I've lived here for over 6 years now. Of course , there's been a lot of changes with the staff, both in the office as well as in the maintenance department. For the most part, the changes that have been for the betterment of us all. Today I'd like to give my Flowers of appreciation to the Manager of the Maintenance & service department, Mr. Eddie Armond ( unsure of spelling). Recently, Mr. Eddie has been so very helpful in assisting me with several large ticket issues that arose all at the same time!! Normal wear & tear occurred with the majority of the major appliances in my apartment. Especially with me living here for 6 years and the tenants prior to my arrival. Things were breaking down. Normally Management would try to put a "band-aid" on the problem, or ignore the issue until it becomes a huge problem that could no longer be ignored. This wasn't the case with Mr. Eddie. Once I completed the appropriate service requests & I requested the Managers in the Office to come to my apartment to view my concerns

We recently moved into the placed, assisted by Morgan griffin the move was smooth sailing. we did come across a coupke of things that wasn’t operating when we made the move but the maintenance tech Rock did everything in his power to fix it and now there are no problems to report and i think we’ll really like it here!

Rock is absolutely amazing. My oven door was accidentally broken and as a result the oven became unusable. Due to time temperature control I was in a really tight time frame to get the food that is now prepped cooked. 15 minutes total completion starting from the moment I expressed my concerns with office Management. He is hands down the best. I been here 3 years and he has always attended to any issues promptly. Having him leading his team is the best decision the complex could have made. Rock is your best decision. Really hope you see what a value to your culture he truly is.

I honestly love this place. My boyfriend and I were coming from a nightmare scenario at our last apartment complex, so we had high anxieties and hopes coming into Sardis. We were so relieved when we walked into our new home. Our unit was clean with no issues besides an older dryer, which was replaced immediately! It’s spacious and tucked away while still right off 74. It’s a great location surrounded by greenery. The pool is gorgeous. Trash is picked up daily for us. Cindy is super responsive and helpful as well. We’re super happy here and couldn’t be more grateful. 🏡 *********** Update after living here for several months - we are still very pleased! There is the occasional palmetto cockroach and we've had issues with ants as well (ground floor unit), but pest control is great and our unit is not infested. The type + amount of pests we experience are to be expected at any place where there's lots of people residing. The only thing I would strongly recommend is to move on the top floor. 03/01/2024. The last few weeks have been troublesome in my apartment. Everything needed either to be fixed or replaced. The gentleman in Maintenance, ROCK, aided & assisted me with Everything!!!. Although several outside vendors were required to complete the work, Rock’s presence was Always known and available. The installers of the Microwave left it untidy. Rock stayed to ensure my home was restored, including vacuuming,. Good workers may be hard to find, but Sardis at Matthews doesn’t have that problem. They have Rock. I've been now living here for close to five years. I love my apartment. It has its ups and downs. Just like every other home in the world. However, maintenance comes and does their best to repair whatever situation you have properly and professionally. I renewed my lease. Therefore, I must be comfortable and happy here. It is a very nice place to live quiet and in a crazy world I have a measure of safety here. The amenities on the facility are excellent. Kia, which works in the front office,

Overall our experience with Sardis place had been good. There isn't a lot of noise from neighbors partially due to the way the units are laid out. The updated units have nice floors and countertops. Spacious master bedroom in the 2 bdrm units. The water has been shut off numerous times for almost a whole day, but apparently some of those times were to prevent having to do that in the future. The maintenance people are great. Rock especially, he's been out to help us a few times and was always a pleasure to interact with and resolved issues quickly. I'd recommend this complex. Just don't rent a unit on the second or third floor facing 74. The road noise is terrible.

I give Rock, the Senior Tech, 5 stars for his amiability, skill, and speed for completing work requests. He fixed my dish washer and washing machine within a day of filling out the request! I however would rate the apartment complex as a whole 3/5 stars. Trash builds up around the trash compactor, my roommate's car was stolen on site, and they shut off the water for the entire complex for maintenance practically every other week. Yes, management is addressing the issues - the dumpster area has been clean for the past week or two, they caught the car thieves, and Rock and his team is installing water valves in each building so they don't have to shut off the water for the entire complex when fixing one leak. I do think this will be a 4 or 4.5 star apartment complex in the near future.

We just moved into Sardis place about a month ago. We love it here so far! The apartment is beautiful and was newly renovated. We needed maintenance on our dishwasher and it was so easy to put in a service request. Rock responded very quickly and walked us through the whole process since we needed a new one. He is very friendly and professional. When he is working in the apartment he leaves everything the way he found it always working very neatly. Decent place to live. I had a lot of issues over my year here (particularly on move-in), but Thomas and Rock were great in handling the issues and they were all addressed. Most service requests get addressed within a 1-3 days. Gym is relatively small, so don't cancel your gym if you have one. Pool can get crowded since it's relatively small. Overall, a decent apartment for a good price

I moved in recently to this property and so far so good. Kaelyn has been super helpful with my move-in process. I loved how they changed everything in the apartment. New flooring, new fridge. the apartment was deep cleaned when I moved in. I love the fact that it is a smoke free community, no weed or cigarettes smell. Special thanks to Kia, she is super helpful and delightful since we’ve moved in last year, very responsive! Also, the new girl in the office (I’m not sure her name :( ) and Doreen, they are very friendly and helpful as well! Also the maintenance group did very good job to maintain our living environment great and clean! Would recommend people to live here! There’s a minor thing that would be better if done, the pool somehow is not super clean (some bugs and leafs in it but understandable because sometimes there was raining), it would be great if they can clean up the pool every day.

