I really enjoyed my time here. Sasha and team did everything they could to make our residence here enjoyable. Service requests were always resolved quickly. The complex is extremely quiet and alp of the neighbors are very friendly. The resident events put on by the apartment staff were great and unlike anything else I have experienced at an apartment complex before. If you are looking for a place to rent, I couldn’t recommend cortland more.

Safest and quietest community in Marietta. Prices are not outrageous and 99.9% of your neighbors are clean and respectful. Never smell any drugs and the community is secured well. My partner and I moved in December of last year and our first couple months at Cortland Watermark have been fantastic! Allison at the front desk was extraordinarily helpful with the move in process and let us tour the unit we’re currently living in! She answered all of our questions and followed up with us throughout! The community is gorgeous and we haven’t had any issues with our unit that weren’t fixed promptly with maintenance :)

I love this property so much! The location is beautiful but the staff are amazing 🤩 superstars!! I sold my home over the holidays and had nowhere to go. Allison was so kind and attentive and very patient explaining everything to me and how to use the online portal to process all of my new lease transactions. Allison even went above and beyond and cleaned the beautiful unit for us prior to moving in. We are now in an absolutely gorgeous apartment as we build our new construction home. We are safe in this amazing gated community with a private lake view. Panoramic windows and cathedral ceilings will make you fall in love!! Mostly though this property is a superb because the management team and Allison will absolutely do backflips to ensure you are safe and comfortable in your new home. They are so attentive and responsive and respectful. I have lived here in 2014 and now 2020 six years later and it is still as beautiful and the service is Diamonds 💎 💎 Fist class teamwork!!

ALLISON, and the Watermark Team!! WOW AMAZING SERVICE!!! I sold my home during the holidays and Allison went above and beyond to help me and my family settle in to our lease unit while we build our new home. Allison on every step of the way was very attentive and responsive and helpful and kind. She went as far as manually cleaning the unit we were leasing her self as it was the Holiday and the cleaning people were gone for the holidays. I am very demanding and high maintenance and there was not one thing she could not do! Absolutely a super star!! The leasing office is great!! We came for a tour a while back and our car battery died, Alexis drove over with her own car and called the groundskeeper to try to help us get it jumped off for over 30 mins. Very nice people, and they have been very responsive and helpful throughout the application and signing process.

I’ve been here about 6 months now and I absolutely love the place. It’s a safe community other then minor life situations happening, the property stays on top of it. I am extremely grateful for Allison, not only did she make my cross country move seamless with my kids from start to finish, her character has not changed at all. Just wanted to take the time to say I’m very happy I made the love I did and would suggest for anyone especially if you have kids. The bus stops inside of the community for all graded levels and there are so many events that allow us to meet our neighbors. I am at peace at home!

She went above and beyond to ensure all my questions were answered and I was kept in the loop promptly. I’ve never had property management be so responsive and friendly. The maintenance staff are rockstars as well. Thank you to Carsen for fixing my dishwasher so quickly! The hosted events make Cortland feel like a community rather than just an apartment complex. Overall is good, but why the community gate hasn’t been fixed yet over months. Last rainy season it went down and been always opened since then, but ungated caused some car break in activity in our neighborhood, hope the gate can be fixed soon which could guaranteed our neighborhood’s safety

In this market, this place is as close to value for money as you'll likely get in the area. Excellent staff and nice peaceful area. Good dog parks and nice place for walks in general. Close to nice parks, shops, and restaurants - and the highway. Quite shoddy craftsmanship in home interior (paint, doors, handles) but not a dealbreaker. 4/5 would move again!

The best place to be. I had to do a last minute move from Macon, Georgia and I called complex after complex. Courtland Watermark not only was very responsive, but they were patient and empathetic with all of my frustrations (obviously none of my frustrations had anything to do with them). They went the extra mile to make sure I’d have a roof over my head and they hadn’t met me until move-in day. On top of the great staff, the location is quite literally perfect. Anything you want/need is within walking distance. I would recommend this complex to anyone!

