, but since Cortland took over it’s been night and day. Things are actually getting fixed, problems are getting resolved and communication nightmares are a thing of the past. The location is great and is within walking distance of tons of restaurants, coffee shops, bars and shopping - and the neighborhood is quickly expanding. The apartments are reasonably priced and amenities are good. I cannot stress enough how much of a difference the new management has made in less than a month. Keep it up and thank you!
