Cortland Cary has been great! Our corner apartment is top notch and the amenities are really good. As for the staff, the manager (Tiffany) has been nothing but wonderful and David in Maintenance got everything in our apartment fixed very quickly. Definitely recommend this complex.

The amenities are clean and kept up with. I love that they host community events to keep the neighborly vibe alive. And most importantly my dog loves stretching his legs at the dog parks!

We moved into Cortland Cary at the end of April 2025 during a period of transition, and the difference once Ashley and Tiffany stepped in has been night and day. Their attention to customer service and follow-through deserves real recognition. When we raise concerns, things get done — including a dog waste can added to the Phase 2 side within 24 hours. Ashley has been especially intentional about planning events that actually build community, not just check a box. There are regular opportunities for residents to connect, and she’s always open to ideas and feedback about events that would make the community even better. That openness and responsiveness truly stand out. After living in another Triangle community where we never felt welcome in the leasing office, it’s been incredibly refreshing. My dog literally makes a beeline to say hi to Ashley every time we walk by, which says a lot about the atmosphere they’ve created. The staff here at Cortland has been nothing less than exceptional. The manager, Tiffany, has been a great help towards me during the times I needed answers. If she doesn’t know the answer she will do all she can to make sure you receive the correct information. In addition, the maintenance staff consistently makes timely repairs when needed.

We moved to Cortland Cary back in October and have had nothing less of a great experience so far! Tiffany was extremely helpful on move-in day with assisting us with all the questions we had and did a walkthrough of the apartment. Everything was perfect. We recently had a service request that was addressed quickly. Alvaro was very professional and kind. The community is well kept and we are enjoying living here! Great community and staff.

I want to thank Alvaro from the maintenance team for always helping me whenever I have issues with the unit or my key fob! Every time I put in a work order, it gets resolved in 24 hours or less. I moved in to a 1 BR unit this spring and have loved it. I finally had to put in a few service requests last month after waking up to find that my A/C unit had stopped cooling properly. I put in a service request, but given that it was a Saturday morning and the weather was very mild, I assumed I wouldn’t see anybody until Monday. However, by the time I got back from my errands an hour or two later, David had already come by and put a temporary unit in my window. He came back by a few hours later to check on it and take care of a few other small items I had requested, but he was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable the entire time. I’ve had problems in the past at other apartments with the maintenance team leaving damage or a mess in my unit, but it was probably cleaner when David left than it was when he arrived. The staff in the leasing office has also been very helpful on the few occasions that I’ve needed their assistance. The community is nice and quiet, overall a great place to live.

EDIT I received my deposit after some back and forth. They forgot to include the unit number, though my building managers said they never received any email for me without a building number 🤷‍♂️ Biggest issue I have is that they failed to notify me of deposit charges 30 days after move-out or refund me my deposit before the maximum 60 days after move-out, which is against our contract and in violation of NC law as I provided the office with my new address. Currently trying to get my deposit back. No response as of 1 week from my query (more than 3 months after move-out). Will update this when I get a resolution. Property is nice, staff are nice, maintanance was phenominal. Pool is nice, though the lights at the pool have been broken for over a year, leading to the pool area being dark at night. The package room door was persistently broken and insecure throughout my years there with seemingly no plans to fix it (as well as when I moved out in January 2025). The building has some roaches outside near the pool

Very nice spot, love the apartments, they have about 6 EV ChargePoint chargers (free) and ample parking, very walkable community and they offer carport style garages for an extra fee