Easy process, well-documented so you can read the details again later. Leasing agent (Allison) was knowledgeable and quick to address any move-in concerns. Everything was ready for us - clean, well-maintained, and no delays with the move - with the exception of a loose knob on the stove which was fixed within a day. No complaints, which is a first for us. We are detail-oriented and usually have a lot of service requests when moving in somewhere, but not this time!

The grounds staff are stellar as well, all smiles and quick to assist in any way. First, let me start by saying the Cortland at the Water is bomb, (FBI agent reading this, this means a good thing) the facility is neat, clean, and the workout facility is pretty awesome. Allison M, one of the leasing agents is a pretty awesome person. She possesses the communication of a Airplane traffic controller person. She will communicate with you until she gets you in. Thanks Alli! The apartment, was super clean when I moved in, and the maintenance is also top notch. One call will do it, however, my linen closet door is still swinging open. Im sure they will get that repaired. Whatever you do, please do not go to the Franklin Gateway Apartment complex. Trust me on the words that are coming out my mouth, come here, and be happy. For Valentine’s Day, they had a bouquet buffet with flowers, custom cards, and stickers. It was a very pleasant experience. As soon as I walked in the door I felt the love. I stayed at Watermark at East Cobb by Cortland for almost a year and my experience has been overall very positive. With their positive attitude, the office staff made the entire experience very welcoming. Special mention for Sasha, Jackie and Michelle. Leasing office staff, especially Sasha Schafler, Jackie, Pitts, Michelle Price were wonderful, extremely courteous, ever smiling and very very helpful. Right from the leasing process, move-in and then move-out, the entire process was very smooth. It was so easy to communicate with the entire staff, whether on phone or email or in-person. My move-in was from across the state, but Jackie was so helpful to provide a video tour, explain the entire leasing process, get us all set-up...it was the smoothest move-in I've ever had within US in so many years! Later Michelle and Sasha handled the initial payments/keys handover etc. and Sasha handled the move-out...everything super smooth!! I lived here for one year and only moved when moving to a different city. It’s a great community to live in, with a very comfortable lifestyle. Did not experience any issues that are common in other apartments such as mold, car break ins, unresponsive maintenance, lack of parking, pest issues - nothing. The apartments are well built and well kept, and maintenance is extremely prompt and friendly. Special shout-out to Sasha, Michelle, and Alexis in the leasing office for always addressing any matters efficiently and respectfully. Everything was easy from move in to move out procedures and no tricks or hidden fees, like you would find at many other places. It’s also super quiet, no construction noise or noise from a busy road or anything like that. I think this would be a good home for an individual or family at any stage of life. Friendly office staff. Very dog friendly community but tenants do not often clean up after their dogs. Due to recent knee surgery, I rented a first floor unit and it has been a nightmare. I barely get 4hrs of sleep with the tenants above me. They are constantly dragging around their furnitures at all hours. The building is old and the floors squeaks from above units (you literally hear everything and I have people above me who are up until 2am). Was told this was a very quiet community (must have been placed in the loud section).

Lived here for 2 years and would stay longer if work didn’t have me moving out of state! Staff was amazing and the property was always well kept.

Where to begin really. The staff in the leasing office here is exceptional and friendly which automatically made me trust them and feel comfortable living here. It seems every day they are doing things to improve the community and make it that much better for the residents. Maintenance is timely and thorough. Cortland Watermark is a great place to call home!

I have been impressed with the Staff at Cortland Watermark since I began the process of moving in. Each person that talked to me was friendly and informative. I have never had such a good impact with apartment living before moving here.

