I love my apartment, the amenities, & how conveniently located North Haven is to everything, while also being tucked away on a side street for more of a neighborhood feel than complexes directly off 290 or other major roads. What truly sets Cortland North Haven apart from most other apartment communities, though, is their staff. While other communities may have 1 or 2 staff members that are great, everyone at Cortland North Haven has been wonderful for all 6 years I've lived here now - the manager Sheila, Brooke'Lyn & Eddy in the leasing office, Alonzo & the rest of the maintenance & make-ready team (sorry, I don't know all of their names). They truly make Cortland feel more like a home & a community than simply just an apartment complex.

When searching for an apartment home, customer service off the bat when walking into the office is always my first thing and Brookelyn was honestly just the best! She is very knowledgeable and very welcoming! The community itself gives a home like feeling but she just reassured that feeling! Thankful to call it my home!

I was here visiting a friend at the pool and I was surprised how well kept the community is! Not to mention the attached garages really do help with parking. We currently live in a house and if we had to move to an apartment this would be a contender!

The property simply speaks for itself when you walk in! This property feels like I am honestly living in a house instead of a traditional apartment community since it is only 2 stories high and has an attached garage every unit! The staff is the icing on the cake from the leasing manager Brookelyn to the assistant Eddie and the property manager Sheila! Happy to call it home!

Honestly a great experience living here! Clean, mostly quiet; management seems to want to keep this place nice and comfortable to live in. Maintenance team is INCREDIBLE!!! There were cockroaches when we moved in but we were able to get rid of them pretty fast.

I truthfully feel this apartment improved with the change of management. Maintenance does a good job with fixing repairs when necessary, it’s a friendly community and the front office employees are amazing. I sincerely recommend this apartment, especially if your looking for relatively quite area with closer access to the domain and arboretum stores.

New maintenance manager John's been doing an awesome job. AC wasn't working one night, put a request in at 9pm and he was over within the hour to fix it and he doesn't even live on property. Overall, this is a great place to live and is conveniently located to many areas. Some services could be updated, and the building has the capability of Acquiring and implementing new technologies to update resident experience. The building is relatively new. It could and should be updated. It would make this apartment complex light years above any other property in the entire area, because it’s the only thing that’s lacking. Access to cameras. More security could be implemented.

Had such a great experience touring here. The staff was so friendly- the front office was super clean. We loved the common areas (pool etc) definitely hope to enjoy some summer days by the pool especially since this spot seemed pretty quiet compared to other apts we have looked at. Also a bonus to have a dog park which will definitely be utilizing. Excited to be living at such a beautiful community. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the market for an apt in this area !

Overall, my experience at Cortland has been amazing. The complex is normally very quiet compared to every other apartment I have lived in. The people in the front office are AMAZING. They will always stop what they are doing to go above and beyond to help you. Any problems I have have been taken care of super quickly. Every time I walk in the office Robbie greets me by name and goes above and beyond to make my experience great. Robbie is hands down the best apartment manager. Every employee at Cortland is so nice and so helpful. Finally, the space is always well kept, clean, and new. I love all of the spaces, but still they never stop improving (renovating the front office, investing in new pool furniture, getting Amazon drop boxes in an attempt to reduce lost packages , etc).

The quality of communication and speed of phone and email responses from the the office team was unbelievable compared to some of the other places we looked at. The location is perfect for people that like to be in the hustle and bustle of Austin. It is super quiet in the buildings. The apartment was super clean when we looked at it. Great friendly responsive management staff ! Robbie is the representative from Cortland we worked with closely from day one. Robbie is a very professional Manager and has been nothing but amazing. The number one need for us was a Great location... WE got it here!! Other things we enjoy would be the nice window views, large master bedroom, and very large kitchen for apartments. We have the best and friendliest neighbors who we have became close with. We can go away knowing all maintenance indoor and outdoor will be taken care of with good men and those we can trust..... lovely club house , pool and gym all in great shape. Cortland has passed all my expectations in living in Austin. Highly Recommended!

Cortland arboretum is the best apartment complex I’ve lived at so far. The are friendly and very clean. It is a really quiet place. No loud neighbors. Pet friendly, they have a beautiful little dog park. Maintenance is absolutely the best. James does a great job every time he has needed to fix something for me. And it never takes long for them to take care of repairs. The building amenities are to die for the new club house is wonderful. I highly recommend this place. You won’t regret it!!

Guys, I went to view this property and loved it. The property was so beautiful and I can't wait to use the pool this summer. It was so clean and quiet and me feel right at home. My favorite amenities were the location and the luxury style setting, specifically hardwood floors.

There is no other rental property in Austin I’d rather live. Cortland has beautifully finished out units w/ lux spacious bathrooms & exceptionally large closets. The property itself is also gorgeous with well manicured and maintained courtyards and Garden Park areas and new state-of-the-art gym & clubhouse!

