Moving to a new city can be pretty intimidating and the team at Cortland made moving into my apartment so easy and alleviated so much of the regular moving stress. Michaela handled my move-in orientation and she is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive so that I felt at home right away! The apartment, amenities, and the management team are all fantastic. You can really tell that the Cortland team goes above and beyond to make sure residents and visitors feel welcome and comfortable. I could go on, but genuinely I highly recommend this place and am so thankful for Michaela and the team at Cortland.

Property Management Office and Facility Managers took pride in the upkeep and daily living situation of this apartment complex, which made it a treat to live in. What I enjoyed most about Cortland Nations: - Did I mention the staff? :) give everyone a raise!! Whenever I got a chance to exchange a morning/evening "hello", everyone I got to meet were friendly to be around and answered any requests in a timely manner. Shout out to Nelson!!!! - location is 15/20 minutes from downtown, germantown, Centennial Park, East Nashville which was super convenient when participating in my Co-Ed Sports leagues after work, grabbing an Uber/carpooling to Titans/Sounds Baseball/Predators Hockey games. - Pool/Courtyard with Gas grills (I enjoyed my use of the grills :) ) - Walkable neighborhood during the day/night. there's also the Music City Greenway along the Cumberland not too far, along with other walking paths in the area (Sylvan Park, West

I recently stayed in the guest suite available for family and friends at Cortland and had a wonderful experience. The area is very walkable and extremely dog friendly, which made the stay even better. The suite itself was a fully furnished 1 bedroom with a nice patio area, and it felt comfortable and well maintained. Michaela at the front office was very welcoming and friendly from the moment I arrived. She made check in easy, answered the questions I had, and truly helped create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

I’ve been living here for 3 years and have loved it! It’s close to my work, gym, and obviously right across the street from Jenni’s! The office staff is amazing (shout out to Michaela!) and the maintenance staff (Nelson, Trey, Rafa, and the rest of the crew) have not only fixed every problem I’ve had in my apartment perfectly but also always ask if I need anything whenever I bump into them in the community. We love living here! Michaela in the front office is so friendly and responsive. Our dog Brooks loves stopping by to see her and get a treat. The maintenance team is on top of it and comes the following day of submitting a request. We also love the walk ability to all of our favorite nations spots. This has been our favorite place in Nashville to live.

I have truly loved living at Cortland at the Nations. The community is beautiful, the amenities are great, and the location is hard to beat. Everything is always well maintained, and the management and maintenance teams do an excellent job making sure residents are taken care of. A special shoutout to Michaela in the leasing office. She is such a wonderful leasing agent and always goes above and beyond. She is incredibly sweet to my dogs, and they get so excited every time they see her. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the residents (and their pets!). This has honestly been one of the best places I’ve lived, and I would absolutely recommend Cortland at the Nations to anyone looking for a great community with fantastic staff.

From start to finish, this experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Michaela and Mackenzie truly went above and beyond throughout the entire process, and their support made everything seamless. I also want to take a moment to recognize the maintenance team, hands down one of the best I’ve ever worked with. They were fast, honest, and incredibly kind. Michaela and the assistant manager are simply amazing. 5 Star treatment!! They have been patiently working with a group of us who independently need our own unit. We all have special circumstances and specific requirements. Out of the 50+ apartments we have viewed in the Nashville area the Cortland staff Is hands down the most helpful. The property is well maintained and out of the 20+ tenants we spoke with, everyone enjoys the property and they love the Management and leasing staff. Michaela has gone above and beyond our expectations to help us find units and circumstances that fit our every need. Our happiness is their main goal. These ladies are not just about the numbers, they truly care.

Our kids live here in the Cortland and we came for a visit! They have apartments available to rent for friends and families of residence members which made it very convenient! The apartment we rented was very nice and all the amenities you would expect in a well appointed Air B&B, including a very nice washer and dryer! The location is close to downtown Nashville and is surprisingly walkable since there are several great restaurants, a couple breweries, several bars, a convenience store and a Dollar General, all within walking distance! The staff were very nice and accommodating as well! We loved our kid’s apartment too! All things considered, we really enjoyed this place and the Cortland will be first on our list of options when we are back for another visit!

By far the best apartment complex in Nashville! The community is centrally located next to ice cream, coffee shops, BBQ, boutiques, restaurants, gyms and more. The amenities are amazing. I personally love the craft room and dog park! The events are so fun! You can really tell the staff care about the culture of the complex. I had the pleasure of calling Cortland at the Nations home for two years. It was the first place I lived in when I moved to Nashville and it will always be a special place to me. The community is gorgeous and the location is prime. So many great places to eat, drink, workout, etc. within walking distance. It's close to downtown but far away from the craziness! I always felt safe here and would take my dog outside for walks late at night by myself and never felt uncomfortable. The community is truly that - a community. It's easy to make friends with the residents and the staff is wonderful and so friendly. <3

Michaela is FANTASTIC, and honestly I cannot recommend this complex enough. Michaela is newer to this complex but immediately made an effort to get to know us and help with whatever she could. She greets everyone with a smile and always puts residents first. If I ever need anything from the front desk, Michaela is always there and so is Mackenzie - both of these ladies are incredibly professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Any service requests are taken care of IMMEDIATELY. And of course most importantly, as a dog mom, every single member of this team makes my baby feel so loved and safe. We love Michaela, Mackenzie and the entire cortland at the nations team - and hope the team there gets the recognition they deserve.

