Best maintenance team! Especially Nelson Garcia! Goes above and beyond! He took care of the things that he noticed weren’t on the original service request and knocked everything out quickly!

It’s a great location with a very responsive staff and friendly service and top notch amenities. The units were very modern and well taken care of, and thus far we are enjoying our residency here. Excellent walkability to restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and the commute to things you would want to do in Nashville is not bad at most times of the day. We like it here! As a side note, I don’t understand the negative reviews about the noise. The train passes by twice a day, maybe, at most, during hours you probably should be awake anyway, and the factory I genuinely thought was someone mowing their lawn a few miles away - it’s just a low hum that is only audible outside, with no other noise occurring. These reviewers should try living somewhere actually loud like Antioch near Bell Road where street racing and constant sirens cause so much noise pollution. It is also relatively safe for Nashville. Nothing compared to areas with track records of higher crime like Antioch or Madison. Really baffling for me. Edit:

I've been living at Cortland at the Nations for a little over a year now, and its been one of the best apartment complexes I've ever called home. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Any maintenance requests or communications to the office are handled pretty much immediately. I especially love how communicative they are regarding events or any ongoing issues at the complex. One of the most important things to me when finding a place to live is how pet-friendly they are. This place is incredibly pet-friendly. My pup gets so much love here, especially from Michaela at the front office. Seeing her is probably the highlight of his day. Michaela also has been exceptional when handling any issues I've had; I just mention them while my pup is saying hi, and shortly later will get notified of an email from the office or of a maintenance request that has been submitted for me.

I have lived here a little over 2 years and have loved living here! Michaela in the leasing office is great and is always so helpful! Anytime I go down to get packages she is very welcoming and has a smile on her face :)

I’ve had a great experience living here, and a huge part of that is thanks to Michaela in the leasing office. She truly goes above and beyond to make this feel like a community, not just an apartment complex. Michaela consistently plans thoughtful, well-executed resident events that people actually want to attend. It’s clear she puts a lot of care into creating moments that bring neighbors together, and it makes a real difference in the overall experience of living here. She’s also incredibly warm and welcoming on a day-to-day basis. My dogs absolutely adore her—and honestly, so does every dog in the building. It says a lot about her energy that even the pets are excited to see her. It’s rare to come across someone who is both highly professional and genuinely kind, but Michaela is exactly that. She’s a big reason why this place feels like home.

Michaela is one of the best parts of living in this building! First of all, my dogs think she’s their best friend. Although I suspect every dog in the building feels the same way. Michaela has a wonderful way of genuinely making everyone feel at home and welcome. She listens and takes the time to address concerns with care. And she hosts beautiful events that I very much appreciate — and is one of my favorite things about being a Cortland resident!

I recently toured this apartment complex and had a great experience overall. Michaela truly stood out she was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the entire tour feel relaxed after a long day of touring multiple complexes. She took the time to answer all my questions and really made a lasting impression. The location is another big highlight. It’s in a very walkable area with convenient access to shops, dining, and bars, which is a huge plus. The amenities are on par with what you’d expect from most apartments. I especially loved the addition of the art room. It’s a unique touch that adds character and gives residents a creative outlet. Overall 10/10 experience.

Moving to a new city can be pretty intimidating and the team at Cortland made moving into my apartment so easy and alleviated so much of the regular moving stress. Michaela handled my move-in orientation and she is incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and supportive so that I felt at home right away! The apartment, amenities, and the management team are all fantastic. You can really tell that the Cortland team goes above and beyond to make sure residents and visitors feel welcome and comfortable. I could go on, but genuinely I highly recommend this place and am so thankful for Michaela and the team at Cortland.
