My wife and I relocated to the DC area this summer, and Kenneth made a long-distance move far easier than it had any right to be. He walked us through multiple video tours so we could choose an apartment without being there in person. When there were mistakes on the sales side, he emailed the right people on our behalf and got them sorted out. What was a hectic and stressful move that had to happen in a hurry, his help made possible. What really stands out is that his help didn't stop once we signed the lease. We've been here two months, and he's still the person we know we can count on whenever an issue comes up. Just last week he helped us get a storage unit after none had been available for months. We love the apartment and the location, and especially how dog-friendly the community is. We've met so many great fellow dog owners here. I lived here for a short time and really enjoyed my apartment complex. HONEST REVIEW (from a currently disgruntled tenant) : - The front office is excellent (except for a random dude that works some Saturdays-not Cameron, he's great-that makes empty promises and never follows up) - The insides of the buildings almost always smell like dog piss - The apartment complex does NOT vet animals or screen them in any way and there are multiple aggressive/not well controlled dogs on the premises. - The pool and jacuzzi area is awesome except not always well kept with tons of bugs often floating in the ill-cleaned waters. - The elevator is broken 60-75% of the time, so living on the 3rd or 4th floor is a pain. - Parking is great and you can almost always find a spot. If you can't street parking is nearby. - They throw a lot of events and bring in food trucks which is a nice touch. - My wifi hasn't been working in over a month due to a coax that the apartment claimed wasn't their responsibility but after many attempts for clarification, they found out it was. That really sucks and still do

This is going to be a long review, but worth reading. First, I want to say that moving is hard. Moving to a completely new place comes with a lot of challenges, bumps, and unexpected situations. In my case, there were definitely moments when I felt overwhelmed and didn’t know how everything was going to work out. But in the end, Cortland made what felt like an impossible move possible. This was my first experience with Cortland. Before moving in, I saw the mixed reviews and understood that every apartment community will have its issues. I’m someone who is a problem solver. What stood out to me about Cortland was teamwork. From leasing to management and everyone involved behind the scenes, people worked with me, accommodated me, listened to me, and helped me through a very difficult transition. I honestly don’t believe my move would have been possible without the Cortland team. I had the most exceptional experience meeting Dessi and looking at the apartment complex. Everything was amazing, but the best was the service Dessi gave us as we walked and all the way to the end. I visited one of They’re Competitors, 30 minutes after meeting with her and the experience was horrendous. Nowhere near the excellent service that Desi provided. By far the best apartment complex that I have ever lived in that I will be extremely reluctant to leave. The front office people are all amazing (especially Austin) and proactive/helpful. The property is always super clean (and safe), and everything is well-maintained. This complex also has the best maintenance team of anywhere I've lived. They are all extremely kind, understanding, and efficient. I am especially fond of Gaspar, who treats all of us like we're an extension of his family. He has dropped everything to come help me during late night maintenance emergencies, and I couldn't be more grateful for him. I love it here!

I signed a one year lease but had to move out early due to relocation, the whole leasing team including Macey, Rama is really friendly and very helpful. Overall, I had a great time living in the property, which is newly renovated and is wonderfully located in the heart of pentagon city. Macey is a great manager and she really takes care of all the residents and very easy to work with. If I ever come back to DC, I will live here again.

I’ve been living here for about 9 months now, and overall, I’ve had a very good experience. It’s a great community with excellent amenities, including a swimming pool, gym, and Amazon lockers. The management team communicates well about community events, maintenance issues, reminders, and important alerts. The maintenance service is excellent and, most importantly, very prompt. My apartment’s AC unit broke down in the middle of a Texas summer, on a weekend. Since they needed to order a replacement part, the repair couldn’t be completed until Monday. However, instead of simply asking me to wait, they provided a temporary portable AC unit and even came out to install it. Things can break in any apartment, but I really appreciate how they handled the situation and provided a practical temporary solution instead of excuses.