Recently got a tour of the studio apartments at Cortland at the Nations. Perfect walkable area and super close to my gym. The environment felt safe and comfortable. Michaela did such an amazing job at showing me around and answering questions I had in regards of moving and what to expect etc. Love that they have a fitness center, a place where you can host events and parties and the pool is amazing also 😊🙌🏽 The only con is having to pay monthly to park as a resident but, other than that it’s a great apartment and the staff is super friendly! I would highly recommend!

I recently came to visit this community! Michaela was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful—she made the whole process enjoyable. The property is beautiful and offers a lot in terms of amenities, the art room was a beautiful room that I have yet to see in any other complex. I did have some concerns about the package room after reading other reviews, but was pleasantly surprised to see how organized the package room really was when I asked to see it. Highly recommend checking it out!

Such a beautiful location! From the moment you step onto the property, you're greeted by well-kept grounds, friendly staff, and spotless amenities. The tour covers the essentials—pool, gym, grill, and complimentary coffee—but the real charm lies in the extras: a podcast room, a fully stocked art studio, a LEGO wall, and state-of-the-art fitness equipment. Michaela from the leasing team was a standout—her warm, upbeat personality made the tour even more enjoyable! The only downside was that it was slightly out of our budget, but we truly feel the value matches the price.

This location absolutely rocks my socks. Walking distance of awesome bars / taprooms (51st taproom has my hear), solid bbq, Oscars (with the best breakfast burrito in town). Frothy Monkey is basically next door for my coffee addiction. the complex is always clean and I've always felt super safe. 10/10 would recommend (well I guess 5/5 but whatever).

It’s a great location with a very responsive staff and friendly service and top notch amenities. The units were very modern and well taken care of, and thus far we are enjoying our residency here. Excellent walkability to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and the commute to things you would want to do in Nashville is not bad at most times of the day. We like it here! As a side note, I don’t understand the negative reviews about the noise. The train passes by twice a day, maybe, at most, during hours you probably should be awake anyway, and the factory I genuinely thought was someone mowing their lawn a few miles away - it’s just a low hum that is only audible outside, with no other noise occurring. These reviewers should try living somewhere actually loud like Antioch near Bell Road where street racing and constant sirens cause so much noise pollution. It is also relatively safe for Nashville. Nothing compared to areas with track records of higher crime like Antioch or Madison. Really baffling for me.

It is a beautiful property, kept clean, and the front office team/maintenance is very responsive and friendly! I love the industrial vibe of the community and the walkability to breweries, restaurants and coffee shops!

Five out of five stars. Highly recommend. The apartment is nestled within the Nations neighborhood, so it gives off community vibes. The building, apartments and amenities are contemporary with particular detail to attention with the decor, which is a plus for me. The best part is that the staff is welcoming and friendly and they always greet you with smiling faces and they are solution oriented. The apartment also hosts monthly community events and host nice events with food and beverages! Whitney is the community manager and her presence is duly noted and appreciated. She is a people person and committed to offering residents quality service. Russell and Madisen are top tier leasing consultants. This crew makes Cortland welcoming. Johnnie, James and Jair are thee best maintenance crew! Friendly, efficient and resourceful--period. Thank you.

I've lived here for almost a year, and I really love the place. Any maintenance request is completed immediately and by incredibly personal people. Management seems to be doing a good job of trying to always be improving this place. Any downsides to this place would happen anywhere else.

The staff is amazing. I would highly recommend moving here. They do a really great job of engaging residents in the community. The maintenance is absolutely wonderful. The only issue I wish was different about the complex is that there were more grass areas for my dogs to use the bathroom. There is mainly mulch and rocks within the complex, but I still give the apartment a 5/5 because of all the amenities, staff, cleanliness and overall vibe.

Love living here, feel so supported by the staff especially Maddie, Russ, Whitney and the ENTIRE maintenance team led by Johnny. The rare occasions we've had an issue, these awesome people have responded immediately and resolved the problem right away. When we got a puppy, everyone was so supportive in making him feel at home too, and to have a place that is so pet friendly means the world to us. Cannot recommend living here enough.

I've had a wonderful time living in these apartments, and a significant part of that enjoyment is thanks to the outstanding maintenance team. Jair has been especially helpful. this is such an amazing apartment. The space is beautiful & such a happy environment and area. The staff is also amazing! Johnny on the maintenance team is specifically awesome. I got 6 huge boxes in the mail and he came over and went out of his way to help me bring them up.

Cortland at the nations Is clean and in a really convient location. Everyone has a pet and is super understanding of what comes with that. Having said that if you are not a dog person this may not be the place for you.

