My experience has been wonderful from start to finish. I was helped by the lovely Abril, even on days the office was closed she’s always extremely responsive. I originally wanted an apartment with a backyard, at the time I applied there were none available but she was very communicative with updating me on availability and because of that I was able to get the apartment I wanted! The community is clean, quiet, and maintenance has always responded promptly to my requests.

The maintenance supervisor Jermaine helped me out one day when I was in a pinch. Our power went out, and I could not access my garage and he happened to be onsite and got me in so I could make it to church. It made my day and really appreciated his help. I absolutely love this complex. I recently moved here, and it has been amazing! My search was limited as I own a German shepherd and I was so happy this community allows them! During my apartment search the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcomed, but Abril was an absolute gem. She helped me through the entire process and every time I see her she always makes conversation! I would recommend this complex to anyone!

I love living here! The community is quiet, amenities are beautiful, very friendly staff, and I love that my german shepherd Milo can live happily here. Close to so many stores and shopping. The only reason I took off a star is because I wish they would come out and clean the stairs/hallways and outside of the building. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

I put in a maintenance request for my AC around 11:00 PM, and Jay, the maintenance supervisor, showed up within 10 minutes—talk about fast service! He quickly diagnosed the issue with my thermostat, got it fixed, and took the time to explain exactly what was going on. He also let me know he’d come by the next day to double-check the outside unit to make sure everything’s running smoothly. Really appreciate the quick response and professionalism. Thanks again, Jay!

Looking for a new home is terrifying, but Cortland Brier Creek couldn’t have made it more easier! Cortland brier creeks apartments are absolutely beautiful. Their modern style with their top of the line appliances give the place such a refreshing feel, with the perfect balance of cozy and spacious. The amenities are also wonderful. With a beautiful pool and open area that makes a great place to spend quality time with the family. As well as wonderful 24/7 gym. But what made it all so great was our agent Cristiana Diaz. She was wonderful, prompt, and so informative! She answered all my questions and listened to what I was looking for in a home and made all the great recommendations that fit my needs. This is such a great place to live. The property is well managed, quiet and clean. The staff in the leasing office do their jobs. However, the leasing consultant who sits at the desk when you first enter is not friendly. She's very antisocial. Honestly, I don't go to the office for the coffee machine because of this. It just feels awkward. DILLON. ON THE OTHER HAND, IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST PERSON WHO WORKS HERE!!!! He's the maintenance man. Unlike the leasing consultant, HE'S VERY FRIENDLY AND RESPECTFUL. HE'S PROFESSIONAL AND SPARKS UP A CONVERSATION WHILE HELPING OTHERS. Hands down, he's THE BEST person, in my opinion, who works for this property. This community is quiet and clean. The apartments are beautiful with state of the art appliances. I love living here based on all of these factors. That's why I give this place 4 stars. As it pertains to the staff in the leasing office, I am not happy. Due to an incident that occurred 2 months ago, I have not felt as welcomed as I did initially. It was when I asked the assistant manager if he would change the channel in the gym. I didn't want to watch crime while working out. Instead of honoring my request, he gave a sarcastic remark. He went on to change the channel but quickly reminded me that he would turn it back when I left. Wow. All of that attitude for a tenant who pays on time. The lady in the office is just as cold. She is very antisocial. She doesn't greet you when you walk in. She pays more attention to her cellphone and computer screen than the tenant. We had a wonderful experience with Briar Creek Apartments, and a big part of that was thanks to Shyanne. A family member recently moved from New York to Raleigh, and after touring nine apartment complexes, we found Briar Creek to be the perfect fit for our needs. Shyanne was an absolute gem throughout the process. She was pleasant, relaxed, and represented the organization with professionalism and care. During our initial visit, she made us feel welcome and informed. Later, when we requested an online tour of another unit, she was more than accommodating. What truly stood out was her responsiveness. This is a nice apartment complex. Mickal and Shantell are very nice with the moving process very knowledgeable I love it here already , we have only been here 5 days and they are quick and responsive. Joseph from maintenance was nice and came quick after we politely asked for our water temperture to go higher because I love hot water and he finished it in a quick and efficient timely manner , very helpful as well🙏🏿. For our own personal reasons, my wife and I were skeptical leading up to moving in this past week. For context, my wife had to relocate to Raleigh for work, and we coordinated our move from a different Cortland property in Georgia (an amazing property called Cortland North Brookhaven). With that being said, without ever seeing our unit, we had to coordinate a move and a new lease with the Cortland Brier Creek Team remotely. After moving in this past week, we are ecstatic. We communicated the living situation that we were hoping for to Greg, Mikhail, and Shantel. To say that they all did an incredible job would be an understatement. We love it here! My wife and I recently moved in and have no complaints so far. The staff and leasing team are very friendly and helpful. They helped make the move-in process smooth and seamless. They answered all of our questions and concerns along the way and worked with us and our hectic moving schedule with dates having to constantly change. We were shocked at how quiet, peaceful and clean the community is. Luckily we moved in at a great time during the new Cortland renovations so all the appliances and amenity areas are brand new. We are happy to be here and excited to see for what’s to come at Cortland Brier Creek in the next few months/year.

