If I could give this complex 10 stars, I absolutely would! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My experience living at Cortland has been phenomenal. I couldn’t ask for a better management team. Romy, the manager, has been incredibly helpful and patient throughout my entire move-in process. Jorge, one of the maintenance team members, works quickly and diligently to resolve every issue that comes up. For example, when the ice maker in my fridge stopped working, it was fixed in just one day and I really appreciate that level of effort and care. Thank you Jorge!! Paul is also amazing. He is always willing to answer any questions and responds quickly to calls and messages, which makes a huge difference in my overall experience. The community events and gatherings they host have been such a blessing for our family. It really creates a welcoming and connected environment. I’m grateful to live in such a beautiful lakeside community, surrounded by people who genuinely care about their residents.

I’ve lived here for a few months now and everyone has been great! Melvin and Alexis were great help when we needed them to fix a leaky roof. Alexis came right away and also on a Sunday morning. Recently I have been approved and will be moving in a few months. I wanted to give a big shoutout to Paul, he was very helpful in offering several options for my husband and I (and our budget). From the beginning of our tours very helpful and did not make us feel rushed and answered all of our questions thoroughly. The application process was also very simple and straightforward, took about 4 days, (it was also the weekend so I got a response on Monday) finalized the lease documents a day after the approval. The exact unit we have not seen since it is not available, regardless Paul showed us very similar apartments and the photos for the unit we got. Very clean community and the amenities are great. Praying we have a good time being at our new home in a few months.

This rating is for the maintenance team, specifically Humberto. It’s 9:44 pm and he just left my apartment. He came after hours to fix the kitchen sink/garbage disposal that was overflowing. It works perfect now. Very nice guy, would give 10 stars if I could.

This rating is specifically for the maintenance team. Just moved in and found a couple of items that needed attention inside de unit. The maintenance team moved quickly and repaired them in less than 24hrs. Dariel took a personal approach and made sure that everything was to my satisfaction. I’m extremely impressed with their responsiveness, their professionalism and the sense of urgency with which they delivered.

I have nothing but good things to say , Humberto and Dariel from the service team did an outstanding job. They were professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled efficiently. Their work was thorough and done with great attention to detail. They were also very polite, respectful, and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience smooth and pleasant. It’s clear they take pride in what they do, and the building is lucky to have such dedicated team members. I truly appreciate their effort and excellent service!

Romy is the greatest and nicely person that helped me a lot to find a nice apartment in this beautiful condominiums, it was my first time moving alone and she make the process felt smooth and easy, the apartment met all my needs and beyond, she knew exactly what I need and she found it for me, Cortland was just as she described all the crew is excellent and the place is quite with nice views, just as she Said, I would recommended 100%, a nice hint is that even if you go out of Miami and you have a problem you can call Romy or Maintenance team and they will go to the apartment and fixed so when you come, everything will be working efficiently.

My husband and I have been bombarding Jessica at the front office, with the 101 questions, and looking at different apartment layouts, yet she’s been nothing but helpful , funny and so nice. There are a few things we are concerned about with all the construction going on, but I must say, her customer service has us hopeful that our time here will be great . Thank you for the millionth time for all that you’ve done jessica , we can’t wait to move in!! :) Property- we’ve seen the whole complex quite a few times and it’s very clean , the apartment layouts we checked were for 1/1 and all of them have great features it just depends on what is more important to you . So needless to say, We are very excited to move in! Update 11/6 - we’ve had a few service requests done by Jorge & Alejandro, they were very nice , efficient and got the job done! Thank you! Update 7/29/2025 - Melvin came to check an issue with the ac, he was really nice , and answered all my questions about the issue .

If I could give Maria Suazo more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! From the moment I first toured the community, she made the entire process smooth, stress-free, and even enjoyable. Her patience, professionalism, and kindness stood out right away. She took the time to answer all of my questions (and I had a lot!), never made me feel rushed, and always made sure I felt confident and informed every step of the way. While the community itself is beautiful and full of great amenities, it was because of Maria that I chose to make this my new home. She genuinely cares about the people she helps and it shows in everything she does. She went above and beyond for me, and I can’t thank her enough. If every agent was like Maria, apartment hunting would be a dream. She’s truly one of a kind!

Vivimos en este condominio hace 10 meses exactamente y hace unos dias se malogro la lavadora, el equipo de mantenimiento hizo la inspeccion y nos menciono que por tema del motor es que ya no funcionaba, iban a dejar pendiente la solicitud para cambiar el equipo. Hoy cambiaron la lavadora por una nueva y debo decir que la atencion del equipo de mantenimiento especificamente del Sr. Fernando y su asistente Mark ha sido rapida y muy amable en todo momento. Cuando tenemos alguna eventualidad en cuanto al servicio siempre responden rapidamente, estamos muy agradecidos con su servicio.

We recently moved out after living here for a year and a half, and our experience was wonderful. We have no complaints at all. Even the maintenance team was excellent—special thanks to Humberto Soto and Jorge Luis, who were always polite, respectful, and greeted us warmly. The management office, including the office manager, was also outstanding and consistently helpful when assistance was needed. The amenities were great, but our favorite was the volleyball area, where our child spent most of their time playing with the sand and having fun. It truly felt like home.

Excellent work preformed by Mr. Melvin in the repair and maintenance of our apartment dryer unit which hasn’t been drying our laundry. Mr. Melvin professional conducted his inspection and diagnostics and immediately got to work. My review is for Romy, she is in charge of the transfer at Cortland at the hammock, it was so hard to find something that suits me and my child plus the budget that i had to pay the rent, she found the most beautiful apartment in front of the pool, she was the best, I was so stressed out with the process and she was so positive, patiently heard to all my concerns, and finally she found me the right place. Today days every-time I sat on the front of the pool and said to myself THANK YOU ROMY!!

Viviendo desde hace más de 10 años en esta comunidad, me he sentido seguro y tranquilo Tanto por el cuidado del área como por la atención que se le dan a los residentes. Cómo en mi caso, que solicite el arreglo de las luces exteriores de la calle, lo cual fue atendido y solucionado. Por lo que recomiendo a cualquier persona vivir en esta comunidad por todo lo bueno que ofrece .

The complex is located on the hammocks lakeside trail which provides a safe and beautiful place to walk your dog, run and bike. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have really enjoyed living here for the past 3 years.

Amazing experience living at the hammocks, any issues have been resolved immediately. Excellent customer service and my favorite two are Rumy and Jessica always attentive.