Lived here for 9 months recently. New building, beautiful rooms and good amenities in general. Nice pool area. Gym could use a real bike otherwise was terrific. Should be 4.5 stars bc 1) overpriced with lots of extra fees each month and for that price things seemed to either break or not function well 2) heavy on the dog barking which is just a part of apartment life 3) The front office started off great but ended up short staffed; Cindy was THE BEST all year but others tended to not make things easy If you’re looking for a clean new apartment with good walkability and price/fees are ok for you then not a bad option

This new complex is beautifully designed and built. It's nice to see a place that is this well thought out. It's super comfortable and the staff is as friendly as can be. They clearly actually care about the resident experience. Highly recommended to people looking for a brand new, yet affordable place to live that close to everything.

The staff is great and they communicate with Residents about building updates very well. Maintenance/Service requests are addressed quickly. Johnnie and James fix issues quickly, are very friendly and extremely professional. They are hands down the best maintenance/service staff I’ve encountered. Everyone who works here is truly incredible. Even when the leasing office was understaffed or dealing with random issues recently, the only thing the team cared about was how the residents were doing and how they could make our experience better. It's a blessing to live here. I want to specifically mention Johnny Burton. Day or night, sunshine or hail, this guy is on the property getting LITERALLY everything done with a smile on his face. The first time I ever met him, he was pulling these gigantic chairs out of the pool. The wind had blown them into the water overnight, and it was definitely a two person job. I offered to help, he laughed and thanked me, then proceeded to singlehandedly make the whole pool area look brand new again. So many stories like that. Truthfully, I should've written this review the day I moved in here. Thank you, Johnny. And thank you to everyone who makes it feel like home!

The apartments themselves are well appointed with modern fixtures and premium stainless appliances, granite counters and efficient floor plans. The Cortland at The Nations is an excellent place to call home if buying your residence isn’t on the table for you at the moment.

Honestly love living here. The few times I have needed something done the team here was quick to get it done and cared enough to follow up and make sure everything was good. Everyone that works here is super friendly and easy to talk. Great water pressure. I have an amazing view, especially when there is a beautiful sunset. Plenty of community events. I love the location because it’s close to downtown but without all the noise and traffic.

Aryel is FANTASTIC. We moved from NJ to Nashville and she was there with us every step of the way. I have nothing but good things to say about my time at Cortland at the Nations! From the start they have been accommodating and helpful in a timely manner. In the year I’ve lived here, I’ve only had one need to call maintenance and they fixed the issue within hours. The units are gorgeous and have great features/fixtures. Everyone is so friendly and it has a great sense of community. The community team greets me by name and always makes me feel at home! They have made updates as residents have requested, such as adding a water fountain to the dog park. The landscaping and amenities are well-kept! Would recommend to anyone looking for a rental home!

The move in process is made as easy as possible by the leasing staff who genuinely care about residents. Post move issues are easily fixed using an online maintenance portal, with the maintenance staff themselves being equally as lovely. Is a super nice facility with plenty of amenities that are kept clean and ready for use. Additionally, the building is extremely safe and requires waving a fob at almost every door. All units have dishwashers/in unit laundry, all of which are in great working order as many of the units are being lived in by their first residents. Extremely pet friendly and overall a super impressive complex.

The friendliness of the staff, the layout of my particular unit, and the amenities are what ultimately sold me on Cortland in comparison to some of the other options. I was moving from out of state and toured three apartment complexes. As soon as I walked into the Cortland - I was impressed! Not only is the space extremely creative and beautiful, but I was welcomed so genuinely as if I was already a resident. Before I moved in I had a lot of communication from my amazing leasing agent Cindy preparing me for everything I needed. I asked a lot of questions along the way and she was so quick and helpful. I’ve lived here two weeks and the space is extremely clean, new and beautiful! The amenities are incredible - and I love how big my closet is! I never want to leave this place!

An absolute gem of a development with amazing amenities and hospitable staff. Amanda helped us find our perfect apartment with an amazing view. The illy coffee machine in the lobby is my favorite part of waking the day or for a pick me up in the afternoon. Saltwater pool just opened and is an absolute dream for a dip or a quiet place to journal. My calendar now remains populated with upcoming community events to enjoy the property to the fullest.

I walked in at the end of the day, without an appointment, and was immediately greeted by Amanda. Even though their office had technically closed, she was friendly and accommodating. I was able to set an appointment to stop by to look at the facility the next day, at my convenience. The property is first class, and Amanda took her time with us and was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the apartments and the community. We came to visit nashville for a day to find the perfect place to call home. We were excited to visit the Nations by Cortland! Amanda, our leasing agent, was on point from the first second we walked in! Amanda was fun, energetic and very caring of our needs. She asked us what mattered most to us and found us the best fit! Cannot recommend Cortland enough! Moved into the building from DC in December with the former management company and it was awful- Instantly had buyers remorse and considered breaking my lease. Since Cortland has taken over things have improved significantly- former management/leasing was always put out and gave attitude when you had any questions about the building. Cortland is not only kind but extremely helpful and on top of all maintenance issues. Dwain and Cindy have truly been amazing- they have made living here since the transition 10x better.
