What I like about the Cortland Bowery is that it’s conveniently located. It’s close to restaurants, downtown, Bayshore, stadium, St. Pete., etc. It’s also extremely pet friendly which I love. Lots of pets within the community. The only drawback is that the apartments are small & dark. You’re basically living in a gray box. All the walls, trims, doors & cabinet’s are grey. Also, although the complex was updated in 2018, it is already showing wear & tear. All the metal doors are rusted including all the hardware on the cabinets. The paint is cracked & the wood planks & concrete stairs around the property are worn. There is also a constant stream of creepy crawlies getting into the apartment like spiders, bugs, termites, etc. Overall it’s a decent property.

Great inclusive, home like community with lots of amenities. The Cortland Bowery community makes you feel like you're living in your own private home with the benefits of being in a close knit neighborhood. It's very pet friendly, has nice nature trails, & it in a great location.

Cortland Bowery is a beautiful community! Grounds are exceptional and clean, pools look amazing, I fell in LOVE with the trail leading to the bay! Beautiful 2 story fitness center and kayak launch/storage area and great BONUS a dog park that my Shih Tzu loves. Apartments have a beautiful finish and renovation, feels like home. Customer service is excellent. The team, Melissa, Sandra, Liz, Millie and Joseph make this property shine and the service team is amazing and always soo friendly! Overall, I love living at Cortland Bowery. I think it’s an amazing community and perfectly located. However, due to the unsanitary conditions of the common areas, I could not in good conscience recommend others moving here at the moment. Loose, rotting garbage lying around is how disease spreads. Once this gets fixed, I’ll feel comfortable saying this is a 5 star community that anyone would love to live in.

I recently moved into the "Cortland Bowery." I have nothing but outstanding things to say about this impeccable apartment complex. The amenities are outstanding, with two beautiful nature trails that lead to Tampa Bay. The complex is well maintained, with beautiful landscaping and bright, open spaces. My apartment was in PRISTINE condition upon move in, with carpets cleaned and not a speck of dirt anywhere. The move-in process was made stress free, due to JOSEPH SABATINO! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this man. His professionalism and expert knowledge about the facility; South Tampa; and, overall leasing concerns and questions of mine, were all put to rest due to this man's authentic and genuine care. Can't thank Talia in the office enough for getting me into a new home. Long story short, I made the move from NC to Tampa and thought I had a place lined up after they told me when paperwork would be done. The apartment complex is a great mix for those who want to socialize at the leasing office's hosted events and those who enjoy a quiet and peaceful environment. They have a variety of layouts for those in the lower and higher price ranges and spacial need. I especially have to name drop a Mr. Joseph Sabatino, whose care and consideration has made my stay at Cortland Bowery a memorable and peaceful time, and is one of the reasons I recommend this complex to many of my friends and coworkers.

I lived in Cortland Bowery for 1.5 years and had a great experience there. The staff is amazing (both maintenance and leasing office), the amenities are nice, the events organised by the office are fun and allowed me to become friends with neighbors. My unit was a third (and last) floor, facing the mangrove, which was perfect to see the beautiful sunset. I think the units are well sized (no wasted space) and the price is good for the area ($2300 all additional mandatory bills included for a 2bd 2ba). Only downside: I had barking dogs in my building, which was a pain at 6:30am 3-4 times/week.

It's ideal to live in Cortland Bowery! The personnel is outstanding and highly attentive. In less than a week, I was able to move into my apartment! The grounds are filled with many features and conveniences. Gorgeous surroundings! It is as though I am in heaven. Also 10 minutes away from MacDill Air Force base!

I recently moved in, and it’s been a great community to live in thus far. The leasing process went seamlessly thanks to Talia. She was knowledgeable, super helpful, and a great communicator. I asked her probably far too many questions all throughout the tour, leasing process, and even after moving in. She was always prompt, super friendly, and eager to help answer my questions. Once my lease started, but prior to physically moving in, I had shipped several boxes to the apartment. At my request Talia had taken time out of her day to specifically make sure the boxes were locked inside. Then, I had a massive delivery with heavy boxes, and Joseph took time from his day to lift probably 250 lbs of stuff into my apartment. I am super grateful for their above and beyond service. We just moved in and love it! Joe was super helpful during our tour and answered our million questions. Application process was seamless & Joe was quick and responsive when it came to all my annoying emails leading up to our move. Obviously these are not newly built apartments but what theyve done to the property is lovely, the dog park, grill area, fire pit and gym are all kept very clean. The trail to the beach and kayak launch are absolutely a plus as well.