I enjoy staying at Sardis Place. I just did my lease renewal and Kia was so delightful and helpful. I’ve only had a few issues that needed to be addressed by maintenance and they got everything fixed either that day or the next.

I lived in Sardis place for 14 months by myself. As a single women I wanted to ensure I had a safe place to live. I stayed on the first floor. The community was fairly quiet. I didn’t even never meet my neighbors. I was able to have family over and no complaints. The amenities were nice. The gym is fairly small. The lounge area is also small but very convenient. The pool was beautiful great place to entertain and the grill are a great add on. The neighbors are truly friendly and take turns well. Community clean and garbage picks up only when placed correctly and tied up. Packages are not protected and sometimes stolen. Ever any maintenance issues call the hotline instead of office or do it through the app. I went away for five days car was stolen when returned. That was my biggest issue in the complex. But I won’t blame the complex I had a Kia and the KIA BOYS WERE OUT. So that was just an unfortunate event. But that happened August. I loved the apartment it was spacious very quiet . Nice office, workout room, and pool, but apartment is not like model. Things are broke, missing, and ours is a smaller than model. Neighbors, the few I've met, are nice, friendly, and helpful.

JAY SANTOS NATERA is absolutely outstanding! I'm finally able to take a free moment to give her the feedback she deserves and my overall move in experience. I'm completely blown away! The warm and inviting welcome I received from day one of simply calling to inquire was EXCEPTIONAL! Jay explained the application process, called to speak about my approval and then walked me all the way through the process. I could see the care and attention to detail that is given to cleanliness and customer service. The lobby and amenity areas are immaculate! The staff are beyond friendly - CHICK-FIL-A style friendly and helpful! That means a lot! My apartment was clean and had no issues upon moving in and Jay made sure I had everything i needed at the walkthrough and after my move in. I even appreciated my gift bag! It was so cute. Kevin with the maintenance team really did a great job. My ceiling in the kitchen was leaking and he jumped right in to fix the issue. He checked on it daily until it was fixed and dried so he could paint over the area. He was friendly and very professional the entire time. Thank you!!

Kevin has been helping me with a few issues I’ve had the past couple of weeks. The biggest one was NO WASHER! Seems the one we had went kaput, which happens. I understood he needed to order a part to install which would take a few days, he came by early evening Friday and had good news! He knew it was important to have a working machine since I was leaving the next day. He worked solo to get me up a running. Unknown to me, he installed a whole new washer!! It was raining and cold and he still went above and beyond for us. Get more Kevins! :) We are very thankful for him.

I love living here . The staff is very impressive . Always friendly and go out of their way to accommodate the residents . The maintenance staff is always friendly , professional and very knowledgeable. Today I had an AC issue and Kevin came to my rescue . He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. While he was here he was kind enough to replace bulbs in my bathroom and reached my vents and make sure that they were open and operating appropriately before he left .

I had an issue with my AC . It turned out that all my vents were closed . It must have happened when they were chocking chimneys and vents but I was unaware and did not recognize what a simple fix it was . Kevin from maintenance was much more than gracious and tried very hard to make me not feel like the fool that I felt I was . He even replaced bulbs in my bathroom while he was here .

Our apartment has a fireplace, a refrigerator with a temperature alarm, a new stove, and a washer and dryer just off the kitchen. Complex amenities include two pools, a volleyball area, picnic tables, charcoal grills, gas grills, and a fitness center. Community activities are scheduled from time to time with food brought in by local restaurants or food trucks. Package deliveries are secure and can be picked up either at the office or in secure lockers. The grounds are well kept. The community provides valet trash removal service 5 days each week, and pest removal can be scheduled with a quick phone call or online request. Maintenance requests are completed within 24 hours, sooner for emergencies. The layout of our apartment suits us perfectly, and we enjoy the added perk of a patio area just outside our living room. I love living here it's so peaceful and quiet. Never any issues. The front office staff is amazing - Daniel, Emily, Alicia, Jessica, and Johnathan. Each are very friendly with every encounter I've had with them, especially Daniel. The pool area is very nice and saltwater pool, by the way. Each unit included washer and dryer and bluetooth speakers in the kitchen. Plus they have a larger patio then any other apartment I've stayed at. Highly recommend this place.

I was very impressed with how professional and pleasant Daniel was. We saw a beautiful 2 bedroom and wow... I absolutely loved the space and the way it was decorated. I could imagine my furnishings in there. The grounds are very well kept and the pool is gorgeous. Looks like a resort pool. Very impressed.

I have been living here for about 3 months. The neighborhood is safe, and quiet. The move in process was very smooth, and everyone from the leasing office to maintenance is always very friendly. My only complaint is that the hot water doesn't last long enough for me to take a relaxing shower.

Initially I was displeased with the experience that i’d had with Sardis Place. After speaking with the current Property Manager Jessica she was able to restore my trust in Cortland Properties. She was empathetic, sincere and reactionary when it came to resolving my concerns. I am aware that the issues i experienced were prior to her leadership and glad we had the opportunity to talk.

I love living at Sardis Place! The office and maintenance staff are extremely helpful! I had a terrible moving company and the office and maintenance made the transition much easier. They are very responsive whenever I have an issue. They were even proactive when they noticed my water bill was higher than normal. Thank you all!!

I appreciate the staff here at Sardis Place. Maintenance always takes care of any problem I may have. The pool area is always clean and suitable for my 5 year old. Office staff is kind and professional. I never see trash outside on our property.

A good nice place to start a home has enough of people here, that if you have a need for help, questions or some kind of services there should be someone who would be able and willing to help you out in your situation no matter what the problem may be or check at the office, they are willing to help. If they can't, maybe they can send you in the right direction for help.
