I have been a resident here since July 2023. the apartments are amazing, great natural light, close to shopping centers, what else??? Oh, also Madison and Shantel are the embodiment of great customer service. I call them my BFF’s. The icing on the cake is their assistant manager, Mikhail. That guy is hilarious and seems to actually love his job. Please give them all a raise LOL. Keep doing what you’re doing, y’all!

Cortland Brier Creek gets 5 stars plus!!! I'n an elementary teacher who recently relocated to NC from Michigan. I had the chance to tour several apartment communities before making the decision to make my new home at Cortland Brier Creek. The level of "personalized" customer service that was provided to me-made my transition both seamless and organized! Madison communicated with me consistently from the very beginning to the actual moving process. My actual move-in day was top tier due to the manager, Mikhail coming in and saving the entire day! He went above and beyond his call of duty to ensure that I was actually able to move in along with my furniture and utilities setup. He was even willing to stay and wait for my furniture to arrive! I am so excited about being a part of this community and look forward to living here as I start my new life in North Carolina. Thanks AGAIN Madison and Mikhail!!

We love it here! My wife and I recently moved in and have no complaints so far. The staff and leasing team are very friendly and helpful. They helped make the move-in process smooth and seamless. They answered all of our questions and concerns along the way and worked with us and our hectic moving schedule with dates having to constantly change. We were shocked at how quiet, peaceful and clean the community is. Luckily we moved in at a great time during the new Cortland renovations so all the appliances and amenity areas are brand new. We are happy to be here and excited to see for what’s to come at Cortland Brier Creek in the next few months/year.

I have ONLY good things to say about the grounds/maintenance staff at this complex. Whenever I have a service request, they have always responded expeditiously to fix WHATEVER. If I'm outside, any of the staff I see are always cordial and willing to take the time to answer any questions I might have. I especially appreciate Austin, Jeremy and Isaac for ALWAYS being so professional and thorough ANYTIME something needs to be done. They all really have a wealth-of-knowledge and/or experience; no matter the task!

Samantha was attentive, kind and helpful giving us a tour and guiding us through the leasing process. After my kids all moved out, I recently sold my house and decided to downgrade to an apartment. After an extensive search, I landed at Cortland at Brier Creek. I absolutely love this place. The application and leasing process was quick and easy, I was in a place within a week from applying. My leasing agent, Mikhail, was amazing! He had a great sense of urgency and made sure I felt welcome and cared for. It is obvious that Mikhail loves what he does! The amenities are amazing as well: plenty of parking, picnic areas, ample walking paths, dog park (they are VERY dog friendly), large refurbished swimming pool and a fully functional gym (that is currently under remodel, but will save me money on my current membership when it is completed with new state of the art equipment). I have been living here for 8 years +, under the old management company. Since Cortland took over and when we signed a new lease three months ago, we have had the best apartment living experience we've ever had. Anytime we put in a service request the maintenance team responds the same day and gets the work done in a timely fashion. The team is always prompt, courteous, respectful and provide excellent customer service! I am happy that I get the Cortland experience! When my husband and I first moved to the property in Brier Creek, it was under different management. Unfortunately our first intial days, and months at the property was a nightmare. After several months of being dissatisfied with our choice to sign our lease, Cortland took over the property. What an awesome difference! With this change we saw immediate improvements in customer service, property upgrades were made, maintenance requests were handled in a timely manner, and most importantly Cortland has created a sense of community by hosting events and ensuring that residents are happy with their living experience. Anytime we go into the office, the management team is eager to meet our needs. A special thank you to Mikhail for always taking the extra needed time to ensure that our family is doing well and keeping us updated. We are truly happy with our stay and we are looking forward to enjoying all the new amenities!

Just moved in to Brier Creek this week and it is all because of Jessica M. I was supposed to move to another community and it did not work out. Upon messaging her she was super responsive and helpful and got me into an apartment right away. There were a few hiccups a long the way, but everything worked out and I was able to get into an apartment that I love and feel comfortable with. I have a one bedroom that has a wonderful size bedroom, separate laundry room, open kitchen and living room, and outside storage. What I love too as it includes cable and internet for a low bundled fee every month which is super easy to sign up for and use. I cannot wait to see what will happen this year! Having a comfortable and cool place is what I want and it is what I feel like I received. One minus for the loud construction occurring around me. They warned me a little bit about it upon moving in, but it is much louder and annoying than I expected. I will be happy when it stops! Otherwise I am loving where I live. Big thank y

You’ll love Cortland Brier Creek for many reasons. The front office crew is great and the service team is above par. Any maintenance issues are addressed within 12 hours. Friendly people all around. A very quiet, comfortable place to live.

Updated review from 1 star to 5. I Was very upset , as it was my first summer here, and the pool wasn’t open the whole summer. Since, changing management companies, I must say Cortland has really stepped up, and are making this a much more pleasant experience. Big shout out to Mikhail “allways helpful, pleasant and professional” and to Emily for making time to address my concerns. Keep up the great work guys

Everyone knows that relocating can be a stressful and lengthy process! I honestly can say that thanks to their leasing staff member JESSICA I feel so much better, and so much stress has been taking off of me! Firstly, Jessica literally stayed on the phone with me for over 30 minutes and addressed all of my questions to the T! She also provided an explanation and solution for any concern I had. As we all know, sometimes good customer service can go out the window when dealing with major properties. Every Cortland associate I've encountered has been very pleasant and helpful. The maintenance here is amazing!!! Super friendly, and helpful. They’re willing to help with anything (even if you remember little things when they’re only here for a light bulb 😜) An issue with my water heater? It’s being replaced no problem. Ever since Cortland has taken over our residence, they have worked so hard to pick up the pieces that have been ignored. They hosted a pool party before the end of the pool season, after they quickly rehabbed the pool from the off season. It was such a great time! Mikhail, Jessica, Samantha and Emily are a great leasing staff and since they have been here have taken care of us with anything we have needed.

Since taking over the complex, we've seen the property really being spruced up! A clean and sparkly pool, much better landscaping, and power washing of common areas and walkways. The maintenance staff is wonderful: courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. The office staff is likewise prompt and courteous.

I happened too stop by since it was in this fabulous location, I popped on in to the leasing office and I was welcome by Samantha Pierce. She was intuitive, listen to what. I was interested in which was a 2/b 2/bth. She explained application fee, how everything is paperless, and what was included as far as amenities. Super happy Cortland now manages the Brier Creek location. I have been here for 7 years, and just in the last month or so I have seen tremendous improvements throughout the community. I don't expect everything to be fixed over night, but they are diligent about getting things completed in a timely manner, and they take pride in the service the provide to the residents. The office and maintenence staff are very nice and pleasant to work with. Their communication is superb and updates are 100% better than the last company. Thanks Cortland!