The property is in the center of everything, but with none of the traffic! It is walking distance to 5 different grocery stores, movie theaters, Truluck's, Eddie V's & countless other restaurants, Target, Nordstrom RACK, HomeGoods, Milk & Honey Spa, LifeTime Fitness, and the Domain is just down the block. The units are spacious with lux modern finishes, the new clubhouse and pool deck are gorgeous; and I am in LOVE with the new gym!

Maintenance is always quick to respond. The staff in the front office are communicative. The community is currently undergoing a lot of renovation, but even so, communication of any unforeseen complications has been great. I’ve had a great experience living here. Any issues typically are due to residents, not management.

This management is definitely better than the last but some concerns persist like the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night. However, the team members are good and doing their best. I’d like to give a shout out to Ken York who is always pleasant to work with and quickly addresses grievances. He's very approachable and always has a solution.

Ken York quickly addresses service requests and makes living here worthwhile. My apartment was flooded while i was away for Christmas and Ken immediately called me and did what was needed to fix the damage including putting a dehumidifier in my home. I've never had to wait over two days for any service request

I would strongly recommend this community to anyone who is interested. The maintenance supervisor Ken is extremely knowledgeable and fixed my heater fast. I was very worried since my cats were at home without heat, but he was able to fix the heater on the same day. Definitely choose this community at your next home. 10 out of 10.

I lived here for almost two years. The first year was so so because the previous manager didn’t care much about the property. However, the new management team is amazing. They constantly stay in touch with residents and keep everyone up to date with service/construction issue around the property. They regularly remind residents about the community rules and regulations. The apartments are nice and modern. I never had any problem with my unit. My only issue was the noise. Since the floors between the two units are thin and you can hear upstairs neighbors stamping around ( it could be just my upstairs neighbor). I know the management can’t do anything about it because it’s build that way. I will definitely recommend this place. Robbie and her team are doing amazing job. Thank you for making Cortland a great place to live.

Cortland Arboretum has been a nice and quiet place to live at. They have good amenities, such as a well-sized gym, pool area, and a decent-sized dog park. Lockers for package pickup have also been installed. The location of the complex is very convenient as far as access to groceries/other shopping. Daily digest emails and updates on happenings at the complex are provided in a timely manner, and the staff has been very helpful.

After living here for a few months, my account of this place is as being pretty great. The grounds and amenities are very nice, the staff is friendly, the parking garage is fairly secure. I've seen no evidence of theft or vandalism. The maintenance is responsive, and the overall look of the complex is very pleasing. I am aware COURTLAND has taken over recently and have made massive overall improvements. The location is great and pricing relatively reasonable. The rooms are nice and fresh, new appliances, spacious bathroom. Overall it is so nice and quiet, I am pleased to reside here.

Put in a few standard maintenance requests and the turn around time was 48hrs. My last place in this same area took on average 3-5weeks. I’m so impressed with the progress this place is making under new management. Angel was friendly, informative and addressed each request quickly. Thanks Angel!!

Excellent location. Excellent management team. New ownership is making some big changes, a little slow to complete, but things are coming together. Fresh paint, new and updated amenities, faster maintenance response times, cleaner grounds, etc. can walk to Whole Foods, target, and many shops and restaurants. Close to 360 greenbelts for hiking and biking.

To be honest, I had huge hesitation before I moving in. The bad reviews were all over because of the previous owner, and I moved in right after Cortland took over. I decided to lease because i could not resist the location, best price with this location I believe, what’s more is, all the staffs are friendly and I can see all the updates they are doing little by little. I would say so far everything is pretty smooth.

Don't let the reviews of this place discourage you. The previous owners/management is 100% to blame for the 3.2 rating. This property just went through an ownership and management change about a month ago, and let me tell you it has made ALL of the difference. Maintenance requests are being responded to quickly, the office staff is always available to answer your questions, emergency after hours maintenance is being answered within an hour, and the renovations and landscape improvements have made such a huge difference. Robbie and her whole staff are fantastic, respectful, and timely. They have truly made all of the difference to my experience and I am happy to be apart of this community.

I lived here for 28 months and left only because I just wanted to move somewhere closer to my new job. I'm very sad to see my neighbors had negative experiences living here; everyone deserves to feel comfortable and safe in their home. I can only give my honest experience, and I luckily didn't have any major issues living here and I'm thankful for that. PROS: - Really amazing location, walking distance from Whole Foods, Target, Panera, Sprouts, etc. and short drive to Arbor Walk, The Arboretum, and The Domain. - Great interior. - Price was very comfortable for me. - Really nice pool. - Covered parking for everyone. - Community Managers are nice. CONS: - Maintenance can sometimes be slow, but as I said I very luckily only had minor issues like a refrigerator filter replacement, hard to reach small light bulbs, etc. that I could have replaced myself and they probably were tending to more important things first. - Garage can be a little tight, especially since some residents had very large trucks that would jut