We just stopped by today to check an apartment and Toni guided us! Sasha also helped us out! Super friendly staff, my best friend Felipe lives here and he always talks about how great the place is.. We arrived just in time because they were having a free ice cream social with all the residents! Super nice :) I am looking forward to live here! Thank you guys <3

My son resides at this residence I really wish I could but my credit isn't all that however it was a sad day he moved out today to work overseas but if you were to return back to Cobb county Georgia he says that he'll move right back in to this beautiful community, it's always quiet when I go over there there's never cops over there there's no thugs walking around over there people actually have their animals on leashes at this place it's just a lovely wonderful place to live and I sure as hell wish that I could get approved to live here. It's actually looks a lot better in person and then on the internet.

Despite the uptick in rent around the area Cortland Watermark is a nice place to hang your hat for awhile. The onsite amenities, location and community have been refreshing.

Lived here for 2 years, leasing office is so nice. Would have renewed for a 3rd time if I wasn’t relocated for work. BUT, because of my experience here I did transfer to another cortland property in another state. They made the process very easy. Would recommend living here!

this place has been wonderful. As a student and young adult, they have been very helpful with us and haven’t taken advantage of the fact that we are young and this is our first place. The move in process was great and the place was extremely clean and fresh when we went to move in. The neighbors are nice as well and this all feels like home. I’m excited to keep living here. Sasha has been AMAZING and she was so caring about us moving in. I would highly recommend this place to everyone that can afford it.

I have lived here 7vyears and I absolutely love it. The staff is friendly and so helpful. Everyone is kind and extremely welcoming whenever I go inside the leasing office. Work orders get taken care of quickly and efficiently and the community always looks so nice and clean. I love living here!

When U walked in the office at Watermark Jackie Pitts, leasing consultant took a stand and introduced herself. Jackie is as friendly, personable, welcoming & comfortable talking with me. She is a excellent communicator to relay information in regards to the community & apartment. Detailed info was a breeze giving info about the lease. All if the staff members are friendly & knowledgeable. They are willing to go the extra mile. I have enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The grounds are kept up in a timely manner. I am a retired teacher and I sold my home and moved into my Watermark at East Cobb home in September of 2020. Upon meeting Sasha and Jackie in the leasing office I immediately felt at home and at ease on making a major lifestyle change from living in my home for 30 years. I love the amenities and the location of my new apartment home on the lake and the spacious layout of my new home! If I have ever submitted a request it has been taken care of quickly and with personal attention promptly! Such a great and friendly community for all ages. I love it at Watermark!!!! I am home and feel blessed and safe and so very happy so far.

I am so proud to call Watermark at East Cobb my home! I am a retired teacher and sold my home in 2020 to downsize and start the next chapter in my life. I have lived in this area for years and I wanted to stay in familiar territory. I scheduled my appointment at Watermark at East Cobb and met with Sasha. Upon meeting her I felt welcomed and very comfortable about my new adventure. Sasha and Jackie are awesome and professional and very helpful. The amenities and apartment home layout and location on the lake was awesome!!!! I knew I had found my new home. Everyone who works here is very friendly and professional and helpful and willing to make you happy and comfortable and proud to call Watermark home. When I have have had questions or needed repair they have been prompt and professional and courteous. I feel blessed to live here and the residents and all the Cortland staff are huge parts of why I am proud to call this home!!!

6 months update: okay so let me start off by saying that initial when we first had the sink hole situation we wanted to move. However I want to applaud the entire staff at watermark from the leasing office to the maintenance crew. They have done a great job. These people actually really care about this community and went above and beyond to help better the situation. Maintenance is great and they are pretty prompt about resolving issues. This community is also amazing the people that live here will really make you feel at home. I would recommend this place 100% even with the issues we’ve had we have grown to really love living here. UPDATE: Sasha is amazing. Shortly after my review mostly everything was fixed. Now our apartment is in a way better state and we are super happy with our apartment and the community. Everyone is super friendly and the entire complex is maintained very clean. I diff recommend. It’s a very nice community to live in. Original:So far our experience with this complex has not been great