This is a very nice building and is in a good location. But the staff is what really makes it great! Everyone in the office is very kind and responsive to whatever your needs may be. I worked a lot with Rama when I first moved in. She was so helpful on one of the most stressful days of my life. She answered every question before I even thought to ask it. Also, she takes the time to speak/greet me every time I see her, which is always appreciated! Malik in the office is also very helpful and helped address an issue quickly and without any delay!

Besides the nightmare of trying to get them to fully fix my AC (6 temporary fixes and many complaints) it’s actually pretty quiet and nice. Parking structure is a little inconvenient if you are on the top floors and package delivery is a little problematic but otherwise I think 4/5 is about right.

I moved to Cortland Allen Station back in September and have loved everything about it since! The place is consistently clean and has lots of amenities along with it. The leasing office, especially Kimberly and Lady, have been extremely helpful with my move-in process and making this place feel like home. Maintenance is also very quick to respond to any request. Lastly, the location of this apartment is very nice as it is located right next to highway 75. Additionally, there are lots of restaurants, grocery stores, and furniture stores within 5 minutes of driving!

If I could rate 10 stars, I would! I’ve been here for 2 months, but the service before move in was exceptional. Kevin assisted me with my tour. He was very knowledgeable and nice. Kimberly assisted me with the application process and several other issues (she’s great!!). Shout out to Lady Martinez as well. The neighborhood is great, amenities are always accessible according to their operation times. Complex is clean (maintenance mops the halls weekly). This is great especially since this is a pet-friendly complex. Maintenance is fast and efficient. I have no complaints for the staff or complex and will find it hard to find a better apartment within the same price range & withholds the same excellent service. Only thing is I wish residents wouldn’t speed in the parking garage.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kimberly, one of the leasing agents, and she was absolutely wonderful — friendly, professional, and made the whole visit feel easy and enjoyable. I also happened to stop by right in time for one of their monthly events, which was such a fun surprise! You can tell the team really cares about creating a community where people feel like they belong. Definitely gave me that “this is home” feeling!

I've never lived at a complex with such an amazing service team. On various occasions, Chris, Daniel, Julio, and Joel have gone above and beyond with their work. Whether it be holding the elevator for me when they see me waddling around with too many groceries in my hands, explaining to me maintenance prevention tips, or simply communicating about the status of my request, it's been great to experience a service team that cares.

We moved here two months ago. We had some hiccups with the contract and its revision which took sometime to sort out, but we have been very happy with the amenities and the high quality that the living spaces have. Corridors are neat and clean. Thee is ample parking g space. The pool is kept clean and usable for the last two months that we have been here. I think the company is doing a good job keep the place in shape.

I have just requested a service for AC issues we were very worried if any maintenance shies up after hours but surely, a maintenance guy called Joel shows up after hours and diagnoses and fixes. I’ve lived at Cortland Allen Station for over three years, and it’s truly one of the most comfortable and convenient apartment communities I’ve experienced. The property is consistently clean, peaceful, and well maintained. One of the standout aspects of living here is the exceptional service provided by the maintenance staff. They’re always available and remarkably responsive to work orders. I’d especially like to recognize Julio Lainez, who has helped me with everything from minor fixes to more involved requests throughout my time here. Not only is he highly skilled and efficient, but he also brings a consistently pleasant demeanor and upbeat attitude to every interaction. His professionalism and warmth make even the most inconvenient maintenance issues something I don’t mind dealing with. At the end of the day, it’s the people who make a place truly special—and Julio is absolutely one of those people. Well done, Julio.