I have ONLY good things to say about the grounds/maintenance staff at this complex. Whenever I have a service request, they have always responded expeditiously to fix WHATEVER. If I'm outside, any of the staff I see are always cordial and willing to take the time to answer any questions I might have. I especially appreciate Austin, Jeremy and Isaac for ALWAYS being so professional and thorough ANYTIME something needs to be done. They all really have a wealth-of-knowledge and/or experience; no matter the task!

Samantha was attentive, kind and helpful giving us a tour and guiding us through the leasing process. After my kids all moved out, I recently sold my house and decided to downgrade to an apartment. After an extensive search, I landed at Cortland at Brier Creek. I absolutely love this place. The application and leasing process was quick and easy, I was in a place within a week from applying. My leasing agent, Mikhail, was amazing! He had a great sense of urgency and made sure I felt welcome and cared for. It is obvious that Mikhail loves what he does! The amenities are amazing as well: plenty of parking, picnic areas, ample walking paths, dog park (they are VERY dog friendly), large refurbished swimming pool and a fully functional gym (that is currently under remodel, but will save me money on my current membership when it is completed with new state of the art equipment). I have been living here for 8 years +, under the old management company. Since Cortland took over and when we signed a new lease three months ago, we have had the best apartment living experience we've ever had. Anytime we put in a service request the maintenance team responds the same day and gets the work done in a timely fashion. The team is always prompt, courteous, respectful and provide excellent customer service! I am happy that I get the Cortland experience! When my husband and I first moved to the property in Brier Creek, it was under different management. Unfortunately our first intial days, and months at the property was a nightmare. After several months of being dissatisfied with our choice to sign our lease, Cortland took over the property. What an awesome difference! With this change we saw immediate improvements in customer service, property upgrades were made, maintenance requests were handled in a timely manner, and most importantly Cortland has created a sense of community by hosting events and ensuring that residents are happy with their living experience. Anytime we go into the office, the management team is eager to meet our needs. A special thank you to Mikhail for always taking the extra needed time to ensure that our family is doing well and keeping us updated. We are truly happy with our stay and we are looking forward to enjoying all the new amenities!

Upon messaging her she was super responsive and helpful and got me into an apartment right away. There were a few hiccups a long the way, but everything worked out and I was able to get into an apartment that I love and feel comfortable with. I have a one bedroom that has a wonderful size bedroom, separate laundry room, open kitchen and living room, and outside storage. What I love too as it includes cable and internet for a low bundled fee every month which is super easy to sign up for and use. I cannot wait to see what will happen this year! Having a comfortable and cool place is what I want and it is what I feel like I received. One minus for the loud construction occurring around me. They warned me a little bit about it upon moving in, but it is much louder and annoying than I expected. I will be happy when it stops! Otherwise I am loving where I live. Big thank y

You’ll love Cortland Brier Creek for many reasons. The front office crew is great and the service team is above par. Any maintenance issues are addressed within 12 hours. Friendly people all around. A very quiet, comfortable place to live.

Updated review from 1 star to 5. I Was very upset , as it was my first summer here, and the pool wasn’t open the whole summer. Since, changing management companies, I must say Cortland has really stepped up, and are making this a much more pleasant experience. The service team came to make repairs a few hours after I submitted the maintenance requests, which was incredibly fast. Everyone knows that relocating can be a stressful and lengthy process! I honestly can say that thanks to their leasing staff member JESSICA I feel so much better, and so much stress has been taking off of me! Firstly, Jessica literally stayed on the phone with me for over 30 minutes and addressed all of my questions to the T! She also provided an explanation and solution for any concern I had. As we all know, sometimes good customer service can go out the window when dealing with major properties. Every Cortland associate I've encountered has been very pleasant and helpful. The maintenance here is amazing!!! Super friendly, and helpful. They’re willing to help with anything (even if you remember little things when they’re only here for a light bulb 😜) An issue with my water heater? It’s being replaced no problem. Just so appreciative to have a maintenance team I can trust, with smiling faces and who goes above and beyond!

Probably the best property I have lived in so far. Moved earlier this summer and staff was extremely helpful during the transition. Any issues or questions I’ve brought forward have been answered speedily and compassionately. Ever since Cortland has taken over our residence, they have worked so hard to pick up the pieces that have been ignored. They hosted a pool party before the end of the pool season, after they quickly rehabbed the pool from the off season. It was such a great time! Mikhail, Jessica, Samantha and Emily are a great leasing staff and since they have been here have taken care of us with anything we have needed.

Since taking over the complex, we've seen the property really being spruced up! A clean and sparkly pool, much better landscaping, and power washing of common areas and walkways. The maintenance staff is wonderful: courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. The office staff is likewise prompt and courteous.

I happened too stop by since it was in this fabulous location, I popped on in to the leasing office and I was welcome by Samantha Pierce. She was intuitive, listen to what. I was interested in which was a 2/b 2/bth. She explained application fee, how everything is paperless, and what was included as far as amenities. Super happy Cortland now manages the Brier Creek location. I have been here for 7 years, and just in the last month or so I have seen tremendous improvements throughout the community. I don't expect everything to be fixed over night, but they are diligent about getting things completed in a timely manner, and they take pride in the service the provide to the residents. The office and maintenence staff are very nice and pleasant to work with. Their communication is superb and updates are 100% better than the last company. Thanks Cortland!
