We had a wonderful experience with Briar Creek Apartments, and a big part of that was thanks to Shyanne. A family member recently moved from New York to Raleigh, and after touring nine apartment complexes, we found Briar Creek to be the perfect fit for our needs. Shyanne was an absolute gem throughout the process. She was pleasant, relaxed, and represented the organization with professionalism and care. During our initial visit, she made us feel welcome and informed. Later, when we requested an online tour of another unit, she was more than accommodating. What truly stood out was her responsiveness. She shared her personal number and answered every one of our (many!) questions with patience and kindness. Thanks to her, the move-in process was incredibly smooth Can’t say enough good things about Shyanne and Briar Creek Apartments. They exceeded our expectations, and we’re thrilled with the choice we made!

This is a nice apartment complex. Mickal and Shantell are very nice with the moving process very knowledgeable I love it here already , we have only been here 5 days and they are quick and responsive. Joseph from maintenance was nice and came quick after we politely asked for our water temperture to go higher because I love hot water and he finished it in a quick and efficient timely manner , very helpful as well🙏🏿. I am so excited to be moving into Cortland Brier Creek! I toured with Madison and was back later that day to see the apartment one more time and sign the lease! For our own personal reasons, my wife and I were skeptical leading up to moving in this past week. For context, my wife had to relocate to Raleigh for work, and we coordinated our move from a different Cortland property in Georgia (an amazing property called Cortland North Brookhaven). With that being said, without ever seeing our unit, we had to coordinate a move and a new lease with the Cortland Brier Creek Team remotely. After moving in this past week, we are ecstatic. We communicated the living situation that we were hoping for to Greg, Mikhail, and Shantel. To say that they all did an incredible job would be an understatement. Not only does our unit look incredible, but Shantel left us a nice note to welcome us to the property. We also received a warm welcome from Emily, Dylan, and Jeremy. I have been a resident here since July 2023. the apartments are amazing, great natural light, close to shopping centers, what else??? We love it here! My wife and I recently moved in and have no complaints so far. The staff and leasing team are very friendly and helpful. They helped make the move-in process smooth and seamless. They answered all of our questions and concerns along the way and worked with us and our hectic moving schedule with dates having to constantly change. We were shocked at how quiet, peaceful and clean the community is. Luckily we moved in at a great time during the new Cortland renovations so all the appliances and amenity areas are brand new. We are happy to be here and excited to see for what’s to come at Cortland Brier Creek in the next few months/year.

I have ONLY good things to say about the grounds/maintenance staff at this complex. Whenever I have a service request, they have always responded expeditiously to fix WHATEVER. If I'm outside, any of the staff I see are always cordial and willing to take the time to answer any questions I might have. I especially appreciate Austin, Jeremy and Isaac for ALWAYS being so professional and thorough ANYTIME something needs to be done. After my kids all moved out, I recently sold my house and decided to downgrade to an apartment. After an extensive search, I landed at Cortland at Brier Creek. I absolutely love this place. The application and leasing process was quick and easy, I was in a place within a week from applying. My leasing agent, Mikhail, was amazing! He had a great sense of urgency and made sure I felt welcome and cared for. It is obvious that Mikhail loves what he does! The amenities are amazing as well: plenty of parking, picnic areas, ample walking paths, dog park (they are VERY dog friendly), large refurbished swimming pool and a fully functional gym (that is currently under remodel, but will save me money on my current membership when it is completed with new state of the art equipment). I have been living here for 8 years +, under the old management company. Since Cortland took over and when we signed a new lease three months ago, we have had the best apartment living experience we've ever had. Anytime we put in a service request the maintenance team responds the same day and gets the work done in a timely fashion. When my husband and I first moved to the property in Brier Creek, it was under different management. Unfortunately our first intial days, and months at the property was a nightmare. After several months of being dissatisfied with our choice to sign our lease, Cortland took over the property. What an awesome difference! With this change we saw immediate improvements in customer service, property upgrades were made, maintenance requests were handled in a timely manner, and most importantly Cortland has created a sense of community by hosting events and ensuring that residents are happy with their living experience. Anytime we go into the office, the management team is eager to meet our needs. A special thank you to Mikhail for always taking the extra needed time to ensure that our family is doing well and keeping us updated. We are truly happy with our stay and we are looking forward to enjoying all the new amenities!

Upon messaging her she was super responsive and helpful and got me into an apartment right away. There were a few hiccups a long the way, but everything worked out and I was able to get into an apartment that I love and feel comfortable with. I have a one bedroom that has a wonderful size bedroom, separate laundry room, open kitchen and living room, and outside storage. What I love too as it includes cable and internet for a low bundled fee every month which is super easy to sign up for and use. I cannot wait to see what will happen this year! Having a comfortable and cool place is what I want and it is what I feel like I received. One minus for the loud construction occurring around me. They warned me a little bit about it upon moving in, but it is much louder and annoying than I expected. I will be happy when it stops! Otherwise I am loving where I live. Big thank y

I honestly can say that thanks to their leasing staff member JESSICA I feel so much better, and so much stress has been taking off of me! Ever since Cortland has taken over our residence, they have worked so hard to pick up the pieces that have been ignored. They hosted a pool party before the end of the pool season, after they quickly rehabbed the pool from the off season. It was such a great time! Since taking over the complex, we've seen the property really being spruced up! A clean and sparkly pool, much better landscaping, and power washing of common areas and walkways. The maintenance staff is wonderful: courteous, prompt, and knowledgeable. The office staff is likewise prompt and courteous.

I happened too stop by since it was in this fabulous location, I popped on in to the leasing office and I was welcome by Samantha Pierce. She was intuitive, listen to what. I was interested in which was a 2/b 2/bth. She explained application fee, how everything is paperless, and what was included as far as amenities. That was the best 20 mints, I have had in a long time.. I sure will recommend to family and friends. Thank you for your time Oakwood Brier Creek staff.

I moved here a couple months ago and i love it here at Cortland brier creek!! Miguel and Jessica made the transition for me very smooth and i’ve had no issues here at all. My experience with Cortland has been great and nothing but positive things can be said from my point of view. I can't say anything negative about the management team and I enjoy going into the office because of their professionalism. I hope they continue to keep up the good work. They also take care of the property which I appreciate because I despise littering and seeing it lying around. I would definitely renew my lease with them if it came down to it.

Super happy Cortland now manages the Brier Creek location. I have been here for 7 years, and just in the last month or so I have seen tremendous improvements throughout the community. I don't expect everything to be fixed over night, but they are diligent about getting things completed in a timely manner, and they take pride in the service the provide to the residents. The office and maintenence staff are very nice and pleasant to work with. Their communication is superb and updates are 100% better than the last company. Thanks Cortland! Looking forward to enjoying the Cortland Living Experience!