Living here was great. The only complaints that made them lose 1 star is that during the summer the pool area can be loud (even at night) and during the winter sometimes the freezing temperatures make the fire alarm go off (multiple times per day, maybe 3-5 days out of the year)

My husband and I have lived here since August 2024. In the past 7 months, we have experienced nothing but positive things from Cortland Allen Station and the staff! The front office staff always have a positive attitude, and they are EXCITED to help you resolve any questions or concerns. We’ve hosted an event in the clubhouse, and everything went smoothly. The cleaning staff do an amazing job at keeping the building looking and smelling great! We’ve put in two “service” orders including an Ethernet connection and lightbulb replacement. Both of these were resolved same-day. We have not experienced ANY bugs (not even an ant) since we’ve been here. We live on the third floor next to the trash chute for reference. All of my neighbors are super friendly, too! This community is a great place to live if you prioritize convenience, safety, and comfortability. After living in three other apartments, my husband and I have finally lucked out with Allen Cortland Station!

Leah is extremely exceptional. Although I was unable to move in due to family issues, Leah took the time to answer all of my questions, and help me find a rental house in the area. The property is very nice and well maintained. I highly recommend this community and Leah to all my friends and family!

I moved here at the end of December after 30 years in a large house. Initially, I was worried about living in an apartment, but I honestly feel like I live in a resort. My relationship with Leah, makes me feel part of a family; she always greets me with a smile and listens to my needs. The community offers everything I need; the grills by the pool, where I love to make dinner by the fountains and relax with friends or alone. I also appreciate the various WiFi-enabled work areas and relaxing spots to go work when I just need a change of environment. The dog-friendly complex features a professional grooming area and a lit dog run, plus a nearby park for walks and play. The friendly atmosphere fosters a strong sense of community, making this a wonderful place to live. We recently moved into this apartment and we absolutely love everything about it! The appliances in the apartment are modern and interiors are great! We needed to coordinate a lot of things virtually before the move and Kyara was extremely supportive of all our needs during the process. The location is accessible to Target, HEB, Homegoods and some restaurants. There’s also a walking trail just outside the apartment that leads a lake. We are so excited to call this our new home!

I’ve lived here with my wife for about 3 weeks and have nothing but positive things to say. It truly does feel like a resort when experiencing the pool and community areas. The business center is a brilliant addition and the conference room is even more so. I can work from home comfortably in any of these areas, or just relax. Service requests are addressed extremely quickly. Daniel, the Service Manager, is extremely responsive and quick to work. He was able to terminate our Ethernet connections to our internet box the same day we put the service request in, and he actually follows up with tenants if the tenant has a conflict in scheduling for service. We’ve got 12 months to go in our lease, but nothing but positive marks currently. I’m confident we’re gonna keep loving it here and likely renew our lease!!

Moved in 2 weeks ago - so far great. Shout out to the maintenance team, especially Daniel, they response really fast. One afternoon I found a wasp net and submitted, it's removed the same day, and my other internet problem was solved on the next day (by Daniel). Great guys.

Amazing place to live! The staff goes the extra mile for you to make sure you are happy. Best apartment complex I lived in! Sadly im moving from this location, but going to the Sky Rise Cortland in Downtown Dallas and I’m excited for that one as well. I will only stay at Cortland because they know how to make their residents happy! Never had an issue living here, everyone always took care of me. Thank you guys it was an amazing experience

Like to take another opportunity to brag about the staff here at Cortland Allen Station, specifically Lady, Karwan and Julio. I recently reported a couple of maintenance issues and before I could get them entered through the resident portal, Lady informed me she entered them for me. Maintenance personnel responded very quickly. While in my apartment taking care of the initial issues, Karwan and Julio took it upon themselves to help me get some other furniture put together. The two of them went above and beyond, which seems to be the motto of Cortland Allen Station.

Angel has gone out of her way on several occasions to help me with several issues. Recently she helped me track down a missing package. She stopped what she was doing and searched the Luxor area and then the mail room. When we couldn't find it, she helped me file a claim with Fed Ex for the lost package. She is always so nice and friendly and very helpful. I so appreciate her kindness.

Kyara was incredibly helpful, giving us a thorough tour of all the units we were interested in and showing us the great amenities. Although we ultimately didn't choose this place for personal reasons, Kyara went above and beyond by refunding us half of the application fee we had already paid.
