After a very stressful morning of driving and dealing with other unhelpful properties, walking into Cortland and working with Latifa was a breath of fresh air. She is exceptionally kind, friendly, and professional. She went completely above and beyond to look at different inventory options, play with the dates, and find a layout and timeline that perfectly fit my budget and needs. Her customer service is unmatched, and she is the main reason I fell in love with this property. If you tour here, ask for Latifa!

To the Cortland Dulles Management Team, I hope you are doing well. I am a resident of Apartment 13604-D and wanted to share a small suggestion along with appreciation for the community. Cortland Dulles is a beautiful and well-maintained place to live, and I truly appreciate the effort the management team puts into keeping the community comfortable and welcoming. I would kindly like to request the installation of bicycle stands or a dedicated bike parking area within the community, as currently there are no bicycle stands available at all. This creates difficulty for residents who own bicycles or e-bikes, especially for those living on upper floors and in apartments without balconies. Carrying bicycles upstairs every day can be physically challenging, particularly in buildings without elevators. Cycling is becoming increasingly popular for health, exercise, and environmentally friendly transportation. I was having plumbing issues in one of my bathrooms and called the office to request maintenance. I spoke with Will about scheduling someone to come by and take a look. Honestly, I thought I might get the runaround or be given an appointment weeks away, but Will was incredibly accommodating. He arranged for someone to come out within the hour to take care of the issue. I have to say, he was a lifesaver. When you get home from work and still have dinner to make, homework to help with, and kids to get ready for bed, a plumbing problem is the last thing you want to deal with. When the maintenance team arrived, they were very professional and clean. My problem was solved and my family and I returned back to our normal in no time. A special thanks to our maintenance team, Trey and Carti for such a quick response, fixing the problem, and cleaning up afterwards. A special shout out to Will, Trey, and Carti. I am a new resident at the property and was trying to log into my online account to pay my rent, but I was having some trouble. I have to admit that I’m not the most tech-savvy person. I decided to call the leasing office to see if someone could help, and I ended up speaking with Wendell. Wendell was extremely professional and very patient while assisting me through the process. I just had the best follow-up visit from Carti, the property maintenance manager. He stopped by my place to check on how everything was going after the installation of my new refrigerator when my old one unexpectedly died. He asked how the installation went and how the maintenance team did. I told him I was very grateful for how professional and respectful the team was. I’m very particular when it comes to people visiting my home, especially about keeping things clean and removing shoes. The maintenance crew came prepared with shoe covers, which I really appreciated. They worked efficiently, kept the area clean throughout the process, and made sure not to leave any debris behind when they finished. The entire experience—from the quick replacement to the follow-up visit—was excellent. Thank you to Carti and the maintenance team for their professionalism and attention to detail. It was truly a great experience.

I have lived at this property for four years, and in that time, I’ve seen changes in property ownership, management, and staff. However, I can confidentially say with absolute certainty that Kate Hammond is the best property manager this property has EVER had. Living somewhere for a long time gives you a real look at how a property is run, and Kate has been CONSISTENT, and a complete breath of fresh air. She is incredibly proactive, genuinely cares about the residents' experience, and has a level of professionalism that is rare to find. Whether it’s a quick question or a larger concern, she handles everything with a POSITIVE attitude and follows through every single time. She has helped turn this property around in ways that are nothing but beneficial for the residents. I have been living here for 5 years and we have thoroughly enjoyed living here! Julia at the leasing office is always kind and helpful and makes the experience wonderful. And James in the maintenance team recently helped us with our AC issues very promptly and professionally. We’ve enjoyed being here and all their kindness and quick responses!
