I lived here for a year and would love to share my thoughts! POSITIVES 1. Extremely helpful and easily accessible staff. If I ever had a question, they’d easily get back to me within 24 hours at the most. I had to move units within the first few months because of a really noisy neighbor above me and they got me out and in a new unit on the top floor with a small fee within a week. I really appreciated that. (I also want to note that if you are sensitive to noise, don’t choose a unit that faces the pool. There’s a significant echo so I could hear splashing, music, and conversation) 2. Maintenance is also absolutely amazing and they respond extremely fast. 3. Beautiful units and high end finishes/appliances. 4. Excellent rent prices considering the area. My studio was perfect for me. 5. Safety 1000/10, living near the hospitals is amazing and there is always security/police around. As someone with a dog who would walk late at night this was especially important. 6. Clean! I have lived in this community for 1.5 years and have absolutely loved every moment! For extremely responsive leasing team and maintenance staff to pristine designed homes with large countertops and new appliances - I am so sad have to leave this place. Yes sometimes you can hear people walking above your apt and sometimes its hard to find parking at the lower floors - but these are trivial issues. No community is perfect and the management here does an amazing job resolving issues. Maintenance team responds in 24 hours and get the job done 100% of time!

Cortland is awesome. Great living, people, and staff. I would recommend joining Cortland for an amazing living experience. Also, there are multiple stores, markets, and fun things to do around the area.

After being a longtime resident of this community and other Cortland communities, I feel inclined to leave a 5 star review simply due to the help from Amber who recently help me upgrade to a new unit. She made the process very easy, smooth and was well informed. The day of our transfer, she was early and even followed up to make sure we were settling in well. Even before our transfer, Amber was helpful with other things we have needed help with over the years. Further more, unfortunately I have been dealing with being harassed by a downstairs neighbor for simply living and walking around my unit. If you are looking into moving to this community or really any apartment complex, please keep in mind apartments are not meant to be silent. You are living on top of, below and next to people. You may hear neighbors walking around, music lightly coming from the units while walking down the hallway, dogs barking - all things that are normal and common when living in close quarters to other people. It’s been a little over a year so I believe this review is due. I’ve been working in this area for quite a while and the convenience of this apartment relative to not only where I worked, but also the amount of food options and accessibility to many of my desired areas within Metro Atlanta. Pet friendly as well. It’s hard to beat (at least for me). On top of that, what sold the deal was just the professionalism and people person personality of our leasing agent, Amber. One of the things my fiancé and I took note during our initial tour Without Amber just seem to know most, if not all of the tenants that we came across And everyone’s response was very much so welcoming of her. Even to this day, she has still displays those characteristics and we’ve had many conversations and jokes along the way.
