Lived in the building for more than a year, and had a really good experience. I didn’t have a car so never experienced any of the issues with the parking garage. My apartment felt so cozy, the view was amazing, never had issues with WiFi (but I know some neighbors did), insulation was great (barely turned AC or heating on), new appliances are so cool and can be controlled from your phone. The front desk staff is also super friendly. The only non-positive is some of the amenities like the gym being very small and the grills being accessible only in summer. Overall had a great time in this building.

Everything is very convenient starting from having access to secure building doors like gym, club room and lobby on the phone. If I have guests coming or left my key, I can easily access the door on my phone. The package pickup is also smooth, no need to wait someone to bring. You can pick up any time. Never had problem with it and is very convenient. Compared to other buildings, the inside of the apartment is spacious and number of tenants are small which means it has neighborly feel, and more private. The backyard/pool is even better. Large pool, direct sunlight to tan. Spacious, clean grilling area.

I love Cortland Arlington. It has been an amazing home for me and my boyfriend. It’s clean, rent is cheap and the people who work here are incredible. So helpful so personable and gracious 12/18/2025 update: amazing staff!!!!! And the buildings renovations are really cool too. It’s not always perfect, but they fix things immediately if anything ever gets broken.

I have moved in this building at the beginning of the year and really enjoy it so far. The staff is always very nice and the amenities are good too. The neighboorhood is a real plus with many shops, activities and restaurants accessible walking distance. There’s also a bike station just in front of the building and a metro 6 min walk distance

My GF and moved to Cortland Arlington 6 months ago and we have nothing but great reviews! We have loved the location of the building within Arlington. Easy access to metro, shopping, entertainment, and more! The concierge staff day and night are friendly knowledgable with any questions we have had. They always great you with a smile and a welcome home after work. We highly recommend moving here!

Living at Cortland Arlington has been a wonderful experience. The leasing office and staff manage the building very well. It’s a pleasure to call Cortland Arlington our home. Our unit has great lighting and is perfectly fitting for a couple. Residential events and activities are organized every week and it gives us an opportunity to interact with our neighbors.

I’ve been living in this apartment for 3 months and honestly, it’s been great. The view is amazing, and there’s so much natural sunlight throughout the day—it really makes the place feel warm and cozy. The big windows and spacious balcony are definitely a plus, especially when the weather’s nice. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and it’s super convenient having the metro and parks close by. Whether I need to get somewhere quickly or just want to take a walk and unwind. The building is a bit older, but the management puts in the effort to keep things running smoothly and make sure residents are happy. All in all, it’s a really comfortable and convenient place to live—I’m glad I found it

The new management has really done wonders for this place, things are getting done and the communication between them and us residents is leaps and bounds ahead of where it previously was. Even going as far as bringing in a wonderful maintenance team from Texas (it's been the same guys twice now) who are extremely courteous and personable, while fixing issues we've been complaining about for months , in a matter of minutes. I am finally glad to call Arlington my home, well done cortland.

I was able to view 3 types of available apartments that I was looking for and I was impressed with them all - the Clarendon was by favorite! Apartment has been recently renovated, is clean and organized and quiet.

The building is amazing after the renovations. They have a nice lounge area with an incredible coffee machine. My apartment is exactly what I wanted. Move in was smooth, but if you have a large trailer immediately turn right into the loading area when you enter. The rest of the garage is not 12 feet of clearance. The pool is great with a life guard on staff. Staffers are friendly and easy to talk to about issues. All my minor concerns have been quickly fixed.

I was in DC and I visited some friends and this property is amazing. It has everything that a professional would want. I got on the elevator and not knowing there were the super nice people just chatting away to me. Come to find out they were the office staff they didn’t know me and I didn’t know them, but the property is beautiful. The staff is professional and very friendly even if you weren’t looking for an apartment apparently, thanks so much Cortland

Entire Cortland Arlington staff has been such a treat to work with. I have lived with Cortland Arlington communities since 2022. It was the best experience I have had with an apartment. The staff takes care of the tenants and the buildings are well maintained. Maintenance responds promptly to requests. The staff helped me with other things too, I would to thank Mr.Patrick Devine,he is cares so much about the tenants and the building and it’s was so kind, and always friendly. All in all, highly recommend living here.

Have been living here for about 6 months and have had a great experience thus far! Management is easy to get ahold of and quick to respond to inquiries & maintenance requests. Patrick is especially helpful!! Currently in a 1/1 and the size in comparison to other apartments near by is unmatched - huge living room & bedroom. It’s located in the perfect area! It takes me less than 10 to get to DC, Pentagon, Ballston. There’s a bunch of restaurants, grocery store, cvs, target and cafes walking distance.

The apartments are very spacious, with walk-in closets. Lots of natural sunlight on my 11th floor apartment due to the balcony window taking up an entire wall. The icing on the cake is the sauna in the gym.

I completed a walk-in tour of this community, and I will say even though the building is outdated the staff definitely make up for it. For starters Patrick the manager is so friendly and personable he made me feel so welcomed. Makayla their leasing agent is so knowledgeable, she made sure to relay all necessary information regarding their renovation plans. Although out of my budget I am certainly excited to come back and view the building once updated. I will most definitely recommend the building to anyone looking to reside in the rosslyn area. Great team here 10/10 :)

As a new graduate student, this is the first apartment that I've lived in without roommates, in a completely new city, many hours from my home town. I thought that I would be on my own out here, but Arlington Apartments has made me feel right at home. The staff, led by Patrick Devine, also including Tamika, Mikayla, and others, has been incredibly helpful in assisting my transition to this new apartment. They have helped me set up my account for making payments, submitting service requests, and viewing my utility bills. The staff has also been very helpful in answering my questions regarding subleasing, parking, and more. The best part about the community here, though, is how polite the staff is. The personal interactions I've made with Patrick, Tamika, Mikayla, and other staff members here are stronger than any that I have made at past apartment complexes. I came from an apartment just up the block. That building had a major rent increase, and I could not afford it. I moved into Arlington Apts this summer, 2022 and it was so economical to be in Rosslyn. It has HUGE Apts, closets, and balconies that almost wrap around the whole apt, and it is well-lit due to all the glass doors. The staff is amicable and friendly. Patrick Devine cares so much about the tenants and the building. Anything you need is handled within minutes, and he is super helpful. Maintenance is amazing. If you put in a ticket, it literally happens that day. Eddy literally bends over backwards with any issue. I LOVE the location; so close to Georgetown and Rosslyn. Overall, it's a great apt, and I love it!

My time here was super enjoyable. Great location, amazing amenities (pool, billiards/rec room, gym, scenic balcony), and a truly outstanding front desk. Leasing (Patrick), concierge, maintenance - everyone was friendly and helpful beyond my wildest expectations. The apartment itself was spacious and modern. If I move back to Rosslyn, this is precisely where I'm looking to stay.

Cortland Arlington is in a great location. This is our second time staying here for an extended period. The staff are friendly, helpful, and engaging. Any service requests are handled promptly. Our apartment is clean and comfortable, though perhaps not as "modern" as some in the area, but we believe renovation plans are underway. A win-win!