Cortland is a great place to live. Nothing is better than the community events that are put on by the staff. The apartments are absolutely adorable and I love the garden style community. There is a cafe onsite that has a variety of sundries and the best chicken shawarma wrap ever. We toured the newer Cortland property next door and it’s really nice but everything about the Bowery has just been better. Talia in the leasing office was a huge help in answering all of our questions and getting us through the application process incredibly efficiently. The property is regularly being maintained and the amenities from the gym, cafe, and boardwalks to the kayak storage/entry are all exactly what my roommate and I were hoping for in seeing them advertised. Definitely recommend.

My roommate and I toured several nearby apartments before Cortland - including the newer cortland property immediately north - and this is just the perfect balance. It's an older property but they've done a great job of upgrading all of the amenities - especially the gym and community areas. The management team has been excellent so far, as well- Talia was awesome with the tour and move-in process. Overall, very satisfied with moving here and definitely recommend.

All the staff at the Bowery have been kind, caring, welcoming, friendly, thorough and responsive. Our apartment was so clean and well-prepared when we moved in, practically like new. It’s a beautiful community with fantastic amenities and service. Maintenance is always prompt and professional. I have a lovely view of a pond with birds from my home office, and I love walking out on the nature trail to see the birds and sunset over Tampa Bay. The two pools are so picturesque with the palm trees and fountain feature. The kayak launch option is awesome and the gym is great for cardio and weight lifting. I also love the resident socials they hold and have made friends at them. The location is also ideal, a short drive to downtown Tampa and the airport, close to the Gandy to get over to St. Pete pretty quickly. I'm thankful to call Cortland Bowery home.

We’ve lived at Bowery for 3 years and we love it! Lots of greenery and fun complex events. Our pup loves the dog park too. Sandra worked with us when we wanted a change of scenery within the complex. She personally picked our unit and we couldn’t love it more. She understood what we wanted in a new unit and she delivered. Thank you!!

I did a tour with Talia & she really went out of her way to show me as much as possible. She answered questions before I even asked them & she really made it feel like a home while on my tour. This property is beyond beautiful! I love how it's nestled right in downtown Tampa, yet feels like an escape with the ponds, gazebo and pools.

Moving to Cortland Bowery has been one of the BEST decisions I have ever made! The units themselves are the perfect size to meet my needs, and the community itself is extremely welcoming. The staff take great care in ensuring that residents have a positive experience by hosting fun resident events, providing free group exercises classes where you can meet new people, and even enjoy a delicious meal from a local food truck almost every week! However, my favourite part of Cortland Bowery is the gazebo on the water, where you can catch some of the best sunsets!

Maintenance is always super helpful and the management will always accommodate however they can which is very unheard of these days. I had a great time living here! The views are so nice, amenities are clean, and the maintenance is top notch! I go to school in the downtown and unfortunately, the commute to the downtown I don’t love, that is the ONLY reason I am not renewing my lease. I would love to come back here in the near future. The leasing consultants are so nice, friendly, and helpful including Kamir, Anthony, Joe and many more. If you are thinking of signing a lease at a wonderful complex, go here!

Great so far for living here for 2 months, older infrastructure but it is still solid. Staff is very helpful, responsive, and personable. Maintenance are efficient just need a few days to process the request.

Overall this is a solid apartment complex. It’s the best bang-for-your-buck I could find in south tampa. The nature trail is a solid amenity that a lot of other complex’s don’t have, and the gym is a lot better than most. Maintenance usually comes the next day, Andy was very helpful and informative about how to prevent future maintenance problems. If it were newer/more spacious it would bump it up to a 5 star. Update after 1 year of living here: We resigned our lease. With all of the crooked corporate run apartment complex' this has been the best one I have found after years of apartment living. Maintenance is amazing and the pest control guys are super helpful too. Our Hot/Cold water was reversed on our kitchen sink & they came out to fix it almost immediately. Great living experience.

We’ve been here about a year and a half and it’s been everything we have hoped for. Two very nice swimming pool areas, clean apartments, and very friendly staff. It’s an easy ride to Tampa or points in Pinellas County, so location is a plus. There’re also events going on, such as a summer block party, which help the residents feel connected. I’ve no reason to move from here at this point in time; very recommended.

Cortland bowery is a great community to live in. The apartments are gorgeous and updated. The community is clean, well kept, and with beautiful amenities. Had the pleasure of taking a tour yesterday with Joe and Mark, and I must say, I know where I’ll be residing next. I’m looking months ahead of time as I am moving from out of state, but finally had some time to travel to the sunshine state to see what’s available, and these fellas treated me as if I were already a resident. They were a true reflection of just how amazing this community is, with their gorgeous pools, awesome gym, and beautiful nature trails. This was only the second community I came to view yesterday, and since then I’ve concluded my search. I can confidently say I’ve found my new home. Thank you Joe and Mark. I can’t wait to apply this fall!

I moved to Cortland Bowery about a month ago, and have had an exceptional experience so far. I moved cross-country, sight unseen, and Joseph took the time to show me around the community over a video call; including their model unit, and the grounds. Upon arrival, staff were extremely welcoming and made it easy to get settled in. The grounds, facilities, and amenities are all extremely well maintained. The fitness center, kayak launch, and nature trail are all really cool things to have access to. Being able to go out and watch the sunset over the water every night is incredible! The property management team also does an excellent job fostering a sense of community. I really like the work they do bringing in local food trucks, staging events, and even holding group fitness classes. It's a little detail that goes a long way in making you feel like you live in an actual neighborhood, not just an apartment complex. I would absolutely recommend Cortland Bowery to a friend who was moving to the area.

Stunning location on Tampa Bay. The sunsets over the bay each night that you can enjoy from the nature walk gazebos are unreal. Feels like living in a nature preserve. Cortland Bowery located on South West Shore Blvd.Tampa is next door to the West Shore Yacht Club and 1/10 of a mile from Gandy Blvd. Cortland Bowery is a short drive to International Mall with its many fine shops, restaurants and movie theaters as well as a short hop on the Gandy Bridge to St. Petersburg and Clearwater beaches. I have been living here for 3 months now and it’s been great. From the move in process directly from Miami, everything has been smooth sailing. I love everything about this place. Anthony and the team at the office have been great and friendly and so helpful. Service requests are solved immediately. On a Saturday, maintenance came within the hour and fixed my issue. The amenities are so different and beautiful. The boardwalk to the sunset is unreal. The gym is open 24 hours, what a godsend. Come nightime it is so quiet and serene, I feel safe and sleep well. The food trucks that come by every week is such a convenience since I sold my car. They hold holiday parties, events, comedy shows wirh drinks and food. I rented their clubhouse and its such an amazing space. I am overall super happy. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had an appointment with Joseph in the rental office to view a unit, and he was so polite and took us on a tour to view everything. The unit was Beautiful and the property is Very Clean. Even had nice cold sodas in the fridge at the unit we viewed. My wife said it's like a resort. The nature trail that lead to the water IS SO BEAUTIFUL 😍. Everything was beautiful. Cortland Bowery is an awesome place to live! I moved here several months ago, without ever visiting the complex before signing the lease. It was a risk that totally paid off. The bayside location, mature trees and plantings and the two pools are beautiful! The management team is wonderful, and the maintenance crew is terrific-any issues are addressed very promptly. The grounds are well maintained, and people are friendly. Life is good at Cortland Bowery!

Nice Complex to live, nice pool, exercise, room, study room, outdoor pits near the pool. Excellent location for work in and around the the area when construction is complete. Wish there were more dog parks. Having trash pickup during the week is a plus when you are on the run for work or something. The amount of trash generated warrants a better dumpster setting. Or a change more often based on need not schedule. 4.5 star 🌟

My overall experience at Cortland Bowery has been fantastic! Its felt like home since the first day i moved in. My neighbors have been great and office management goes above and beyond for the community. Office management has really been there for me like a big family when I've needed anything. There are always activities or something going on within the community. it's a great place to live! i love the pool areas and boardwalk for sunsets. I have been here for years and look forward to more with my Cortland Bowery fam! Thanks for everything!
